Elements 2023 Shadows and Highlights.With every adjustment of the slider I have to uncheck and re-check the preview box to see the adjustment i have made to the photo.The adjstment I am making should be obvious and be able to be seen as i am doing it.I spoke to a senior technician yesterday (21st March 2023) who advsied it is still being looked into. they are providing a slow service.Camera and Card Reader recognition Elements 2023.Senior Tech at Adobe told me I have to subscribe to some area of Bridge to allow the Camera recgnition to operate and download the photos from a card reader.An adobe emloyee operating an on- line blog advised that downloading Adobe Bridge BETA solves this recognition problem and it did.Adobe BETA now recognises my camera and my card reader just like the last Photoshop Elements 19 etc.

I am using Photoshop Elements 2020 on a Dell computer with Windows 11 Operating system.I have created a terrible situation, so that Organizer will not open.I started to try to use a Seagate Hard Drive Backup because I saw a notice that it had done a complete back up. I can not find that back up file. I changed the Drive name and that confused the Organizer. So I did a restore from that day's Organizer backup. I saw it all come back. But now I can not open the Organizer. Would I be better off to delete Organizer and reinstall it.? Then I could ask it to restore from the Organizer backup files on the EHD. 

This is the problem I was having when I had 2022.  When wanting to change a typeface and scrolling down the list to find the one I want, the screen freezes and then crashes. A reboot brings it back but doesn't fix the problem.  Additionally, when entering text, it is always inserted under the top layer and thus I can not see what I am entering.  Using Win 11 with plenty of memory. Will uninstalling Adobe 2022 and reinstalling 2023 be the cure?

I am to click on the text two times and it should open bevel and emboss and other settings, etc.I tried everything and no where can I find this section that opens with bevel and emboss and a bunch of other things, more than what's in the layer styles area. I need to find this to do my tutorials right, Can anyone show me where it's at in PS Elements 15 please? Thanks

I am using Photoshop Elements 15. I am doing a tutorial and for the life of me I cannot find bevel and emboss.The lady is using Photoshop Cs something. This is where I'm stuck:   I click the fx button but no bevel and embosscomes up, hence I cannot find inner shadow to change settings. Elements 15 is so different, never had troublewith Photoshop. Please answer asap if you can, thanks so much.12.  At the bottom of the layer palette, click on the Add a Layer Style button (the fx icon again), and choose Inner Shadow and change your settings to the ones in the picture below.

Whe editing text , the cursor will place as normal, however any overtyping, character deleting, font changes, color changes, etc ... are not visible until green x 'commit' is clicked.  Essentialy all text editing must be done blind  ... no changes are visible.Windows 10 updated,  PS Elements v21... I've uninsatlled and re-installed multiple times.  The software is useless in this state ... help please:)-Michael

Hi. i just bought a new Sony A7Riii Camera and the Elements Software won't open the RAW files even though Adobe says it supports this model camera. I'm using Elements 2021 Version 19.0 and the Camera Raw version is 13.0.0.612.  I downloaded the latest version which is 15.3 and it installed but Elements only recognizes the 13 version.The ARW files are around 34 mbs in size. I tried using different cards and the compressed and uncompressed settings on the camera yet the RAW files won't open. Here is te error message I am getting: Thanks in advance for any suggestions.Howie

I bought a new printer - all of my other software is doing just fine with it.  Adobe Photoshop 10 seems to think I am trying to fax.  I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still everytime I try to print a picture only fax options come up.  My printer has the option of faxing, but I have not activated this feature. 

HiI have all my photo and video files on external hard disks and the Photoshop Elements 2020 catalog file is of course saved on the "normal" location on the current windows 10 computer (Program Data/Adobe/Elements Organizer/Catalogs).Now I need to purchase a new computer and I want to keep all my photo files on the same external hard disks, but I want to move the current catalog file to the new computer because in that catalog are all the information like key words, tags, named persons, events, locations, etc. etc. Can I simply copy/paste the catalog folder of the old computer to the new computer to the correct location? Or will there be any problems? Or is there another way how to do it in correct way?The Adobe help pages all speak about the full backup including the photo files, but all my photo files will stay in the same locations in those external hard disks, so no need to recopy all those files.Thanks a lot in advance for your help!Hanspeter

I have used Elements 8 for some time and organize my images on my 😧 drive. Suddenly the photo downloader in Elements does not see the 😧 drive. I can see all my exisiting images from within Elements but just can see thwe 😧 drive from within the downloader. I have been into the preferences menu and browsed rge saved files location but the 😧 drive is not visible there either! The downloader is defaulting to the C:\users location. 

After my Dad moved on to the Greast Generation Heaven his old beloved Dell Inspirion Desktop remained unused for 9 years or so. I just turned it on and as you might expect EVERYTHING wants to update. That said, starting with Windows 7 which is " NO LONGER SUPPORTED " and messages tell me that the OS is NOT " Genuine ". I suppose a semantic arguement can be made as it sure seems to me that almost every company that still exists is trying to figure out ways of making money now with the current POLICIES< PROTOCOLS< and PROCEDURES which basically means " get annual income from products that were once SOLD ONCE for X $'s FOREVER. But now, " FOREVER " is nomore! So lets come up with words that confuse and suggest....suggest that you " get on board " with paying an annual fee to use their product. To make matters worse, being a " good son " I volunteered to do all of the tings he didn't want to learn or do; including buying this particular Dell FOR HIM after crashing the HIGHEST EN

Recently installed PSE 2022 on my Win10 Home laptop.The Organiser has corrrectly imported all my pictures.At the top of the screen are the menu buttons File, Edit, Find, View and Help but when I click on any of these nothing happens! The detailed drop down menu items do not appear.  Have tried running as Administrator but no difference.In the Photo Editor all the main menu items operate correctly! Help please!

I then tried to use the refine edge tool to get rid of what the lasso tool did not. But no matter how many times I go over the background around the girl, I can't get all of it to go away.Any help would be appreciated.this is what I'm doing and you can see the problem areas.Thanks in advance.Dave

 When I start to use this programme, I get told I can't proceed because my disc is full ?

I can't download my purchased and registered PSE 2020. When I click the download button my computer kind of blinks and then goes right back where it was. I'm running on Windows 10

I am using PSE 2020 on a Windows 10 PC and this question arises from a wider discussion about how to tidy up a messy folder structure  - https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-elements-discussions/tools-and-tips-for-tidying-messy-file-and-catalog-in-pse2020-on-w10/m-p/13728750#M724433  I now have a clean catalog on an external hard drive and a messy set of old folders on a PC. Before deleting any old files on the PC, I want to positively confirm that the new catalog is complete and includes everything that I want from the the PC. @MichelBParis suggested importing the old folders in to the new catalog on the basis that, if the files are not present, they will be imported and will be clearly visible on the folder view. If the files are present, the PSE will just skip them.Unfortunately, the way PSE identifies duplicates seems to be complicated and some files that look like duplicates to me are not being skipped - they are imported and now look like duplica

Can anyone tell me how to stop PE23 Organiser messing with the timestamp of my images? I set the time as I want it on my camera, and I want that time reflected in Organiser without it making any changes (if I set the timestamp wrongly, I know how to change it in organiser and don't want it second guessing me).. I recently came back from Australia. I downloaded photos from my camera to my laptop throughout the tour, and had the timestamps on my images set as I wanted them in PE23 Organiser on my laptop. But when I transfer these images across to PE23 Organiser on the master system on my desktop, it has changed the timestamp on all my images by 11 hours - except for any images that I edited on my laptop, where it changes the timestamp on the original image in the version set, but keeps the time I set on my laptop for the edited image in the version set - which then becomes a total mess to try and sort out. I know its something to do with whether daylight saving time is switched

This problem has started recently, but is causing a major problem. I have an iPhone X and am trying to import photos using Elements 18. It now imports to a folder, who's name is based on Date Modified, not Date Taken. I get 5000 photos imported into folder 20200527. Not sure why the camera thinks they were all modified on that date? Anyhow these photos are duplicates of ones that I have previously imported. I wish Elements was using Date Taken to create the folder, but it is not. Any help would be appreciated.   I just tried importing using Windows Explorer and it works as expected, so the problem is with Elements.  

I have some greyed out tools in photoshop elements 2022.  I haven't been able to resolve this issue and haven't found anything in the support community about it that helped.  I tried to contact customer support chat and this is how it ended. Syed, I believe this is the 4th time I have contacted tech support this evening. On each occasion, after being transferred to a tech support person, I eventually get the following message "While this conversation has ended, feel free to come back anytime you need help". I assume I am being cut off by the tech support person who doesn't want to deal with the problem.  Syed immediately cut off the chat at this point.  I guess I shouldn't be surprised although I was hoping I might get someone, maybe a more experienced tech support person, who would try and resolve the problem. Anyone have any advice?  I am using a Macbook Pro running the latest OS.

hi everyone,does any of you know what to do with this bug notification?it says "connect to internet and try again"(I am connected of course, and i checked the license number, it's correct).  -> before buying the official license number I am struggling with, I bought a Photoshop software " license included" on a french marketplace. It worked fine during 90 days, then asked for a license number. Obviously, it was a hacked software. I desinstalled it with Revo Uninstaller in order to get rid of all the registry files, I now i wonder if Revo Uninstaller was "not enough" & it is the reason why I cannot install the official license? Is there a specific file I should delete manually with regedit windows functionality? How can I fix this installation issue please? and last but not least, how can I denounce the vendor that sold me a hacked Adobe software please.  

Hallo,seit gestern kann ich in Photoshop Elements 2021 den Foto-Editor nicht mehr starten. Ich werde aufgefordert mich anzumelden (Meldumg: "Anmeldung erforderlich"), was ich auch erfolgreich tue (es erscheint nach der Anmeldung eine entsprechende Meldung im Browser-Fenster), die Software startet aber nicht. 21 Monate ging das einwandfrei, seit gestern aber nicht mehr. Ich bin leider vollkommen ratlos, warum dieses Problem plötzlich auftritt.Kann mir evtl. hier jemand weiterhelfen? Danke schon mal im Voraus!

Il a très bien fonctionné pendant 90 jours, puis j'ai eu cette fenêtre :  je me suis donc fait avoir par un vendeur malveillant en achetant une version d'essai !j'ai donc acheté une version officielle de Photoshop Elements 2023 avec un numéro de série / licence.mais lorsque j'ajoute le numéro de série dans  « activer maintenant »,  j'obtiens cette fenêtre : bien entendu, je suis sur internet, donc je ne comprends pas ce message d'erreur. j'aimerais svp :- savoir comment régler ce message d'erreur,- savoir comment dénoncer le vendeur de Cdiscount qui vend illégalement des versions d'essai. merci à tous !

Bonjour à toutes et tous, j'ai acheté une licence Adobe Elements via le site Amazon. j'ai installé ma version sur un ancien PC et souhaite la réinstaller sur mon nouveau PC.Pb, je dispose de la clé d'échange mais on me demande de me connecter avec une adresse email à laquelle je n'ai plus d'accès (c'est mon ancien opérateur).j'ai la preuve d'achat Amazon et la clé mais impossible de resinstaller .et je ne trouve sur le site aucune information pour contacter Adobe par mail ou par tel.merci de votre aide  Eric

PE 2023, Window 10, Display resolution @1366x768.  So Tool Tips is checked. (Perf. Gen.)No Toolbox section titles are showing.  I would like to know how to turn them on.  Thank you.
