Premiere doesn't connect footage from files I just used. Premiere changes color on frame grabs. Premiere outputs with some weird filter. ADOBE. I NEED TO DO WORK.   [text edited by mod: keep it civil]

Been asked to report this separately as a bug, so: Issue - Random crashes since latest macOS update. Adobe Premiere Pro version number: 24.6.1 (Build 2) Operating system - macOS 15.0 System Info: CPU, GPU, RAM, HD: M1 Ultra 64GB SSD + external SSDs for media and cache via Thunderbolt Video format: Not dependent on file format - same issue in different projects using various formats including 4K Sony footage down to low-res Zoom recordings. Workflow details: Both in multilayer sequences and projects that are nearly empty/new. Steps to reproduce - (Very important!) Open Premiere, start a new project, start working/importing footage/scrubbing in timeline - CRASH Expected result - No crash Actual result -  Crash... 🙂 Thanks in advance.

After I updated Premiere Pro to Premiere pro 2025 I need to update my older projects but the newly updated projects are 0 kb in size. Does anyone know how to fix this or downgrade to the previous version? Thanks.

I'm running into a technical problem and I'm not sure what the root of the problem is. 2023 Macbook ProM3 chip18GB of RAMCurrently running Sonoma 14.1 This is a company machine. The reason I mention that is I'm not sure if my company's security settings are what is preventing the Dynamic Link function from working.  Every time I try to replace a clip with an After Effects compositiong Premiere Pro freezes. I get the rainbow spinwheel and it gets stuck in loading.  AE doesn't even launch. The same issue happens anytime I try to export by sending a sequence to Media Encoder.  My suspesion is that this is caused by some sort of permission and settings where the programs arent able to communicate to each other. Or perhaps it's something like a firewall setting that is preventing Adobe Dynamic Link from working properly.  Has anyone else experienced this?  Looking for help. This is a frame in between two clips, this is a 4k video edited in a 1080 sequence, exported in 1080p. I don't get this distorted glitch while previewing in the premiere pro. I get this after exporting, what's the reason? I have done exporting multiple times but nothing works. Also I think the footages were taken in 120fps.

Hello everyone! I usually just edit videos together never really using graphics in the way I'm trying to use them on my latests project. I'm trying to have a line come out of a building and end up in another building across a river in a moving video. The problem is the line is locked to where it originally was created at the start of the video and the video moves so by the end the line has stayed at the exact spot but the building it has originated out of has moved. I know there is a way to make sure it stays on the original building, but I for the life of me cannot find a video that shows me how, and I'm sure it has to do with how I'm googling it. I've attached pictures of the problem.

I have 16mm and 8mm films that were projected, then recorded with either my iPhone or digital camera. When playing the digital version you see film frames scrolling caused by the film frames not matching the recording on phone or digital camera. Is there a way to remove this?

The new update for Premier Pro removed the "Essential Graphics" tab and replaced it with the "Properties" and "Graphics Templates" tabs. I am trying to change the font and size of the generated captions and the minimal literature I found says that is done in the "Properties" tab now; however, all it says is "Multiple clips selected" and won't let me change anything. I've looked for a solution everywhere, but this is a new update and there isn't much information. 

I'm editing a feature film that is a little wacky, throughout the movie the colors and hue are constantly changing, and I did this effect with color balance hls. I just got a new computer and was only able to download the newest version of premiere (2023) when I edited the movie orginally on a laptop with the color balance hls intact. Now that I'm on the new computer, the effect is obselete and taken away from the new version of premiere. I tried downloading the older version I was orginally using on the laptop but everytime I try the installation fails. Is there an effect on the 2023 version I can use that spins through the hue and I can animate with keyframes? I would ask adobe but I cant get a hold of them.

Hi Team. I've tried auto transribe in English language. I'm figuring out how to translate into different language. Any experts can guide me on the method 

windows 11. I've disabled all 3rd party plugins.  Autosave runs and then premiere crashes. Sometimes it hangs, sometimes it just disappears.Currently updating to the 24.6.3 (despite confusingly telling me that doing so would switch off the auto update, which is apparently off anyway, because otherwise it would have updated).  But I have zero expectation of this working because it's been doing this for well over a year. It's just got a lot worse.  Adobe do you use your products on windows pc's?  I just finished editing a project on a mabook. Huge project, took weeks, I think i had 2 crashes the whole time. Editing on a PC, I'll often have 2 crashes an hour.  

(running [premiere pro v24.6.1 / build 2])(macOS Sequoia 15.0.1 24A348) is it possible to create a "search bins" of "bins"?  absent any "metada category" for "asset type", i've created search bins based on label colors i assigned to the 8 "asset types", one being "bins" (which is assigned the "mango" label). this is the only "asset type label" that doesn't work in search bins.  likewise, bins with "metadata properties" that match those of a "search bin" (such as "Good" / "true/false") will not show up in the search bin.   i wanted to create a "search bin" of "bins" so that i would have a complete list of all bins in the project listed alphabetically in a single search bin for easier access.  this would also be useful for detecting "duplicate bins".  but i can't figure out how to make it work. any guidance appreciated 🙏TIA🙏

Ayer tuve problemas con la versión 24 y actualicé desde Creative Cloud a la versión 25.0 y no puedo trabajar con ella porque no funciona bien en mi equipo (no me deja importar nada y no me deja visualizar la línea de tiempo) Necesito volver a una versión anterior, pero desde CC no me deja acceder a las versiones 24.x. La única opción que encuentro es en esta web,  pero la opción es descargar Premiere Elements 2024 y no me deja completar la instalación.Necesito ayudaGracias

It's been a while I've been encountering this problem with different footage/different formats only on PGM and only while I'm playing, when I pause the glitch stops, doesn't show on export as well. I'm using Premiere 24.6.1 (build 2), GPU RTX 4070, CPU Ryzen 9 7900, 64GB of memory, 3tb storage (NVME). Has anyone encountered it or knows how to solve it?       

When using 22.4.1 on an M1 Mac Mini (OS 12.4) using the Intel version, if I try to export an AAF file from the file menu, the module throws an error. I have tried to turn the rendering to software only. I have removed all the plugins. I went through troubleshooting with Adobe. This simply does not work in any software after version 22.2. All Adobe can tell me is "use the old version and maybe we'll fix it later." That's not acceptable to me.  If I install 22.4.1 the AAF outputs correctly one time and after that, I get the error.  Restarting does nothing.  I need this to work as my mixer likes AAF files over OMFs. 

HiI have a sequence with clips from an interview.  One layer of video and 2 audio.  I've marked the best bits and added comments to the markers and now I want to export these sections as subclips.  I ctrl click the sequence in the project panel and "Open in Source Monitor".  In the source monitor I mark an In/Out.  Either by using the menu - Clip/Make Subclip - or by using the shortcut cmd U, nothing happens, the option is greyed out in the menu. Things I've tried:  I can make a subsequence, but not a subclip.  Track targeting is on.  The selections are linked on the sequence.  I can make a subclip from a master clip.  Making a new project with only one clip and one sequence still does not work. I've watched a great tutorial on Lynda.com where the trainer does this so I know it's possible!  Any ideas?Mac 2013, 32GB RAM, PP CC12.1.2, media MXF from Sony F7

Hey, id like to ask how can i replace face or part of screen with an another still image? I mean i know how to do it manualy with keyframes for tracking, but id like to know if there is a way to auto track position and add image to it or something like that thanks.

I just started to see that my imported PSD files layered names are getting shortened..ie.   3 Business-Model-Red-Line is importing as.   3 Business Model/Spaces.PSD Without the proper names it makes it makes it difficult to identify the layers I want to animate..Has anyone experienced this? If so, have you identified how to fix this?See image attached:I'm using teams, I do not have ingest settings turned on... Thanks

I'm having trouble exporting my new video and I don't know why. Can anyone help me? My disk space is not insufficient, I bought a new SSD and I'm saving it to it. I think the problem must be something else. You need to upload a new video urgently, can anyone help?

I just downloaded Premier Pro for a trial period. I am trying to make a video with pictures and want to add a border to the photos. When trying to type "Radial" or "Shadow" in the effects, I do not get any results.Are some of the features not available for the trial period? Or is there another way to find this? Thank you in advance!

Ich kann in einem Projekt nicht exportieren, da ich das Dateiziel nicht auswählen kann. Auch der Dateiname lässt sich nicht ändern. Einstellungen bereits einmal zurückgesetzt. In einem neuem Projekt funktioniert es. Zuerst noch in 24 probiert, dann Update zu 25 und dasselbe Problem.

Hello @Mathias Moehl  The attached script is meant to do the following...Define variable 'bug' as a particular project item ('Prime_Bug')-Clone Active Sequence-(In Cloned Sequence) Enable all instances of Bug in the timeline-(In Cloned Sequence) Replace '::V5/1' for another project item. However, 2 issues-Despite the fact that I defined variable 'bug', the script enables ALL disabled clips in the timeline, not just the item assigned to variable bug. -How can I swap out '::V5/1' for a particular clip name? Let's say "Outro.mov".So instead of that line of code pointing to track 5 / clip 1 in the cloned sequence, I want it to point to "outro.mov", no matter where that clip sits in the sequence. Nothing I try works.

Cuando intento importar archivos de vídeo me sale el siguiente error: ‘Formato no admitido o archivo dañado’. No tengo ni idea de por qué puede ser, estoy un poco desesperado. No me deja importar nada que sea mp4 y cuando abro premiere tampoco me deja abrir los videos de pruebas, probe miles de soluciones pero ninguna me funciona. He probado a desinstalar Premiere y nada. Ojalá puedan ayudarme porque he de montar un trabajo para pasado mañana... When working with Panasonic V-Log the color space is automatically detected, but it only shows correctly in the program monitor, not in the source monitor.   Is this normal behavour?
