Questions

This issue is really affecting my editing workflow.  As I scrolling (right/left) through images on the strip to edit, intermittently the selected photo is not showing on the main editing screen. Somehow it get stuck on the previous photo.  See sample on the photo.  I’ve changed all the preferences to the most efficient and highest performance.  I’m at a total loss… and about to pull my hair out.  I’ve gone to the extreme to update to a high end Windows workstation.  Can someone help me with this issue?The editing photo does not correspond to the selected image for editingLRC 15.3  RAW 18.3Windows 11Intel Ultra 9 285k  32GB memGeforce RTX 5070TiM.2 SSD 1TB  OS, LR catalogs &cacheM.2 SSD 2TB  Photo RAW files

I don't put all the photos i selected in the final book.I would like to be able to select only the used ones, so i can edit only those.Thank you. 

Would it be possible to adjust the text layout for multiple pages at once? If you don't use the standard layout you have to adjust it page by page and frame by frame... 

I'm in Library, Loupe View. I use my arrows on the keyboard left and right to scroll through pictures. Then I hold either key of a couple of seconds and when I release it, the pictures should stop scrolling. However it continues scrolling and very quickly. There is no way to stop it, clicking or escape won't work. Just switching to another program and coming back. This is very annoying as I can't scroll quickly through my pictures. Hi, i have trying to use denoise on my sony arw raw files. they are true raw files but but i cannot denoise them. it keeps coming up with an error message. the error message says failed to apply adjustments to following images. i have a macbook pro m3 pro on macintosh tahoe 26.1 and i have no option to use my gpu acceleration on anything. it says system is incompatible which kind of makes no sense to me as the gpu is fairly powerful

Ich habe ein ungewöhnliches Problem in Lightroom Classic.Ich erstelle einen neuen Katalog und importiere einen Ordner mit Bildern. Im Importfenster werden alle Fotos korrekt angezeigt, und ich kann die Vorschaubilder ganz normal sehen.Sobald ich jedoch auf „Importieren“ klicke, verschwinden die Vorschaubilder in der Bibliotheksansicht. An ihrer Stelle werden nur noch graue Kästchen angezeigt.Die Bilder selbst sind jedoch vorhanden:Die Metadaten werden korrekt angezeigt. Im Entwickeln-Modul werden die Fotos normal angezeigt und können problemlos bearbeitet werden. Die Dateien befinden sich weiterhin am richtigen Speicherort und sind auch im Finder sichtbar.Folgende Punkte habe ich bereits überprüft:Es sind keine Filter aktiv. Es gibt keine Dubletten. Der Ordner ist klein und enthält nur wenige Bilder. Das Problem tritt sofort nach dem Import auf.Es scheint, als würden die Bilder korrekt importiert, jedoch werden die Vorschaubilder in der Bibliotheks-Rasteransicht nicht angezeigt.Können

The application will show in the task manager as a background task, but will not pull up the application window. I have tried updating the app, rebooting the pc and running offline. All with no success 

I'm going to be getting some images in the FITS format. I keep trying to ask Adobe if they have or could recommend a converter, and got nowhere.  Suggestions appreciated. John

When trying to remove something from an image it leaves a white shadow of what was meant to be removed.

I usually create a folder for my images on the hard drive by dragging and dropping from the SD card. Then I open Lightroom and point to that particular folder.

I have built a computer in the past year and have struggled getting the subject and background masking features to work. MY graphics drivers are up to date. I have read that AMD and adobe have had problems in the past and am curious if that is the issue now. Beim Versuch, Fotos in Lightroom Classic zu importieren wurden beim ersten Mal die Vorschaubilder angezeigt und der Fortschrittbalken oben links wurde angezeigt. Der Balken zeigte aber keinen Fortschritt und das Programm fror ein. Bei den nächsten Versuchen wurden auch die Vorschaubilder nicht mehr gezeigt. Ich kopierte dann die Fotos in ein Verzeichnis meiner externen Festplatte und versuchte, die Fotos nicht zu kopieren sondern nur am aktuellen Speicherort zu importieren. Auch das geht nicht.

I’m unable to convert or import from Lr 6.14 catalog. I have optimized etc., removed all links to moved files and else followed every advice I could find. Still no success. I get the following message:Lightroom faced problems, trying to upgrade the format of the catalogfile and can not use this catalog in this version of Lightroom.After this I found various recommendations on using LrC 13.2 of 14.0, to make an intermediate version,  for a final import to LrC 15.3. I managed to install LrC 14.0, repeated the conversion-atempt, but received this message: We’re sorry. Lightroom couldn’t upgrade the catalogfile and can not import from it. You might want to upgrade the catalog, on the direct, by opening i with Lightroom 7. The question is: Where can I find Lightroom 7, and - does any of you have a suggestion to how I should overcome my problem/challenge?RegardsTom KaasenNorway

Hi,Problem with LrC sync. The LrC/Preferences/Lr Sync tab shows Sync Activity list of tens of rows. If sync is paused and then resumed, the process goes on all the time (several days now), but no sync photos can be found nowhere on my MacStudio, Cloud or ext.discs. Managed to sync one collection of 30 photos. After that problem arouse.  How to stop the process and empty the Sync Activity list? Can anybody help?Kerttukaarin

I would like to be able to access my catalog from multiple devices.  How can I do that as I don’t see migrate under the file menu

I’ve been using Lightroom Classic for nearly 20 years now (version 1.0) and have basically kept the same catalog all of these years.  Here recently I used the Smugmug plugin to export some photos to the cloud and I noticed that all of the photos had the keyword “Sheila”.  The only problem is, I removed the “Sheila” keyword from my catalog along time ago.  It’s not in my Keyword list anywhere.  When I select any of the 200,000 photos I have and, in the Library module, view the Keyword Tags → Enter Keywords…. I do NOT see “Sheila”.  However, if I change the Keyword Tags dropdown to “Will Export”, everyone one of them has a tag “Sheila”.  You can’t edit this list.  I’ve tried everything I can to remove.  I’ve even tried exporting a folder that only had 30 or so pictures to its own catalog to see if a new catalog would fix the issue… no luck.Need help on solving this…. the only thing I can think of is that there must be a “root” keyword somewhere and for some reason “Shiela” got set as the

I have also seen a slowdown in Lightroom Classic 15.3.If I leave LR open and step away from the computer, the system will go in sleep mode. Usually moving / clicking the mouse or hitting the Enter key will wake it up. I just started 2 days ago to use Lightroom (after being away for a while) I had to cycle power / reboot  the system 2 times to gain control again. The normal “wake up” steps did not work.Anybody else see this affect?Windows 11 Home, Lightroom Classic 15.3

Hi I purchase Light room 2022 downloaded on my old computer had to replace my PC  and upgrade to windows , can not transfer light room , can you help with taht please , i down loaded the app, i can not even sign in to it  

For years we had the filter toolbar above the strip view where I can directly filter by flagged, label, whatever.Now, this toolbar is just visible for 1 sec after starting LR and then it’s gone.Even if I select “Default Columns” from the filter, it stays empty - and only the “Flagged” or “Rating” selection in the filters dropdown shows a filter (but only the selected one) 

Hello, I haven't been able to find an answer on how to change the default values of the sliders in the presets within the masks. I can only find the option to “Save current settings as new default”I don't want to create a new preset default.Also, how can I delete or rename a mask presets? Regards  

There seems to be a serious incompatibility between Mac OS Sequoia version 15.5 and Lightroom Classic v13-3. I received a message telling me to go to Systems Settings-Privacy and Security - Full Disk Access to enable Full Disk Access for Adobe Lightroom Classic, which I have done but the problem remains. This needs serious attention from Adobe and Apple. I have seen posts from professional users who are unable to work!
