Bonjour,Le logiciel plante de manière aléatoire (5 fois en deux heures aujourd’hui). Je n’arrive plus à travailler c’est un vrai problème très impactant. ça peut arriver même quand je ne fais rien du tout et que le logiciel tourne en tâche de fond.

Using latest version of Lightroom Classic with the Nik Collection 8 set of plugins, however, Silver Efex is causing some issues.After sending the image from LRC to SFX for editing the image sometimes doesn't display in B&W back in Lightroom.Anyone else experiencing these issues? Running a Mac Studio M1, Mac OS 26.4.

When I make selections in Printer Settings (in Printer Options in the Print dialog box) - selecting Media Type or Color Mode, for example - the settings do not stick, that is, after closing and reopening the dialog box, the settings have reverted to defaults. And when I print, some colors are off, suggesting that my settings did not stick after closing the dialog box. BTW I used the appropriate ICC profile and media type for the paper used. I uninstalled/reinstalled Lightroom Classic (saving preferences, etc.) and that did not fix the problem. Can someone please help? Thanks, Steve

Need some help, I am sure its probable my error but some how I "lost" the size adjustment slider on the botom of the grid view screen.  I can still adjust the size with +/- keys, but the bottom of the grid is missing and tab.shift tab... do not bring it back. Thanks Bob 

I have in the past created and used still frames from videos... For some reason I cannot seem to get to my still frames... I see that I have made one and it has it stacked on thee same place as the short video... I used the control click to get to where it gives options like "Unstack" etc.. I have tried clicking many options there to get thee photo to stand alone so I can edit it and export it as a still photo, but to no success. Please help and please be as specific as possible. I am not a brilliant computer person, so screen shots and the like are often very helpful.  Thanks so much for any help you can provide. T

Lightroom Classic 15.2.1 fails to import video files from my Sony a7RV (4K 10-bit HEVC 23.98fps 50Mbps) on my MacBook Pro 14” with M4 Max. The background process dynamiclinkmediaserver (version 24.0.0) crashes immediately upon probing the file, causing an "RPC connection terminated" error (-10001) in the Lightroom output (when I run LrC from Terminal).System environment:Lightroom Classic Version: 15.2.1 (though this has been happening for me since the end of December 2025 using whatever was the latest LrC version at the time) OS: macOS 15.7.4 (Sequoia) Hardware: MacBook Pro 14", Nov 2024 (Mac16,6) with Apple M4 Max chip Camera: Sony a7RV, 3840x2160, 23.98 fps, 10-bit HEVC, 50 Mbps.Steps to reproduce:In LrC, choose File → Import Photos and Video… Select a source folder containing video .MP4 files with the characteristics described above. I tried Lens Blur on a few different images, it seems to super bog down my system, so I end up not using it. The weird thing is, even after I unckeck the "apply" box my system still runs super slow.  If i do anything in develop mode I get the spinnig beach ball, or a super long delay time before seeing the results of whatever I'm doing. For example, if I drag my contrast slider down,  I don't see the slider move to the left unill about 6 seconds after I drag the slider down. -This only happens when working on the images where I auditioned Lens Blur (but end up not using it) How do I fix this? My cumputer info:Chip: Mac M1 MaxMemory: 64 GBmacOS: Sonoma 14.1

I use Lightroom Classic 15.2.1 on Mac Tahoe 26.4. I use a variety of cameras, and this behavior occurs on any of them. My test example was an older photo taken with a Fuji X-T1 in 2014.The behavior occurs in the Library > Rename Photo utility.I have a custom Filename Template that reads data from a Metadata field (I normally use the Headline field) which is pre-populated with my desired final filename. When I open the custom template in the Rename Photo utility, I see the example filename displayed. This information text shows the desired, correct final filename. But when I apply the rename, the filename is instead replaced with an underscore character “_” then a period and the file extension.  Here is a screenshot of the Rename Photo template window, and the example rename of the photo selected:After the renaming option is applied, the file is not renamed.  Instead, the file name is changed to an underscore.  I can reproduce this behavior and can also choose other writeable Metadat

I used the map module before, but the map module hasn't been displaying images for a while now.More specifically: flags are not visible on the map

Sur Lightroom Classic le clic sur le bouton “IMPORTER” entraine l’ouverture d’une animation présentant le tri assisté qui tourne en boucle. La croix de fermeture est sans effet. Il m’est donc impossible d’importer des photos.Merci de m’indiquer la solution.Bien cordialement 

I have researched all possible issues but have not identified a possible yet.  II have checked image mode in PS , shows as RGB, updated my graphics driver, I have uninstalled both PS and LRC, reinstalling has not fixed the issue. In PS I can import a TIFF direct and this is in colour.  It only happens when I select “edit in” from LRC.  

LRC will only import 10-20 ( sometimes more sometimes less as low as 5 and high as 40) pictures at a time before it either crashes my whole computer or just LRC itself. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both LRXC and the graphics card. I have tried creating a new catalog and still crashes. I have the latest updated version of Adobe and graphics card drivers. Also, it leaves behind some temporary files in the folder I am trying to import them too. I am out of ideas and LRC is for the most part unusable.  If you have encountered these issues, have you been able to fix them and what did you do to fix it?

I was using Lightroom v15.2 on my laptop (ASUS ProArt H7604JV, i9-13980HX, 32GB RAM,  RTX4060, Win 11 Home 25H2) when I discovered that the Thunderbolt drivers were no longer installed so I couldn’t connect my second monitor. I attempted to use Windows Update to repair Windows and after the “repair” Lightroom wouldn’t open. With the task manager open I can see that Lightroom opens in background processes but never actually starts. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still nothing. I’ve tried opening backed-up catalogs and nothing. I’m going crazy trying to open lightroom so any help is appreciated!

Import from SD card not working dialogue box IMPORT greyed out. All fields displayed Source, Copy  no duplicates and destination folder..                              worked fine last month

I deleted a few empty folders in Lightroom then I went to export a picture and I got ‘folder creation failure’ soooo what did I do and how can I fix it without losing all my pictures if a reinstall?

I’ve noticed that File Explorer now shows a folder called Gallery.  I understand it’s a new feature.  It contains thumbnails of images that have recently been put in the Pictures folder.  That’s all well and good, even nice.  However, I like to remove clutter and was about to clear the Gallery on the assumption that just the thumbnails will be removes, but thought I’d better check first.  It turns out that deleting the thumbnails also deletes the original in the Pictures folder.  That should strike fear in any photographer that uses the Pictures folder as part of their workflow.  Apparently, deleting the Gallery folder can be done safely without threatening the originals but I’ve yet to try it.So, what do you think?  Has Microsoft inadvertently created a potential photographer’s land mine into File Explorer or have I had too many coffees? 

On version 15.2.1 of Adobe Lightroom classic, I cant get it to use my GPU. My system is a Lenovo P3 ultra with an i9-14900, 32 GB DDR5 and a Nvidia RTA A2000 12GB. I disabled the iGPU in BIOS, and lightroom preferences are set to use the GPU. I’ve tried drivers ranging from latest to two years old, and nothing has worked. My iMac is too old to update my Lightroom CC.  I want to use my laptop from now on.  I have it connected to an external monitorFYI>. My catalog is on my iMac but the photos are on an external hard drive.

On macOS is it possible to create a Keyboard App Shortcut that accesses any of the options in the Masks Panel?I’m specifically interested in creating a keyboard shortcut that “Duplicate and Invert Mask”?I’m sure the answer is no but I thought I would just check… Thanks in Advance - CES   

It is important that I mark this event in the annals of the Adobe Community.  Today I imported my first ever web-pee file.  This happened, almost without warning, after years of screaming for this capability by near-death boomer users of Lightroom Classic.Attached is the actual image file that I imported today.  I appropriated the photo from Google Images and will be exploiting it for my own purposes (now that I can find it again).I have to ask what took so long to implement this seemingly simple thing?  And why all the development time spent on Develop module?  How many aged LRC users do not use Photoshop?  All but one?  Is the one still even with us?For my last wish, why not make something akin to AnyFile plugin an integral part of LRC?  I am lifetime user of AF, but the fake image file thing is laborious and prone to human error.  Firefly could analyze my audio files, for example, and produce a thumbnail preview file without having to build a network of AI satellites in space.  Can

I’m currently looking to get a laptop for mobile editing, as what I currently have (a Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+) chugs on photos from my Sony A1 II (to no one’s surprise) and lightroom for Android doesn’t support the AI Denoise function. I currently use the AI Denoise function on around 150-500 RAW images at a time on my Windows Desktop. I have a budget of around $4000 CAD, which puts me around the price of the 16in M5 Pro MacBook Pro w/ the 48 GB memory upgrade, or I can get a Windows laptop with the following for around $3500 CAD.CPU Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX GPU: Nvidia RTX 5080 Mobile Ram: 32GB DDR5 Storage: 1TB NVME SSD (I will be editing photos off an external SSD, so 1TB should be enough)I also noticed that if I drop down to the 14-inch MacBook Pro, I can get it with the M5 chip for around $2300 CAD.Given all of that, my questions are as follows Is the M5 Pro chip worth it over the base M5 chip, especially when it comes to AI functions like Denoise? Also, is the 48GB memory upgrade
