I'm trying to open 20 pictures (NEF-files) as layers in Photoshop by using the command "Open as layers in Photoshop" from Lightroom (not Classic). I'm using iMac with MacOs Sequoia 15.0.1.After a while the layers start showing up in Photoshop, but when all layers are displayed, everything disappears and the screen just shows Lightroom again. I'm not able to locate the file anywhere in PS. Any suggestions? Too low in memory maybe? (8 GB).

After adobe photoshop 2025 update to 26.11.0 the app continues to crash and will not open, installed on Mac M4 MacBook Air OS 26.0.1

I find that the Photoshop version 26.11 with 17.5.1.2319 camera raw is problematic for using the Denoise feature and the AI interferes with creating a usable image. I have transferred all my photo files from my new MacBook laptop to use an older version of PS 25.7.0 on my Mac Studio in which the Denoise works wonderfully.  I want a switch to totally turn off the AI on the Denoise and return to the older version.  

  Hello, I'd like to report a bug. I saved my file and closed it. When I tried to open it again, an error message appeared, saying the file isn't compatible with the version of Photoshop. I used version 2025 and have the beta version installed, and I get the same error in both. I've had problems this year with InDesign; Adobe tried everything to fix it, but it wasn't possible. And now, again, an error in another application. These errors have been constant; I've had to redo other projects because of them. I'm using Windows 11, latest updates. Since Photoshop 26.11, I'm getting an embedded color profile mis-match opening an image (raw or dng) from ACR into Photoshop. The color workspace is set to ProFoto RGB in LRC and Phototshop. This happens when I load an image from Bridge into ACR.  When opening the image from ACR into Photoshop I it claims that the embedded color workspace is "Display P3", which I believe is some sort of Apple thing. This isn't just with recent images - any raw or dng file from say five years ago. Very annoying, and needless converting of color workspace is not desirable. Anybody have any idea what's going on? Thanks, JW

Updated to latest photoshop version, windows 11 version and GPU driver.Crash every single time. Even tried restoring to 25.12.4, sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn't work. Here's the log. What can I do?

While i have active selection i can not change size of brush and sometimes i can not choose the tool i need, as soon as i deactivate selection everything works perfectly.

I'm trying to do a simple sky replacement in photoshop, but my masks are blurry when I select and mask and not sharp at all. I am not feathering, but just using quick selection, select and mask.  as seen in image:1 I make the selection with quick select2. I check the selection (in Lumenzia) and appears sharp just as I need3. when I select mask I get a blurred/feathered mask as seen in image 44. The mask itself5. result of the effect. No sharp crispy lines between sky and mountain, but feathered.  It drives me nuts. I cannot figure it out why it does not give me the mask as in image 2.Thank you for your help! 🙂 

When I draw in Photoshop, the paint doesn’t blend smoothly, it leaves a sharp edge in the middle of the brush stroke instead of a soft transition. Everything just ends up looking rough and patchy. (see images)-I’m working in 8-bit sRGB and have tried both a mouse (MX Master 3s) and a tablet (XP-Pen Deco 01 v2), but the results are the same.I’ve reinstalled Photoshop, updated to the 2024 and 2025 versions, and even downgraded to 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022, same issue everywhere. It’s still happening even with 16/32-bit files.blending mode is set to Normal, the brush is default soft brush.I'VE ALSO RE-INSTALLED WINDOWS BUT THE ISSUE IS STILL THERE.

I am at my wits' end, I keep getting this save for error message in Photoshop I have tried older versions of os and Photoshop and looked at the compatibility chart https://helpx.adobe.com/ie/download-install/apps/system-requirements/apps-compatible-macos.html but to no avail! And yes, I have given Photoshop full disk access. What is going on? Losing hope

Using Ai to click on a text and select a subject and be able to dictate if the words warp around, repeat itself, attaches itself to a shirt, things like this. 

In an instruction video, Matt Kosklowski points the cursor to a color in the Library, and automatically, the color picker is set to that color. When I do the same, nothing happens. He is using a beta version, and I have version 26.9.0. Is this version related, or is it a bug? Rolf Södergren  

I ran into an issue a week or two ago that I think was triggered by a storage problem. While I was screen sharing with a client and showing a Photoshop document, an error popped up, something about disk space or storage. Since I was mid-session, I closed the message quickly without reading it properly. Later that day, I had Photoshop, Premiere, and After Effects all open at once, hopping back and forth. I noticed my storage was almost full, so I started cleaning up space on my PC while those apps were still running, which in hindsight was probably a bad idea and probably caused this issue. During that cleanup, some temporary files were deleted (which I suspect contributed to the problem), and shortly after that, my PC blue-screened. After restarting my PC, I realized I could no longer open the Photoshop cloud document that had been open during the crash. Now when I try to open it in Photoshop desktop, I get this error:“Couldn’t open filename.psdc because the file is

I’m experiencing the exact same issue. Everything is fully updated and running properly, but the Generative Fill AI simply doesn’t work anymore. No matter the approach — smaller selections, very specific prompts, minimal prompts, or even just using a period — the results are completely unrealistic. Textures, lighting, and structure all look artificial and oversharpened. What used to be a reliable two-second fix is now unusable. The issue clearly isn’t on the user’s side; it’s with the new Firefly AI system itself. It’s a real step backward for Photoshop.

Does anyone know how to clear the clipboard history? I go to expert bring the pic. up go to edit then clear history or all and it come up can not be undone.

Hi, I just started animating with photoshop and I was wondering if there was a way to only activate the onion skin mode on specific layers? When I activate it, it always shows all layers and I couldn't figure anything out in the options either.

So I just updated from 24.0 to 24.5 and I am immediately having issues with being able to hold the spacebar to pan while I work. Previously if I hold space I could click and drag to pan, and then when I let go of the mouse it would stop panning. Now however it seems that if I let go it will continue to pan until I click again once or twice. This is agitating and is slowing down my workflow.I do not have gestures, flick panning, or overflow enabled and this is still happening.I'm using windows 10 build 19044.2965

Photoshop version v 26.11 was working fine until 1 week ago, when it suddenly wouldn't open, so I uninstalled (select keep pref and delete old versions(none were installed) ) and then I get this issie : I tried everything I found online but nothing worksAdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool didn't solve the problembiggest issue is that I am unable to manually delete the Photoshop folder even in safe modethe only version that I was able to finally install was v 25.12.4please help asapps. I need some help, i just trying to open my photoshop but everytime, it is opening and closing/crashing, but, if i try to use photoshop beta it is working perfectly fineSome things i already tried- Clean preferences and Creative cloud cleaner- update my graphics cards- set the photoshop to admin preferences- unistall and install a previous version- reinstall everything, adobe apps, etcI can't figure out what is happening.

Hello, I am experiencing a very annoying colour shift in my photos after Airdropping them from my Apple Macbook (Air 2023) to my Apple Iphone 14 Pro. After playing around it seems there is a colour tint shift towards a green tint. Adding some Magenta back into the image using the in-Iphone Image Editor brings it someway back but its still not perfect. There could be slight shift in White Balance too. To be specific I am working with 16-Bit files in Photoshop on Macbook Air with colour profile: LCD. I am exporting at PNG24 or JPEG 100% (Tried both) with both colour space settings "Convert to SRGB" and "Embed Colour Profile" ticked. Airdropping to Iphone 14 Pro. On both Mac and Iphone I have True Tone and Auto-Brightness turned off. Thinking its an export or colour space issue i tried searching online and found to my amazement this topic has been raised hundreds of times across various platforms (Apple Community, Adobe Community, Photoshop Community) yet no commu
