Over the last several versions, Premiere is randomly adding audio pops/clicks in audio. I've confirmed it isn't in the source media.I will play through an edit I've made and randomly there will be an audio pop/click that wasn't there before. If I restart Premiere, it goes away, but it happens constantly, so I started to right click the audio clip when it happens, send it to Auditon, close auditon, then undo, so that it's back to normal. Then the audio pop won't be there anymore. So it's definitely a bug with Premiere Pro and how it's processing/rendering the audio files.   This was not a problem last year with the same audio format coming from the same program. My system is fast and transcoding is a waste of time; this bug shouldn't exist.   Happens in Premiere Pro v23.5 and 23.6 (This wasn't happening in the previous years versions)   My setup:Mac Studio M1 Ultra OS 12.6.8 Audio is from h.264 .mp4 files recorded from an OBS screen capture.   For some reason it's no

I tried using Generative Extend without success. I received an error message that said: "Generative Extend requires clips with a 1.0 aspect ratio." I'm using Canon HD footage. MP4s. Seems like pretty standard stuff. But I went to my source clip in the Project panel, then did Modify>Interpret Footage and sure enough, under pixel aspect ratio it appears that the ratio of my pixels are 1.007.  Who knew. Anyway,  I then selected Conform and chose "square pixels (1.0)". I went back to my sequence. No deal.I tried dropping the footage, fresh, into the sequence. No deal.I tried making a brand new sequence with just that clip. No deal.I tried restarting Premiere. No deal. When I went back to my source clip after restarting, it says the clip is conformed to square, BTW. Disappointed! 😞 If anyone has thoughts (in other words an Adobe employee, most likely), please share!  (And in the future, do I need to be asking my camera guy to make

Hello, I need help because the videos on my timeline have been deleted. Only the audio and sound effects remain, as well as some elements such as text and images. It's as if someone had selected those videos and deleted them. I never deleted those videos and would like to recover them, as they had already been edited. Please, if anyone knows how to recover them, help me. Thank you.

Has anyone else experienced this? When I copy then paste a clip in a timeline or insert/overwrite into a timeline, the active panel randomly switches from the timeline to the Project panel. This doesn't happen everytime, but often enough to be really annoying. I paste into a timeline, then hit the up or down arrow keys or any other short cut and wonder why nothing is happening until I realzie I need to click back into the timeline. I'm working in Productions.Premiere v15.2Mac 10.15.7 

Hi, I've been uploading 4K 60fps content to YouTube for a couple years now, mostly 1-2 hour walks and bike rides filmed with GoPro and Pocket 3. Back when I was getting started, the Adobe community helped me pick exporting settings appropriate to the type of content I was creating.  I've been pretty happy with those settings until a recent (and currently ongoing) bug in YouTube's TV streaming has made me start thinking again about exporting options. It's been a couple years since I set up my exporting preset.  Premiere Pro has received several updates, as has YouTube.  High resolution content is now more common (especially with the increasing popularity of VR and 8K TVs), as is high bitrate content (thanks to 60fps becoming a standard for game streams).  So I'm wondering if there are some adjustments I can make to my exporting preset that will either improve the quality, or make my exports more compatible with what YouTube wants these days (to minimiz

Hi,We've implemented the imGetPeakAudio function to provide a custom waveform for our client, and it works well in general. However, we've noticed that when zooming in closely on the waveform panel in Premiere (both 2024 and 2025 versions), Premiere stops triggering imGetPeakAudio and instead renders its own waveform. The function resumes being called when we zoom out, seems like Premiere switches to its internal waveform rendering at closer zoom levels—even though we have the canProvidePeakAudio flag enabled. We're unsure whether this is a bug or intended behavior. If it's by design, is there any way to disable this behavior and ensure our plugin continues to provide the waveform regardless of the zoom level? Thanks 

I have been using Premiere Productions on a long-form documentary project and it is a bit of an ongoing process of finding the best way to lay out the project to best suit the workflow. I originally had the rushes for Day 1-7 in one project. But I have since found that separating them into individual projects (Day1, Day 2 etc) is better. I have split up all the rushes into individual projects now, but it seems that when I open a project with my edit sequences in it - it can no longer link to the original media. It still sees it, because it plays back absolutely fine and doesn't appear offline, but if I right click a clip in the sequence and 'reveal in project' I get the error: 'The project containing this media is missing. Would you like to open it manually?' I could go and relink each clip manually and re-route it to the new individual project days but this is a very slow and tedious process to do for every single clip. Is there a faster way to relink all of these

I'm not sure if this is a bug or just user error, but man it's been a frustrating morning. I am trying to blur a license plate on a car that is backing into a parking space. The auto mask tracking will not work because the car swings in slowly from an angle, so the plate changes both size and direction. I've tried separating into multiple clips to see if that helps to no avail, so I assume it's down to frame-by-frame tracking. The problem seems to be when I create the original mask, it is considerably small, so when I try to make any slight movements, the hand will not appear. It only allows me to adjust the frame points with the pen, not move the mask itself for smooth tracking. And there doesn't seem to be XY controls either. I've tried auto tracking in reverse as well, which works a little better but still ends up looking pretty sloppy. Any insights? Other methods I should try? Hello!I'm currently using Premiere Pro 13.1.3 (Build 44) on Windows 10 Pro and I'm having an issue with audio waveforms. It happens at least once a month with large projects.Once I create a new sequence from my multi cam timeline I click Sequence at the top and then select Render Audio so that the wave forms will appear in my new sequence where I'm making angle changes. The audio plays correctly and everything is synced as it should be but the audio wave forms are extremely incorrect.I've deleted cached files, peak files, deleted/re installed premiere, restarted my computer, check software updates, etc. and still to no avail I cannot solve this issue.Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Using v24.4.1 on a 2020 iMac. Show Audio Names is checked but still can't see the names (video Names show okay).  This occurred after I deleted all media cache files and preferences due to another problem - the search function wasn't working in the project window.  Deleting fixed the search problem but caused the Audio Name problem. Any ideas?  Thanks.Peter

Adobe Premiere v 25.5.0 Build 13Mac OS Sequoia 15.6.1Recently updated to both of these versions and I notice a couple things:1. When I add effects to the timeline now, pressing the Return key does nothing. It used to render the effects.In order to render now I have to go to the Sequence menu and select "Render Entire Work Area".2.  After rendering, the timeline turns green and the entire video plays as it should, but when I export it jitters and freezes at certain points in the playback.  In some cases this is where transition effects were present but in others it was just straight cuts.  And the transition effects are basic wipes and dissolves.My main concern is getting the file to export cleanly and play back the way it does in the timeline.  Any insights on this as well as why the previous method of rendering no longer works?UPDATE:  I was able to export a clean version using ProRes422.  The error is occuring when I try to use H.264 with the Match Sourc

Each time I do an edit on a clip with "Enhanced Audio" from the essential graphics panel, Premiere has to re-analyze the entire clip, process, and then allow me to hear it correctly. Previously, I would upload to https://podcast.adobe.com/enhance - yes it was an extra step but I never had to worry about this issue as I was working with an audio track as expected. Premiere should not need to re-process constantly, and the more I cut, the more time-consuming and frustrating it is. Was this an oversight? Is there a way around this?

I'm recording some online classes with Snagit. I usually go for full screen but it's not always the same dimensions and in any case my teacher wants me to give the recordings to him at 1280x720.The challenge in knowing what to create for a PPro sequence is that Snagit chooses the frame rate and it randomly changes with every new recording (as do the dimensions just depending on how I select the area, but it's always more than 1280x720).I can easily scale and position the video to fit a 1280x720 sequence if that's the specs I give the sequence when I create it, but it's a little challenging to have the sequence match the frame rate of the mp4 that Snatit creates. Well, it's not challenging if I create each sequence manually by first checking the frame rate of the mp4 Snagit created. It would be nice to be able to create a sequence preset that I use every time, but I'm not seeing a practical way to do that.If I tell PPro to modify the sequence specs to match the video I'm placing, it mod

After purchasing Adobe Film Impact, the typewriter transition stopped working. The text just appears immediately instead of smoothly typing letter by letter. Everything looks fine on the timeline, but when exporting by media encoder, there's no effect.

I've been exporting with the TMPGEnc plugin for Premiere Pro for a couple months now (I paid for it).  However, today I noticed that almost all of my resulting mp4 files have audio drop-outs, starting about a second in.  There will be a second of audio, then silence for several minutes, and then audio will come back. Here is an example, where the audio disappears after 1 second and then comes back at 12:48:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_J6HgWIJnok Here's another example, with audio disappearing a second or so in, until 14:55:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iOWmjDIvrLs The same videos, when exported with Premiere Pro's normal CBR 100 (not TMPGEnc), both have perfect audio. I am getting the same problem over and over, on all of the 4K@60Hz videos I've exported with TMPGEnc since 28 November.  Videos before that didn't have the same problem, except I remember last year when I trialed TMPGEnc (on a different computer) I experienced audio drop-outs, but

Hi there, I am apparently unable to add media to a media placeholder in the properties panel of a MOGRT. When I drag and hold the media over the placeholder, the hand shows a stop sign underneath, as if this is not how I'm meant to add it. How am i meant to add media? I am experiencing no lag or crashes so I am wondering if there is something glaringly obvious that I am missing. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. 

Dear Community - please help! When I use Enhance Audio on my clips it adds audible 'gremlin' artefacts to the clip. They are not always visible on the waveform but here is an example where it is visible. The first clip uses no enhancement, then I set it to 2, 4 and 7.  In this particular case, it would appear to be trying too hard to amplify/improve barely audible background noise or mic rustle as it gets worse the more I 'enhance' the audio. But this is the very opposite of what the effect should be doing, surely it should be squashing wind, rustles, noise? This has also happened over spoken/ambient audio, and not affected the waveform - which is scary, as they are not always picked up in review! This is happening over multiple Macs and always on the latest version of PP. The error is repeatable using completely fresh projects, sequences and clips. I have had to stop using Enhance Audio for fear of missing some of these glitches and them going live.&
