Hi, I'm new here and new to Premiere Pro and video editing in general. Please don't go all Stackoverflow on me. I'm attempting to mask an image to hide it behind the subject's hand/shoulder, but when I create the mask, a strange thing happens where instead of hiding the masked part of the object, the masked portion remains in front but mirrored along the horizontal axis. What on earth is causing this?  

My Program Monitor just wen dark; not for the first time. In Copy 2, of a new Project, with a single clip, I was fooling with time settings and the "rubber band," then going back to Opacity; which is at 100% The clip displays on the source monitor. I dragged another clip onto the timeline, and later removed both clips, then returned the unedited clip; no change. Oh I also removed the Sound track at tome point. But this same thing has happened in totally different scenarios. The solution, this time, was to simply open Copy 1. I will save "copy 2",so I can go back to it later. Hi all,I'm facing an issue in Adobe Premiere Pro where I can't move the timeline view up to access higher video tracks. Normally, I could hold the left mouse button and drag the cursor upwards, which would move the timeline view itself and allow me to reach higher layers. However, this no longer works for video tracks.The strange part is that I can still move the audio tracks up and down, and I can freely move the video clips within the timeline itself — it’s just the timeline view that’s not working as expected. Hi everyone,I am currently working with Automation Blocks in Premiere Pro (version 1.1.011) and I’d like to automate the following workflow:I have a main sequence called “Video”.Inside this sequence there is a nested sequence called “Headlines”.This nested sequence contains multiple headline tracks (Track 1 = HL1, Track 2 = HL2, etc.).What I want Automation Blocks to do:Open the nested sequence Headlines.Disable (hide/mute) all tracks except Track 1.Go back to the main sequence Video and send it to Media Encoder for export. The file name should include the headline, e.g. “Video – HL1”.Then repeat the process: disable all tracks except Track 2, export again as “Video – HL2”.Continue until all headline tracks have been exported as separate video versions.Basically, I want Automation Blocks to cycle through the tracks in the Headlines nest, make only one visible at a time, and export the main Video sequence with that version of the headline.My question:Is it possible to control track outp

I have a M1 Max Macbook Pro with 64GB and over the past few months I was exporting some 2 hour clips which took 6-8 hours to export. I was surprised by the time but never tried looking into it. Then after the latest Mac and Premiere updates, similar exports are taking  30 - 50 mins to export. Does anyone know why this was happening and how to avoid slow export times in the future?

 I defy anyone to help me with this issue...Premiere Pro v25, up to date—running on an HP for Gaming Victus 15. Just knocked the RAM up from 16 to 32. Everything else CPU and GPU has been left as was purchased, except the NVIDIA studio drivers i installed. Local drive has got about 100GB free. Bios test and all that jazz tell me the RAM is correctly installed. I think I notice a difference? Maybe the jump is not as earth shattering as I was build up to believe. RAM brand is Crucial. They any good? I know dick about CPU hardware so forgive my computer illiteracy if straight out of the gate my problem was buying from the KMART of additional hardware. Project file and media is running off Crucial X10 1TB SSD—media cache files are stored on there. Premiere is installed and run off the local drive. Im still learning how to use the software and when i wanted to try to make subtitles, it says to use the text window but when i try to use it, it stays blackI tried selecting all audio tracks and singular ones, and it still doesnt work 😞

Hi, I'm having this issue: If I change the color of a clip label in the timeline it now changes the color of every clip with the same name. Meaning, if I've cut up a video file to use in various parts of the timeline, now they all change. I used to use this as a quick way to know clips a client didn't like etc to change/replace (label a single clip red, for instance), and now I can't do that. (previously posted by codys72658089 but also my exact issue, in a previous version of PP) In 15.4.0 the option to uncheck the option to "display the project item name and lbel colour for all instances" in no longer in the preferences panel (or at least I can't find it. Can anyone help?  Thanks

Hola a todos, necesito ayuda con un problema que tengo básicamente desde que inicié a utilizar Premiere y After Effects, resulta que luego de unos minutos de abrir el software mi PC se congela, produciendo una pantalla negra por unos segundos (casi un minuto entero) y al volver tengo la previsualización del proyecto totalmente en negro y debo cerrar el programa y volverlo a abrir para poder editar con normalidad. Este problema me pasa desde que lo utilizo, pero ahora con más frecuencia que antes, realmente no sé cual sea el problema y me cansé de buscar sin encontrar a alguien que le pase lo mismo. No tengo más plugins que Animation Composer, e intenté probar reinstalando el programa eliminando todos los plugins y sigue pasando el problema. Mi hardware es el siguiente:AMD Ryzen 5 5600xNvidia Geforce GTX 2060 6gb2x16 Ram = 32gb No tengo problemas de temperatura, no tengo problemas con otro software, no tengo problemas con juegos, es solo y exclusivamente con estos dos pro

Buenas chicos, no tengo manera de exportar un proyecto entero, o sea no renderizar si no, una vez terminado el video quiero copiar el proyecto entero a X ubicación, y no tengo manera. ¡Jamás me ha sucedido, pero esta última vez con un video me pasa, he intentado de todo, excluir archivos no usados, Excluir archivos de previsualización, de todo!!! Pero no hay manera. Como puedo saber de entre los 200 archivos que componen el proyecto, cuál es el problemático. ¡A ver si me podéis ayudar porque es batánate desesperante, Gracias!

hi everyone how is it going? im having this problem after the latest update, dehancer plugin is not showing up in premiere pro but it does in after effects, cant find a solution, does anyone had this same problem or similar with another plugin?Thank you!

I'm trying to select my personal LUT's to apply on a video, but when I go to Creative tab -> Look, I can't browse my own LUTs, there's simply no option in there for me to choose, but a list of standard available LUTs. I used to browse them with no issues on Premiere 2024, and yes, all my LUTs have the correct extension .cube, as I already use them for years now.. Also, when I click Look tab and all those "SL" LUTs appear it also auto-clicks the one my mouse is hovering, so idk, might be a bug or something? Please help!

1 more issue i using mac mini m4 for editings when i export 25minuts video in premier pro latest version it's take 15 minutes but when i render same project in premier pro version  2024 it's take only 3 minutes plzz fix this issues everyone face this problem workflow is slowdown due to latest updates plz resolve it.

I'm trying to upload a video to YouTube, but everytime I try an error pops up, saying that the proccessing has been abandoned. I've tried several file formats, and it seems like what keeps happening is that only the first second is saving as a file. I have no idea why this is happening, someone please help.

My students drag in clips they've ripped (eg archive material of news broadcasts) and PP plays them fine. But they're blurred, until you pause the playback (when they appear totally sharp). There's a yellow line above the timeline. 'Render in-to-out' doesn't change anything. How can we see them playing without looking blurry? Obviously the clip format (variable) doesn't match the timeline format (1080, 50fps). But will PP render them nicely?Help! System:Premiere Pro 2025.3.0 (Build 84)PC - Intel i7-13700 (2.10 HHz), 32 GB RAM, 

I followed this video (https://youtu.be/awn5A5FwBt0?si=Xhzyq_SPrTScru0F) to set up the below script. It creates a separate sequence for each clip in a selected bin and also names the sequences the same as the corressponding clip. I would like to modify this so it also overwries a corresponding audio file from a selected bin.So, for example, Bin A has 10 clips labelled 1-10 and Bin B has 10 wavs labelled 1-10. The script would then create a sequence with clip 1 on V1 and wav 1 on A1 (both starting at the beginning of the timeline) and name the seq the same as the clip.I'd also like the script to put the new seqs in a specified bin.   PLEASE NOTE: both clips & wavs might be called something different but they will be in a specific order according to their name.Can someone assist a total noob, please?

Here is my files and Premiere does not see them. Everything worked yesterday.

I used to be able to use 4-Color Gradient on my Color Matte layers without any issues whatsoever, but since the latest update, it seems like it is broken and it shows black no matter when or where I apply the effect to. I tried reapplying it multiple times, cleared caches etc. Also, all of my previous projects which had it now lost it too, they all show it black. Any reasons why or ways to fix? 

Hi all,I want to fade out whilst holding the last frame of a short video.I've added a still frame at the end by Clip > Video Options > Insert Frame Hold SegmentI created a keyframe part way through the still frame segment and left the opacity at 100%, then created another keyframe just in from the end of still frame segment and set the opacity to 0%As I drag the ¿¿scrubber?? across the still frame segment I can see the opacity (numbers in the effect controls panel) changes from 100 to 0% but the video image doesn't change in any way - it doesn't fade.What am I doing wrong?

Hello, after the latest update, I'm unable to right click on, or use my keyboard shortcut for enable/disable caption tracks. I tried resetting my workspace, and clearing my cache on startup. Sequence I'm using is a multicam sequence with two caption track layers.  Version 23.5.0 (Build 56)Windows 10

I need to export .OGV and .WEBM files from Premiere Pro CS5 (or, if necessary, AE CS5).Can this be done? They don't appear as export options.Thanks!

Hey, I have a question about Adobe Premiere Pro.  I hear it has the ability to convert monophonic recordings to stereophonic.  Is this true?  If so, can I have instructions on how to do this?  I know it's only for PC, which I have.   [title edited by mod]

Hey there, We are running into a really frustrating bug. The basic problem is this: When working in one OS, if you replace an asset, save the project, and open the same project in another OS, the "replace footage" command will have been forgotten, and you will have reverted back to the old asset.
