Photoshop Elements

Hi. I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 2022 installed on my desktop pc. I have Windows 11 OS. When I start the program and go into Photo Editor I click on the Guided Mode. The Guided Edits tabs do not show up. What do I do to get them to show up? I have uninstalled the program and reinstalled it and still the same thing. 

The Camera Raw feature of older versions of Elements (specifically 2020 and 2016) had an option where I could change the default values for basic adjustments, such as highlights, whites, and vibrance.  I used that feature to apply a starting set of adjustments that worked reasonably well for most of my raw photos, knowing that there would still be unique tweaks for each photo.  I cannot find any way to do the same think in Camera Raw 16.0.0.1677 with Elements 2024.  It always starts with the Adobe-defined default adjustments (mostly zeroes).  I want to change a few adjustments to start with something other that what the fine folks at Adobe chose for me.  The feature "apply previous settings" does not accomplish what I want, because the last raw photo I opened frequently had some unique adjustment that I don't want to apply to subsequent photos.  What am I missing?

Hi AllI have a question.ADOBE ELEMENTS 2024 TEXT OPACITY DEFAULTS TO 50% EVEN WHEN I SET TO 100% WHY. on my return its 50% again.My previous Elements always stayed at 100% Opacity when I set it. Am I missing a setting ?RegardsKen 

Hi,I am having an issue with Elements stuck in all caps when trying to enter new text. I've tried the steps of resetting the preferences and also resetting the tools. This didn't work for me at all.What else can I do to resolve this?Your help is sincerely appreciated as I am working on a deadline.Thanks!-Mike

Ich habe den gleichen Fehler mit PSE 2022 gehabt und dieser tritt mit PSE 2024 wieder auf. Sobald ich den Organzior beendet kann er nicht mehr erneut gestartet werden. Der Prozess (obwohl ordentlich beendet) ist weitehrin im Taskmgr aktiv und muss dort erst gelöscht werden damit PSE 2024 neu gestartet werden kann. Mein OS ist Windows 11 Pro neuester Patchstand.

I am trying to open Canon RAW files created on a Canon R100 which have a .CR3 extension in Photoshop Elements V. 19 from 2021.  When I click on Open Camera Raw in the Editor, I got the message "Could not complete your request because it is not the right kind of document".  When I looked at the menu in Help/About Plus-Ins/ Camera Raw, I seen that ACR v. 13.0.0.612 is installed.  So I go to the Adobe website and download and run the installation wizard for v. 15.5; it completes installation.   After installation it is the same ACR version as before, and get the same massage.  What's going wrong?

Hi Everybody.I am buying a Panasonic Lumix DG- G9 Mk2 camera.Will my Elements 2020 work with the G9 Mk2, or will I have to upgrade to Elements 2024 ?Adobe Camera Raw in my Elements 2020 is version 12.Thank you for your reply'sRegardsKen 

De standaard printer (HP Officejet 9010) staat wel benoemd in het printermenu, maar ik krijg als foutmelding dat de standaardprinter niet wordt gevonden. Bij alle andere software werkt de printer normaal. Ook met Adobe reader werkt de printer goed.Heeft iemand een oplossing? De laatste updates van de printer en driver zijn geïnstalleerd. Ik werk met windows11

I purchased a Dell XPS 9345 laptop that has a Snapdragon X Elite X1E80100 CPU. Elements 2024 fails with Error 16. Does Elements 2024 work on this system? If Elements 2024 doesn't work, any estimated date on when it will? If Elements 2024 does work on this system, any tips on how to get past Error 16 appreciated.

After I've worked on a photo, there forms a listing  of "previously edited files list" how do I delete these files? 

I went into Elements 10 to find some photos and was suppised that the program did not launch and required a up file update.  Then all my folders pictures are gone.  I have never attmpted to organize anything I bought a used copy of elements 10 and spent days trying to do so.  Now its all gone and to be honest I'm not sure if the photos are deleted or if its just the link to them for Elements are deleted.  Can somebody tell me how this program works?

HelloWhen I open a single RW2 file I have no problems, but when I try to do the same with more than one file, the program crashes. It's the same if there are 2 or 20. A few weeks ago, I could open group files of that type without problems. Does anyone know what this is due to? Thank you so much.

I added a Place to a picture.  When I go to the Places menu I see a map and the picture is pinned where I want it.  When I click on the picture, under Image Tags it has the Country and City of the picture.  When I click on the Search bar, I can search for the Country or the City.  All seems to work well.Then, still under Search, down the left side there is Tags, People, Places, Calendar, etc.  I click on Places and it says, "There are no Places tags assigned to your media.How can it be that when I select a picture, I see places in the Image tags but then Adobe Elements Organizer says there are no Places tags.  It makes no sense to me.What am I missing???

I have PSE 11.0 and want to update to PSE 11.4 to have camera raw. Can I do this? How?

Bonjour à tous !Je viens d'installer Organizer Elements pour mettre de l'ordre dans mes photos. Le problème, c'est que j'ai énormément de doublons. Soyons clairs, c'est un problème antérieur à l'installation d'Organizer : sur mon ordinateur j'ai par exemple un dossier (j'insiste sur ce terme) USA reprenant toutes mes photos de vacances aux USA. L'ennui, c'est que j'ai aussi un dossier dossier best of USA et un dossier best of 2012. Les fichiers (j'insiste sur ce terme) jpg  des meilleures photos prises aux USA sont donc en trois exemplaires : un dans le dossier USA, un autre dans le dossier best of USA et un troisième dans le dossier best of 2012. Je sais bien que c'est n'importe quoi, mais j'étais jeune en 2012...J'imagine que l'idéal serait d'avoir dans Organizer un album USA, un album best of USA et un album best of 2012. Je pourrais aussi utiliser des étiquettes, mais je pense que les alb

I just got a HP 360 computer and Surface 2.0 pen.  It works great with the full version of Photoshop and other programs and it has pressure sensitivity with every other program I have tried.  However in Photoshop Elements 2024 the pen does not have pressure sensitivity and also if I try to write in the top left corner of the screen the pen does not work at all.  Is there any settings I need to change to make it work?  FYI, I have tried the 2021 program an older Surface, and it also does not work with the old Surface pen.  

I can't figure out how to get the pen tool in my photoshop. I've been looking up help on this and can't seem to figure it out.

Hey everyone, I'm trying to open some shut eyes in a photo of my daughter but keep getting an error stating "no faces found in photo".  I realize she's wearing a beanie, but is that really enough to throw the system off from being able to make this edit?  If so, that seems like a pretty big limitation, but are there any other ways to work around it and still edit the eyes open?

when I open my PSE 2024 (latest version, just updated) on Windows 11 PC, and then go on to Organizer, it opens, and I can scroll thru my fotos, but I can't open any menu, and I've got 10 FPS. When I open the Editor, all works fine. All my software is updated, and my PC has got 32GB of RAM, and I checked the Adobe recommendations on performance settings. 

Hi All,I have a handwritten note from my Dad that has been scanned into a jpeg. I want to remove all the white space around the letters so I can print it on colored paper. I don't want the white box around the words. I also want to be able to change the color of the writing. I'm using Photshop Elements 14. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

When I run a search in the Photoshop Elements 2024 Organizer, I can select pictures from the results (checkmarks appear), but my File menu is grayed out so I can't save my selected pictures. The File menu does work normally outside of Search.This is similar to a problem I had with the menu in general until I learned that you will get this problem if you autohide your taskbar. I am not autohiding my taskbar, and aside from the search results do not have any problem with the File menu or anything else.I have restarted Elements, I have rebooted my computer, I have updated my drivers. Nothing seems to work. I run Windows 11, on a Dell XPS 8940,11th Gen Intel i7-11700, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER graphics card.Normal menu Menu with search results People have had problems similar to this one, but not close enough to be helpful. I’m wondering if anyone else has encountered it, and if they have,  how they solved it.
