So since you keep changing Photoshop you have broken the basics of it. Again...Image size window. Click off the resample button and change the resolution BUT it still changes the image dimensions to match the new resolution I input! WHY?! Its acting as though the resample button is clicked on. This and the indesign window bar not being mouse responsive is driving me insane today...

Hi, I am currently using Photoshop 27.1.0 on MacOS Tahoe 26.1. I wanted to experiment with ways to prepare an image for silkscreen printing, but then I stumbled upon this problem: when using a gradient map adjustment layer, I cannot use transparent stops anymore. I find this really annoying. It seems there is a workaround in this post: https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-discussions/missing-opacity-option-in-gradient-editor/m-p/13877588 but I find it to be very confusing and unintuitive. Please can you just let me use a transparent stop in an adjustment layer? I don't know as which conversation type I should categorize this, but I'll choose "bug" since if I remember correctly, this function used to be there, but now isn't working anymore. Sorry if it's the wrong category.

In photoshop, with the clone stamp, if you inadvertently double click while pressing Alt/Option to set the clone source, align will get checked.  I do that constantly, always unaware that I'm doing it, and always having to uncheck the align box.  Is it possible to set some parameter that will disable (not turn off but disable) the align feature?  I'm guessing there isn't, but I thought I'd give it a shot.

Olá pessoal! Estou com um problema que esta acontecendo no meu macbook pro 2019 (i7), quando utilizo o photoshop e vou utilizar o recurso mission control do mac, ele praticamente fica completamente lento, isto só esta acontecendo nessa versão 2025 e 2026 do photoshop. Eu possuo outro macbook exatamente igual, porém a versão do PS é 2024, e não é mais possivel baixa-la no Creative Cloud, por isso não atualizei o outro macbook. Nele não tem esse problema. Alguém já pasosu por isso e conseguiu resolver?  

Pues eso, que la caja de texto no modifica el interlineado cuando elijo la nueva opcion de "texto dinámico". No hay manera de alterar la altura.

Seit ca. 6 Wochen habe ich ein Problem mit einer PS Erweiterung, die bis dahin seit vielen Jahren in den unterschiedlichsten PS Versionen (V25/26/27/) einwandfrei funktionierte.Seit einem Update Anfang November wird beim Start der Applikation aber folgenden Fehlernachricht angezeigt:Erweiterung konnte nicht geladen werden, da sie nicht ordnungsgemäß signiert wurdeIch hatte am 11.11.2025 den Support kontaktiert und hatte mit dem Support sehr viel Austausch hin und her. Es gibt dazu zwei Tickets (ADB-42516425-X8Q2 und ADB-42625815-Y3W1), die aber vom Support geschlossen wurden. Von Adobe wurde ich aufgefordert telefonisch Kontakt aufzunehmen, damit man ein Telefonat mit einem Mitarbeiter des Technischen Support organisiert, der mir dann bei der Lösung beihilflich sein sollte. Die Versuche scheiterten leider, ich habe den Telefonsupport mindestens 3x kontaktiert und dann immer wieder auf einen vereinbarten Rückruf (an mehreren Tagen, insgesamt ca. 10 Std) vergeblich gewartet.Alle Versuche

Photoshop has added some cool features over the years, but reliability isn't one of them.  They system is much more unstable that it has ever been before.  Consistent crashes, freeze-ups, etc. 

how do i print a photo in photoshop? 

After the last update, the floating AI window has disappeared. I can still do some AI stuff if I right click on a selection, and choose it from the dropdown menu, but the pop-up that appeard with any selection is no longer there. Have they removed it, or is this a bug?

A large number of my images after being processed in both PS 26.11.0 or 27.1 were about 100 to 160mb.. After saving them, the  PSD file increased to 3 to almost 5 times.  A 160mb image in Image Size grew to 665mb in the Finder after saving it.  Adobe support verified the issue. We found this does not happen on all images but enough that my hard drive filled up rapidly with hundreds of images over 300mb.  Adobe had no solution, but suggested I report this to this community.  She will also be reporting it, but the case was closed. stating that a future update would be the remedy.  I am using a Mac Mini, and this issue occurred on images with the new Tahoe OS 26.1  and the previous  OS Sequoia 15.

Define brush preset stays greyed out. I open my logo file in PS then select all. Define brush tool stays greyed out. What am I doing wrong. This always worked fine in earlier versions. I'm am working on a brand new MacBook Pro M4.

I edit multiple images for my Etsy shop at one sitting. I REALLY miss my option to save all the open files in their original formats (jpg) with one action. Now, I have to click through several options on EACH individual image to be able to save as .jpg. Surely there is a way around this??? It is terribly annoying. Thanks!

Hi everyone,I'm using a plugin (see here) to export and import text and I was wondering if anyone has a script to batch process multiple PSDs for cases like this? I have an old Photoshop 7.0 which works fine. Every so often a 01 will appear at the top. I go to View and uncheck slices which removes it. Today when I go to view I don't see slices. I see Lock slices and Clear Slices both of which are unchecked. How do I get rid of the 01

Hello all,I am a photographer and need some advice I guess ... Here is the situation: When I load a raw image from the camera into Photo Mechanic, the IPTC metadata stored in Photo Mechanic (PM) is loaded onto the image. I then select the images in PM by tagging them and mark them with a color class. After I have done this, there are two files in the corresponding original directory on the hard drive: the original .NEF file and an .XMP file with the same name.I continue to edit the images with Adobe Camera Raw (ACR) by starting Photoshop straight from PM and perform color correction and tone value correction. I then save the edited images from ACR into .dng format to the same directory where the .NEF and .XMP files are already located. After saving from ACR, there are now three files (.NEF, .XMP, and .dng) in the directory. At this point, all metadata (captions, tagging, color class, etc.) from the RAW file is still correct and preserved in the .dng file.I then close ACR by clicki

Photoshop has problem open DNG files sometimes however it is possible to open it in Camera Raw. What with it? Why it is happened?
