Hi,I just want to give feedback that Photoshop 2025 is slow and bloated. To be honest, its now an application I dread having to open! I am actively looking for alternatives because it has become so unusable. I am running a top-of-the-line SLS2, and it's still painfully slow. With respect, you've always been such a top-notch company and I fear, if you continue down this trajectory, you'll lose relevance - and soon! Regards, Christian

I'm having a persistent issue with Photoshop 2025 leading. I read about this issue from earlier versions. I've reset my Photoshop preferences and done some of the minor fixes, it gets fixed but then a few days or weeks later it happens again. Anyone else having this issue with 2025 version? When trying to enter a leading other than 0 through 13.36 pt an error message occurs telling me that it has to be within that range no matter the point size of type. The one thing I haven't done is uninstalled and reinstalled Photoshop, which I guess would be the next step.

I could have sworn that until one of the most recent updates, when you would right click any kind of layer in the layer panel, "Blending Options" would always be at the top. But now it seems that for many/most of them, it's all been switched around, such as for raster and text layers. For shape layers, it's like it was before. I assume it has to do with this change. It mentions "customizable flyout menu and right-click options", but I can't figure out how to customize it. The problem is that this has severely screwed up my muscle memory. The blending options menu is one I use very often, and now it's stuck in the middle of a huge menu and I have to search for it visually instead of just going to the top. Is there a way to re-arrange the menu?   

Hi, I'm unable to use the brushes in mask mode. It is grayed out at the top & and I cant figure it out. I'm attaching a screen shot. Does anyone know what the issue is?

Hi all, Macbook Pro, Sequoia 15.6, Adobe Photoshop 2025 user here.Recently I've been experiencing some issues regarding the save feature for files. The issue is that photoshop sometimes makes a duplicate or copy of the psd file I'm currently working on when I use the "save" command, with the cmd+s keyboard shortcut. When I "save", it should save my progress to the current file, but it occasionally saves as a new file without me prompting the "save as" command, which results in me having one or more copies of the same file, at different stages of progress of my work and it has been bothersome. No dialogue box is prompted when the duplicate happens, and I just find a copy of my file appear on my desktop after I use the cmd+s command when attempting to save progress. There should be no hardware issues because I got my new laptop just a week ago. I have tried to observe this issue and there seems to be no pattern regarding what triggers a duplicate happening. Hello,  Since the updates 26.8.1 and 26.8 the legacy parameters in the Brightness/Contrast menu give non consistent results compared to 26.7 and previous versionsHere is the script i use : -grey level on the texture-Edit the Brightness/Contrast parameters, legacy activated :-- +40 for contrast-- +15 for brighness The original texture is attached as well as the psd containing the comparison between the 2 versions King regards

Currently remote working via Cloud PC (Windows App version 2.0.559.0) - what version of Photoshop is GPU compatible with Cloud PC? Downgraded to 25.12.4 long-term supported version and I am still getting the GPU error

Photoshop has always been appreciated for its intuitive features, and one such example is the ability to adjust brush size quickly by right-clicking when using tools like the Brush Tool, Clone Stamp, etc. This small feature makes a big difference in workflow efficiency. However, I’ve noticed that this convenient right-click brush size adjustment is not available in the Remove Tool. Currently, we need to go to the top toolbar or use shortcuts to change the brush size, which is slightly less intuitive compared to other tools. My suggestion: Please add the right-click brush size adjustment option in the Remove Tool as well, just like other brush-based tools. This will not only improve consistency across tools but also enhance the ease of use, especially for users who prefer visual, on-the-spot control.

Hi all, I shoot in RAW and edit using HDR but when I save the photo as JPEG it looks dull and not like HDR? I tick the HDR Output box in settings when exporting. Any idea what I am doing wrong? Two examples below. Thanks!

Hi. I am facing this annoying problem since a few days. I'm working on Windows 11 with Photoshop 26.9.0 but I also tried to install Photoshop 22.2 and the result is the same. The problem started when I placed an embedded image and I applied a rotation. I placed the embedded and by using free transformation I flipped it by 180°. I received the error: "Invalid numeric entry. A number between -180,00 and 180,00 is required. Previous value inserted.". The same error appears if I try to transform or move any other element. For example, if I insert a frame and I select the Move Tool, when i confirm the transformation (even if I do nothing but click the move tool and then press enter to confirm), the error pops-up again.Obviously I can press OK but the error pops-up again in a never ending loop. I managed to press DEL to cancel the angle value before the error pops-up again: I wrote 0 and pressed ENTER but the error appeared  again and again and again making Photoshop unus

This only started happening I think with the previous (25.4?) update, or at least a couple months ago. Basically the Layers panel always starts collapsed after opening a new blank document. See screenshot below. I have to double click it to expand it. Hi all. As i am working on the bunch of images which where originally scanned and cropped into individual images using Script.(Thanks for the script from Jazz), i was struck with the next step where i tried using an action which is as follows.1. Select all in the image(Landscape image)2. Transform select. Shrink the selection by 5% ,that is 95 % of the image selected.3. Activate crop tool. Enter it to execute the crop command.4. The action did well with the same dimensions of the image .As soon as i apllied the action to a portrait image the dimension didn't change to  landscape format hence cropping the second half of the image.Could there be a fix for this?    Looking for an action or script that would activate the crop command with the selection of 95% of the image from centre , pfa and with the transform selection window showing off so that we can modify the selection and once click ok the crop applies and saves the image.Thanks.

I am having a nightmare with the recent Adobe upgrade - AI fails about 1 in 5 times and the screen gives a white out image and the error message "could not complete .." - the computer is jammed and has to be unplugged. I have tried to reach Adobe - no way of speaking to them - nightmare company. I changed the various settings suggested by this expert community which reduce the "crash rate" but it is still really really poor and a dreadfgul upgrade - I am thinking of moving to another photo editing programme because the latest upgrade has snookered me! A second issue is that the upgrade has caused my regular screen to lose all the toolbars and having spent 2 hours trying to find them I give up - please sack these pregrammers!

Hallo, ich habe mir vor Jahren Photoshop Elements gekauft, bin aber vor 3 Jahren auf das professionellere Photoshop, jetzt 2025, umgestiegen. Mit Elements konnte ich eine schöne Diashow mit einigen Effekten aus einigen Photos erstellen, aber ich finde keine Funktion wie "Erstellen Diashow" in PS.Ich hätte auch Premiere Pro, um etwas zu erstellen, aber das ist ziemlich aufwendig, daher meine Frage an Euch: Gibt es ein Äquivalent zu Photoshop Elements auch in PS 2025?

Hello, and thanks in advance if you can help me - learning on the job which is never wise. I need to script the following1. Select a pair of images from a folder - each are numbered e.g1234.jpg 1234h.jpg, load into stack and auto align2. Transform the top layer removing colours via color select3. Save as 1234PH.pngRepeat for remaining images in the folder (a few thousand pairs of images) 4. Create an animation between the original 1234.jpg and this 1234PH.png i.e. animating on the transformed top layer. I want a specific semi-randomised animation that I think can be scripted in AE. Save this animation as a 1234.GF Again repeat for all images in the folder. I know there are elements that can be automated but I'm struggling with steps including automatic selection of paired images.Any resources or help would be much appreciated. Thanks   

Hi there!!Did anyone found a workaround for this flaw in the adobe ecosystem?The liquify tool won't work on lightroom (iPad)  files when "edit in PS" is activated!If you open the file trought photoshop than it will work, but doing this you loose the seamless transitionbetween the apps!This is really frustrating!!!

Hi folks, i have this problem for a while now. On my Windows 10 laptop with Wacom Intuos Pro, the Flow is to strong.20% emits color as it is 90%.1% is like it's 20%.Any idea how to fix this?

Hi y'all When you save a selection within a smart object, it would be nice to be able to get it back in the main document. Maybe an option when saving : Smart object or main file? On the other hand I aknowledge that sizes and rez are often not the same in the smart objects that in the main file… Thoughts? Best Didier

When many tabs are open, some become hidden, making it difficult to drag and drop a layer into a hidden document. It would be helpful if Photoshop could automatically scroll through the tabs during a drag-and-drop action or provide another simple way to drop the layer onto a non-visible tab.
