Impossible to use the text on pickture - suddently. Do I need to uninstall it before I try to reinstall it ?

I purchased PSE 2026, and now I want to use my email (other providers). I entered my information and clicked "validate."I immediately received the message: "Login information validated."You might think this wouldn't be a problem.But as soon as I try to send even the smallest file (photo), I get the message: "The connection has been disconnected."What am I doing wrong or am I missing something?Thanks in advance for your help.Jan - Holland

Have you ever noticed this before?   I was goofing around in quick mode and stumbled across a "AI assistant" in pse 2026, while playing around in quick mode.  Anyone else notice/see/ use it?You access it using the icon just to the left of the envelop icon in the upper right corner of the program screen,SIDENOTE:  The things in the pictures are not pine cones or mushrooms.   I found them on a trail on my property.

Wann kommt endlich die Unterstützung in Photo Elements zum öffnen und bearbeiten von RAW Dateien "CR3" der Canon R6 Mark 3 ? 

I am using Photoshop Elements on Windows 10 64 bit home edition. I am having a multitude of problems today with things not working. the latest thing is I made a picture that I wanted to enlarge. I uploaded it to an AI enlarger company. Have never had trouble before. today after downloading the enlarged image, PE would not open the file. I get a notice that something is wrong??? What is the Problem??? 

I just installed PSE 2026 and besides it crashing multiple time-very irritating because of losing lots of work done on photots and having to start all over!  Furthur annoying because I keep saving my work multiple times a session just so I wont have to start at the beginning again!  Besides that- I dont NOT see the Liquify anywhere in filters, and I also used to Windows menu to chose options as I watched multiple videos on it.Does anyone else have this issue with the newer version.  Wishing I didnt pay for the upgrade as my other ones worked better and barely ever crashed

Bonjour, Sur photoshop Elements 2026, fraichement installé sur un MacMini de 2025, je recontre des problèmes de lenteur inexplicables que je n'est pas sur la version 2025 encore installée. L'outil "recadrage" par exemple est inutilisable, chaque tentative d'action met 10 à 15 secondes pour être visible à l'ecran et s'ensuit un enchainement de rotations, déplacements en 2 secondes. Il n'est même pas possible de sortir, d'annuler tant que les 10 à 15 secondes soit écoulé. Bref je ne peux pas me servir de cette mise à jour, Retour à la version 2025.

I was looking for my 2025 sub to download and correct corrupted files on my PC when I somehow triggered a version 2026 sub. Didnt think anything of it until I got an email from adobe ready to charge my card. Whatever I did, I don't want 2026 but there is no way I can find the "cart" wherein this transaction is waiting. Certainly nothing in the email. Suggestions please?

I have Photoshop ELements 2026. Version 26. I'm wanting to create a slideshow. I've chosen my images in Organizer and clicked Create Slideshow. The only options I have are Media, Music, and Themes. That is it. I do not have any options to change speed, add text, etc. There is no editor at all. I just contacted Adobe support. I shared my screen with him. After trying to help me figure it out, which took well over a half hour, he said there are no editing options. It's just media, music, and themes. Period. No editing. Is that the way it's supposed to be?? Why would anyone even want to use it? There are other (free!) programs out there that will have so many more options.

I am working on a five layer composite. I know I am on the correct layer (layer two). I want to use the clone tool or the spot healing tool, neighter will work. Again, I know I am on the correct layer, the tools should work but they don't. What is the problem??? Please do not ask me to send a screen shot of the problem because I can not send anything that does not exist and when the tools do not work---nothing exists to see. 

PSE does not replace existing type after I type it until/unless I click the check box. This is super annoying, as I can't see what I'm typing as I type it. I never had this issue in PSE 11. I see that other users have had this problem in other versions of PSE but there doesn't seem to be a solution in those threads. And yes, I have tried all the usual fixes:- I've set the font size correctly (small enough for the text box).- I'm using a dark font on a light background. The text shows up fine AFTER I click the check box.- I've tried both with and without the "use graphics card" performance option in Preferences. Doesn't make a difference.Is there an actual fix for this problem that just hasn't been added to the earlier threads? I sure hope so! 

I have elements 2025 and recently got Topaz Photo.  I process a .nef raw file through topaz and export it back to the original folder as a .dgn file.  When I open the .dgn file in PE 2025 I get a message "to open this file, install the camera raw plug in from the Help menu ". I have installed it and reinstalled it.  I can open .nef files from my Nikon camera in camera raw so camera raw seems to be working fine. Can anyone help me with this? Without a fix my option seems to be get rid of topaz and try another denoising program.  Everything I have read says topaz and PE 2025 should work together. thank you

I am trying to install Photoshop Elements 2021 on a new Windows 11 laptop. I receive error code 1 that indicates that my Creative Cloud programs should be corrupted. However I have not installed Creative Cloud?I planned to upgrade to Photoshop Elements 2026 but will I have the same problem then? Do I have to install Creative Cloud to be able to install Photoshop Elements? 

I inserted/pasted an image onto an existing image. I DO NOT see the handles/control on the 4 corner of the newly pased image that would allow me to MOVE or RESIZE the image. Can someone please tell me where do I make changes on the setting to enable this function in PhotoShop Element 2025 ?

elements makes two copies of each image I download. verified only 4 on card, download to canon utilies and only 4 images captured but elements doubles each image.latest firmware installed on camera (1DXMK2) and elements 2025 upgraded to 2026 a few days ago. Did it on elements 2025 and continues on 2026, Any ideas?

I recently updated my Macbook and for whatever reason, my 2021 version of Elements was no longer recognized. I purchased the 2026 version and I am so sad I did! I work with RAW files - apparently this version does not play well with those files. It's slow, will randomly crash, and I cannot do many of the editing things I used to be able to do with no problem (for example, it takes AGES to crop an image, I cannot add text, I cannot turn the image into B&W, I cannot use the 'smooth skin' feature to name a few that I used all the time with my old version). I get this warning when trying to do certain things: "Could not perform the requested action because Photoshop Elements provides only limited support for files with 16 bit color depth. Do you want to convert the image to 8 bit?"So anyway, I'm just super disappointed I purchased this version because I work with all RAW files. I should not have purchased and want to make sure other's don't make the same mistake I did!

I have tried to answer this question for myself by looking at a previous thread, however this got very long and complicated and I think with multiple catalogs involved has just left me a little confused. Would realy appreciate some advice please on the following.  I store all of my image files on an external hard disk (and ensure this and the catalog gets periodically backed up onto separate drives in case I lose the original drive for any reason).  So for this exercise I just want Elements 2025 (already loaded onto both old and new PC) to have the current catalogue on the new PC.  I then just plug the external drive into the new PC and in theory keep everything joined up and the database intact (I realise the external drive must be mapped with the same letter when connected). I could do a full backup (catlog and images), restore this onto the new pc and then move all the image files back onto the external hard disk where they started from, but this does seem r

I have freshly installed Windows 11 on a blank hard drive, and cannot now run my copy of Adobe Photoshop Elements 12. Installation proceeded fine, but when starting the program it prompts me to log in and activate the application, even though I entered a valid serial nubmer on install. Upon signing in using the link, nothing happens. Elements 12 is registered to my account when checking the products page of my account, but the program refuses to start. I have not been able to find any support pages that address this issue and there is nother support contact link I can find. Please assist.

In de oudere versies van PSE kon ik een afbeelding of gedeeltelijke afbeelding kopiëren  of verplaatsen  naar een andere afbeelding in het fotovak. Die kon ik gewoon slepen naar onder naar een foto in het fotovak.In PSE2026 lukt dat niet meer.

Hello, I have a license for Adobe Photoshop Elements 9. When I try to activate it, it tells me it's already activated on two other PCs andthat it therefore cannot be activated on a third PC. I don't have access to the PCs on which I previously activated the license. I accessed my Adobe online account, and I can see the software with the license, butif I go to "Activated Devices," the list is empty. Is it possible to deactivate the license on the first two PCs?Can I contact Adobe to have them do it? Thank you for your help 🙂

Hi .. I need to print circular photos 58mm diameter ( Xmas photo's of the grandkids).I created a blank file 58mm x 58mm and copied the circular section I needed onto this file, and printed at actual size. It worked fine except the image was exactly in the centre of the A4 sheet. I have tried everything to re-position the images but am stuck, and unless I can find a way I'm going to need 5 sheets of A4 😞If I print an ordinary image it goes to top left of sheet, it's just the files I created that centre in the middle.One other thing I noticed is when I go File - Print - More Options, the "one photo per page" is always greyed out and I can't change it. Can anybody help please ?thanks

Have even tried 3 different AI engines to solve this and got nowhere. AI says it is a known bug? Even when I create a new/blank document, a link icon shows up immediately next to the background layer. I can make the background into a regular layer, which also shows up with a link icon. Any new layer has a link icon. Unlinking the layers is like trying to chase a cat. It turns off on one layer and shows up on another. Trying to flip one layer horizontal flips ALL layers horizontal. Auto-select Layers is off. Layers are not grouped.  Image is flattened. On Mac Tahoe 26.1, using PE 2026 Editor, Advanced setting. Any/all help is greatly appreciated.

Platform: macOS Sequoia on an M1 Mini, 16GB RAM Photoshop Elements was working great but after a few days, would freeze, giving a beach ball, and upon force quit zero out the open files. See the attached image. The "RECREATED" file was just that, and it too was zeroed out. I thought that the fact that I was using a network share might be part of the problem, so I saved to the local APFS disk. I experienced the exact same problem. I submitted the crash reports when promted and really, really hope Adobe can resolve this. This is terrifying, especially having used Photoshop (non-Elements) for decades and considered it the most reliable software I use.
