I'm using PSE 2022. When I upload to PSE, I save my files in date structure to an external network drive. I then go in and create albums. I've created albums in the Organizer and order prints from these albums through Mpix (a photo lab). I use Windows 11 and have Mpix snapped on one side of my screen and PSE snapped on the other (see attached). Mpix has a photo drop and drag upload option and it would be nice to be able to drag the photo images (which are attached to actual files) from the album in the Organizer, however, I'm not able to get this to work unless I click on the image (one at a time), then click on it's location (which opens File Explorer) and drag it over (through a drag and drop app) over to the Mpix upload. Does anyone have a suggestion on how I can do this? It would really help my workflow. Just to note, I am able to drag and drop from File Explorer, so it's not a Window drag/drop issue.

Hallo,ich versuche Photoshop Elements auf unseren neuen PC mit Windows 11 zu installieren. Beim Starten der Anwendung werde ich aufgefordert, mein Produkt innerhalb 7 Tagen mit meiner Adobe ID zu registrieren. Mithilfe des angezeigten Links logge ich mich mit Mailadresse und Passwort ein, dann erscheint im Browser die Meldung "You're signed in. You can now close this window and get back to where you left off." Und dann kann ich wieder von vorne anfangen, eine Endlosschleife.... Kann mir jemand helfen.Ich installiere das von DVD mit Produktcode. Danke im Voraus, Hans

Hello community, I'm needing some help. Years ago I had two dedicated hard drives for my photos. One of them crashed leaving the photos it held gone forever.  I have since upgraded my backup work flow.  I recently found an old shoe box that had a backup of my catalogs over the years and I believe some of my lost images will be found on these burned DVD's. Problem is, I don't know what to do to get them back. I use APE 2022. Do I go to "Restore Cataglog"? I don't want to loose what I currently have as it's been years of new photos being added to my catalog since the loss of that drive. I haven't found a good solution in the community discussions and hoping someone can help talk me through this.

Hallo,ich habe Adobe Photoshop Elemtens 2021 und Premiere Elements 2021 gekauft - im Oktober.Auf der Adobe-Webseite habe ich beide Programme mit der Seriennummer registriert. Keine Probleme.Wenn ich die Software aber mit derselben Nummer aktivieren möchte, erhalte ich immer die Meldung: die "Sereinnummer ist ungültig"!Ich habe die Software auch wiederholt neu installiert, mich über die Software in meinen Account eingeloggt - mit der gleichen Adobe-ID. Alle klappt.Nur nicht die Aktivierung!Was kann ich tun? Thomas 

Nach dem Herunterladen des alten Elements 12 mit Produktnummer kommt immer wieder die Aufforderung "anmelden" und ist nicht möglich. Kann mir jemand helfen? 

After going to my Products page, the one that shows every version I purchased, I select Download for the correct version. A dialog comes up to download the installer.This goes fine.I select the language and leave the Location as Default.I click Continue and it seems to be installing but eventually fails with 'Sorry, installation failed'The error code is 183.So I go to the page for fixing installation problems and choose eror 183.The only solution it gives me is to retry or go to a page on how to fix 183 when installing Creative Cloud apps.I have retried several times.This doesn't help.Help! 

I would like to clear the cache in PSE 2022. I have read on the forums that I can navigate through File Explorer to the cache and manually clear it or go through Preferences in Elements. I have a screenshot of what I'm seeing in Elements and wondering which cache to clear? Do I clear everything under Common or one of the specific folders under that (Media Cache, Media Cache Files, or Peak Files)? Likewise, what will I loose in terms of function by clearing the cache. Thanks! My goal in clearing my cache is to be able to upload HEIC files I'm having issues with and to clean up any unnecessary junk. 

When saving a photo after an adaptation, often get the following message:"Could not save ... because the file is already in use or not closed by another application"But which other program is in use? Or which other program is not closed?Never working with other programs who are open!Is this a mistake in Photoshop Elements 2025?

Hello. I am having significant issues with using my text box in Adobe Photoshop Elements.  I have used both Elements and Photoshop for many, many years, so I don't think it's a user error, but don't know for sure! When I click on text, and create text I am having 2 issues.  First, I often run out of space and the text is not showing.  This used to be easily fixable by reconfiguring the box, but elelments will not allow me to change the shape of the box or size of the box, no matter how much I try.  I have tried using my touch pad and my mouse.   I am using Microsoft Edge as my browser....but in the past, it worked just fine.   Any solutions?  This is driving me nuts.      

I use a Canon printer, and can not get small photos to move to the edges of the photo paper to conserve paper. Please advise how to do so. I've tried deselecting the Centre button and reducing the parameters to 0, but the photo does not move from centre alignment. So much wasted paper! Additionally, I am having difficulty resizing pictures and having them print to the specifications entered. I am operating on Windows 11, if that has any relevance.Thanks for the asssistance.

When using PS Elements 2024 – 25, to cut an object from the image using the manual selection tools where the auto has failed to grab the outline, the cursor will disappear in certain colour backgrounds. That in turn, makes accurate selection of indistinct edges where the object colour blends into the background, very difficult, particularly in Macro Photography. I would like to be able to select a colour, and the density in pixels for the cursor to keep its visibility under various conditions and background image. Unfortunately I have recommended your software to over 30 archaeologist around the country, regrettably we all have the same issue.  Please respond.

Why can't I see my text when I type in Adobe Photoshop Elements 2021?

Hello, have been runing PSE for some years, recently moved to a new MacBook Pro (M4 Chip, Sequoia 15.3.1) and purchased PSE 2025 (Ver. 25.1).All seemed well, but today cleaning up some pix, i notice that in some folders, the organizer shows multiple pictures for one file.example: in the finder, under the folder i'm currently seeing in the organizer, there is a file "Trish.JPG"in the organizer, there are two identical images with the following information in the side panel:            1) filename Trish.JPG - has correct tag, person name, location.            2) filename Trish.jpg - has no tag, incorrect person, no location.they both show identical information under general/meta/history exept for the case of the .jpg extension case.if i delete the erronious image (or the correct image), the remaining image becomes disonnected. i'm seeing this in multiple folders, some files are represented 3 times, again with the only diffe

I recently gave my old PC, installed with Photoshop Elements 2020 to my daughter, who lives at a different address. My Elements version is on DVD, which I installed successfully with serial numbers onto my new PC.My daughter cannot access Elements and continually gets the error message shown on the attachment, saying a crash report has been reported. Repeatedly submitting this form does not cure the problem.Please advise the solution to this.

When I run the "Open in Camera Raw" command in Photoshop Elements Editor 2024 (advanced)the photo opens but not the photo editing Tools to the right of it.

Had PSE 2020, Desktop bust (HDD OK), downloaded PSE 2020 to new machine, but tags (Catalogue ?) not there... Pictures themselves OK, they were on a NAS. Recovered files (Tree - Programme Files/Adobe/Elements 2020 Organiser) from old hard disc (which was 2x500G in Raid 0). Which folders / files do I need to replace in the new machine, to get back to where I was before the old machine broke ?   Should I simply replace them all (Elements 2020 Organiser and all sub folders files) or could that mess up the loading of the programme ? I suspect this question is rather easier to pose than answer, any help / guidance would be appreciated.

i have a code of adobe photoshop elements 2023 , i activated it on both my laptop and pc.but one time i formated my pc without knowing i need to deactivate the code from the pc.i went to my activated products page and nothing shows up.i cant reach with any employe, no live chat, no email.is there any way i can deactivate the code so i can use it on my pc again

I've searched everywhere and couldn't find the answer to this, so hopefully someone here can help me! When you tag faces in Elements, do they get backed up like the other tags do? I hate to spend so many hours tagging faces if they won't be backed up.

Hi - please can someone help with this? I went to use the Adobe Elements program that I paid for with my computer purchase a couple of years ago. I have been using the image editing part regularly , but I hadn’t used the video editing. When I tried to launch the video editor, it asked for the license number (which is weird because it’s all part of the same program) and then rejected my license number because – I think – Adobe has decided not to allow ‘new’ activations of old programs (see link below). Which makes no sense as I HAD activated it and have been using it regularly. I'm guessing that Adobe is treating the image and video editing components of the program as separate software - but that hardly seems fair as they are under one 'Elements' umbrella - one download, one licence number etc. Is there a workaround? Ich nutze seit einiger Zeit Photoshop Elements 2024 mit Windows 10 zur schnellen Bearbeitung von Fotos. Bis vor wenigen Tagen hatte ich keinerlei Probleme die RAW Dateien meiner Sony Alpha 7 IV zu öffnen. Aber nun ist das nicht mehr möglich. Die neueste Version (16.0) ist installiert, laut Adobe Website müsste die Kamera seit Version 14 unterstützt werden. Wie geschrieben, bis vor wenigen Tagen war das noch möglich, nun erscheint beim Öffnen der RAW-Datei der Hinweis aus dem Screenshot. Eine Aktualisierung von Camera Raw bzw. eine Neuinstallation von Photoshop Elements hat keine Verbesserung gebracht. Ich bin etwas überfragt gerade. Weiß jemand einen Rat?

Suppose I open a PDF file in Photoshop elements, create several layers and then save that file as a Photoshop PDF.    Can that altered file be opened by someone who does not have Photoshop or Photoshop Elements but does have a program that open PDFs?  Will the file be opened as a merged layer file?

I have just reinstalled PSE2022 on a new laptop and the images are in PS blue logo. How do I get my images back?

In previous versions (Prior to PSE 2025) You typically had to wait till an update was pushed out to you to receive it.    With PSE 2025 I noted this morning there was a location you could go to and download the latest version, with the most current update.I hadn't really though about it-  I checked and I was still running the original version- without any updates.I downloaded and installed from the link below and it is the most recent update- it even includes a feature I suggested some time ago. https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/release-note/update.html
