Lumetri Color Custom LUT directory   Common question: Where do I place custom and third party LUTs?You may have read on the internet that you can add LUTs to the Premiere Pro application folder. DO NOT DO THIS!   Though placing LUTs in folders in the app package can work for a single user within Premiere Pro, the workflow falls apart once you update Premiere Pro to a new version, share a project, or even send a sequence to Adobe Media Encoder.   Beginning in version 12.1.2, follow these instructions for installing custom LUT files and to have them appear in the Lumetri Color panel. Everthing in Program window is slow to become available, lags in the same clip, pauses long time between clips. Audio works fine.I have deleted the cache files with the project closed. I have reset the preferences on startup. I reset the workspacesI installed the latest Studio DriverNvidia Studio Driver 576.80    Geforce RTX 4060Premiere Pro 25.3.0Primatte Studio in Continuum 20.25.0Using Lumetri ColorAudio hardware is set to System hardware, operating system:

This has been a known issue for a long time. You have multiple monitors and try using the color picker in Text, Lumetri, etc. and all it delivers back is the dark gray background of premiere. There are workarounds to this like opening only in your pimary monitor or making sure that all monitors have the same percentage sizing.I'm not gonna do any of those. I use multiple monitors of varying sizes and I'm not changing my entire workflow for a single feature that Adobe has failed to properly impliment. In the meantime, the easiest workaround is to literally use photoshop to get the color I'm after (sometimes after screencapturing a particular piece of footage).I can't wait to fully make the transition to Resolve. 

I create voiceover files in ElevenLabs. When I export them as a WAV file and import it into premiere Pro, it does not play back. The sound wave displays, so it is generating a PEAK file, but no audio is heard. If I import the file into Audition, it plays back there. I can also save the file from Audition, overwriting the original, import that into Premiere Pro, and that plays back fine.  Exporting the file as MP3 works fine, but that is not ideal for my purposes. Why doesn't Premiere Pro play back these WAV files (example file attached)? I'm on Win 11, PP v25.3.

When I watch the video in a player, I can hear the audio, but when I import it into Premiere Pro, I only get the video in the timeline or preview — no audio at all. I can't click on the drag audio section either; it's like it's offline or disabled. I can only drag and drop the video into the timeline.

On remote projects, effects information inserted into the plan is corrupted, and shot selections are transferred incorrectly on dual cameras. What should someone working remotely do to ensure this information is transferred correctly, or what should I do?

I never thought I would need to ask such question... Will make it short.So basically I have a project with 9 folders/bin and each one has 4-5 folders/bins inside.There is a bunch of videos and photos, and I need to remove the 2000+ Photos from my project.Easy, right? Just type .jpg in the search field select all and remove. Used to be the perfect solution for PP 2015, but not anymore! When typing something in the search field, premiere now shows you the entire folder/bin structure of the files you are looking for. Trying to select the first one, hold shift and select the last one will cause to select (and delete) all the folders in between and what's in them. Don't want that.Great let's create a search bin with .jpg. Search Bins does not allow you to delete what's in them.How can we select 2000+ .jpg files without selecting anything else? and being able to do whatever we want with them (delete, move, label, etc...) without it affecting what's in between?Is there a way to change the way

Recently updated to 2025 and when sitting at the launch screen, premiere is using a lot of CPU, specifically like, 4-6 threads near 100%. It should be doing nothing here. Once I launch a project, this abnormal usage goes away. The system is stable otherwise. Screenshot attached. You can see in HWInfo that Cores 3, 4, 5, and 13 all have high usage. The only other application running is HWInfo and Chrome, and you can see in task manager that they're using very little resources. The other two Apps not shown are Task Manager and Explorer. System Specs:Windows 10 Pro 22H2AMD Ryzen 9 3950XNVIDIA RTX 3090 FE64GB DDR4 3600MHz

I need help. I've never run into this issue. My subjects were shot in front of a green screen and well lit. When I keyed out the green screen in Premiere and put a different background behind them, these transparent areas on their clothing appeared. How can I fix this? Please tell me there is a way to fix it.... 

I have a Production where, in Scratch Disks, I'm pointing my auto save to "Same as Production". It appears to be putting autosaves (in Finder) in the folder each specific project is in. This is great. I'd like to NOT have that auto save folder show up in the Production Panel in Premiere. I'm an Assistant Editor; when I hand this off to an editor, I'd rather not have them see the auto saves in the Production Panel (to prevent them from working within an autosaved version of a project). How do I make the auto save folder not show up in the Production panel?

Hola, quiero hacer motion tracking con un video, y para ello necesito activar un par de herramientos haciendo click en el signo más del panel de visualizacion del video. Pero no activa ninguna herramienta, ninguna... estoy  hace rato viendo qué ocurre... ¿alguien sabe qué debo hacer? Las últimas interacciones con asistente virtual me han cortado sin siquiera asistir al problema, pago esto hace cuatro años y quiero usarlo bien...Gracias! PD: La imagen que adjunto muestra como aparecen las herramientas que deberian poder integrarse a mi modulo de trabajo pero al hacer click sobre ellas ninguna se incorpora, ninguna es agarrada. 

I'm on my Mac and somehow dragged the video preview into its own window.  Deleted the window thinking it would go back to normal but it did not show back up on the app.  I tried closing down the app and opening it back up again but this did not work.

I Have problem with Premiere 2025 in lumetri. I don't see any changes on my video files, using luts, contrast anyting change on preview. Does anyone have the same problem? 

Hello, This morning, Adobe automatically updated my Premiere Pro to its newest version (PP 25.0) and I've encountered an audio glitch that's been happening. At first, I thought my headphones were causing the problem, but in Premiere's audio hardware settings - everything is routed to the correct input/output.  The Problem: When I click on the timeline and press play on my video clip with edited audio, the quality is lost compared to what it should sound like. Then when I tested another audio source (from Spotify or a YouTube video in Chrome) the same poor quality is reflecting all of my audio sources on my computer.   I did another test of restarting Premiere Pro, unplugging and plugging my headphones back into my computer, and I got the same result.  Looking for some guidance to see if anyone else has this problem but I'm going to check with my IT department to see if they have any ideas on how to resolve this.  Thank you,  B

Currently, even if a Timeline panel is active, Markers are not visible. Markers become visible when I select one of the tracks. That is not correct. Markers are for a timeline. So they should be visible when Timeline is the active pane. Now markers are not visible. Although Timeline is the active pane. Now visible because I clicked inside a track (even though the track is empty)  

I spent some time brainstorming how to combine useful (but experimental) QE functions with the well documented ExtendScript library for Premiere Pro. Most importantly, I wanted to port over the getSelection() return values from regular trackItems into QEitems, that way I can do things such as addVideoEffect onto a user's selected clips. I made a QEgetSelection() function to accomplish this. It gets the user's selection as an array of trackItems and loops through each one to find its associated QEitem. These are returned in an array. In practice, QEgetSelection() should have similar functionality to getSelection(), plus a short buffering period. On my i7 RTX laptop, this function can collect roughly 500 track items in 0.65 seconds. Before implementing this, please note that the QE API is undocumented and unsupported. There's no guarantee this algorithm will work in future Premiere versions. I'm happy to hear any ideas on how this algorithm can be faster or more effic

Hi there, We're working with a client to put together a large list of names in a rolling credits over a simple JPEG image. The list of names, coming from a 17 page word doc, has been inserted into Premiere's essential graphics system. With such a long document, the program becomes highly unstable and largely unusable when making minor changes to formatting and placement of text.Does anyone have any experience getting the program to pick up the speed a bit when working with such a large amount of text in Essential Graphics? This seems like it should be a simple thing to render easily while remaining editable, but I'm looking at delays of around 5-6 seconds after a single click on a character, thus making any changes to a document this size a monumental waste of time. Hello, We're working with Automation blocks for a while now and we like the way how it works!Now we need some help, because where do we start if we want this:We need to create 150-200 sequences in Premiere, that are all based on one master sequence, the only change is that in a .mogrt we change a text (name of person). Let the script first read the .csv file we make (two rows: Name and Outputname), and then adjust mogrt and then duplicate and then change name of the sequence?

When several clips are selected, changing Speed/Duration or Rate Stretching only affects the last clip. It would be nice if it treats the selection as one clip, affecting each clip with the same amount.

Hello,Im encountering a problem which i cant seem to solve myself.As shown in the image premiere is rendering in some white artefacts around the edges of an alpha layer. It shows it in the preview monitor aswell as in the final export.Emptying the cache wont get rid of the problem, neither does re-importing the .mov file. Extra info:- The white dots seem to be less severe in screenshots, but the problem is way more apparent in the final export.- Sequence is UHD- Export is HD I hope someone can help me with this problem.

Recently, Premiere 24.6.4 started reporting an error code every time I launched a project. Unfortunately, I don't have a screenshot of the issue or the error code. It essentially said that playback was being interrupted, even though my program monitor and playback worked just fine.If I left the popup up and simply kept working, I didn't have any further issues.If I chose to close the popup, it would reopen within 10 seconds. If I kept repeating that step, it was an infinite loop of closing and reopening.Today, I decided to check the box that said "Never ask me again."Now, the error still seems to occur at the same period because my mouse and keyboard hang and can't select anything every 10 seconds. But there's no longer any popup.I've tried updating to the most recent version of 24, deleting and reinstalling different versions of 24, and resetting preferences.At this point, I just need to know how to enable Premiere to display the error code normally again. I am on PP 23.2.0 and Ventura 13.2.1. I am aware of the recent issues plaugeing PP 13.1, with that, I am using a brand new Macbook Pro M2 pro, 32 gb of ram. when ever i get a  pup up to access time mapping, changing the gain and so forth, when I hit ok it doesn't simply just disappear. I can see it slowly fade into the backgroud.  I watcht the activity monitor and it doesnt seemed taxed on the computer at all.
