Team Project issue in the latest Adobe Premiere Pro: Creative Cloud, syncing work. some sequences are missing from the Project panel (only those created by my partner). Red exclamation mark on the cloud icon.
Every time I drop a clip into a sequence, Premiere is now trying to Auto-Tag Audio, and I have to click to cancel it. How do I stop this from occuring automatically?

!--startfragment>Hello, my name is Hasan. I would like to ask for some guidance regarding how I can manage my projects across different devices. At home, I primarily work on a desktop PC where most of my projects are stored. However, there are times when I need to continue working on these projects using my laptop—for example, when I am traveling or simply away from my desk. Up until now, I have been relying on an external hard drive to transfer files between the two devices, but this process has become inconvenient and time‑consuming. What I would like to know is whether it is possible to move my project files to the cloud so that I can access and edit them seamlessly from both my PC and my laptop, while using the same Adobe account. My main concern is ensuring that the projects remain synchronized and accessible, without the need to manually copy files back and forth. Ideally, I would like a solution that allows me to continue working on my projects from whichever device I choose,
Ever since updating Premiere I've had problems applying certain effects to cropped videos. Last month, I would apply a crop to a video - let's say for example the bottom third of the video - add Edge Feather and have equal feathered edges apply on all four sides. Now, it only applies to the uncropped sides leaving the bottom edge unaffected. I thought maybe if I tried nesting the video after cropping and then applying Edge Feather, it might work, but instead no feathering occurs at all. I'm having the same issue when applying a Drop Shadow Preset I use regularly (just a simple thick white outline) on cropped videos or graphics. These were such simple tasks in my workflow and now instead, I have to reach out for help cuz I don't know what else to do. Is this a bug? Does anyone have any other methods I could try? No plugins. Hello, great and powerful Adobe community. I'm finding that no matter how I tweak my render settings, my video file sizes seem unreasonably large. For example, today I rendered a 1hr Premier Pro edit using Media Encoder's YouTube 1080HD export preset, which produced a 1.8Gb file. When I upload this 1.8Gb file to YouTube and then download it, the downloaded file is only 89Mb. Seems like a huge disparity considering I'm using an export setting presumably optimized for YouTube specifically. As you can see from my settings (below) I've got the target bitrates cranked down pretty low, to the point that the video quality already takes a noticable hit. Any lower and the video quality is just poor. What is YouTube doing to squish my 1.8Gb file down to 89Mb? I notice a lot of 1080 video on YouTube looks crystle clear. How can I acheive these small file sizes and still get acceptable video quality from Adobe Media encoder? - Preset Used:
Normally, the mask tool for selecting a fragment was opaque, but it is no longer. How can it be restored!?
Hello! I just started working across Premiere Pro and After Effects. I’m having an issue that when I import the after effects file (file>import), it imports just great but I can’t drag it into an existing Premiere Pro sequence. It gives me the hand with the slashed circle when I have it over the timeline. I have:-Ensured everything is up to date-double checked the sequence and comp settings to make sure they are the same -selected the layer I want it to drop into and try to drag it there I’m able to make a new premiere pro sequence with the after effects comp just not put it into an existing one. Also, I did take the sequence I was trying to put it into and I used that sequence (a voice over) in that after effects comp. I thought that would be the issue so I deleted the sequence from the comp and the AE project and reimported but no luck. thank you for your help!
Hello,When I make a subclip in program monitor, I would like that this subclip goes directly to a tab called “subclip” in the binder at left. In this binder tab “subclip”, I want to have only subclips (no sequence file). How to do it ?
Today I encountered a strange bug. I opened my Premiere Pro and booted an older project, which needed some feedback to be applied. All of a sudden, my screen started to flicker from being "on" to being blacked out for 2-3 seconds before appearing to come on again. This seems to happen mostly when scrubbing through my timeline, but also when opening settings it occurs. All of this goes for Adobe After Effects as well. What I've tried so far, without success:Reinstall NVIDIA Studio Driver 471.68Update Premiere Pro and AfterEffects to latest versionTurn my screen on and offPlug in my screen againTurn off Mecrury TransmitTurn off CUDA renderingTest another project -> same issuesOther programs/games -> no similiar issues What I've tried, which gave me a workaround:Have the program monitor on another screen My specs:AOC Q27G2WG4 (G-Sync turned off, resolution set to 1440p144hz)i7-10700K (Slight overclock and XMP on)Gigabyte EAGLE RTX 3070Windows 10 Pro I could not f
Hello Adobe Team and Community,In Premiere Pro version 26 (2026 release), the new masking system introduced Clip mode and Frame mode for masks (especially useful with the updated Object Mask, Shape Masks, etc.).When I create a new mask (using Pen tool, Ellipse, Rectangle, or Object Mask), it always defaults to Clip mode. For my workflow — which involves a lot of manual keyframing, frame-by-frame adjustments, and precise animation of mask paths — Frame mode is much more practical and what I need 90% of the time.Right now, every single time I draw a new mask, I have to immediately switch from Clip to Frame mode in the Program Monitor (or wherever the toggle is). This adds unnecessary clicks and slows down the editing process, especially on projects with dozens of animated masks.I checked Preferences, Keyboard Shortcuts, and the official help docs, but I couldn't find any option to change the default mask creation mode to Frame instead of Clip.Feature request / question: Is there a hidden
Hey Premiere users,Many of us know the grind of getting a paper edit from a producer and then having to manually hunt down each clip in the timeline to piece together a rough cut. It’s a tedious but necessary part of the job, especially in documentary and interview-heavy projects. To make this process a whole lot faster and less painful, I’ve been working on a little command-line tool called Sheetscut. And I’m excited to share it with you all – it’s completely free and open-source.What it doesIn a nutshell, Sheetscut automates the process of turning a producer’s paper edit (a simple text document with selected quotes) into a ready-to-edit sequence in Premiere Pro. You feed it a word-level JSON transcript and your paper edit, and it generates an FCP XML file that you can import directly into Premiere. How it works:The tool matches the text from the paper edit to the word-level timecodes in your transcript. This means it can create a sequence with precise cuts, saving you hours of manual w
Hi everyone, I have a few questions regarding the use of Motion Graphics Templates within Adobe Team Projects.I created several lower thirds in After Effects and exported the .mogrt files to a specific folder on our NAS. We have 5 workstations where I installed these graphics to ensure every editor can view and edit them. The Problem: When some workstations insert a graphic into the timeline, other workstations see it as "Media Offline." Interestingly, if I or my colleague insert the graphics, the other 3 workstations can’t see the files correctly. Our Current Setup: Each workstation has its own dedicated Adobe account. All workstations have their Scratch Disks mapped to a dedicated folder on the NAS (File > Team Project Settings > Scratch Disks). 2 out of the 5 workstations use a separate internal drive for the Media Cache (Edit > Preferences > Media Cache), while the others differ. We have imported the graphics into both a shared Creative Cloud Library (inviting all r
-- I'm running Premiere Pro CC 2018 on a macbook pro 15" running High Sierra 10.13.3 --I had previously opened Premiere at home with my dual monitor setup. Now I'm on the road and when project opens the top windows are off-screen:When I select a different window arrangement, it gets worse:I can drag the bottom of the window and resize it but I can't get to the top to arrange it.Here's how I have attempted to fix it:- Hooked up an additional monitor. When monitor is attached I can move windows, but the moment I unplug monitor, the windows go back to original off-screen position (no matter where I had placed them while add'l monitor was running).- I uninstalled and reinstalled Premiere. Same problem as before.- I restarted Premiere while holding the option key (to trash preferences). Problem still there.- I created a new project. No change in problem.Anybody have a good idea? Thanks!
So i need help with overlaying my clips onto the same background. I have my main image in V1 and i want to have multiple images to after each other. But the problem is when i place a second image on the background, then the first image goes away. I want all the images to stay on the background. So does anybody what to do in this situation?
If I have an interview with somebody who has recorded their own audio, the conversation between me and them is on 2 different audio tracks. But when I try text-based editing using 2 (or more) audio tracks, it doesn’t work. Because the transcript in the Program Monitor can only follow one of the transcribed audio tracks. This means I can’t read the conversation. In the picture you can see the conversation skips from 01:58 to 03:25, so it’s missing the transcript from the second audio clip.I have transcribed all audio files. I can see them in the Source Monitor, just not in the Program Monitor. On top of that: I can’t seem to even SWITCH between the different clips in the Program Monitor. The Program Monitor really seems to be stuck on just the first clip I’ve transcribed. How is this possible? Am I missing something here? It seems like it should be a very basic feature in text-based editing.
Hi all! Searching to see if anyone can help me out here, I'm having a fairly annoying issue with CC.17 (2017.1.2) where my playback monitor is continuously positioned off-centre (and therefore cropped) -- either Premiere is interpreting the position of my monitor incorrectly or is being fed an incorrect position by the OS, either way it's totally beyond my technical know-how to fix and am looking for some help, I've attached a screen grab of the issue as I see it (primary monitor in the centre with two smaller HD's left and right, the left hand monitor should be full-screen playback) also attaching the system display settings for all three monitors along with a system overview -- system is running dual GeForce GTX 1080 Ti's, Current Driver Version 385.41Primary Display: Dell PQ2715QSecondary: 2x DELL U2414H All connected by HDMI Any help at all would be hugely appreciated,Cian
I don't know if it's just me, but the new forum is freezing. Sometimes it takes everything necessary to close and reopen it, and to close it I have to use the Windows Task Manager to end tasks because when it freezes, even the browser doesn't work to close it.
With “Display Color Management” off With “Display Color Management” onWhat is going on here? Why would the footage look so crusty with “Display Color Management” on? When I punch out an export with “Display Color Management” on, it looks fine:
When will we be done with beta and get the real deal to download?!
Hello,I know Adobe Prelude is discontinued from 2024, but I don’t succeed to find where to download it.
As my last documentary project took ages to load on startup, I would like to try premiere productions. On short form films it works fine so I read the "best practices" guide, but didnt find what I was looking for. Whats the best way to organize your project inside the production so it starts quickly and everything is availabe? In the traditional project I have a folder with footage for each day and corresponding sequences with all the footage so its easy to preview and log footag.Should I put the footage from every day with those sequences into a seperate project per day in the production and then add another project for the final edit?
While starting/stopping playback and attempting to scrub to find specific frames, the Program window just doesn't respond like it should. It hesitates before starting playback, and there are times it just can't handle scrubbing at all. Sometimes, in fact, the video freezes while the audio continues playing. Here's everything I've done, after spending countless hours researching. I typically take home movies with my Google Pixel, so I understand I'm already in trouble due to VFR. So I convert the VFR files to CFR ProRes Proxy files using Shutter Encoder. I attach the proxies to my raw files. I create a new sequence I have the Adobe software on my system SSD, my video files and proxies are on a second, internal storage SSD, and my cache directory is set to a third SSD (external). I delete the cache often (likely unnecessarily). I've checked boxes to use the GPU wherever I can. I've read, however, that certain processes never use the GPU and only use the IGP.
I bougth the “Digital LED LCD Clock Maker” template from Adobe Stock.Importing the module to the Time Line is ok. In the Effect Setting window, a couple of parameters like Font, Time and size settings appear and can be set.But whatever the setting is: No clock function, no time count, only one fixed (frozen) display according to initial settings.(tested with Premiere 2025 and 2026)
