Hi,I’m experiencing very high RAM usage in Photoshop on an Apple Silicon Mac. Photoshop consumes around 40GB of RAM immediately on launch, even with no documents open.I’m using a MacBook Pro M3 with 96GB RAM. The issue started around the time I installed a variable font, though it continues even after removing the font.I’ve updated macOS and Photoshop to the latest versions, reset Photoshop preferences, cleared cache files, tested in macOS Safe Mode, and spoken with Adobe Support (including a remote session). The issue also occurs in older Photoshop versions.This looks like a possible memory leak, and I’m not sure how to troubleshoot it further. I’ve attached screenshots showing Photoshop’s memory usage in Activity Monitor with no documents open, along with my system specs.Thanks.

There is something wrong with custom actions pannel. 2 workstations have same problem - resets all my custom actions after automatic update (i lost all my custom actions due they were not saved in separate folder). Day after on startup it happens again with error message: Could not load actions because an unexpected end-of-file was encountered. All actions are gone again.  

When I do the pattern preview I just see rows of lines. This is for Spoonflower fabric. I've watched and read so many videos about training and can't come up with a good way to do this.    here is my original painting   Here is my pattern preview.   thanks so very much!

Is it possible to convert images in a PDF file from 72 dpi to 300 dpi by using a bridge to Photoshop? Thank you for your help!

Hello. I have been online watching tons of videos, trying to find a solution to this problem, but it's eluded me. One of my clients is putting up a new fiberarts website gallery page. It will use the same page and image format as the other galleries. All the images in the other galleries have a small gray gradient at the top of the image, which I was able to easily add in an older version of Photoshop WITHOUT overlapping the image, although I can't remember how.   I now use Photoshop 2025. I have 26 new images to add to the new gallery, and when I try to add the same kind of gradient to the new images, it overlaps the top of the image. Is it no longer possbile to do the kind of gradient I did before? Or am I missing something. I'm going to try to attach images. If the images don't go through, you can see the kind of gradient I need in any of the website galleries:  [website removed as per forum guidelines]  Any help would be greatly appreciated. Photoshop Version: 27.2.0 Mac OS Tahoe Version 26.2     Setup: A Layerset consisting of multiple objects that has an outer or center stroke layer style applied to it. Action: Right. clicking on the stroke layer style and selectiong 'Create Layers' Result: The resulting layers are malformed, usually expanded beyond their original appearance.  It seems an inner stroke is not effected only the center and out strokes. A set with only one item in it seems to work correctly but a set with multiple items does not.   Thank you for your attention with this matter.   One item in layerSet inner center and outer stroke   One Item after create layers from layer styles   Multiple Items in layerset before   Multiple Items after create layers  

I'm using Photoshop 27.2 and using the generative expand feature. I have used it multiple times on multiple photos and saved the images back to light room. However my AI credit balance has not decreased. I have also used generative fill to remove objects and it is also not affecting my credit balance. According to the documentation both of these actions should've reduced my credit balance by three credits each time.I have the photography plan which includes 250 credits per month and I have an additional 2000 credit plan.It's not that I'm dying to spend more credits it's actually that I'm just trying to understand and confirm which features use credits and which do not.

 i have this problem when i try to use pattern fill in adobe Photoshop 2020 it does not show me the patterns like it use to and i cannot find how to fix it if anyone knows please help

Hi,A few days ago I was unable to access the Photoshop on my laptop.Following online Adobe advise I removed my ACC & have been trying to upload a new version, many many times without success for various reasons. Error code 50, Relaunch, missing or damaged etc etc. Even the suggested link "www.adobe.com/go/adobecreativecloudapp" isn't successful.All help gratefully received.Thanks.

Já entrei aqui várias vezes e o problema se define que pago Adobe Acrobat Pro para uso do photoshop de inicio funcionava, mas parar remover fundo era uma lástima as máquinas de automação que trabalho tem um treliça metálica fina de aluminio que é a cabine de proteção ao operador e ela é deslocavél para abrir a máquina e o operador com a máquina desligada possa manuseiar o campo de operação da máquina, mas o photoshop sumia com esta treliça, ou seja, o photoshop é um software ruim, péssimo e fiquei sem usar ele já que não me serve para nada. Ai tentei voltar meu plano da Adobe Acrobat Pro para sem este dispositivo da photoshop e estou pagando até hoje por este dispositivo deficiente, e pior agora pede para atualizar minha placa gráfica, pelo amor de Deus isto se chama venda enganosa, e cobrança indevida desde o ano passado eu tenho que passar por isto estou sendo escravo de um sistema idiota. Salve a tutti, volevo chiedere se qualcuno ha problemi con i neural filters dalla versione 27.1, in pratica quando vado sul menù per selezionarli mi appare una schermata grigia con una rotellina blu che gira di fianco alla foto da modificare e poi niente. Ho provato a scaricare una versione precedente la 26.11.2 e qui i filtri funzionano perfettamente. Chi come me? Allego uno screeshot per far capire il problema e ringrazio chi potrà aiutarmi.

중고 pc 구매했는데 포토샵 깔려있었습니다. (자의 아님)  2-3회 사용해보다가 ai 기능 없이는 안되겠어서 3시 50분에 포토샵+라이트룸 구매했고, 구매 후 몇 가지 기능 사용하다가 생성형 ai 기능이 안되길래 재설치했습니다 그 이후로 Photoshop, Lightroom 모두 ‘귀하의 구독 상태를 확인할 수 없습니다.’ 라고 뜨고 지금 4시간 째 사용하지 못하고 있습니다.본인 스냅 작가이고 오늘 꼭 처리해야 할 작업이 있어서 집 컴퓨터에 포토샵 설치 한건데 4시간동안 갖은 방법 다 동원해서 실갱이 하다 안돼서 포기했어요. 주말이라 어디에 문의 남겨야 될지 모르겠어서 여기 남기면 직원 분이 답 남겨주시길래 일단 남겨봅니다ㅠ   일단 제가 시도한 방법 내용 다 기록해보겠습니다. 확인사항- 카드 승인 됨 금액 빠져나감 > 내 플랜에 정상적으로 포토샵과 라이트룸이 포함되어있음- 신용카드 만료일 청구주소 전화번호 모두 문제없음- 생년월일 올바름- 인터넷 매우 잘 연결되어있음 = 오프라인 상태 아님 (속도가 보통 속도긴 함 아주 빠르진 않음)- 버전 windosw 11 시도 내용- OperatingConfigs 삭제해보려 했으나 해당 폴더 없음- Oobe 폴더 이름 oobe.old로 변경함 > 안됨- Windows 자격증명 adobe user info part1 part2 os 전부 삭제 > creative cloud 구독 상태 확인할 수 없다 뜨며 실행 안됨 > 전부 재설치함 > 안됨- 호스트 파일에 adobe 관련 내용 없음- 시스템 시계 동기화 중단해봄 > 안됨- 방화벽 끄고 재설치 > 안됨- 방화벽에서 앱 허용 > creative cloud photoshop lightroom 추가 > 안됨- Adobe creative cloud cleaner tool로 모든 파일 삭제 후 재설치 > 안됨- 컴퓨터 재부팅 > 안됨- 전체 앱 삭제 후 재설치 총 6,

 This doesn't happen every time, but enough that it's becoming a nuisance. I open a RAW file in Camera RAW, select masking, select landscape, select multiple masks, then open them to edit. I'm able to make adjustments with the first mask, but as soon as I click on a second one, it glitches like this. I then have to click elsewhere and back on the mask for the issue to disappear.  Before you ask, Photoshop, Camera RAW, and Windows 11 are all up-to-date 🙂

If anyone is able to help, im having a new strange issue in Photoshop where any tool that uses a preview cursor (eg. brush, clone stamp, dodge, smudge), the icon for the cursor doesn't follow where the mouse is on the page. This doesnt happen with tools like select or pen that arent dynamic. As you can see in the below image, the makers on the ruler correctly identify where the brush actually is, but the brush curser is stuck to the left. If i change the cursor eg. pressing space bar for the hand, the cursor for the brush will remain in whatever place the hand was when I let go of space bar. Annoyingly this also makes it difficult to screenshot or record as activating that requires pressing CMB which activates the move tool. Mac OS Sequoia, Photoshop 27.2, M3 Max Macbook

i am a bit rusty with my photoshop the ok button to apply my changes seems to have disappeared i am asked to calculate a more accurate histogram the snapshot shows the original image asking to calculate a more accurate histogram the next image is after the new histogram and adjustments the last shows levels as i remember it with the ok button etc down the rh side possibly now do you just press the cross in the top rh corner replacing the ok button thanks Dave       [Topic changed from Phone to Windows]      

Hello everyone,I'm trying to create a JavaScript script for Photoshop with the following goal:To distribute several selected layers horizontally or vertically using a fixed pixel spacing, for example:If I give a horizontal spacing of 15 pixels, then I want the following:(width of Layer 1) + 15px + (width of Layer 2) + 15px + (width of Layer 3)Something equivalent to the "Distribute Horizontally" function of the Move tool, but allowing me to enter the exact pixel value in an EditText field for horizontal and another for vertical, with Layer 1 as the reference point, all through a ScriptUI. 

Hi! Please let me know what is there with PS 27.2 (MBP M2), as the selection tool Opt-Cmd-R does do its things completely own, that means, that it doesn't know anymore as to how change the brush size using the keyboard, or how to (increase) decrease the brush size using the Option key?? Some 2-3 boots. The same thing appears again. Is there some data in the PS file preventing the the right doing??

Hello, I inverted an image and tried putting in a color overlay to color it. Although that layer it lists a color overlay, the color did not change. How can I get the color overlay to work? Is there a better way to color in an inverted image?

photoshop 2025 (26.11.0) on mac running sequoia 15.4 1.  i have an action that creates a curve layer for soft proofing.  the action loads a curve preset and turns the layer visibility off so i can toggle it on later as needed.  2. i created another action that turns this curve layer on, among other things.  So a typical scenario is that i save my file, then run the second action which turns on the curve layer plus other steps.  there is no "Layer Visibility" history state for the turning on of the curves layer, but the other steps of the action are there in history.3.  when i return to the history state that is marked as the point where i saved with the text "(Save)" the curve layer is not turned off.   Expected result: when i run an action that changes layer visiblity there should be a layer visibility history state.  and, when i return to the (Save) history state, it should not have a layer visible that was actually not visible when t

i try updating a cople apps today but the cloud keep telling me to stop or turn of active procesing but i don't have anything active or on the apps at all. so i am turning to this comuty to help me so i can update my apps as soon as possible please and thank you 

The video instruction shows there's a drop down on the image file name to be able to resize it. I do not have tht drop down option. I can't see how to resize my image. 

alguien sabe si hay algun error, con generative expand? ya instalé la última version de photoshop y no sirve mi herramienta
