Photoshop Elements

Hi. I have recently changed from using PS CS6 to PSE 2023. I never had a problem printing photos to my Canon printers before switching.I often print out  e.g. 5x7" prints on A4 paper, getting 2 to a page. I have noticed that if I rotate and position a landscape format image to the top of the paper in the PSE Editor print dialog, the image is cropped to a square, when the Canon print preview window is shown.  If I do the same from the PSE Organiser print dialog, the image is shown correctly.The same problem occurs on both Canon printers, using different driver software, which is the latest available.Printing from the Organiser after editing the image  wastes time. Why is there a difference between  Organiser and Editor? 

How do I get photoshop elements to let me save or use the photos on my macbook? They are clearly there and I can open the photos in the organizer (odd name since absolutely nothing is 'organized' in it) but I am not able to fully use elements.  Are Elements and Macbook simply not compatable? Thank you, 

I currently have Photoshop Elements 12 on Windows 10.  I purchased a new computer with Windows 11.  Photoshop 12 will not install on windows 11 so I purchased Photoshop Elements 2023 and installed on the new laptop.How do I move the catalogs/data from the old laptop? Do I have to upgrade on the old to 2023 before I do the backup and restore to move the catalogs to the new laptop?Thanks

Adobe claims PSE 2023 runs native on M2 but when I contacted support via chat they said "I'll be happy to assist you with Photoshop Elements install info. Rosetta is required to run Photoshop Elements on MAC M1 & M2 as Photoshop Elements 2023 is an intel based application as of now" Which is it? False advertising or incompetent support. Either way I got a refund and lost respect for Adobe. 

Hi.  I had elements 14 installed on 2 devices...and old PC and OLDER 😉 laptop.  The laptop is dead.  I have a new PC but can't validate 14 on this new PC because of the 2 device limit.  Is there anything I can do about this issue?  TIA 

Hi, I want to install and run Photoshop Elements. I have a 2012 imac running Catalina macOS v10.15.7. Can you please advise on which version of Photoshop elements I need and where I can source it from?I've tried to install the Elements 2023 version but its not compatable (requires macOS 11). I believe 2020 is compatible, but I'm not sure and I don't know where to source it from. Please help.

Why cant I download NEF files from my Nikon D720o camera but can from my older D700 camera

Hello people, Tried my first attempt at editing (about 100 photos). FIrst it wouldnt except HEIC format so I had to convert to JPG--ok got it. Then first photo pops up and I just  do a quick auto smart trim.  Looks fine. I want to do that to 99 more photos. Now im stuck, How do I click to get to the next photo without losing the enhancment of the first photo?  I start a chat and im given the following:Do one of the following:Click File > Save As. Press Ctrl+Shift+S (Windows) or Command+Shift+S (Mac OS).Choose PNG from the format list.Specify a file name and location, select file-saving options, and click Save.In the PNG Options dialog box, select an Interlace option and click OK........   WHAT!! is this what has to be done?? That sounds crazy. Am I being ignorant about this??

Hi,I recently updated to premiere / photoshop 2023, then I found the element organizer homescreen.I need to click again to access photoshop or element after this screen. It is annoying. I need to click twice to get the photoshop or premiere. Moreover I discovered after this element organizer I cannot use windown organizer function of (1) move to (2) copy to (3) Delete, and (4) Rename. these area of windows organizer icons became grey. I cannot use them. It seems adobe want us to use the element organizer for these functions. I have no interest to use the element organizer, I know how to use the windows organizer for these functions. So I have to use another PC (which no adobe product) for deleting / renaming SD files. It is totally annoying. I searched everwhere how to disable this element organizer. But no answer for disabling element organizer. Also the AI chat does not help at all. They only give me the same repeating answer. Just waste of time.  Please help

Is it possible to go directly into the organiser from a desktop icon, avoiding having to first enter by way of the "introductory" page which shows "Oganiser, Photo Editor, Video Editor " and all the other features on offer?

I have Photoshop Elements 13, which will no longer run on my OS (I have Ventura 13.2.1 on my MacBook). The serial number won't work when I plug it in for Elements 2023. The full price for 2023 is $99.99. Can't I get a discount since I own an older version?

I use PSE just about every day, version 15, Expert mode only, using Windows 10.  I launch it from a shortcut to the PSD that brings me directly to the PSD file in Expert mode.  I never use Organizer.  I've been working on a particular photo for a couple days now, and all of a sudden I get the "Open / Menu / Quick / Guided / Expert" screen with the default set to "Guided".  See the screen shot below (note: I went to Export mode to create the screenshot, so that is what is showing in the screenshot, but initially it was in Guided). So how can I go directly to Expert mode?  I don't even want the menu where you have to pick the mode.  It's been working fine for years, and all of a sudden this happened.  I don't see anything in PSE settings for this.  I don't want to try all sorts of resetting those settings back to defaults since that will probably cause more problems. I did try searches on this forum for the problem and found several match

When in Photo Editor and  trying  to print an image I am no longer able to move the image in the blue framed box to where I want it to print out on the paper. I have been printing 12 x 12 images onto 13 x 19 paper and before printing I have always been able to grab the box and place it at the top of the 13 x 19 paper and for some reason it will no longer let me grab that box with the image and move it up. I don't want to print in the center of the page. Never had this problem before so  have no idea what I did  or how to fix it. Have changed nothing in the way I am printing and have been for months. Any ideas?

PSE 2023 cannot find my catalog from PSE 2021 to convert it. I see the catalog.pse19db file I want to convert. I know the location of this catalog, but when I try to convert it, the correct catalog is not listed.  Here are some screenshots that might help:1. PSE 2021 catalog information: 2. File names and locations: the Green hightlighted files are the PSE 2021 catalog that I want to convert. The pink ones are the current one (empty) one I created as a test in PSE 2023. 3. These are the catalogs I have the option of converting to 2023 if I browse to the  above folder:As I note in the above image, none of those catalogs are the catalog I want to convert (DebsCurrentCatalog--the one highlighted in green in image #2). I did convert those 3 files, just to double check that the media item count was off, but, indeed, none of the 3 were my DebsCurrentCatalog. Does anyone have any idea why PSE 2023 cannot see DebsCurrentCatalog to convert it?

I created a category in the pattern stamp tool and had many (MANY) saved patterns. While using the tool, I inadvertently clicked on another category name and have lost all my saved patterns. Is there a way to get them back? I need help! Thanks --

Hi, i'm currently watching a youtube tutorial -'below' but am stuck at 0.38seconds when it asks me to press clear; on my screen it comes up blank. i've gone back through to the start, tried a different photo and reset my preferences but nothing is working can someone please help me out.  kind regards elise 

I've just got Elements 23 but don't like the set up to the Organiser page. Would prefer the images to have a thick border round each one as in previous editions. Can I customise the Organiser page a bit to suit my preferences?

Hallo an alle, bisher wurden mir immer alle Bilder, die ich bearbeiten wollte, in 23,5 % angezeigt.Jetzt auf einmal werden die bei 33,9 % geöffnet.Wenn ich über Ansicht -> Auszoomen gehe, kann ich das auf 25 % runterziehen.Aber wie komme ich auf 23,5 %? VG

A about a year and half ago I updated to Windows 10 and Elements 2022.  (I was running windows 7/and element15 ). At that time I had to reload all my pictures in to a new catalog with albums and captions. I've been backing up every time I made changes to the catalog. Then last week  I had to fix my windows 10 after it got corrupted and reload my elements 2022 software. The problem is that my catalog is empty all my Albums names and  captions. My pictures are on my hard drive and have to be put into the catalog.I thought if I backed up my files it save all the albums  names captions etc. but just just save the pictures.The question I have what files do I need to save use when I back up my system to make sure this doesn't happen again.

I am using Photoshop Elements 2021. I have downloaded templates for greeting card setup that are specifically for Elements from Red River Paper. I have scanned my watercolors on my Epson V600 scanner at 400 DPI at their full size of about 8x10. I will eventually sell prints of them but first I want to do a line of note cards. My problem is when I open the scans in Elements and follow instructions from the templates and also from various videos I've watched, when I use the crop tool to resize the scan to 4x5.25 which is the print area of the front of the card, and then use the move tool to bring it onto the card front template, it is enormous! If I look in the image resize tool, it says it is the correct size. But obviously I am doing something badly wrong. Help??
