In this video [time 4.14-6.08] 4 times Marquee Tool is used to get gaps but whether gap dimension is same is questionable. Is there any way to get similar gaps with Marquee Tool? Create a Viral Typography Logo in Photoshop in JUST 10 Minutes! But in Illustrator there is a way to make gap similar. Is it advisable to create this logo in Ai and import the file to Ps?           

When I went to use my complementary credits I get a message, that I have used all my monthly credits. I have not for this month, I do not consume all my complementary credits each month. I have provided two screen shots displaying my subscription credits along with a screen shot showing the the error message.  Please advise

Working in LR -> editing in PS. After finishing processing and saving the work in PS, undeleted files remain in the TEMP space. Only closing PS deletes them. Prolonged work can fill the hard drive. Since I reinstall macOS (26.2) on my macbook Pro (M1 Max 2021 - 32go RAM) Illustrator and Photoshop (maybe all adobe products, didn’t try yet) are acting bad. For photoshop, first start, I get this screen when I try to open a simple PNG… I have 680Gb of brand new free available space and it tells me drives are staurated. How can it be ?

 I have been experiencing this error for a while now. When trying to save for web it stops working and gives the warning "Save for web error" "Could not complete this operation. A writer permissions error has occured."Everytme I tried the different solutions found online and they worked just fine but not this time. Everything was fine yesterday but today it just does not want to write this file. I have tried the following:1) reset preferences2) update photoshop3) Restart photoshop4) Restart system5) Give photoshop a complete write access to the disk6) Checking that file and image sizes are the same7) Trying different formats I am on Photoshop 25.0, please help. 

Hello all! I've spent the past two days pulling my hair on this issue:I have a reasonably powerful laptop (i9 from 2020 and RTX 2070, 32GB of ram, hundreds of GB on scratch disk) and Photoshop generally runs extremely well, except when meta Quest Link (the VR headset app) is installed on my computer. If Meta Quest is installed, even when photoshop is the only thing running, with all Oculus Services turned off in System Configuration, Photoshop is extremely laggy with the most basic of tasks (round brush on a 2k canvas), and draws 100% CPU and GPU for that. This is a PSA since I do graphic design professionally and the past 2 days have been unproductive while I troubleshoot very poor photoshop performance.The short version is that my laptop has an rtx 4070 in it and intel integrated graphics, pretty standard setup. Photoshop can see and correctly selects the 4070, but looking at the utilization, it's not being used at all. Performance was terrible and hardly usable.I tried many things to track down the issue but I finally did. After popping into Illustrator and looking at the list of GPUs in the performance tab I noticed a new display adapter:Meta Virtual Monitorthis is installed when using the quests remote desktop or potentially horizon workrooms. It was installed on my computer without me knowing and was confusing photoshop causing poor performance. Even after everything I did to force my dedicated gpu in photoshop it refused to use it when this display adapter was active.Disabling it in device manager fixed the issue. I hope this help

 I wanted to share a fix in case it helps others, because this issue had me stuck for nearly a month.Photoshop was crashing instantly whenever I tried to open a file (JPG, PSD, TIFF) on Windows 11. Disabling GPU acceleration, resetting preferences, and reinstalling Photoshop did not resolve it.I copied the full Photoshop crash report into ChatGPT to help interpret what was happening. The crash log consistently pointed to a DirectX 12 adapter issue during file open, specifically related to a virtual display driver installed with Meta Quest / Oculus.In my case, the culprit was Meta Virtual Monitor.What resolved it:I uninstalled the Meta Quest / Oculus software from Windows Apps, then opened Device Manager, enabled “Show hidden devices,” and removed the Meta Virtual Monitor entry under Display adapters (making sure the driver was removed). After rebooting, Photoshop opened files normally and has been stable since. Posting this here in case anyone else is experiencing unexplained crashes o

Well I was working good before update. now I can generate content. I have credits, the image is small, I have conection to internet. wath could be the problem?. any help ? thanks!

Hi, I am trying to make repeating shapes from this porcupine shape. This is just a poorly done example I tried making in photoshop using the stroke blending option.This might be something that can only be done in Illustrator, I am not sure. I'd like to take the original shape of the porcupine and make it 3% bigger everytime but stay conformed to the shape. It's easy to do with a circle or square (using actions in photoshop) but not with an irregular shape like this. I'd like for each shape to be its own layer so I can change the color and opacity. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.

I'm installing CS5 on my new pc and got error, activation limit. PS is already activated on 2 other devices. Those pc's are long gone, formatted and sold.I'm looking for advice on support, they point me to forum. I read forum, they point you to support. I'm being balled around. Support says "I would like to inform you that we don't manage activations as well as deactivations of the perpetual Licenses from our end. Being an owner of your perpetual licenses you only can manage deactivations and activations from your end"How the heck am I supposed to de-activate them my self? I dont have access to those pc's anymore. Support don't have ability to deactivate my old product? I'm not buying that. They're saying no-can-do and are trying to sell me their new subsriptions too on the same breath. Every time on chat.Am I screwed now and forced to buy new photoshop? (certainly not any kind of subs.based software!) Is this how support is treating their customers nowadays?

The tool to remove generative AI in Photoshop gives an error.In Adobe Photoshop, the removal tool using generative artificial intelligence gives an error.Is anyone else experiencing this issue? When will this issue go away? I checked the Adobe Creative Cloud app, but there's no update. That green bar never fills. I wait, I wait, I wait for about 2-3 minutes and then it gives an error. photoshop 27.1  

After the recent update, I am constantly pestered with this error on startup. I have to manually reset my workspace from the menu for it to work and replace the default one.

There are some sources though, that suggest the word Tarff used here is a transliteration of the Gaelic word Tarbh which means bull. Don't forget that we were told that paying a monthly subscription allowed us to access all updates and improvements without having to buy an upgrade.  Now they call updates "new" or "premium" tools not included in our subscription. AI is part of Photoshop, but not the part of Photoshop that we already pay for, and not an update or an upgrade. It is somehow a separate product accessed through Photoshop and integrated into Photoshop. Want unlimited AI? Subscribe to Firefly for an additional monthly fee, and then you get unlimited access to everything... except for the stuff you have to pay even more for of course... you know... the premium premium stuff...

Using either quick keys or menu selection to resize an image just activates the hand tool. No size settings window appears or anything - just switches to the hand tool and the little square cursor. Plugged my keyboard in, blew off my mouse, and restarted my machine (and programs). Same thing. Anyone have any ideas what's going on? Basically can't do my work right now 🤦‍♂

Bug summary:Turning on HDR mode in Windows causes the Photoshop canvas display area to become unstable editing HDR (32-bit) files whenever the cursor moves into the main canvas area.Details:I have been using Photoshop on my system for a long while without any problem. I just upgraded to an HDR monitor, so turned on Windows HDR mode.If I open a 16-bit (non HDR) image file, everything is fine.If I open a 32-bit HDR image file then each time I move the cursor within the main canvas area the entire screen goes black, flashes a few times, and after not moving the mouse for 2-3 seconds restores to the proper appearance. Each time I move the mouse, this repeats until I move the mouse out of the main canvas area when everything is OK again.While my screen is flashing, my monitor displays a Dolby Vision popup on the bottom right that I otherwise only see when the monitor is switching into HDR mode. This makes me think that the instability may be related to the display moving out of and into HDR

I have updated my computer with Windows 10 and installed CS5 to windows 11. Now it shows that CS5 must be re-activated because there is an existing activation on another computer.

In Photoshop, when I click on an element in my creation, it selects that element's layer. Previously, simply pressing "Enter" on the keyboard deselected that layer, but I can't find that setting.
