Hi All! Working on a project with Premiere Pro 23.4.0.Using an iMac (specs below): Project was working smoothly until a week or so ago. Last few days it has stopped a few minutes into the edit and has frozen with the beachball 😞 ... Tried starting a new project on the desktop and importing the old project, deleting cache, lowering playback resolution. All helped temporarily, but the project soon began stuttering and freezing again with the beachball. Any tips, tricks, solves would be GREATLY appreciated!

I try to render a movie in Premier Pro but keep getting green artefacts and glitches/lost frames.I use a Mac Book Pro, Mac OS Monterey 12.3.1 and Premiere Pro version 25, built 61.Please advise me on how to solve the problem.

So, I have a feature film I cut in Premiere using all ProRes 4444 files. I haven't looked at it for a few months in Premiere, because we moved on to color grade, sound, etc. Now the director and I, who own the production company, wanted another editor to take a look at it and do a fine cut. I made a copy of all files and went to check if everything is working and now Premiere doesn't work. I tried a few months ago to update to Premiere 2024 and it's performance was terrible at best, so I rolled back to 2023 and It worked fine. I did update the machine to Ventura 13.6.4, which is the only thing I changed. Right now 03/13/2024, I get the spinning beachball if I try to play the project, or if I click anything. I would expect it to perhaps be a bit slower playing of the new RAID where the project also resides, but the original project also exhibits the same behavior using the original Premiere project file which is on a PCI NVME drive - the video assets are on a RAID 0, both drives re

I have tried six ways to sunday to create proxy files accorded to Adobe's instructions. It doesn't work. And now all my media files, even ones that I have not created proxy files for, show the big, yellow "Media Pending" flag that won't go away.  It looks like, creating proxy files corrupted my project.Given these technical difficulties, I am looking to do this project in a more pro environment like Da VInci Resolve, but it has been awhile since I used it. Has anyone here generated proxies in Resolve, if so, was the workflow good? 

Hello, I have an issue : Whenever I open the "effect" pannel, within my project, it totaly closes the running premiere pro project. I can however open other pannels, such as color etc.. How do I fix this ? Thank you [personal info deleted by mod]

MAC PRO TOWER 2019 :  Upgrade from Premiere 24.6.3 to Premiere Pro 25 NOTE:  EVERY  SINGLE TIME PREMIERE ISSUES AN UPDATE,  PROJECT FILES DISAPPEAR  ON INSTALLATION1.   After installation of Premiere 25 update:   October & November saved files  disappeared from  project I was working on.2.  Files for September were not deleted.3.  After many hours & many attempts.  Premiere senor advisor, Mohak was able to locate files.       Mohak has a lot of patience & expertise with Premiere Pro, and is the only advisor who has consistently been able to retrieve lost files. 4.  Would like to upgrade to premiere 25, if someone can advise me when this bug is fixed.Would appreciated tech follow up on consistent disappearance of files

When I select multiple sound clips and hit Enhance. it unselects that last two clips every time and does not enchance them. 

In the last month or so, editing the auto-generated transcripts has become a nightmare. I constantly have to close the app so that I can edit the transcript one word at a time. This only solves my problem 60% of the time. The other 40% of the time, if I can manage to edit a block of text, doing so somehow prompts the transcript window to omit several of the proceeding text blocks all together. I am fully updated on all of my apps.    Mod note: The title was changed to reflect your issue.

Hi everyone,I work for a German company and we need subtitles in german only. All my settings are in german, but somehow I get english subtitles ONLY. Can anyone help?

Hello,I've the problem after video export with PREMIERE PRO 24.6.3 on Mac OS M2 Ultra 14.7.1.The video play on preview Mac has frequently mosaic pixel with all exports. But If i play with another player (for example VLC), i haven't the problem.  To temporarily solve the problem, I activated the "software only" encoding option in the export - video menu. I think it's not normal and I'm not alone with this problem. Out of curiosity, I also tested an export with a DELL Xps Windows 11 24H2 with Premiere Pro 25.0.0 (build 61). I copy the export file (from windows) to Mac and I haven't the problem. Thanks for your Support

I have a hotkey set to the Q button for the Project window that performs “Reveal in Finder.” But when I try to rename some media in the Project window, pressing the Q button (as a letter of the word, for example, "Request") triggers the hotkey instead. Renaming doesn’t happen. This didn’t happen before. The version of PP is 25.0, Mac OS 15.0.1

Hi all, Im having some issues with Premiere Pro. Midway through editing a project, my preview for any Lumetri adjustments no longer show on my video preview. I have to make an edit and then render it out to see what it looks like. If there are further adjustments, I have to keep doing that - make an adjustment, edit etc - it's all just guess work rather than being able to preview the live edits. The same happens with the transform effect. I've never had this issue before but it's started to happen all of a sudden making my workflow unnecessarily long and complex. I'm pretty new to the software so if there something I can do to fix this? I've deleted the app and reinstalled it but it doesn't work. I'm also now working off of SSD incase it was due to a storage issue. Thanks

I'm playing around with workspaces and the looks of Premiere Pro (CC 2017) and there's this one thing I cannot change to suit my needs. There's this "voice-over" button that I would like to remove from the timeline panel (it would make the timeline a little bit wider), but either there's no way to do that or there's some bug which prevents me to remove it. I tried going to Timeline Display Settings -> Customize Audio Header. From there I'm able to add new icons, but how to remove the existing ones ? I thought clicking on it and dragging it out of the timeline panel would do the job, but all the buttons act normally and make changes to the timeline.Any ideas ?

Guten Tag an die Community, ich bin relativ Neu in der Bearbeitung von Videos und habe mein Video soweit zusammen geschnitten und wollte es für den Upload für YouTube vorbereiten. Nun ist es beim  abspielen des Videos so, dass die Farben alle nicht mehr wirklich passen, es wirkt alles so Gelb. Ich habe mein Video leider im HDR Modus gefilmt, wie bekomme ich das sauber wieder eingestellt bzw bearbeitet? Kann mir da jemand helfen?  

Hello i created a shape under a clip and i am trying to set the "blending mode" for that shape only to "screen", but this is no blending mode options under "opacity", is that the "opacity" option contains "blending mode" choices is only for the master layer ?  not for a sub layer inside the master layer?Thank you.

Hola buenas! Queria consultar como puedo solucionar este problema que estoy teniendo al editar con premiere pro (version 25.00) Al reproducir y poner pausa se traba el video y el audio, lo hace en cualquier momento de la linea del tiempo con cualquier tipo de video, como si le costara procesarlo, es muy molesto. Recien estoy empezando con premiere, pero ya intente todas las recomencadiones que estan en internet para tratar de solucionarlo (reducir la calidad de la vista previa por ejemplo, tocar algunos ajustes, reeinstalar versiones anteriores etc) yLo unico que me queda es pensar que mi noteboock no tiene la suficiente potencia para que vaya fluido, pero sinceramente no lo se, en general funciona perfecto y va super rapido todos los programas y juegos, no edito videos en 4k super pesados, por eso me parece raro, es mas he estado editando con videos grabados desde un iphone a FULLHD nada mas. Bonjour,Je réalise une vidéo, l'une en format 16/9 en FULL HD en codec H.264, et l'autre en format Reel 9/16 dans le même genre de paramètres.Lorsque je rend et compile la vidéo, le format 16/9 passe comme une crème, sans soucis, et lorsque je suis sur le format Reel 9/16 (autre séquence), je reçois ce type de message, qui m'empêche complètement de faire un rendu de ma vidéo.Quelqu'un aurait une explication ?Je vous remercie d'avance

Hello,I would like to create a small clip as a reel for Instagram. For testing I sent the mp4 file to several smartphones. The proportions/aspect ratio were changed on the Google pixel 7. It looks bad because I wanted to show people. Is there a way to fix the aspect ratio for all output devices?Thank you very much! pati-pit

I've been searching through docs, answers and object properties looking for something that marks whether a clip has failed to be stabilized with Warp Stabilizer and should get the "Stabilization failed." banner. Does anyone know which object and corresponding property stores that information? I'm working with PPro 2023, Version 23.6.8 (Build 4).

I work in studio in post and we are required to have a 2 second slate for every edit we create. The slate holds information such as; sequence name, duration, date, client, version number, audio mix, and editor. It would be great to set up an automation block that can take information such as clip duration (minus the 2s slate), sequence name, date and updates the text on the slate. Premiere Pro 24.5.0

I'm editing in a 16 X 9, 4k sequence and want to add a variety of phone clips, probably both iphone and android (I don't have them yet). I know about 709 color adjustment, as I do about resizing video within the frame of my sequence, but I don't know how to fill the black on either side with what I've often seen and think effective: soft focus of the phones image. Can anyone help?

Timeline and render settings are set to 1080p, but when it renders, it looks nothing like the timeline. Not even the 1080p stock footage I used is in 1080p after rendering. I tried making a new 1080p sequence, made sure nothing is set or scaled to frame size, searched the internet, but found nothing simillar. I simply don't know where the issue is. I tried 5 different renders in the last hour and it's still wrong. Please help

Hi all,   all of a sudden I started getting a weird error in Premiere. When I try to do an insert/overwrite edit, either by pressing the dot key on my keyboard "." OR dragging the little film-strip icon under the image in Source mnitor, this message pops up: "No content in sequence In/Out range".   My set up is shown at this screenshot but let me explain a bit further. I use what is called "pancake editing":   all of my clips go into timeline 1: Stringer timeline; I load this timeline into the source monitor and open it in Timeline panel so that I can pull selects from it; underneath the Stringer, I create timeline 2 which is my Selects timeline, this one plays in the Program monitor; I scrub through the Stringer timeline (watching it in the Source monitor), setting IN and OUT points as I see fit and hitting the dot "." key on my keyboard (This inserts the selected segment of the Stringer timeline into my Selects timeline);   Usually this works, but today in

I am new to Premiere Pro. I had used Corel Video Studio for many years but the resolution was poor. I would really like it if Adobe was as simple as the tutorials I have reviewed but I am running into a very frustrating issue. Every time I try to drag a transition or drag a trimmed clip (video only, without audio) from the source panel there is a circle with a slash icon over the hand grab. Please simply state what is the problem. I looked at other tutorial and viewed your community board and there is no solution. Please help me.
