I'm new to Mac and cannot really see the tiny thumbnail icons which PS seems to give as standard- is there a way to enlarge them. They look especially tiny on my 27 inch screen! In Win 10 there was a choice of several sizes and I always used the largest when secection an image to work on. Any suggestions? Thanks, Pete.

Hello,I have a lot of scanned CD booklets like I have no deeper experience with Photoshop and mainly use PaintShopPro for graphics but since Photoshop is included in my subscription and I found no solution with PaintShopPro I ask here..Is there a convenient and fast way to process these pictures:Load it Adjust it horizontal Crop it In the case of the booklet device it in two pages (in two new images) and save them?And the same with the back-inlay and the CD?And even better process CDs or he booklets in batch? It would be nice if someone how have deeper knowledge then me could give me some hints. Thanks Stefan Westner

Most of the file type options are missing from my save menu. I cannot save JPGs unless I choose the 'Save as a Copy command. If I choose 'Save', or 'Save As...' I only see options to save as PSD, PSB, IFF, JPF, PNG, TIFF. I've noticed that for some files, I only have PSD, PSB, and TIFF.  I have my project set to 8-bit, RGB Color.I use photoshop regularly and this problem just started yesterday. The problem persists with all new projects I create.   

How do I disable this feature? I have saved a file as a copy (jpg, png, etc) and I no longer need the file. I try to close it but Photoshop locks up until I save it as a PSD file as well before I can close the file. Why does it do this? I am using Adobe Photoshop 2022.

Simply put, if I have a base image and edit it with levels and/or curves in Photoshop and then flatten or merge visible or stamp visible, the images darkens noticeably making it impossible to measure with Color Picker what the edited values actually are.  This is a headache at a number of levels for my workflow.  I had not noticed it previously so I don’t know if this is a recent bug or something I have only now become sensitive to.  Any input would be appreciated. Mac Mini M2, Photoshop 2026 on my computer

There are vertical lines throughout an old photo I'm restoring, and I haven't figured out how to eliminate them. Ideas welcome! Apparently there's no way to add an attachment here, which renders this query useless...Ah; OK, here we go. I’m not sure if the lines were the result of a texture on the original photo, but I would like to remove them if possible.

I have to say that the results I get from generative fill in photoshop are absolutely terrible. Why is adobe including a poor quality function? Not only do the image results look unrealistic but the reults are in low resolution, so absolutely no use whatsoever to a print designer. Might be fun for someone trying out photoshop for personal use, but when I pay a lot of money for a professional application and it includes a function that is dreadful then there is big problem in my opinion. Can adobe either make functions that work to a high standard or drop the monthy subscription price to reflect how poor AI is.

Hi forum, is there an equivalent in PS to get Corner type like in Illustrator? I notice in PS there is an option to round off the corners, but I also would like to know if there's an option about making the corners of a shape chamfer or inverted round. Thank you

I’ve been attempting to upscale an image today on my Windows 11 PC, and so far I’m only able to use Firefly or Topaz Bloom, but I need to be able to use Topaz Gigapixel. Normally this is a very fast process for me, but today the progress bar spends several minutes gradually filling up, and if I let it continue it was eventually giving me an error although the last couple of times I tried the progress bar went away and I didn’t see the error. I’ve never experienced this until today, and I’ve tried the option on two different machines unsuccessfully.

I’ve noticed a frustrating change in Photoshop’s Levels adjustment tool. When using the white point eyedropper to set the white point by sampling in the image, the correction is now much more intense and immediately blows out the highlights, destroying shadow details. Previously, clicking a light but not pure white area would produce a subtle, balanced adjustment, preserving tonal range.This new behavior makes it impossible to maintain shadows while using the white point eyedropper and significantly disrupts my workflow. Is there any way to restore the previous, more forgiving behavior, or could this be addressed in a future update?

First time posting here. When I open my installed programs in the windows 11 settings tab, I see two copies of Photoshop 2026 installed- 27.1.0.17 and 27.4.0.15. They are not listed in the creative cloud desktop, currently I do not have photoshop as a downloaded program there. So I try to use the windows uninstall and they will not uninstall. Next I tried the cleanup tool, and when I look through the list of programs able to be removed the only installed program able to be removed is Lightroom which I have installed and would like to keep it as it is. I just want to uninstall the duplicate programs and install photoshop once.

The error on the Mac Studio happens even on a new, empty 8-bit RGB document.What I have already tried:Complete Clean Install: Used the Adobe CC Cleaner Tool, reinstalled on the internal Macintosh HD (it was previously on an external SSD). Preferences: Reset on launch; toggled "Stable" vs. "Faster" processing in Image Processing. GPU Settings: Deactivated "Use Graphics Processor"; tried "Basic" mode; disabled OpenCL. Folders: I noticed that ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/UXP/PluginsStorage/PHSP/27/In

I used DNG converter with Sony's three raw formats for the A7 V. Although the ARW files for the HQ and compressed formats are much smaller than the lossless compressed file, the DNG from the lossless compressed file is smaller than the other two. Does that make sense? Since the other two are lossy, I expected the corresponding DNGs to be smaller.  Here are sizes for 3 shots of the same thing:Lossless compressed:  48.56 MB ARW → 40.95 MB DNGCompressed HQ:  34.05 MB ARW → 42.61 MB DNGCompressed:  34.33 MB ARW → 42.87 MB DNG

The remove tool is not working in PS 27.6.0. I get the message “required components are being downloaded check back later”. I’ve gone to the Creative Cloud app and it shows the components are installed, I’ve deleted PS and reinstalled it, rebuilt the preference files, restarted my M1 iMac running OS 26.4.1, checked settings to use the more stable options, but nothing helps, the same message keeps popping up every time I try to click on the remove tool icon. 

I’m using the Firefly workspace in Photoshop 27.6 for generating since there is the possibility to generate 4k images. This works most of the time. Now I have the problem that the generating takes forever and nothing happens. But the credits are gone of course… This should never ever happen. Credits shouldn’t be charged at the beginning of generating but when generating is finished. Just because of problems like this or you want to abort because of fixing the prompt. It is really annoying getting credits charged for nothing.

오브젝트 마스크 도구를 사용해서 객체를 선택하고 속성 패널에서 패더, 불투명도는 활성화가 되어있는데. 확장은 활성화가 되어있지 않습니다. 그리고 다른 영상이나 사진들을 보면 선택한 객체가 빨간색으로 칠해져 있고 외각선은 점선으로 표시가 되어있는데. 제 화면은 선택하면 외각선 점선 표시는 없습니다. 빨간색 칠만 되어있죠. 차이점이 뭔지 알고싶고 확장 기능을 꼭 사용하고 싶습니다. 감사합니다.

Last year, my company switched everyone to PC laptops and it’s been trouble ever since. Latest issue: Photoshop printing. If we can even get the list of printer profiles to appear, they all appear to be video settings.  Doing what investigation and experimentation I can (they have these machines locked down to an insane degree), looks like Photoshop is ignoring the system profile folder C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\color in favor of its own folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Color\MPProfiles. This seems to be filled with profiles After Effects and Premiere need.  I tried (on my personal PC) moving all the video profiles into a Video folder but PS still displays them. I don’t want to remove them entirely as I figure AE and PP are using them for something. But I also can’t add the actual printer drivers to this folder due to the aforementioned locked-down nature of the work computer. So my question is two-fold: do I need all these video profiles, and can I point Photos

On both of my Macs, PS 2026 Command-Shift-F has completely stopped working since yesterday. Was there some kind of wonky update? I’ve scoured Google searching for a fix. I’m on a deadline… help!!

Besonders bei feinen Farbnuancen und präzisen Retuschen arbeiten wir häufig mit dem schnellen Ein- und Ausschalten von Ebenen, um Unterschiede direkt vergleichen zu können. Die eingeblendeten Hover-Linien stören dabei jedoch die Wahrnehmung subtiler Farb- und Helligkeitsänderungen. Dadurch werden feine Unterschiede teilweise überdeckt oder verfälscht wahrgenommen.Die aktuelle minimale Breite von 0,5 px ist hierfür bereits zu deutlich sichtbar. Idealerweise sollte sich die Darstellung entweder auf 0 px reduzieren lassen oder alternativ über den Menüpunkt „Ansicht“ vollständig deaktivierbar sein.
