I want to create Graphs and charts as per the input raster images using Concept to vector option, and will it support and in addition to that can i map any specific template as a requirement to create a new vector graph

I am updating an old document and the color palette shows the PMS colors with CMYK preview. This is “probably” all right but when I use Pantone Connect to add the colors again using the spot color, they won’t update. I can add a new PMS color but I’ve tried putting the art into a new document, making a color swatch in a blank document, and several other options and nothing is work. In the screenshot below, the Pantone colors on top are what were already in the document (2016) and the CMYK equivalent is what happens when I click on Add to Swatch from Pantone Connect but the color below (PANTONE 4072 C) adds as I would like these other colors to be in the document (see preview icon on the right).Any idea what might be happening here? The document is CMYK but that shouldn’t prevent me from adding PMS colors to it (at least, it never has before). 

I would like to type in a box of a particular width, and for text that spills over this to automatically move below it, just like when you run out of space at the edge of the page in microsoft word and the like. When I change the size of my text box it changes the scale of the font and if I make a return to make it appear as though it has done what I want, the return is so large that it looks weird. Is there an easy solution?

In the past, when I was using earlier AI versions than CS5 it was no problem to warp text and then create the outlines of the text. Now, the option “create outlines” disappears when I do right-click on the warped text.Lots of thanks in advance for your help!!!

I have an illustrator file of paths.  It is similar to a coloring book as I want to create black fill “inside” the lines.  My problem is illustrator is “seeing” the path as whats outside of the lines, basically reversing the negative and positive.  If I select a path, it creates a fill outside the lines, not inside… I must be missing something… thank you in advance for any help...

I downloaded Illustrator today, though I've used the program a while back.No matter which tool I select, be it shape, brush, move, anything, the symbol which appears at the cursor is a pencil and a circle with a line through it below it. When I click with this tool nothing appears and an error sound occurs.My layers are visible and unlocked. I have selected a color with full opacity. I have created new layers, new documents, restarted illustrator. No tool will create any effect whatsoever. I can't select, move, paint, etc. it just shows the same pencil error symbol.I'm using a Huion 610 tablet which runs a tablet driver in the background. However the problem is identical when I use the mouse instead.I hope there's a viable solution.

Hi, I am making the printable region on my license plate frame in Illustrator. However I am stuck at the rounded corners on top an bottom. I have drawn the rectangle print area for the frame on top, bottom and on both sides however at the rounded corners I am unable to draw or merge the print area. I want to use the vector artwork in the print regions. I will be using Pattern swatch for it. I want to have 4 different print regions like Top, bottom, left and right side of the frame. I have tried Shape Builder, Live Paint and tried to manually draw the area using Pen tool. Could any one help me to resolve the issue? I have attached the Illustrator file for the reference. I have also attached the vector art which I would be using.Thanks,Nusrath

I am working on a big 6 foot by 8 foot project. It is large, yes, but Illustrator never gave me issues with these kind of files.Whenever I save the file, locally, on my laptop, I then re-open it to a state that is not what I left it in. It’s blank, only showing a 5th of all the elements I designed. It is infuriating.Fix it plz

Hi everyone!I'm trying to recreate the attached poster in Adobe Illustrator.My main issue isn't creating the two blurred ellipses, but reproducing the smooth "fusion" area where they overlap. I tried using Blend, Gaussian Blur and Opacity Masks, but I can't achieve the same organic transition.Does anyone recognize the technique used here?Was this created entirely in Illustrator, or was it more likely made in Photoshop, using metaballs, or even in a 3D application?Any suggestions or tutorials would be greatly appreciated, thank youAlessandro  

I dont know what the devs have done because it used to be really easy to use.Now if I have an image and a vector shape, illustrator has a really hard time creating a mock up using those two assets. Regardless whether I select the shape first or the image.I have a poster design (both in svg and jpeg), and an image of a poster stand (jpeg).I wanted to put the design onto the poster stand. simple. nothing more nothing less.But for whatever reason, illustrator never selects the poster design.The result is a mashed up white vector used from the stand image.After trying so many times it began too freeze and I had to force quit the application.I have attached 3 screenshots.A screen shot of the design and stand.A screen shot of the design and stand with a vector shape used for the mockup.A screen shot of the result.

I have a line with an arrowhead. I would like it to have a smooth gradient along the stroke and through the end of the arrowhead. When I apply the gradient to the stroke, the gradient does not persist through the arrowhead (see attached photos). I could make this work by expanding the appearance of the shape etc., but I’d rather have a more elegant/editable solution. Ladies and gentlemen,I would like to ask for your help.While working in Illustrator, an error suddenly occurs with the Direct Selection tool. It becomes impossible to select objects, and anchor points are not displayed; the objects cannot be manipulated. This happens repeatedly, making it impossible to continue working on the file. I would like to know how to resolve this error and how to fix a file damaged in this way. I am working on Windows 11. I would be grateful for any advice. Unfortunately, it is impossible to work with this error.

Since Illustrator 26, the top menu will not appear when I start the app. I have to quit Illustrator and start it again before it appears. Illustrator is the only app with this behaviour. It started right after I installed version 26. Is there anyone with the same problem? Is there a known fix?Much obliged!I work on a MacBook Pro 16" 2019, MacOS 26.5.2 (latest version Tahoe) 

I’ve always had the glitch where if I change the name of a folder - if it's already a shortcut in my Mac OS Finder window it doesn’t change. It keeps the old folder name. Weirdly I just did that today and rather than drag the folder out and then drag it back in again, to get it to update, I just left it. Then I noticed this weird thing happening. When I’m in Illustrator and hit save, the folder name has the new updated name. But then when I leave illustrator and look at my Finder window the folder has the old name. I took screenshots of both (the old name had ‘Craig’ in it). Whats goings on here then? Why is it different?  

HiIve got the same Issue with Illustrator and with my Mac I can ONLY update to 29.5.1.I bring in Tiif files and they disappear or make black lines! I have to keep redoing work. Now Im forced to only use Photoshop for most of my work.So you only fixing it now with the new update? I cannot afford to buy a New MAC now just to be able to work in Illustrator. Im paying for Illustrator and my Mac is not so old. Is there any way they can fix 29.5.1 which a lot of people are using? 2 of My co-workers got the same problem,

I'm currently using Illustrator 2025 (29.8.2) on a Windows 10 device (Dell Precision with i7 chip, 16GB RAM and NVIDIA T1200) and noticed that after a while of using the app, I was getting severe lag when trying to do anything. Even trying to close Illustrator after the lagging started could take up to two or three minutes. After looking at advice from others, I remove all the tool tips and contextual options (all redundant to me anyway) and tried opening the app from the Adobe Cloud Desktop app, rather than from the start menu, but again, after a while, it would start to heavily lag. All drivers were up to date. I was baffled by this until I realised that the lag was occurring immediately after I was creating a new link within the Share for Review (SfR) option or clicking the 'Update content' option. I use SfR within Indesign on a daily basis because I'm working on projects with multiple staff across remote sites, so it's an incredibly handy tool, and have started to use it

Hello! I've been encountering this issue where my libraries panel is entirely unresponsive. I have the most updated version of Illustrator, but this has happened through several updates. For some reason, my library is not responsive to scrolling. It will stretch out as if it was an image if I were to try to pull the panel down to make it larger (see image below). This is frustrating since I keep all of my client color palettes here, and kinda defeats the purpose of creating a library for them since I can't access it. Anyone else encounter the same issue?

Hi All!  I'm having an issue when using a Tamil font where there is a small circle with dots that appears in the middle of glpyh. This typeface is Akhand Tamil from Adobe fonts and when I enter the same line of text in the font preview for Adobe fonts it looks perfectly normal. However, when using illustrator it gives me this circle. I have already gone into the type settings and turned on "Show Indic Options" as well as changed the language to Tamil in the Characters panel.  Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a solution? 

Hi there,suddenly and with no apparent reasons - my default type settings in illustrator 2020 are Arabic (RTL and Hindi digits ect etc) as per images attached  I'm living and working in UAE - but my language has always been set as English UK in the settng panel preferences and never had an issue before. Now i have to set manually the text tool everytime i want to use it - super annoying! Does anyone know how to set English as default  Thanks, Max 

I am having trouble with the word "shree - श्री "in illustrator. When I type this work in any program besides illustrator it displays the word correctly. As soon as I bring it into illustrator the word changes the characters within the word. I have attached screenshots of the word in two programs (Word and Illustrator) using the same font. Please help!  

AI 30.3, recently updated. When i open a file and then go to ‘export for screen’, in the first window the path to export is correct (path where the file is located):but if i need to put the exported file in a sub folder, for example, and open the folder icon, then the path is whatever path i last used: Do other have had this issue? I tried resetting preferences.

Hey, shouldn’t this say ‘Shift+Click to select multiple objects’?

I have a very complex compound path and want to use a path to cut portions of the compound path while it’s isolated. I have not found any of the path finder buttons capable of doing what I want. I’ve included a mockup image that describes my problem. It’s a square with multiple empty circles within. At some points, I may want to modify just one of those ‘empty’ circles in a very specific way without interfering with the rest of them in the one compound path. How can I use one shape to modify another without interfering with the other overlapping shapes? Keeping in mind this is one compound path that I don’t feel comfortable releasing. In the mockup on the left you see three circles with one overlapping in the middle. The overlapping circle is a duplicate of one of the other empty circles -- that I created while in isolate compound path. I want the overlapping circle to modify the lower circle without affecting the upper one. The right image shows the result I’d like to achieve, but I’v
