What amazes me is when it fails stabilizing simple scenes, just how much it fails.The slightest movement in the background of the scene such as a hand, and suddenly warp stabilizer becomes bad.Are developers using AI for warp stabilzer? could that be an issue?What is worse is when you play around with the warp stabilizer setting, and suddenly the playback fails and you get a black screen.What is just as bad is when you deleted the effect, and playback fails!Why does the frame rate drop and playback fail when you get rid of WS?Do any of the settings even mean anything? Having tried the other settings it just makes the video worse. What is the actual point of them when everyone uses the same thing (such as position + stabilize video, for example)“Synthesize edges” NEEEEEEEEEDS to be reworked. After upgrade to version 26.0.0 the effect “Blend” is missing. I used it to change the opacity of source clips. Does this effect now have another name or is there another way to change blend modes/opacity of source clips?  

I’m a Creative Suite subscriber on Windows 11. I see that the PRIN file generation has been implemented, which has been active since some earlier beta versions of Premiere. But I’m on the current full version (25.6.4 Build 5).Is there currently a way to disable PRINT file generation? It’s simply not a feature I use or need. And I’d like that not generating in my project folder.

Since upgrading to Premiere 2026, my audio files are not being displayed correctly, but instead I see either “blocks of audio” or “blocks of nothing”.  The audio plays fine, but its hard to edit with accuracy when you can’t see the breaks in audio

Hi there. When I export a short selection of my video straight out of the source window, the new clip starts at 00:00:00:00 completely ignoring the original source timecode. I even have a timecode generator on the clip which shows the correct timecode. Any ideas on how to resolve this issue that I have never experienced before until today, I would be greatly appreciate. Thank you. 

In the new version of premiere, the new object masking is not working properly on my device, when I am hovering the cursor over objects, it not showing any selection, but when i am selecting the area with rectangle or lasso tool its detecting the object, NOTE : Auto hovering is on and tried with different clips also, Kindly Help me solving this issue.

Hi there. I'm working in Premiere 26.0 on my 2025 Mac Studio (M4 Max, Tahoe 26.1, 36Gb Ram). For some reason, when I create a new sequence by dragging a clip onto the icon in the project panel, that sequence defaults to 0 instead of matching the clip timecode. I’ve tried clicking the “Set by first clip” box but it only changes for the individual sequence, not globally. Is this a bug? Is there a new setting i’m missing? Thank you.

The videos that I am editing have been converted to 1080p from an original video recorded on iPhone 16 pro max in 4k. After finishing my edits, I proceed to render the entire work area to get ready for exporting into a mp4 format. As I begin rendering, the following error comes up:Video Preview ErrorError compiling movie.Unknown error: -1610153855 I have noticed that this error pops up only when the videos that I am editing are from iphones. When using content from my Sony AX-700 converted to 1080p the error does not come up.This is driving me nuts. Please help.

Greetings, When editing the captions of a simple sequence and hitting spacebar to start playback, hitting spacebar again presents a significant and annoying delay to stop playback. Clicking over the timeline to reposition the playhead doesn’t work either, as it seems locked until the software can pick up. It’s super frustrating since it happens when reviewing the captions, and when they are the “one word at a time” type of captions, it makes it annoying to try to pause to correct a mistake and not being able to, thus having to scrub back to the wanted spot.This only happens in the Captions Workspace, as when I go back to Editing it plays and pauses on command, so I’m not sure we can say it’s a hardware struggling to keep up issue.FYI, I’m working with 1080p videos on a 1080p timeline, no effects or heavy transitions, mostly jump cuts. Only a very simple color lut adjustment layer on top.Thanks in advance.

When I export a video ( h.264 ) I am selecting to create a sidecar file ( SRT ) on the captions tab , when I export, it does create the SRT file, but it also burns the closed captions into the video. When I select NONE for Caption Export options when exporting, it is still burning the closed captions into the MP4 file.This is happening on all 23 sequences inside my project file. The only way I can get the captions to not burn in, is to turn off the eyeball on the Subtitle track. Which then requires me to re-render the entire timeline. This is using Premiere v15.4.1 build 6 . Any thoughts ?  

When I go to use an effect in effect controls, the rectangle tool, the oval tool and the pen tool icons do not show up below each effect. How can I correct this? 

In PP 2026, if there’s a sequence marker on a timeline  that overlaps a clip, when I cut the clip, it eliminates the sequence marker. I can see where this is helpful in some instances. However, for the most part, I’d rather not cut the sequence marker. It’s especially problematic when me or my editor has put information on the marker (i.e., Name, Comments, etc.); I don’t want to lose that info or have to resurrect the marker from an older sequence (or an Auto Save project) if the marker gets cut. Is there a way to have a Setting that lets me choose the behavior? The workaround I can think of is to temporarily move the sequence marker, cutting the clip, then moving the marker back.

See the attached video for what I mean. This only seems to have started happening with the latest update to 25.3.   Problem Behavior: If there is a marker exactly at the cut the "ripple edit to playhead" action will be going to, it will delete that marker instead of preserving it like before. If there is a marker exactly at the playhead when a "ripple edit to playhead" is done, it also deletes the marker instead of preserving it   This at least affects these shortcut actions, but there could be others that the behavior affects too: Ripple Trim Next Edit To Playhead Ripple Trim Previous Edit To Playhead     Screencaps:   New bad behavior in 25.3 In that example I show as having a marker both at the playhead and the cut point, but to be clear it will delete the marker even if it's only one of them, it doesn't need to be both.   Expected Behavior (Example from Premiere Pro 2024, but same as before the 25.3 update)   Windows System Info: Premiere P

HelloI’ve been getting these frame substitution and error retrieving messages on my Premiere Pro. My Premiere Pro version is 25.6.2. The footage is the A-roll, which I cannot remove and which has never before troubled me. I'm working with a composer who uses Ableton Live and I need to send him my timeline with all audio clips in position.I've been exporting AAF from Premiere, but since Ableton doesn't natively support AAF, he was having trouble. He found a converter tool (https://abletonliveaaf.shop) that converts the AAF to an Ableton project, and it's been working well.My question: Are there specific AAF export settings in Premiere that work best for this workflow?Currently I'm using:Mixdown Video Include Audio (all tracks) Sample rate: 48kHzShould I be embedding the audio files or linking them? Any other settings that help preserve fades and volume automation in the AAF?Thanks!

Why do you keep releasing new versions of PP just to make them worse every time? The last half decent version was 2023. I just don't understand the business sense of putting resources into making a worse product 

I have a MAC PRO 2010 with NVIDIA QUADRO K5000 and the last system it let me work in real time with cuda drivers aceleration is high Sierra and adobe premiere 2020 (14). I can't find the installer and the adobe support say the can have only version 15. I would like if anybody can send me the link to download the installer or adobe premiere 14.8 . Thanks

Because the Beta 26.0 was the buggiest version I’ve seen in a long time (understandable, but I will still stay clear if it is)I asked this question yesterday but I presume the new forum ate it. Yay progress. 

Hi there!I'm using Premiere Pro v25.4.1, and am having an issue when using some templates from Adobe Stock. I suspect it's because they're maybe set-up in another language, but when I go to use them, the settings don't translate into English.  The example I've attached is for a template I downloaded a while ago, and the settings for it are in Korean. Is there a way I can change them to English?  Thanks!  

Come back to fix something the next day and the previews have all been deleted.  Is there a setting somewhere to change how long they should stay, do they get deleted on exit?  And why not recycle them so we can restore them if we want?
