Finding two separate but equally confounding & infuriating issues with Premiere. Issue #1: I have my sequence ready to export, everything looks perfect. When I send to Media Encoder, the file shows that one of my video files is offline, despite it being online and playing back perfectly in Premiere. This happened on different machines at the same time. The only way I was able to export was to select "Replace Footage" and replaced the clip WITH THE EXACT SAME FILE, and even then I would only be able to export out of Premiere, Encoder still showed the file as offline.Issue #2: On a different computer later in the day (different project file), not only was this happening, but Premiere wasn't allowing my editor to even open the "Export" window when he clicked on it in his project. When he tried to select "Export" by going through the File > Media menu, nothing would happen. The only way he could do this was through Media Encoder, which was showing his file as offline, even thou

i got a key assigned to"select in to out".   Now, I put a in and out mark on timeline.  press F3 -- and it selects the entire (sub)clip.  Not between the in/outs I just placed i say sub clip. bcause i start with a single import into V1/A1.  then extract out pieces from that by marking in/out and extracting.    But sometimes I don't want to extract, I just want to zoom or pan  on a section.  To get there currently: I'll mark in on one frame, then out on the very next frame and extract. That gives me myleft margin for applying effects. Move to the right, however much needed,  and mark in on one frame, out on the very next and extract.  Now I've explicitly marked where I want the effects to happen.  But I'm losing frames I don't necessarily want to lose__and it also seems like a fairly stilted process.  Is that the only way to do it, since select in-to-out seems to expect hard edits?  And why bother with

Mais alguém tendo problemas para personalizar as legendas dos vídeos? Não é mais possível escolher o tamanho da fonte, opacidade, sombreamento, contorno e fundo. Ainda, tiraram a seleção via HEX de cor e deixaram somente simplificada.   Preciso confirmar que eu sou lerdo e só não encontrei o novo local de personalização de textos, pq não é possível o premiere ficar pior a cada atualização .Captura de tela 2025-12-08 183107.png

When I load NI/Izotope Ozone 11 or 12 onto a track through the audio track mixer in a PP 25.6.3 (Build 2), the metering/levels are unresponsive in the plug-in UI no matter what preset I use. They start up and are responsive for a second or so, then just freeze, and are unresponsive after starting up playback. I don't have any issues in Magix Vegas Pro 22.0 so I don't think it's a plug-in installation issue. But something in Premiere is causing the metering/UI to just stall out after starting playback. That audio is fine, and is effected, it's just that I can't see what's going on in the plug-in UI. Any suggestions on what to look for? I've included video of what's happening . Native Instrument support is aware of this, but hasn't been able to offer much help other than pass this along to their Dev team. Here's a link to see what's happening. Thanks. Dave  

In Adobe Premiere Pro version 25.6.3, the Radial Wipe effect no longer has a place to put value for the Wipe Center. And the ruined all the past edits that includes this effect. Would you please bring it back? It seems like a mistake. 

At the time of writing (01/12/2025) when I launch the newest release of Premiere Pro (25.6.2) all UI panels turn completely black and freeze briefly. Then, if I'm able to open a project and start work, Premiere is very slow and eventually crashes completely with all UI panels turning fully black and the PC becoming unresponsive, requiring a hard shutdown by holding the power key. This is running on Windows 11 Enterprise version 24H2 OS build 26100.7171, with an Intel Core Ultra 7 155H and NVIDIA RTX A500 Laptop GPU. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing and the issue persists. Steps to reproduce the problem would be to launch Premiere, open an existing project or start a new one, import some footage, create a sequence and adjust the edit points on the clip. I suspect it's a graphics driver compatability issue or something. Rolling back my install of Premiere to 25.5 seems to have resolved the issue for now, but I'd really like this to be fixed so that I can keep up-t

Hi everyone, please don’t take this the wrong way…I’m used to working on local projects and everything runs fine. But my channel is growing, so I had to hire an editor.The problem is that my editing style is pretty specific, so I only want this person to help with the basic part: placing clips on the timeline. I handle the effects, polish, and final editing.That’s the context.I paid for Google Drive to sync the files, and at first it was more or less okay. But Premiere goes crazy when we try to work with the same project setup.It crashes, freezes, and sometimes doesn’t even finish loading.Any idea how to fix this or improve the workflow?I read that Google Drive can create very long file paths/names, which might cause issues with Adobe apps. I’m not sure if that’s the real reason, but I’d love to know the most stable and optimized way to collaborate in Premiere without constant crashes.Thanks a lot!

i imported a mp4 video clip into Premiere. When i try to move it to the timeline, it only puts the entire video on my audio track. Cannot see the picture (video)Funny thing is that i can see the picture (video) along with audio in the source window.But on the timeline, it only allows me to use  the audio track.Source video window also has "video only" option. Did try that also. No luck.Could it be a codec problem?let me know. 

I load my project. I hit play on my timeline. Video plays.  I go off and do something else, come back to premiere and it wont play.  THe halftone effect on one of the clips seems to be the culprit.  Edit: this time around it was a text object in a nest. Even looking at the nest sequence it would not display it. No other effects, 1080p sequence.  The layer below contains a png. Is this a PNG issue?  Why would it work on first play, and then not again? And why is this effect causing ppro 25 to fail, when the whole timeline plays absolutely smoothly in ppro 24.  

I'm having a hell of a time trying to get this to work.  I have an srgb and wide gamut monitor. Calibrated both for photo editing and they are close enough.  In premiere the wide gamut monitor was showing everything too saturated, so Chatgpt suggested I switch it to srgb mode and recalibrate. Srgb Mode had no brightness control so I used rec709.I calibrated both monditors totally from scratch, no profiles applied or loaded. And whatever I do the ASUS remains more saturated (even in rec709 mode - although its better) and warmer, which is baffling. Its set to 6500k in hardware. The $400 monitor looks more neutral than the $2000 one.  chatGPT is great for windows trouble shooting up to a point: its final suggestion was to play with the colour controls of the asus until it looks right (facepalm)my original query was how to get this to work so I can use rec709 in premiere and adobeRGB in photoshop, but right now I dont know how to even get a decent calibration. Hello, I'm hoping someone can help me diagnose the issue I'm having when assigning audio track output channels.I'm delivering a project for broadcast with the following delivery reqs -Stereo Program· Chan 1 Left Stereo· Chan 2 Right Stereo· Chan 3 M&E· Chan 4 M&EI thought I had this set up and working but today when I went to export a second deliverable I suddenly had no audio on tracks assigned to Chan 3 and Chan 4. When I play back I can see the audio meters moving but no audio is coming out. Bonsoir, Je rencontre un problème depuis 2 semaines : je n'arrive pas à lancer Premier Pro 25 sur mon Mac Tahoe version 26.01. Lorsque je le lance, il me demande des autorisations : Je vais donc dans mes réglages, et je vois ce réglage : Et je vois que les accès sont bien donnés.J'ai désinstallé/installé plus de 5 fois Première, désinstallé Creative Cloud aussi. J'ai contacté 2 fois le service Adobe qui n'a pas trouvé la solution : il me proposait de procéder à une réinstallation. Ce que j'ai fait mais ça ne change rien.J'ai aussi tenté une installation d'une version plus ancienne de Première, ça ne change rien. J'ai également renommé le dossier pour que Première en génère un autre et redemande les accès, j'ai toujours le même problème. Hi there, All of a sudden today, clip operations for many psds in my project are greyed out (see attached). As a result all my shortcuts for Replace and Reveal no longer work. Have tried:Restarting PremiereDeleting cache for all projects and restarting PremiereResetting preference and restarting PremiereResetting the workspace to savedTrying a default workspaceRestarting the Mac I see no warnings or alerts that any media is missing and neither the project or media has been moved - but after performing the above, Replace and Reveal is greyed out for all clips. Does anyone know how to troubleshoot and fix? Any help much appreciated. I cannot export a project.  When I open the project I see an error: Film impact setting error. When I look at it's details: Film Impact plugin intercommunication failed. Default settings will be used for this session.How can I fix this problem?

Hello,I've been thinking to improve my workflow those last days working for a client. The main idea is just to get like a master project where I create sequences with all the assets I'll need on a daily basis to make my work.I thought to create a production but I wasn't really decided about it so I just created a standard project and I started to add all of my assets into it. I have a question because I noticed that once I imported this master project in project X to be able to do my daily work, if I made some changes in this master project, they won't be reflected in that project X. It seems that I have to reimport this master project if I want to get the changes which have been made but the thing is that there are already links between the files from this master project to the project X. So, am I doing something wrong there ? What would be the most appropriate workflow to be able to do this in a simple way ?Thanks,

Hey, can anyone help me -- I can't find the languag translate option anymore in  PP captions, there's only an option for the transcription. Any work arounds or what am I doing wrong? I'm almost positive there was an option for this going back ealrier in the year. Thank you!!

Not sure if the Audio Workspace was affected by a recent update...but it doesn't work like it used to. When I select Audio Workspace, the Audio Mixer doesn't show up. I had to click a tab to find it. Also, typically when playing the sequence I could adjust the audio levels as it plays so each clip in the sequence would be at the right level. But now, when I do this wherever I am on the sequence as it plays the level adjustment changes the audio level for the entire sequence not just that particular clip. What?? Is this a new bug?

Does anyone know how to get rid of this export issue? I've never seen it before, and I've tried multiple solutions (clearing media cache, changing export settings, importing the project into another project, restarting my computer, etc.) to no avail. I also have plenty of space on my drive, so I know that's not it. The project itself is very simple, no crazy graphics or anything. The processing never actually begins, it just continuously loads, so I have to force-quit Premiere to try new solutions (I am working in Windows 11 Pro). This project is due soon, please advise. Screenshot 2025-12-05 102339.png

I am an independent filmmaker and dad who has been working on a documentary for many years in the little free time I have. Premiere Pro is the system that I learned on and have used for over a decade, but this latest version has completely killed my progress on my latest film and my interest in working on films all together. On the rare occasion that I have a few hours to spend working on my project, I spend most of my time frustrated by slow playback and rendering times, a laggy UI, clips that won't load at all, and other issues. Upon doing some research to see if there's anything I can do to fix the problems, I find everyone talking about the same things and no resolution in sight. Extremely frustrated with Adobe in general. GIVE ME BACK MY CS6 WHEN I DIDN'T PAY A SUB AND EVERYTHING WORKED!

Bonjour, J'essaie d'exporter depuis Première avec Média encoder mais j'ai un message d'échec qui me dit : "Le média hors ligne a été codé à l’aide du graphique Média hors ligne.Impossible de créer la sortie. Vérifiez si la sortie est en lecture seule ou verrouillée" Mes médias dans Première ne sont pourtant pas en off-line. Mon fichier est en lecture et écriture autorisée (mais peut-être cela n'est pas la même chose lorsqu'il s'agit de la sortie ?)J'ai aussi décocher dans Média encoder "Importer les séquences nativement..." Savez-vous comment résoudre ce problème, je ne parviens pas à faire mes exports. Merci pour votre aide !!!

Version 25.6.2 Dealing with repeated crashes using .NEV nikon raw files. crashing seems sporatic, so far triggers have been opening source raw settings and trying to playback a file in the source monitor. functionality returns after a software reboot but happens again shorlty after.  See attached screen recording showing premiere crash after trying to double click and preview another nev clip in source monitor (mosaic is just redacting client content)

Hello, I have a really strange bug in PP 24.6.8.When i launch the soft everything seems to work fine, i can watch and edit my rushes fluently, use the Option effect panel, etc... But as soon as I open the effects panel, PP crash instantly.I tried older version of PP 2024, still have the same issue. I don't have this problem on PP 2023 and PP 2025, but for this project i have to work specifacely on PP 2024. Has anyone else encountered this situation? Is there a way to fix this problem?Thanks in advance! Léo

I had edited a video on Premier pro using a templete to help fit within tiktoks view screen. After I had exported the video i went to watch the video and when it started the audio immeditely had this glitching/crackling effect to it. I went back to premier pro to the editing area and the audio sounded fine there and where you go to export.I tried troubleshooting a bunch of things but it still exports the same. Any tips or ideas why this is happening?

Bonjour, Je contacte la communauté Adobe car je rentre des difficultés avec la génération de sous-titres dans Premiere Pro depuis 2 jours. En effet, la transcription ne comporte que des erreurs et n'a aucun sens (seuls quelques mots sont corrects). Pourtant, la voix dans le vidéo est de très bonne qualité. J'ai essayé de sous-titrer la vidéo avec deux autres outils et ça fonctionne très bien. Je n'ai jamais rencontré ce problème avec Premiere Pro.Je veille à faire les bons réglages lors de la transcription (je sélectionne la langue, la piste audio contenant la voix off...). Auriez-vous des pistes à me donner pour résoudre ce problème ?J'utilise la version 25.6.3. Je travaille avec un Macbook Pro M5 Merci de votre aide 🙂
