Sorry for the "double post", but I felt it necessary to change the Subject to include "Object Mask".I can't find a way to edit my original post. Just installed Premiere 2026. Tried Object Masking and have the following issue:Once the mask is moved under Opacity in the Effects Panel, the Program Monitor in Premiere goes black.The only way to see the video is to either play the sequence or render the clip. Once playback stops, the Program Monitor goes black again if not rendered.This makes it difficult to adjust the mask. I'm not at my computer but here is the basic config:Windows 11 ProMSI Godlike MotherboardNVIDIA RTX5000 GPU: Driver: 581.57 (previous NVIDIA driver installed)128GB Rami9 processor (10900K 3.7GHz) No notifications from the system test tool on launch of Premiere. Thank you.Bob K.

Hey I am new to premiere                                                   My premiere crashes when I play the previewIt doesn't happens always but once in every 10 minutes.First The preview plays on mute for some seconds and than if I keep pressing space, it crashesSometimes it disconnect to my tws and get back to normal.I've already installed nvidia studio drivers.Since I am just figuring out this software, i will genuinely appreciate any help in solving this.

Is there a way to level out audio of 2 people speaking on 1 audio track? Currently 1 person sounds a lot louder than the other one and I’d like to make them the same volume.

I have some custom Preset that i need to delete. But the Delete button is grey out ( It never happen before). I only want to delete this exact Preset not the whole (Effect Presets and Custom Items.prfpset) file. Can anybody help or if this a bug than please fix.

When the videos are downloaded to my phone it’s clear but when I send them to my friend they are blurry

When I use the 1/2 or 1/4 resolution preview, I notice that some items in the composition change size. It seems to happen only with certain scaled images, not all of them. This doesn't happen with the complete preview.Is this a known bug, or is there a way to adjust the settings to prevent this (without having to switch the preview to full resolution)?

We shot in front of a white sheet for a music video. Material is well lit and of good quality.I apply the Object Mask to the Musician in front of the white sheet and it tracks him very nicely.When I apply the Mask to opacity it does not fully remove the background. There is still a vague outline of the white sheet.It is the only clip in the timeline so no influence from lower layers.When I want to export the footage with Alpha the residue of the background becomes painfully obvious.Thx for your help.

I want to blur a name with 100% blur when it is visible on the screen. When the name is not visible, I want the blur effect to be turned off (set to 0%). If the name becomes visible again later in the same clip, I want the blur effect to return to 100%.  Is this possible, and can it be done within the same clip using keyframes?We use Premiere 2026 version

Hi all, I've been looking on my hardrive for some old files, and found at least what I think is the audio portion. They're all .CFA and .PEK files. But I'm assuming the .CFA has the bulk of the data because of the size.I thought that Premiere Pro would be able to open the files, but it seems not. I've also tried Media Encoder, Premiere Elements, and Encore, but still nothing. Below is my process and error. Any help appreciated thanks! Since two weeks I guess, rendering (in the background) while editing is extremely slow. For a five minute video I have to wait for 30 minutes (render in to out). Even when it shows "green" after rendering, as soon as I just click on one clip, it immediately turns to "red". And the process starts again. This is no way of editing professioanlly. I even switched last week from a RTX 2080 to RTX 5080, hoping that would help. Nothing. Greetings Adobe Community,I am using the latest Premiere version 26.3.2. Getting into developing skills for kinetic typography motion graphics adverts. For now, we are not taking these too After Effects until we get the overall cuts, style and sound design, then we may push these to AE someday. As for now, we need to master these developments in Premiere first.One of the problems I am running into is in the properties panel versus text fill. I prefer to avoid the track matte key and/or nested sequences (something referred to as nasty nesting), and this is where it was discovered that a fill can be applied in relation to the text layer.So, I have the text layer selected with the text properties opened where I can apply a graphic fill, whether a still or video. I place this graphic fill under the text layer. In the property's options, the fill option is selected and !viola! the graphic fills the text. After one of the most recent updates, the mouse scroll wheel will only move the plahead in the timeline if you are hovering over the Playback Monitor timeline, rather than the before where you could hover over anywhere in the Playback Monitor. Otherwise you're just zooming in and out of the Playback Monitor.Not sure if this is considered a bug or not but it would be nice to be able to have a setting to turn this on or off. 

I don't know why, but since the update to 2025 (v25.0.0), Premiere Pro renders very, very... very slowly.Not every clip, but when I use certain effects (like Neat Video Denoiser) and the line is red, it takes hours to render a 1.5-minute clip.When I pre-render (by pressing ENTER), it works fine (a few minutes) and the line turns green. However, when I try to fully render the clip, it still takes over an hour. By the way, my Task Manager says only 11% of my CPU is in use. I also tried the Beta version of Premiere Pro – same problem. Every time I go to create proxy files, in premiere it says "creating proxies," but when media encoder loads, nothing happens, and none of the files load into the queue. I have the most recent versions of premiere and media encoder. I tried multiple clips from different projects, used custom ingest presets, and I even tried some of the default premiere ingest presets (which I usually wouldn't do because I like to create my own proxy ingest presets) Every time I give it a go, "creating proxies" comes up, media encoder loads, but then nothing happens.  Does anyone have any advice on what they think could be the problem? Hello!First, apologies if my terminology is wrong, relatively new to the broadcast space.We’re working on a project that uses lots of old scanned documents. Not always the best quality and some already jagged lines/edges on the original files. When exporting as H.264 for online streaming, everything looks great. When exporting for broadcast as MXF OP1a, XDCAMHD 50 NTSC, I keep getting these issues with some lines and some patterns with fine lines (old pictures from newspaper scans) when there is slow movement of the documents on screen.I’ve attached some images of sequential frames showing what I mean. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Is This Pop Up Necessary?"Are you the only person using your Adobe account?"I'm getting this pop up in Adobe Premiere Pro, and I must say it is becoming pretty annoying.I am a subscriber and I use my Adobe account on my two computers that are mine – one Windows PC and one Mac. I'm not sharing my Adobe account with anyone else – I'm just using it on my own computers wherever it is convenient.I know that it is necessary for Adobe to protect against any type of account sharing, but showing such warnings all the time to legitimate users is really unnecessary.A few questions for the community:Does anybody else that uses Adobe on both Windows and Mac getting this pop up?How often are you getting it?Is there anyway to turn off or at least to minimize such warnings when the two devices are mine?What makes Adobe show such a message?Shouldn't there be a better approach from Adobe regarding such use of account?I would really appreciate hearing from other users who use Adobe across multiple person

Premiere Pro 25.6.4Sequoia 15.7.3Am trying to Project Manage a project to pass along to another editor, but every time it hangs with the progress bar at whatever % that looks to beWondering how best to troubleshoot what’s causing the issue why Adobe doesn’t have a more detailed progress bar which could identify/ flag troublesome files  

More often than not, when I switch to a new workspace, the timelines that I had open change order. Even worse, some of them close. And when I go back to my Editing Workspace, it happens again.For me, switching between Workspaces contantly shifts and changes which timelines I have open. I want to use Workspaces, but when I do, they very often mess-up my flow.Does anyone know why this happens? And possibly how to fix it?

After upgraded to the very latest 2018 (April) update of Premiere Pro CC I can't use "Reveal In Project" anymore in Thumbnail view. It works only on list view. I tried several install/uninstall, different pc, cleared cache, new project/old project etc. But nothing happen.Sometime also project panel search bar greyed out too.I already updated and still working with 7 different project on this version of premiere, so i can't even go back to previous version.
