Bonjour,Apres avoir cherché je ne trouve pas de réponse à ma question...Apres avoir crée différents fichiers pour un magazine, je les réunis dans un livre pour me faire une sauvegarde post bouclage.Le probleme c'est que j'aimerai bien que ces fichiers réunis dans ce livre Indesign "de sauvegarde", soient classés par ordre croissant en fonction des folios attribués à chacun des fichiers. Savez-vous si c'est moi qui suis aveugle ou s'il existe une solution pour ce classement en fonction des folios ?Par avance merci !

Hi, When i import a pdf with corrections in an Indesign file, sometimes the corrections are not in the right place. For example see pictures right and wrong. The imported pdf correction shows text to be deleted on page 171, when in fact it should be text deleted on page 172. Right is as the pdf in acrobat shows it, wrong is as indesign shows it when pdf is imported. Also when a correction shows a space between to letters is to be added, the actual correction is shown one letter to the right. For example gohome needs to be go home, then the pdf shows a correction after the H instead of before the H.   Anyone alse experienced this?     <Title renamed by MOD>

Hi there.On Ps and Ai I use the keyboard shortcuts "command+h" to hide the the guides.But it doesn't work on Id, while I go into setting keyboard shortcuts.I went on setting keyboard shortcuts (Edit > Keyboard shortcuts > View menu > Grids and guides : show guides). Here I enter the new keyboard shortcut I want (Comm+h) but it doesn't works.Instead, this shortcut "hides the application".Looks like he's like that Is it possible to change this?Thank you 🙂

Hi, I exported pdf file from indesign and same pdf file i am uploading to the wordpress based website. The file opens up with pdf with no issues but it shows ".indd" file as extension instead of ".pdf" extension.   Please help to resolve this issue.   Thanks, Jyoti Raj      <Title renamed by MOD>

Hello! I noticed that the text bounding box in Indesign's latest version is now "stretchable" when I try to adjust the box size. If you don't know what I'm talking about, basically if you try to shorten or enlarge the box to rearrange the text inside, the text inside will sometimes stretch like a vector. I know I can still do both things by adjusting the box size but I have to keep trying it out because I have no idea what are the commands or the rule. Does anybody know how to remove this feature? Or to at least tell me how it works and what keyboard commands allow me to only adjust the box size and not stretch the text inside? Thank you! 

I am trying to place a video into InDesign 19.4. I create an image box and place the mp4 or gif but it does not load. Can you walk me through it? I work with Adobe InDesign and other Adobe software, and I pay for the Adobe subscription. Why is the option that used to be there now missing?!!!! Where did the RTL (Right to Left) option go? Are you only accurate and precise when it comes to charging us at the end of the subscription period? You send thousands of notifications and emails asking us to renew our subscription, but you don't see the other messages and requests? Trying to export a reflowable epub with multiple paragraph styles. A few have borders and use different paragraph styles but all need one border around multiple styles instead of breaking them up into separate boxes.   <Title renamed by MOD>

Is there a way to get the selected answer in a combo box in InDesign to change the cell colour in a table when exported to PDF? For example, my list is: Completed, In Progress, Not Started. I'd like the box or cell to change to green when Completed is selected, amber for In Progress and red for Not Started in the PDF. My Toolbox panel in InDesign is frozen. All the tools are visible but I can't use any of them. The text tool is highlighted, all the others are grayed out.

For weeks now my InDesign text has been displaying as low resolution pixelated text (see screenshot below). In preferences my Display is all high quality and images are displaying fine, although now as High Quality as I would like, however this text, and any vectors / EPS files placed also look pixelated or un-rendered. Any advice on how to fix this? Seems to be in every single document I use or open now and is very frustrating! Have tried uninstalling and re-installing InDesign but no luck.  Thanks USING: PC Windows 10, latest version of ID

I used to be able to embed video into InDesign, export as Interactive .pdf and watch the embedded video in .pdf brochure.  I understand that .pdf no longer supports Flash player.  I can still embed video H.264 however when I export to Interactive .pdf, the .pdf document says it does not support flash player.H.264 isn't Flash.Can this still be done and if so how?  Thank you!

I am having trouble copy-pasting some Sanskrit text from a word document to my indesign file. Here's a screenshot from the word file. It is in the Nirmal UI typeface—Here's what I get in indesign when I copy and paste it—As you can see, indesign shifts some of the glyphs, especially the "ि" and " ी" by a few spaces. I have tried different typefaces for the word document as well as for the indesign document, but none of them work. I also tried placing the word file as well as a pdf version of the word document inside the indesign document, but it did not solve the issue. A solution which was suggested was to make sure I had the World Ready composer selected under preferences, but that did not help either.

I am working on a form that I am using the Radio Button listed as "024" in the Sample Buttons and Forms panel.   While I have figured out how to get the outside line of the box to be recolored to match the rest of the form:  How do I get the check or "x" mark that is inside the box to also be recolored instead of the boring black that is currently there so that it matches my forms color design.?Is there a way to apply the settings to multiple items at one time?     <Title renamed by MOD>

Hi there,   I am trying to insert pages from an A4 landscape spread as a thumbnail graphic (well, actually about 30% of the original size) into another InDesign A4 portrait spread. Much like we can with Powerpoint when you want the notes pages. I have tried exporting the originals as jpg and png, with various quality and resolution settings, then using the "Place" tool to insert the object, then either scale the object or fit to frame. They all result in blurry or pixelated 'thumbnail' image, unsuitable for printing. Any advice appreciated.     <Title renamed by MOD>

This is a "lazy" question, I know, but how would I go about having the user automatically sent to the corresponding document page when clicking a given index page number? This is an exerpt of what my index currently looks like : I don't think this is possible using the Index feature but I'm not sure how to go about implementing such a navigation aid in InDesign, given that the final destination of the document is an exported interactive PDF?Any help is appreciated.   <Title renamed by MOD>
