Hi everyone !I'm using Adobe Photoshop 2026 through an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription on a new 16-inch MacBook Pro with an M5 Pro chip and 24 GB RAM.I've been experiencing a strange issue where a small numerical overlay occasionally appears over my image and gets stuck on the screen.This doesn't happen all the time, but when it does, the overlay won't disappear, and I have to restart Photoshop to get rid of it.The overlay displays the following text (translated from Norwegian):"Minimum: 1.00, Maximum: 300000.00"I've attached here a screenshot taken when this happened on April 3, 2026.I've never experienced this particular behavior on my previous MacBook Pro (2019, Intel-based), or on the MacBook Pro M1 (2020) I'm currently using as a loaner.I'm not assuming this is a hardware problem. I'm simply trying to understand what happened and whether it might be a known Photoshop issue.A few questions: Does anyone recognize this particular numerical overlay and know which Photoshop function

This is a screenshot of the circle I'm referring to. It was changing over time, sort of pulsating. The screenshot is of a portion of the screen showing my browser window. This blue circle stayed in front of any screen I switched to, until I switched to Photoshop. Then it disappears. That leads me to believe it's Adobe software doing it. I'm using a 16" M4 Macbook Pro. Searching the internet for explanations I see other Adobe products are implicated in this same issue.What is the animated icon meant to represent? How can I prevent it in the future? I really don't know what I did to have triggered it. Hovering over it and clicking it did nothing. So it's a useless feature. Worse than that, it's an annoyance, since it encumberts other applications.

I’ve been exploring the new AI Assisted Editor (Beta) in Photoshop 27.10 and really like the idea of using natural-language prompts for common editing tasks.I’m curious about how well it handles more precise edits, especially when using Markup to identify a specific area of an image.For those who have tried it:How accurate are the results with detailed prompts? Does Markup make a noticeable difference compared with text-only prompts? I just bought a Brand new PC and Photoshop struggles to operate efficiently utlizing my new GPU. Here’s the specs: CPU: Intel Core Ultra 7 270k PlusGPU: NVIDIA RTX5070TiRAM: 64GBSSD: 1TBOS: Windows 11 Pro4k, 32” Monitor. Problem 1: The issue is mainly with the Object Selection tools and those tools/options that requires GPU. I’ve turned off all settings for Object Selection tool for auto detecting objects. But it still takes a 2-5 secs to fully operational. So even the automatic detection is disabled, when I select the tool, the little loading icon still spins like it’s detecting something. Before it finishes, if I try to draw a rectengle to select subject, it lags behind my mouse movement. When the detection icon stopped, then the tool behave as expected. I’m not sure what happens during the process.No crush of course. However, when I draw a rectangle with Object selection tool, my processor usages goes up to 100% for 1 or 2 seconds. Problem 2:When photoshop starts, if I hit ctrl+N to

Photoshop 27.11.0 on macOS 26.0.1.With Content Credentials enabled, TIFF files record edits correctly and show no warning after saving. After closing and reopening the TIFF, Photoshop reports that some edits or activities may not have been recorded.The same workflow with PSD files works correctly.The issue is reproducible with newly created TIFFs and without scripts or plugins. TIFF files also create a .c2paws sidecar file.Please investigate the Content Credentials handling of TIFF files.

THIS IS SO ANNOYING to see these edges ALL THE TIME!I cannot be going to "View > Extras" over and over again! HELP

im getting a bit desperate, i dont know what to do..Since this morning, any version of Photoshop i try keeps getting laggier and laggier. It started with the scrubby zoom, then the brush, the ruler etc.Despite that, my pc is running well ( 32Go RAM, 8Go VRAM ). I tried to follow many guides and tried this so far: resetting the preferences; changing the options in the performance tab (including enabling and disabling gpu mode); closing other apps; cleaning my pc from eventual craps ( there’s 150Go of free data on my driver right now); reinstalling the Photoshop; using other Photoshop versions; reinstalling my gpu drivers;The lags keep getting worse and worse (linked a video to show the lag) . I have no ideas what to do to fix this problems, it’s especially problematic since i use Photoshop daily.  Thank you in advance :)

PS is opening *.jpg, *.tiff and *.psd files with lines at the right edge and bottom.  I’ve fiddles with Windows scaling settings, but I can’t get this fixed permanently. Is there a permanent fix for this?  I’m running PS 25.12.4. Example image below.  

Is there a reason that select subject no longer works, or is it a bug?  Or was it changed and has some really dumb extra step that I'm supposed to do in order to get it to work? I tried changing it to device instead of cloud and the button appears like I can click it, and then says I can't do it because it is not available anymore. How do I fix this so that I don't have to keep going back to the previous version, just to select subject and then back to the new one?  Or just use the old version until fixed?  Which is what I had to do for something else similar to this.   Had to use the previous one for almost a year before something was fixed and able to use the new version. Edit:  So I noticed that if I manually click on a layer further down, it allows me to use it........so this definitely is a bug or a bad change that for some reason was intentional.   Before I could do it above my frequency separation group and above my dodge an

I would like to download an older version of Photoshop /Bridge like Vr 11.0.2Reason I need to work with older .cr2 raw files and .cr3 on a 2019 core3i 8 gb so very limited. I just need to load them in bridge open and make basic adjustments, save and then batch process them all into low res jpg at 5mb ish. 

When I try ad add a gradient to a adjustment layer’s mask it mostly work but sometimes it just won’t let me add any gradient.I’ve tried different settings for the gradient but the only thing that works is restarting Photoshop.Using the Gradient tool normally works fine, and it seems to be mostly affected if the mask has values in it already ( if I’ve painted parts out )It’s on Photoshop 27.10.0 and has been going on for quite a few months now.See video for example of how the gradient tool is not working on the adjustment layer’s mask but does normally.

 I am trying to reproduce the first shape in Photoshop. Please educate me on how to achieve it, because I cannot figure it out by myself. Is it even doable?

This is the first time I am trying to run Object rotate on Photoshop 2026. It prompted me to purchase credits which I did. I followed the instruction everything seems to work but without any warning, the process stopped and object rotate did not work. Please help.

Been searching but haven't found answers.   How Do I Change Save / Save As Default from PSD to JPG in Photoshop CC?   These are my steps:   - Editing a RAW file in ACR - Then open it in Photoshop to do more edits - Save/Save As...   Photoshop defaults to PSD. I've read other discussions that's because Photoshop will default to original file format. But this is a RAW file, not a PSD file to begin with.   My question is how do I change this default to JPG instead of PSD? It's annoying having to use the mouse to go down the drop down menu and scroll through to find JPG to save the file. I move through keyboard shortcus, so stopping to use the mouse just do select JPG really slows me down.   Any feedback is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Is there a way to save Path Blur settings? Specifically, I want to save the positions of the paths I create so I can apply them to different layers. Thx.

Menus and panels appear distorted or incomplete. GPU compatibility check passes, but the UI still glitches.

I cleared my laptop history recently. I checked Adobe Photoshop and I was signed out. I used the same method to log in to access my files, but nothing was there. Is there any way to recover my files?

I have a photoshop document open. When I try to export it — whether that’s “Quick Export as PNG,” or “Export As,” I am met with an error. The text of the error is “Could not complete the Quick Export as PNG command because of a program error (854aee.3153)” and “Could not complete the Export As command because of a program error (854aee.3153)” respectively. This is a very new install. I looked for this issue and found others had it through the years. I have ensured that Photoshop has full disk access. I’ve also tried with and without the graphics processor. It’s pretty crippling to be completely unable to export my work in any usable format. Renders the program completely useless, effectively. System info:Apple M116GB memorymacOS version 26.5.2 (25F84) Photoshop version 27.9.1

My laptop is not fully compatible to run Adobe Photoshop. My laptop is already 9yrs old, It sort of runs the software, but when I upgrade the software, it’s no longer, compatible. I don’t have any other devices besides my Samsung android phone, it cost money to buy a new laptop, but I have XP-Pen to connection to my android phone, and it has an app to run the device. Adobe has Photoshop with AI assistant for Android, but it’s not the same as the desktop version

when I crop an image using content aware fill it comes up with an error and crashes photoshop

Having multiple problems using the add-on actions I’ve used for years with this newest release:. I install patterns and they delete in a day or two.. The actions themself are full of errors, particularly “selection” errors. I’ve reset photoshop mutliple times, rebooted my computer and updated my graphics card.  My OS is WIndows 11.Is there anything to be done? Thanks. Are there optimal settings in Windows? 

I have created several presets in my new pro 1100: 8.5x11 matte top feed; 13x19 matte manual feed; 8.5x11 semi-gloss top feed, etc. When I switch from one preset to another the media type and feed switch to the correct parameters but I have to change the paper size manually every time. I had a 1500 a few years ago that worked fine - the paper size was adjusted with each change - more recently my pro 1000 paper size had to be adjusted manually, was hoping the 1100 would have corrected this issue. Windows 11 btw. Thanks in advance for any insight/solution. PS I spent a while consulting with AI but the rabbit hole got so convoluted, I bailed. 

Trying to learn Photoshop, and wanted to turn an old black-white comic into something colorfull. Adding skintones, clothes colous and so on. The white spaces in the characters from the comic also have a lot of black grain inside of them, and some are grayed out so some characters are more grayscale while others are as white as the background.Whats the most efficient way to do this? Just mark everything that needs colouring in with the Lasso and Alt+Backspace? Or is there a better way i am unaware of?
