Hello everyone!  Adobe Dimension 4.0 is now available for download from Creative Cloud!   Adobe Dimension 4.0 is being updated to incorporate some of the same underlying code components as Adobe Substance 3D Stager, particularly in areas like rendering, lighting, and material handling. This update puts Dimension on a more modern and maintainable codebase, ensuring the application is more stable and secure for users.   Digitalization has been in the forefront of reducing paper use for a long time. These days, it’s rare to find an organization that doesn’t have a digitalization strategy. However, organizations often face challenges with implementation.      Printed to become a waste problem  Almost every paper used in the office today turns into tomorrow´s waste problem. While recycling paper certainly helps, it’s only a treatment for the symptom, which can almost always be avoided. Moreover, when running a company in 2024, the benefits of becoming paperless can be critical to its success.     The International Chamber of Commerce estimating that 4 billion paper documents are moving through the global trade system daily. It is clear that we are far from being paperless as a global society. Managing paper physically is costly. Research indicates that the average cost to file a single document is about $20, $120 to find a misplaced document, and $220 to reproduce a lost document. In Germany, paper consumption in 2021 was at 19 million tons with 31% being related to the graphic and office sector. Over the last 20 years, Germany has only managed to reduce this by 40%, often because the “print” button continues to be used without much consideration. Naturally, no office is 100% paperless - a few notes in a paper-based notebook or the physical calendars on desks are not the main drivers. Instead, the paperless approach focuses on the cases, where going digital just makes sense. Organizations that go paperless can clearly demonstrate an impact on sustainability with a reduced carbon footprint.     Save time and resources   Digitalization of documents is not just helpful for a more sustainable future, but it also drives efficiency and time-savings, such as 28% faster cycle times and $6 savings per signed document. Starting from the creation of contracts or forms, such as invoices or delivery notes. The use of paper often just kicks off after creating and editing digitally. The approved forms and contracts are provided to different point of sales, to be printed by the employees, filled, and signed by customers or suppliers. All this just to then collect and mail many paper-based contracts, with hundreds of pages, with at least two copies out for counter signatures, and lastly storing them in a physical archive.    Process documents digitally end-to-end   By integrating document tools from Adobe, this effort and tons of paper can be saved very easily. Starting from creating, editing, sharing, and collaborating documents and creating PDF-files with a few clicks with Adobe Acrobat. Real collaboration starts with interactive document processes. Following through with Acrobat Sign, documents can easily be filled in and signed, or sent for electronic signature with a few clicks. No need for paper or the traditional mail. On the contrary, with Acrobat Sign, organizations can track which signer needs to sign next and remind them to get contracts signed in a few minutes.     Follow the example of the most successful companies   Many organizations understood the benefits of moving to 100% digital document processes. Saving paper, time, and the fact of being able to find documents at any time before, during or after signing processes has sparked excitement across industries.      Industry-leading organizations, such as (Seattle City, IMM & Merck) accelerate contract signatures with the e-signature solution from Adobe. Despite these early adopters, many organizations are yet to transform all their digital document processes into a move away from paper. In some cases, it is caused by doubt about e-signatures and their compliance. This is despite digital solutions usually providing more proof about the actual person signing it than does paper. In times where fraud and identity theft, fake news, and digital risks are increasing, Adobe provides more secure digital solutions for organizations. Acrobat Sign as Adobe´s global platform for e-signatures is integrated with an ecosystem of government and private identity verifications methods. Ready to be used to verify signers at a high level of assurance before they can sign contracts or forms.     High level of security with identity verifying Digital Signatures   Depending on laws and regulations, some contract types, such as EU work contracts or drug approval requests for the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) require higher assurance and with that digital signer certificates to be attached to the digital agreement. The certificates provide proof about the issuing Certificate Authority (CA) and the identity of the signer who will have had verified their identity. This is typically done by an Identity verification provider, which compares provided government-issued Identification Documents (ID), such as National ID cards or Passports, against the actual person. This is usually performed via Video-Identification or novel electronic ID methods, like Bank ID or Bird ID, but can depend on the governing legislation.     The signatures are obtained from the CA and often provided through a Trust Service Provider (TSP) that is integrated with Acrobat Sign, which ensures a smooth signer journey despite additional verification steps. These types of signatures are globally referred to as Digital Signatures, or also known as Advanced (AES) or Qualified Electronic Signatures (QES) in Europe.     Lastly, all electronically signed agreements are sealed in order to avoid any unwanted change without breaking the electronic seal. When opening a signed agreement in Adobe Acrobat, it automatically verifies the signatures and seal to ensure that they are valid, and the document has not been tampered with.     Using an Electronic Seal, instead of the company ink stamp  Documents that do not require signatures are easy to be copied. This is why organizations often revert to a company ink stamp on paper, which is used to proof the authenticity of the document. This ink stamp is more often than not, one of the last use cases for paper in an organization – clearly bound to an individual and unmistakable. However, even this use case can be easily digitized by using Electronic Seals (E-Seals). E-Seals are also issued by TSPs and either part of a manual send for signature operation or can be fully automated using Adobe´s APIs.  The main difference between a seal and a signature is that a signature is meant for individuals (natural persons) to sign & agree to the content of a document, whereas a seal is used by a legal entity (business or organization) to demonstrate origin and authenticity of the document. E-seals can be applied by more than one person or system under the control or supervision of the legal entity.    Trust in Identity  To sum up, the paperless office often requires enough trust in the technical solution, but also its participants and their identities to become fully digital. Without secure verifications and trust, organizations and their processes remain vulnerable. That is why suppliers and customers are displaying an increased interest in collaborating with organizations that secure their processes. With the help of Adobe´s Trust and Identity Services, documents can be securely signed to ensure compliance with European and global standards and regulations like eIDAS, US ESIGN Act or the Mexican Federal Civil & Commerce Code. With the growing use of worldwide accepted digital identity standards, Adobe is a trusted advisor and partner for digital document processes.

Discover improvements based on your feedback Open a specific page from your PDF file When opening a PDF file in Illustrator, you now have the choice to import the exact page displayed in the preview. Easily navigate through the preview pages to locate and open the specific page you require. Export Illustrator files as PDF Now in Illustrator, exporting as PDF is straightforward. Navigate to File > Export > Export As and choose PDF from the drop-down menu. Customize your settings using either default options or personalized presets. Ability to copy names of missing links Now, you can easily copy the names of linked files by selecting Links panel menu > Copy Info. With this copied information, effortlessly locate or modify the files on your computer. The team is excited to announce that Bullets and Numbers in Ps Desktop has been released in Photoshop  25.11. What is this and how would I use it?Imagine you're working on a design project and want to add some text, maybe it is a list of essential points or a step-by-step guide. You want these lists to function but also be visually appealing. That's where Photoshops Bullets and Numbering feature comes into play. Why is it important?The Type tool is one of the most used tools in Photoshop, and Bullets and Numbering has been one of the most requested features in the Adobe Community. Photoshop customers want a quick easy way to format a paragraph where each paragraph return becomes a bullet or numbered list item.Earlier Photoshop customers were creating bulleted points using glyphs and had to add them manually paragraph by paragraph. We hope with this addition the process will be an easier and more fluid workflow. Select Horizontal Type Tool or Vertical Type Tool in the Tools panel to create a text layer. Select the text layer or place the cursor into the text frame to create a list. Go to Properties panel > Bullets and Numbering and select Bulleted list button or Numbered list button to apply the list style. You can also go to Paragraph panel (Window > Paragraph) and select the Bulleted List button or Numbered List button to apply the list style. To continue the list in the next paragraph, move the insertion point to the end of the list and press Enter or Return. Photoshop uses auto-detection of lists when you create any sequence of lists using the keyboard like 1. or 1) or A. or A) followed by <space>.  You can choose to disable auto-detection of lists. To do so, deselect the Preferences > Type > Automatic detection of Bulleted and Numbered lists while typing preference. Customize bullets You can create custom bullets by using the keyboard as follows: * <space> # <space> > <space> + <space> Format the lists Use keyboard shortcuts such as tab or shift + tab to move to the next or previous indentation levels, respectively.   We hope you find this addition to Photoshop useful and as always appreciate your feedback and any ideas to improve it.   Thanks, Cory - Photoshop Product Manager

We are excited to announce the first implementation of Content Credentials in Premiere Pro and Media Encoder! This implementation aims to support transparency about the usage of Adobe’s generative AI features such as (Adobe Firefly).     Content Credentials are a new kind of tamper-evident metadata. They enable creators to add extra information about themselves and their creative process directly to their content at export or download. This information allows creators to receive more recognition for their work, connect with others online, and enhance transparency for their audience.     Content Credentials are part of a growing ecosystem of technologies available through the Content Authenticity Initiative (CAI). Adobe, along with our 2500+ CAI members, is dedicated to restoring trust online by creating a standard way to share digital content without losing key contextual details such as who made it and when and how it was created.     What’s new: When exporting a Premiere Pro sequence that contains one or more Adobe AI generated assets, either directly from Premiere Pro or through Media Encoder, both applications will now display a notification that Content Credentials will be included in the exported assets for supported formats. Currently, these formats are:  MP4  QuickTime MOV  AVI  WAV  MP3  JPEG  PNG  TIFF     You can read more about this feature on our support page here.   Introducing SMS Delivery for Agreements  In March 2024, Adobe Acrobat Sign announced the general availability of SMS delivery, enabling senders to notify recipients of agreements via SMS. As consumer behavior shifts towards mobile access for critical information, traditional methods like email or physical paperwork often cause delays. SMS delivery offers a quicker, more efficient solution, making it easier to obtain signatures promptly. With nearly everyone having a mobile phone, this method is both flexible and convenient.    Customers face significant challenges that SMS delivery can solve:  Expanding Reach: Customers often need to obtain signatures quickly while on the go. For example, in retail, customers can sign agreements for financing or warranty services at the point of sale via SMS, enabling a seamless experience and speeding up the checkout process.  Unknown/Outdated Email Addresses: Sometimes, email addresses of recipients are unknown or outdated. For example, Field Service Technicians on the go can use SMS to obtain customer signatures on work orders ensuring efficient communication and timely completion.  Time-Sensitive Agreements: Some agreements are critical and require swift signatures. For instance, a finance company finalizing a loan agreement with a tight deadline can use SMS delivery to secure signatures quickly, avoiding potential financial losses due to delays.    The Benefits of SMS Agreement Delivery  Convenience: Agreements notifications are delivered directly to recipients' mobile devices, making it easy for them to sign without needing to chase emails or worry about email policies.  Speed: SMS delivery accelerates the agreement process, allowing for faster deal closures and improved efficiency.  Flexibility: With real-time notifications, recipients can be reached wherever they are in the way they prefer, especially if they do not have access to their computers.    How to enable SMS delivery on Acrobat Sign  Administrators can access the controls for this feature by navigating to Send Settings and selecting "Send Agreement Notifications through":      When the setting is enabled, the sender is given control over how the links are delivered. By default, Email is selected, and SMS is disabled.      When the SMS link setting is enabled, senders can choose to send agreement links via email, SMS, or both. If SMS is selected, the sender must provide a phone number.  Selecting only Email means the recipient's email is used to send the links, with no changes required.  Selecting only SMS updates the recipient record to include a phone number field. The country code can be chosen from the dropdown next to the phone number field.  Selecting both options updates the recipient record to include an additional phone number field, which is mandatory.    SMS links are configured for each recipient individually. Ad hoc recipient groups are supported, with each member needing to be configured individually, and all group members will be notified according to their configuration.      Recipients Experience  Recipients will receive text message notifications throughout the process. The first message will contain a link to the agreement, allowing the recipient to view and complete the agreement. Once the agreement is completed, the recipient will receive an additional text message confirming the agreement has been completed.      How to delegate to another recipients   Recipients may wish to delegate to another individual. However, they cannot change the delivery method. For example, if the agreement was sent via SMS only, the recipient can delegate to a new recipient only by providing the new recipient's phone number.    Note: Delegation through SMS Delivery will be supported in the September 2024 release.    Other capabilities available to the sender:   Named/Reusable recipient groups.   Replace a recipient.  Update delivery method after sending.  Availability on the new send compose page.  Send reminders.  Note: Features (1-4) will be supported in the September 2024 release    Embrace SMS Delivery Today  The business landscape is evolving, and adopting modern technologies is crucial for staying competitive.
