27.10 is slow saving files: 1) Super slow (20 seconds to save a 4K resolution .JPG file.) 2) Erroneous warnings that the file has been updated (it's hasn't) before saving. 3) PS seemingly locking up when saving. Reverting to the prior version of PS (27.9.1) cleared up all the issues. OneDrive being enabled or disabled didn't make a difference.Open and edit any PS .PSD or JPG file. Try to save it. Wait and wait and wait.

One particular font on my system (Highway Gothic) suddenly has a bug on Photoshop. I’ve used it daily for 2 years and it continues to work without issue on other applications (including Adobe Animate). On Photoshop, this particular font resizes the text cursor so ridiculously large it’s unusable. This began last week randomly. See the attached screenshot – default settings, 6 pt at 300 DPI, the cursor is more than double the size of the canvas. Have tried deleting/reinstalling the font, deleting Photoshop’s font cache, the settings file, updating, resetting the character panel, and restarting my computer. I can’t get this font to go back to working normally.  

Using Photoshop 2026 on Mac mini running Mac OS Tahoe 26.4 & I can't do anything... currently trying to use the eraser tool on a mask to refine some edges but I either get the spinning beach ball of death or nothing happens at all. Even just trying to make the selection to create the mask, every time I clicked the mouse it was just a spinning beach ball. I can't get anything done… I’m getting spinning beach balls just trying to close Photoshop.  My Mac mini is fully up to date, I have updated all Creative Cloud apps to most current version, and I restarted my computer… the problem has persisted through all of this.

I’m using a MacBook Pro.  I’ve changed nothing either in PS or my computer since last use.

I would like to add another production example of this issue.We work with large numbers of Photoshop EPS files in a professional retouching and colour-managed production workflow. Since using Photoshop 27.10, I receive the following warning when opening these files:“This document contains Adobe Photoshop data which appears to be damaged. Continue and ignore the Photoshop data?”The files continue to open after clicking OK and the image data appears visually intact. However, I have noticed an additional problem which may be important for colour-managed workflows.The affected EPS files open in Photoshop 27.10 as Untagged CMYK.Our production EPS files normally contain an embedded CMYK ICC profile, so Photoshop appears to be failing to read or retain this information when the warning occurs.Because these are production files used for colour-critical retouching, losing the embedded CMYK profile is potentially more serious than the warning message itself.I have therefore reverted to an earlie

Can someone with actual technical knowledge of Photoshop explain what has changed internally with Artboards in recent versions?I am not looking for generic troubleshooting steps. Description of issueWhen I export edited photographs from Lightroom Classic as JPEG files, the exported JPEG files are assigned the export date as both their Created date and Modified date.The source RAW files show the correct original dates. In the past, JPEG files exported using this workflow retained the same Created date as the source RAW files. When I want to replace an element in a photo with generative generation, it doesn't work, and a window pops up saying to check my internet connection. But my internet connection is fine. Sometimes this feature worked well after updating the Windows operating system, but now I can't generate again. Please help!

Having experimented with Generative AI in Photoshop over the last weeks I am genuinely puzzled why at times the resultant will follow my instructions with fair results, at time be unable to translate my instructions to the image, and disturbingly often ignore my instruction entirely.To add to that it often generates 3 version of the mess it makes, thereby ‘costing’ me a substantial load of my credits, or worse extra credits I have paid for in addition to those in my Pro plan. A recent test was a lounge scene where I selected the couch (besides the only couch in the fairly plain scene) and asked it to change to the colour to a particular hex colour and a particular material. In addition I asked that those instructions aside the scene does not change in any way whatsoever. The result: it removed the couch entirely. And for this I lost a substantial amount of my DAI credits. 😖Why? Edit:I’d also like to add that I Adobe a) can clearly see the results are neither saved nor exported and b)

Each time I open photoshop I get a pop-up box   (Couldn’t open the edit log file Photoshop edit log. Edit logging is disabled). Question- Where do I go to enable it?  Thanks in advance.

Hi, I have Photoshop installed in Italian (like all my other Adobe software). To use certain Actions, I need the interface to be in English. Is it possible to add the language so that I can choose which one to use each time in Photoshop's preferences? If that's not possible, how can I install Photoshop in English? I tried uninstalling it, then changing the language in the Creative Cloud app, and reinstalling Photoshop, but it's still in Italian.Thanks 

This issue came up either way earlier this year or last year, I seem to have it show up at least once a year and I can never remember each time how to stop it.But this week photoshop was just fine until a couple days ago or so and now it asks me every single time if I want to save anyways…...uhh yes?  How do I get rid of this notification?nothing is being changed on it, nothing is accessing it any differently than the week/year prior, I literally have not done anything different…...just started on new edits, that’s it.I don’t do anything different in lightroom, it sits in the background exactly the same as it always is when I transfer it over to photoshopI can’t remember what the heck it was I had to do before to stop this random event.  Was there some new update that randomly change settings for no reason?  I already tried going into file handling and told it to NOT ask, but it still asks anyways.   

Remember early Firefly? The one that misunderstood and made such funny wonky images? I need that back. It was fun. Now and then I made a crazy card for someone. A musician friend surrounded by obviously alien musician types. The IOU card for a new desk for my partner - with a picture of a strange multicolored growing computer desk with oddball characters coming out of the screen. I collect a bunch of images from Firefly, and select pieces of them to composite the image I’m after, and I tend to chuckle all the way through. New firefly editions are variously useful and/or frustrating - but they are too serious. Can we have early fun Firefly in a list forever so we can access it?

I’m having trouble selecting a layer using the keyboard shortcut on my Mac (Command-click on the layer icon). It works for some layers but not this one. I’ve never had this problem before. The layer was a smart object and I had used a displacement map to alter it. When the smart layer didn’t select, I rasterized it, but it still didn’t work. Maybe related (I’m not sure), I encountered another strange issue: when I created the file, I pasted in a man from another file. It was raster. I then duplicated the layer and resized this new layer. But when I go into the Camera Raw filter to adjust the exposure (Command-Shift-A on my Mac), it shows me the man in its original size (not the resized image)! What is happening?Thx. PS I just tried to select the man using the Object Select tool and it selected it! Now I’m confused. I’ve never encountered this problem before. The Select Subject button also works. These are working both on the smart object layer and the rasterized layer.

When I color select and delete what I have selected, the selected portion of the layer just changes opacity. My fuzziness is set to zero, and it never did this before this week, so I don’t know what’s going on.This was a test demonstration^ the original blue was the color of the swatch.

I have tried to report this as a bug but the page is not working.Bug using the crop tool - If you reduce the size of a crop whilst the fill is set on "content-aware fill" PS shows a program error and the CA progress message appears on the screen.A restart of PS is required to clear the error message V27.10.0Windows 11

Photoshop 2026 will not open.  It starts to boot but then just disappears/crashes.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times.  I have tried starting and holding ctrl/alt/shift.  I have tried closing all the adobe related programs in Task Manager.  This is infuriating while trying to work with clients.   Can anybody shine any light on this for me?

This has happened before - I open Photoshop and I get the error message that PS couldn’t load the actions and then they are now gone.  Please tell me there is a way of recovering these.  I generally back them up every month or so, but I had just created a couple of new actions last week and I haven’t backed those up.(I am so sick and tired of this program glitching and either dumping the actions or dumping my keyboard shortcuts that I have set.  I have saved my custom workspace before and EVEN THAT is getting dumped at random, for no reason.)

On moving onto the AI assisted in Photoshop I keep getting the attached message..After closing Photoshop and then re-opening things are ok and the image opens. Does anyone know what the message means? It means nothing to me.

We use a lot of action sets for work and I need to move them between computers. Previously, when i would record a script or a Guide Layout in a PS action, as long as i put them in /Applications/Adobe Photoshop 2026/Presets/Guides, they would only display the name and not the exact path. This meant when I updated PS versions, the guides and scripts would relink seamlessly. This is no longer the case. Now my options are to re-record opening the script, load the preset, make one small change, then change it back, then press OK. This records the values but i lose the visual name of the custom guide showing in my action set. ALTERNATIVELY, i have to re-record the guide to the newest version location (which means i’d have to do that each time i update). Storing the guides outside of that location opens up a can of worms for when i move these action sets to another computer. Anyone have tips? Is this a bug?
