Photoshop on iPad - Is there a way to set the Touch Shortcut to act as the Option key does on MacOS when creating a layer mask, instantly creating a black mask? The best solution I’ve found - without a keyboard - is to tap the mask icon, then the filter icon, then select invert. Of course that works, but… the Touch Shortcut is just… right there.

I am experiencing a reproducible problem with my brand new Wacom Intuos Pro M (PTK-670) and Pro Pen 3 on my MacBook with an external LG monitor.My preferred setup is to use the external LG monitor as my main working display for Photoshop, while keeping the MacBook's built-in display available for other applications such as email, Finder or a browser.The problemWhen Photoshop is open and active, the Wacom pen correctly controls the cursor on the external LG monitor while hovering above the tablet.However, as soon as I touch the tablet with the pen tip, the cursor immediately jumps from the external LG monitor to the MacBook's built-in display.This can also happen simply when the pen is picked up/used while Photoshop is the active, window without me intentionally doing anything with the pen.If I tap my Macbook screen with the pen it jumps to the LG monitor – so the pen is unusable with Photoshop.The Wacom behaves correctly if I close the MacBook lid, leaving only the external LG monitor

Hi everyone, I'd like to know if it's possible to turn off these constant prompts/suggestions to use AI in all Creative Cloud software?Adobe—like every other tool these days—is going overboard with this stuff. We're not all beginners who need to be spoon-fed. I'll decide for myself if and when to use them.

Es ist einfach nicht verfügbar. Andere lösten es: Ich habe schon mehrere Beiträge darüber gelesen, allerdings konnten alle das Problem lösen indem Sie in Behance das Alter eintragen. Beim Anmelden in Behance erscheint bei mir kein Fenster und ich finde auch keine Möglichkeit mein Alter irgendwo zu ändern. Was könnte noch das Problem sein oder die Lösung bringen?  Info: Das Konto ist Teil unserer Firma und kann (teilweise) über die Admin Console bearbeitet werden. Auch darauf habe ich Zugriff, kann jedoch die Lösung nicht finden.  Photoshop (25.5.1) und Creative Cloud habe ich auf die aktuellste Version geupdatet.

Photoshop 27.10.0 on MacOS - there is no Brightness/Contrast layer available. Bug or feature? 

Although the color space is the same (sRGB IEC61966-2.1), the image in the web version—at least in the web settings window—is noticeably warmer (see screenshot).Can this be adjusted for the preview window?Photoshop 27.10.0macOS 26.3.2 (25D2140)  

I recently bought a brand new MacBook Pro M5 with 48gb of working memory. Every app I use on a daily basis for work has been smooth, fast, and seamless- except Photoshop. It is consistently laggy. I’ll make a brush stroke and it will show up on the screen 5+ seconds later. I will click on the layers tab and it takes 4+ seconds to register.I currently have the memory usage set to 70%. I tried upping the memory and turning on and off some Graphics Processors settings, but that did not help.Yesterday, I was working on a 8”x10” file at 400 dpi with about 6 layers. I had only been working on that file for 20 minutes max. I went to Activity Monitor and Photoshop was taking up a whopping 16.09gb!!I removed and redownloaded Photoshop last week and am still experiencing this extreme lag.I use Photoshop for work and it has become nearly unusable. Please help! 🙏

Lasso tool is completly broken.It starts to activate only after I move cursor few pixels which makes it not precise.also when you try to move selected pixels just a little it jumps back to original positionCan you please fix that adobe? I would like to have my basic tool working to do my job.

 Issue summary: Panels flickering when moving cursor over image Product and version: Photoshop 27.11 Operating system: macOS 27.0.1 Golden Gate Steps to reproduce: Open Photoshop - let system to sleep, wake up system with Photoshop left open, open image, move cursor over image = side panels flickering. After restarting Photoshop flickering is gone. After sleep and wake up system side panels flickering again. 

Hi, I’m a Teaching Assistant for a graphic design course. My instructor and I have been having issues with students submitting the completed End files from Adobe Classroom in a Book lessons as their own work. Some even modify the End files before submitting them.We now require students to submit their original Illustrator and Photoshop working files (.ai). Is there a reliable way to check a file’s editing history or determine whether a student worked through the lesson themselves instead of modifying the provided End file?

This happened to me just today; I’m using a Win11 system with the Photoshop icon in the system tray. I noticed it was just a generic page icon, and when I clicked on it I received the following message:“The item’Photoshop.exe’ that this shortcut refers to has been changed or moved, so this shortcut will no longer work properly.Do you want to delete the shortcut?” I checked the folder where Photoshop is supposed to be installed and it was pretty much empty; just a couple leftover folders with no settings folder. So, I assume my shortcuts have been deleted along with Photoshop being uninstalled. None of the other applications in Creative Cloud were affected.I don’t know if this is a bug, or has something to do with the Windows 26h2 update (which I sincerely doubt). I also know other people have been having this happen to them as well, sometimes multiple times. My subscription is paid and I’m logged onto my Adobe account -- I’m wondering at this point what I’m paying for as this is obviou

Hi everyone,I am designing vector graphics and icon assets in Illustrator to use inside responsive web containers and custom sidebar widgets.When I export my artwork using File > Export > Export for Screens (SVG format) and embed it into my website, there is noticeable empty padding/whitespace around the graphics that messes up the alignment and container spacing.I've tried tweaking the artboard dimensions, but the exported SVG still retains extra padding inside the bounding box on the web page.Is there a specific setting in Illustrator's SVG Export Options (like CSS properties, Responsive settings, or ViewBox parameters) that ensures the artboard trims tightly around the artwork without extra margins?Any advice on the best workflow for web-ready SVG exports would be greatly appreciated!

Engraving portraits on CNC machines requires a separate plugin with features such as: spotted stone texture overlay; engraving preview; layers with different frequency channels of engraving points, for ease of retouching. And of course, the AI function for creating portrait models. 

Upgraded to PS 27.11.00.None of my saved Actions work.  Bridge > Tools > PS > Batch > Action: “OPEN RAW to JPG” opens to a Desktop Folder instead of PS.  Manually saved RAW to only option available… jxl .jxl now opens in Preview instead of PS. Don't know how to default to PS. Saved “save as” to .jpg PS does not recognize .jpg because an unknown or invalid JPEG marker type is found. .jxl is not compatible with Topaz AIPlease advise… thank you… dw 🤙🏽

But it didn't work. My GPU is a RTX 5060 8GB and I'm using Windows 11.

This post refers to Adobe Elements 26When trying to use the draw tool I select the Pencil Tool, the line I wish to draw is in black and 2 pixels wide. I click on the star point and the first black dot does not appear, I then go to the finish point, holding the shift key down to get a continuous line and the line does not appear. This happens intermittantly, sometimes (occasionally) the line is drawn.I have been using this feature regularly for a long time and this is the first time I have had a problem.Similarly using the Erase tool, it acts like the brush toolAnyone got any ideas

I recently updated to the Adobe Photoshop Version: 27.9.1 20260803.r.1 65900e1  x64 (final, Release). Once I import an image and I use the Clone Stamp Tool, it doesn't work as it used to. I use Alt+Click to select an area to clone, but then, when I click on a target to clone on, it uncontrollably clones other areas of the image, at a linear manner. I haven't seen such a behavior before.

I have been using Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop and PS Beta on my system for years.   The pc in question is a Ryzen 9 5950x with 64 gigs of ram and an RTX 3080 gfx card. My system is a windows 11 pc with all the latest updates done and I have uninstalled and reinstalled the adobe creative apps. (lightroom PS and PS beta) Lightroom will open without any issue from the windows menu or icon on my desktop. Any attempt to launch any form of photoshop is failing.  I have attempted to open photos from lightroom in photoshop and photoshop beta.  I have attempted to launch from the creative cloud app by clicking open.  I have attempted to open from the windows menus and i have gone into the program files to attempt to launch the .exe from there.  Al attempts to do so respond with same end. A popup window titled ADOBE PHOTOSHOP with text that says “could not complete your request because the file was not found”.   I have uninstalled and reinstalled.  I have gone into the APPDATA and deleted the fol

I just installed Photoshop 27.11.0 on my Mac M4 running macOS Sequoia 15.7.3.When I open a photo from Lightroom in Photoshop and try to use the Reflection Removal tool to remove reflections from a store window, it doesn't work. Photoshop creates a completely black Reflection Layer.I've also tried using Camera Raw by going to Filter → Camera Raw Filter → Distraction Removal → Reflections but that produces a completely white layer instead.I've confirmed that the image is 8-bit and have also tried converting it to a Smart Object, but neither has helped.Has anyone else experienced this issue or found a solution? I'd really appreciate any suggestions!Thanks so much!

Everything was working fine, but now I am unable to use the generative fill feature in both Photoshop and Illustrator, as it says "Please check the internet connection and try again". Attaching the screenshot for your reference. Would be great if someone could help.Thank you 🙂

Bonjour, à plusieurs reprises en voulant utiliser l’AI génératif dans PSD pour élargir le cadre sur des photos ou des éléments de design pour faciliter des mises en pages, l’opération avorte et me donne un message éphémère “nous avons rencontré un problème avec le résultat...”. Un lien “consulter” m’oriente vers des observation éthiques à propos de l’IA, concernant les droits etc… alors que je travaille exclusivement sur des photos et des designs dont je suis l’auteur. Explications svp ?
