Bonjour a tous,  j'ai un soucis et je ne trouve nul part de réponse.voila, je suis sur un projet Illustrator, je fais un dégradé du blanc au bleu, mais il apparait entre les deux une sorte de rose.Alors que sur photoshop le dégradé se fait correctement sans présence d'un résidu rose.je travail en CMJN sur les deux coté. merci de votre aide 😉 Sam. 

On MacOS I've been used to `opt` + `arrow` for increasing / decreasing tracking and leading. But it seems to have disappeared with the same update that killed the `cmd` + `k` for keyboard increment. I've updated to 29.8, that brought back the latter, but the other has gone. To check if it were any other app, I've booted and run Illustrator as the only app or plugin, and it still doesn't work. I'm on MacOS 15.6.1 (24G90). Any suggestions?

I just installed Illustrator v29.4 and created documents very quickly. However, after restarting my computer, Illustrator created documents very slowly, taking about two minutes. After creating, the entire window shrank together.

I am trying to place a jpg with a clipping mask (created in photoshop) into illustrator. The clipping path is not coming over with the file. What am I missing?

Goal: I want to translate text within an .eps file.Currently, To achieve the goal I’m using an ExtendScript/JSX script, but it has to be run manually in Illustrator via File → Scripts → Other Script → select .jsx file.Query: Can this process be automated so it runs without requiring Adobe Illustrator to be installed? Is there any API available for this? 

Hello, Illustrator community! Maybe a clever mind out there knows how to do this. When creating print files from variables and data sets, is there a way to make sure the file name output is a variable? I would be great to use the file name from each data set to be named the same as the "filename" column and not as Data set 1, Data set 2, etc.  Example:ORG_1122.pdfORG_1133.pdfORG_1144.pdfORG_2211.pdf Br

 The print on the right is scaled as expected... the image was printed on US Letter paper The print on the left is printing the same image on 2.5x3.5 inch paper... note that it for some reason I don't understand it has scaled up a bit.. how do I figure out why this is happening and stop it so it prints unscaled.  

Hi guys, I'm having trouble with the illustrator app. The problem is that when I open any file and do some changes the saving process doesnt run. It just stays with the " * "  in the file tab as if its saved yet. It only happens in Illustrator.... PS, AF, etc work good. I tried to uninstall ann install it again but it keeps happening. If anyone knows how to fix it let me know. Thank you.

Will Artificial intelligence make Adobe Illustrator redundant in the future?

The keyboard shortcut for Create Outlines doesn't work.I need to use the menu Type/ Create Outlines. It's really annoying.I've tried to change the shortcut, open another document, but nothing worked. The other shortcuts using Ctrl and Shift work (like Ctrl + for zoom...).Usually, I select all the artwork (Ctrl + A) then Ctrl + Shift + O to Create Outlines. It doesn't work.Started at least a month ago.I'm using Illustrator CC, the most updated one.Could someone help me? Thank you!

@Monika GauseIs the function of this same? . Time is around 8.19 Selecting? Targeting? Why Does That Even Matter in Illustrator? Activation of "Round Corners 2" make fill & stroke tool in tool bar, white & black that means similar to pressing "D" key. 

Create mock up taking more time and could not finish the mockup. Please help me out in this matter

Hi there,I’ve never come across this issue before, but when I opened my Illustrator file, a bunch of white boxes appeared. They’re uneditable, and I can’t seem to delete them. I’ve already tried expanding the appearance of the hills and rasterizing, but nothing works, the white boxes don’t become selectable or removable.Do you know what might be causing this, or how I can fix it?  

Hi all, I need you help today. I have received a multi page pdf file which contains a design to be laser engraved to a trophy.Unfortunately, I'm not able to only export the visible part of each artboard. Each time I try to export to svg, it exports all the objects on the document. There are a lot of clipping masks and hidden objects in the pdf, which I cannot hide from the export. Image shows how the pdf is imported.I only want the visible parts to be exported as svg.As you can see, there are hidden paths, clipping masks and objects:If I export the pdf to svg and use the "Artboard" option, it always exports all objects within the pdf. Is there any option to only export the visible part of each page in the pdf?I cannot remove or clip / crop each single part of the pdf as this would take forever.I will receive more than 30 different pdfs with this content.ThanksDaniel

Was working on a complex file and knew that my next move was risky so I saved my file. A few minutes later after the file has saved I did a little too much and somehow lost the saved file as well. HOW? I actually have a screenshot showing the file with the saved file name from before the crash and now its completely gone. Im sorry but paid adobe products are absolute garbage in 2025 and pirated versions work way better and never crash.

I was able to complete this on one image but when I saved and went back to this project again to complete it with another image, it wont work. The image still has a harsh edge compared to flawlessly disapearing. I did all the same steps and I looked at each of the settings and I can't solve this problem.  

First time creating slices in AI for an email to export for web. I want to edit my bounding box for slices and it is very frustrating, it not working seamlessly. It automatically creates another slice and then I cannot edit that bounding box. It is so glitchy too, will not adjust the box to the graphic. I just received a notification for increase in monthly subscription and for what, I cannot do a simple email slice. Ughhh

I would love to see a keystroke or toggle for the "Scale Strokes and Effects" option.  Currently I have to open preferences every time I want to change it.  Im constantly turning it on and off, it would be great if it was easier....

So I have a menu in Illustrator. I'm trying to have equal spacing on top and bottom of the text. Is there any way to that? I tried the Distribute object however, my text moves at the center of the artboard. Please help! Thank you! 

I'm trying to import boards from PS to AI - the artboards in PS contain a mixture of vectors, and vectors from AI embedded as Smart Objects.  I have tried:- Opening the PSD file in AI - error- Selecting paths and selecting Export paths to illustrator - does not work- Saving PSD as PDF and opening in Illustrator - most vectors are raster (probably because they are smart objects)- Dragging and dropping - no luck- Copy and pasting - no luck Is there a solution? If not, is there an equivalent of Overlord plugin (AI to AE) or AEUX plugin (Figma to AE) but for PS to AI?

Short version first.  I need to export my layers into SVG 1.1, which seems to be the only setting not available when I export.  I'm importing these into PE Design 11. If I open each exported SVG individually (There are about 200 of them so far) and save them as SVG 1.1, PE Design recognizes them.  All the same settings on Export (Except version which there is no option to select), and PE Design gives me an unsupported error. My settings (Aside from version) are, Styling: Presentation Attributes, Font: Convert to Outlines (All my fonts are already converted, but just in case), Images: Link, Object ID: Layer Name, Decimals: 4, both Minify and Responsive are disabled.  It works when I save, but not when I export. I'm not opposed to using scripts, or third party plugins if any are available, or if someone can put me in the basic direction of writing my own script (I'm not much of a coder, but I know enough to be dangerous). Thanks for any help you gu
