Saludos
I have used Premiere Pro on a Surface Book 2 without any issues for at least five years. I am running Windows 11. My HD space is a little lean at 250GB, and I have 16GB of RAM. The laptop is equipped with an Nvidia GTX 1060 GPU. I use an external drive as my working project folder with over 800GB of free space. The Creative Cloud suite is the only software installed on the computer at the moment. Since the latest Adobe update a month ago, I started having issues with Premiere. I am building a simple slideshow with 20 photos using a MOGRT I downloaded from one of the services I subscribe to. The MOGRT is only 2 minutes long. When I place the MOGRT on the timeline, Premiere starts running sluggishly and sometimes freezes and closes. I reopen Premier and purge the cache. I then load the project and continue to place the photos in the placeholders, and after 30 minutes, the program starts to misbehave again. After a while, I get a message telling me I am low on resources. It is frust
I'm fairly new to video editing in Premiere Pro, and am trying to use it to create social media videos with video of me commentating sports, while dubbing in the audio of my commentary from a separate audio file. I just uploaded a video into Premiere Pro, but when I drop the video in and begin playing it, it plays faster than if I just play the video in my computer's regular media player. I've changed the input settings, ensured the playback speed isn't set to more than 100% but it still plays like it's on fast forward. Is there some way to fix this without having to surgically pick apart the playback speed, which makes it harder to exactly sync up my audio and video files together?
Na própria atualização disse que mudou de lugar, só que mesmo procurando onde foi indicado que estava. Não consigo mais editar a legenda(mudar fonte, cor da legenda, tamanho...)Alguém já descobriu como muda?
I usually listen to music on Spotify or YouTube while I edit videos in Premiere and all of a sudden, I can't do that anymore! There seems to be a new feature which stops all other music/sound from other programs while Premiere is being used. I couldn't find anything in the settings of both Premiere and Spotify to fix this. This is a huge problem for me because I edit for long hours and it gets really boring without music playing in the background.Anyone else experiencing this and have found a solution? Thank you in advance!
Hi All,I've recently started collecting clips on my Playstation 4 for editing. Now the issue is when I import said clips into Premiere, if it is a full 10-minute video the audio will cut out after a certain time. (image attached)Now this issue does not happen if I trim the clip in the PS4 Gallery (however, quality is severely reduced)Is there a way to fix it without converting it? The clip plays fine in all media players with no loss of sound.
I'm working on my first very low budget feature, which now has a completed fine cut. I'm not incredibly confident with the technical side of filmmaking (at least at this level), but nevertheless was able to edit my film with the help of a couple of young assistants, who are currently unavailable. We need an AAF file of all the sound, to hand over to the sound specialists. We'll also need a quicktime of the visuals along with burned in timecode, and a countdown with a 2 pop. Something will have to be repositioned, because the first frame is supposed to be at the one hour mark although it's currently at 0. The thing that confuses me, though, is the issue of sequences. Once my assistant and I finished the fine cut, he strung the individual sequences of scenes together into one larger sequence of the whole movie. But...this combined sequence only displays one combined audio track visually. So my first question is... will all of the audio files export properly from this
We're running into a thing on a Premiere Production where, when some of us type something in the Search bar in a bin/project in the production, the search doesn't work. Ex. typing in "S0775" (our archival number) brings up that clip in the project on my Mac, but not on my colleagues' Macs. We're currently on Premiere 2024 (planning to upgrade to 2025). My colleagues are in NYC and using Jump Desktop to remote in. I'm in L.A. and not Jumping in.
I have some archival that should be 4:3 but the file I received is 16:9 (640x360). Is there a way, other than putting the clip in a sequence, selecting the clip, Effect Controls / deselect Uniform Scale, to make it 4:3? The skinniest pixel I have access to in Interpret Footage is DV (0.9091). I guess the pixel aspect ratio should be 0.75 (480 divided by 640)? A drawback of deselecting Uniform Scale is if my editors want to do push ins, etc. Without putting the clip in a Nested Sequence (a real hassle within a Production, as the Nested Sequence will keep getting duplicated every time we copy the sequence into another project), it's a challenge to quickly audition a push in without doing a bunch of math.
New to Premiere, so please don’t come for me xDI added the Transform effect to an image in Premiere and adjusted the scale and position. However, after using Dynamic Link to add an effect in After Effects, the image’s position and scale changed. Is my workflow wrong, or is there a simple way to fix this? I know I could manually change the values back to what they were originally, but it seems very illogical to have to do this for every image. Thanks in advance!
Hi everyone, I’m having an issue with Adobe Premiere Pro after linking proxy files created from my Sony FX30 footage. Once I attach the proxies, the thumbnails in the Project panel turn completely black. However, when I hover the mouse over them, the preview appears. This problem started about a month ago — before that, everything worked fine. What I’ve tried so far: Uninstalled and reinstalled Premiere Pro Cleared all Media Cache files Checked different project settings My system: AMD Ryzen 5 5600 Sapphire RX580 4GB 48GB RAM I don’t think it’s a hardware issue since the exact same setup used to work without problems.I’m attaching a screenshot for reference. Has anyone experienced this issue or found a solution? Thanks in advance!
I have a video I'm trying to export from premiere and for some reason won't make it past the encoding stage without the program crashing or giving me an error. I've troubleshooted the last few days trying a bunch of different things from clearing media cache to changing export settings to completely reinstalling the program, but the same thing keeps happening reporting with a new error almost every time. I am officially lost now. From what I've gathered so far I've had errors related to frame retrieval, bad disk allocation, memory almost full, etc. I'm thinking it has something to do with RAM since the task manager was showing up to 98% of memory usage during the export, but I haven't found any memory-clearing solutions or otherwise that fix my problem. All of my drivers and apps are updated, and I am using a windows 11 computer with an intel i9 CPU, rtx 4080 GPU, and 32GB of RAM. Any ideas?
Advertise on Reddit I have a client that shoots mixed frame rates with their cameras. (Weddings) They want a final deliverable in 24fps (or 23.97 whatever the lowest common denominator camera is). These are big exports. Some 30 minutes long in 4K.I am continually running into an issue where my export will stutter, freeze, desync, etc. Whatever it is renders the product undeliverable. After laboring for hours and pulling my hair out, I had a workaround that appeared to finally be working, although extremely tedious. I got through a couple of sub-20 minute exports with my workaround that were clean with a repeated process. Thought awesome, we're in the clear, but now on this most recent export the workaround failed and the same issue has arisen. These videos are long, and even with checking playback in double-time, between the timeline rendering, exporting, and double checking, I am losing my sanity and don't know what to do anymore as the clock is burning away. The primary editor for thi
Hi there,i am trying to open up the tutorials inside Premiere Pro. When i click on them, the project will open, but all windows are staying black. I can import the "onboarding loop" or "going home project" folder, but i still dont get any tasks or messages. Adobe Premiere Pro version number: 23.1.0 (Build 86)Operating system - Windows10 21H2 (19004.2486)Steps to reproduce - open Premiere Pro, on home screen open any "in program tutorial"Expected result - a textbox or video footage should appear with steps to learn how to use premiere proActual result - project opens up, but everything stays black and blank i changed the upper right panel to "training". I reinstalled Premiere Pro twice and another time with the Adobe CC cleaner. In Illustrator the tutorials are working fine.
Hi community My MacBook Pro was recently reset to diagnose a problem (of oxidation). That seems to have reset my Mac, and that seems to have updated my Adobe Premier Pro 2020 to the 2025 version which prevents me from editing project. Tried everything to te Connect to my original recordings. Any urgent tips ir number to call in London?
I have a bunch of missing links, they are all comps from the same After Effects file, but I seem to have to relink them all one by one. Ive tried selecting multiple and clicking 'locate', but I still have to manually select the same AE file with each one. Is there no way to do them all at once?
I noticed that transcription cannot be RESET, even if you delete a track or hide one and click again on create trasncriptionProof is that even if you do it you see the same captions from beforeThe thing is in my video transcription was made in english, with lot of errors becuase it is not in english:I tried to redo it (restart the process of transcription)I cannot! As you can see you can no longer select a langage, or restart/reset the transcription once it is has been done once,How to do solve this?
Here: it does not move!I cancelled it earlier and retried in a new porject, because the previous project would only transcribe in english and there was no loner an option to restart transcription (in another langage heck even in english) Si there anyway to make the bar move? What's this bug?

Hi, my premiere pro 25.4.1 has suddenly become extremly slow. Kind of unworkable. Maybe a coincidence but it started when I upgraded my MacOs to Sequoia 15.6.1 I work with a big project, just over 200 MB. I've tried to start a new project and import the main sequence of our film, and the project then landed on 20 MB, but with no result. Of course I´ve tried cleaning cache, working on low resolution and with proxies. Just about to finish this project but this makes it very difficult. Any help or tips in sight?Best Johan
Hello, maybe this is my fault for defining a variable with the same name twice? In this codeThe "line"s read are from a "filepath" variable located elsewhere in the code (waay below), whereas it should have taken the value given to it just above it! (In other words the value given at the top is ignored and it keeps pointing to a new value given way later (after the IF))I don't know if I can reproduce it with a non personal code, but the description is that I have a :1) var filepath = xxx (top of the code)2) Then I read its line with var line (inside the IF, below the first filepath definition)3) later in the code I have a new var filepath = yyy (after the IF is done and line = xxx done)The problem is that during (2) the "line" showed values from yyy not from xxx! As if extendscript "cached in" the latest value of filepath (yyy) THEN started running the code (the if... var line =..) which is written before. What's even more surprising is that I ran this code many times in
Hi everyone,I'm encountering a strange issue with Premiere Pro when it comes to iPhone video orientation and file names, and I’d appreciate any insights. Here’s the scenario: I record video on my iPhone and make sure to let the phone settle into the correct orientation (usually horizontal) before I start recording. Most of the time that works fine. Occasionally, if I have to start recording really quickly, the phone doesn’t catch the orientation in time and the video ends up sideways. To fix this, I’ve been rotating the video directly in the iPhone’s native camera app before transferring it to my Mac. When ingest the footage to my Mac using the Image Capture app, it actually creates two versions of the video: one with the original file name (with the incorrect, original sideways orientation) and one with an extra “E” in the file name that includes what I thought was a hardcoded rotation and any other edits. For example, I will end up with IMG_0001.MOV & IMG_E0001.MOVHere’s where it g
I'm on a shared computer and someone turned off Ignore Source Out Point when I cut a clip into my timeline from the source monitor (I prefer to set the out point on the timeline rather than in the Source Monitor). I know there's a way to turn the toggle back on so that Premiere asks me again which behavior I prefer, but I forget how to do it. Can someone remind me?
Hi there! I'm using Premiere Pro on my Macbook Pro, and one error I often make by mistake is using my touch pad to scroll over an effect window, accidentally editing the effect. For example, I might be scrolling down to see more effects, but because my cursor is placed in the middle of the effects box, I'll change the Format away from SMPTE to something different. Is there a way to turn off this function so that I can scroll without worrying about accidentally messing something up?Thank you,Zach
