Hi!I made a video that I really want to upload to youtube. Its 120 fps and took me a long time to record and finish editing. 0 problems when editing and saving etc. I even was able to export a 5 minute long video of the same project a while ago. Since then, it keeps crashing in media encoder and also when I try to export it in Premiere Pro. Quicktime does work, but it ruins the color and I dont believe theres anything I can do to fix that. I tried rendering it in a lower FPS (60) and that also crashed. Its also good to note that it doesnt crash at a certain timestamp. It just crashes randomly. Sometimes instantly, sometimes after 3 min etc. I tried a lot of things and I’m truly lost. Other videos export easily so there shouldnt be anything wrong with my Premiere Pro or Media Encoder. I use Premiere pro 2024 and Media encoder 2024. I use H.264 and Adaptive High Bitrate (I also tried all the other ones like high low medium etc) My Specs are also good enough to render this (MSI GeForce RT

Hey there,I've had this problem recently where I can't get footage shot on my Mavic or my Osmo to playback in Premiere. I've been shooting on my Mavic for over a year and never had this issue. I've done everything I can think of. I updated my drivers, updated premiere, cleared my cache. I've even deleted and reinstalled Premiere and my graphics drivers with no luck. I worked with support and they basically told me just to run it off the software rather than my graphics card, but if I do it that way, I can't get anything to render anyways.If anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.

Has anyone has found lately that warp stabilizer makes a lot of clips worse? I have a shot that barely has any movement to it at all. No camera shake at all. and warp just makes it look more funky. But then I bring it into After Effects and have some success with the "stabilize motion" tracking effect.

I have a Macbook Pro M3 and when I click on Audio or Video clips on the timeline the menu doesn't open entilrely. For instance, on the same project: If I right-click on an Adjustments Layer the menu takes the entire screen heights.If I right-click on a Video Layer if shows only from the place I click up to the bottom of the screen, which brings me a small menu. It's really hard to navigate and operate this way. I have to scroll down the entire menu all the time. I've check a similar discussion, but none of the proposed changes worked for me.And it really bugs me the fact that it works just fine on Adjustments Layers but not on Video layers. Does anyone has any clue on how to solve it?

I’ve been working on a project for quite some time now, and I’ve already rendered five versions of it without any issues. I wanted to render version 6, but all of a sudden, some of my drone footage has started lagging badly.Normally, I fix lagging by rendering the footage in and out, or by rendering the entire project, but neither solution is helping this time. Several drone shots are now lagging in the timeline, while the exact same clips play perfectly fine when I open them separately in QuickTime. They worked fine before, so something must be wrong within PP. Of course, Premiere Pro is up to date.  I’ve already updated my MacBook and checked for possible memory issues, but that doesn’t seem to be the cause either.Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this or how I can fix it?

I have been trying to import 12 bit ProRes raw footage from my NikonZ6III and every time it is automatically converted to rec.709. I am able to import the footage fine in Davinci (it shows the correct flat log profile). I have tried everything that has been suggested -- disabling the Color Management Auto Detection in the project settings, overriding the media color space of my clips, downloading Apple Pro Video Formats. Nothing has worked so far. Has anyone run into this issue? Strangely, 10 bit ProRes raw footage imports just fine.

I cannot escape the Creating Captions screen that never seems to load. I’ve cleared my cache, changed the cache locations, used older and the most up to date versions of Premiere Pro. I’ve reset scratch disks. I’ve created new projects and new sequences. Nothing is working. The transcript is there. It just will not generate captions for me at all. No matter what preset I use, it will not generate. This started out of nowhere and didn’t have any issues on previous clips from the same source. 

I’m working on a Premiere Pro project that uses old Merged Clips. I created subtitle-burned versions of several lab-roll files that are frame-for-frame identical to the original media, including the same duration and timecode. I need to replace the original lab-roll media with the subtitle-burned versions while preserving all existing Merged Clip and sequence references. Premiere’s Replace Footage function does not seem to work correctly with these Merged Clips. I need technical assistance figuring out the correct way to relink/replace this media without breaking the existing sequences.

Now the entire program interface is running slowly, and when I try to open the Preferences settings, the program freezes for 20 seconds. Thank you for your advice! Now I have the slowest program in the world! Every window takes 10 seconds to open or freezes completely. This is a nightmare—not a program. I reinstalled the program—nothing changed.    

Any video I upload gets the 'audio playback failed' error message (and says Premiere Pro could not start audio playback errror code 1609891836) when you click play. The app doesn't recognise audio in any of my videos and wouldn't even play. Please see attached image. Can you please help me troubleshoot?

Samsung S25 video taken in HEVC ( an oversight ) When imported into Prem Pro and rendered, it does not play smoothly. Jumps, or freezes,but sound okAny suggestions?

The newest version of Premiere Pro 2025 isn’t working out as did the earlier versions if I click on the triple dots the offer is PP 2025 versions isn’t there a method to download 2024 2023 and so forth as those versions were work flow friendlyThanks 

 I am recording piano music to an audio recorder which outputs .WAV files.  If (when) I make a mistake, I go back a measure and just start playing again, ending up with a audio recording with multiple pauses.  What I want to do is edit out the mistake and stich the audio back together so the mistakes are gone.I have tried this by creating a sequence with two audio tracks, dropping in alternating tracks and using the level adjustment within each track and aligning them.  I then export the sequence as a .WAV file. This does work, but was wondering if there was a better way to do this in Premiere Pro?  Or perhaps there’s a better application to do it?  Do I have to export to a .WAV or is there a better way to combine two audio tracks into one and save to the project panel?

 Hi everyone,Fit Clip dialog box is no longer appearing when I click OverwriteI'm having an issue with Premiere Pro. I checked the "Always Use This Choice" option in the Fit Clip pop-up during a 4-point edit. Now, whenever I click Overwrite, the "Fit Clip" dialog box (shown in the attached screenshot) no longer appears, and Premiere automatically applies the saved choice without asking.I want to know how to remove this default choice so that the dialog box shows up again.Here is what I have already tried: Went to Preferences > Timeline and clicked the "Reset Fit Clip dialog" button. Confirmed that "Show Clip Mismatch Warning dialog" is checked. Restarted Premiere Pro. Despite resetting it in Preferences, clicking Overwrite still bypasses the dialog box completely.Does anyone know how to clear the "Always Use This Choice" setting and bring the Overwrite dialog box back?Thanks in advance,Marcos A. While this post shows VLC and Premiere looking almost exactly the same, my VLC looks washed out compared to Premiere. I am going to show this in theaters. They may not have the DCP, just a video projector which plays mp4, perhaps some other formats. Which is the best mp4 player? I have a DCP player on my other computer. It seems like there is no rhyme or reason as to which track Premiere chooses to move in order to accomplish a sound sync when I select “audio”. I need to be able to control this, because it’s causing chaos on my timeline right now. Ideally I can select “move audio track to sync” or “move video track to sync”.Please and thank you

I'll put this in the suggestions box, but at the moment for the output files in Media Encoder randomly default to some previous directory even when the output location isn't set. (probably the last time you saved the queue). I would much prefer it if it mirrored AE's behaviour with Media Encoder where it creates a specific folder for output files inside the folder the project resides in. This does not seem to be an option at the moment and for the life of me I can't work out why htey can program this into After Effects but not Premiere.

 I have tried three methods, none seem to work. I use the 2026 version of Premiere Pro. Any suggestions?

I recently bought the M1 max 32/512 gb but my premiere pro still lag sometimes I thought it's hardware problem but when I test the Geekbench mark all the numbers are good I run blender I do some works in blender divided the plane in many sub divisions nothing happens but when I edit small shorts on premiere pro it's lagg sometimes can any one have the solution, for comparison I render same project in both M1 pro 16gb and M1 max 32gb the render time was same so what's the point to buy M1 max 32 gb
