please describe your workaround. We are a small compagny, but nervertheless we do bring  10 terra per year of shooting home.Liek every very year it's always the same problem. I  start of the year like, "yeah we need some new space, let's consolidate" But...nowe all know it's a mess, PM is not even close to work all right. please friends, how do you manage to consolidate without spending a day per project ? Sequences with alpha, with dynamik links to AE, with AI, animations, nested sequences, MP4, Pro Ress LT or 422, more than 2 sound channel...Working on a external NAS Synology with SSD for production and HDD for archives. every help is helpfull. If Plumepack is the solution than ok. Best Community so.Damien(FR, DE, EN)

After importing my video, the audio waves are visually out of sync when zoomed out, I have to zoom into the timeline for it to fix itself but that makes cutting up the audio very difficult.  My 1st audio track is my mic then my 2nd is system sounds Zoomed OUT of the timeline it goes out of sync and then zoomed in, it's resynced   Zooming in and out of my timeline, watch the audio wavelengths

Hi, I'm getting used to PP after many years on Avid.  Quickie, in Avid, when adjusting audio levels, you can place your mouse over the fader and scroll on the mouse wheel for fine adjustments.  Can I do the same in PP? D. [Typo in title fixed by moderator]

Hi, trying to fill this text with an image.I have a video playing as the base in v1, a scaled image in v2 and the text in v3.In the image below it shows the text with a stroke and no fill to expose the image below it, but you can see the image bleeding out around the stroke.Is there a way for the image in v2 to become the fill in v3 or hide the excess that's outside of the stroke, without comprimising the video in v1?

Hi everyone,I’m having an issue in Adobe Premiere Pro where keyboard shortcuts and basic timeline controls like cut, trim, ripple delete, and play or pause sometimes stop working. Mouse actions still work, but certain keys do nothing.I’ve already checked the keyboard shortcut settings, confirmed I’m using the correct keyboard layout in Windows, reset Premiere Pro preferences, and made sure the correct panel is active.Is there a reliable way in Premiere Pro to determine whether this is a software or shortcut configuration problem versus a keyboard input issue? I've been using a linked style to all my text, and then I change the size depending on what I need for the clip. Occasionally, however, the text size will reset back to the linked style default. I've read that I need to go in and "un-link" my text so this won't happen. But when I go in to the settings, my text says "None" under "Linked style".  Any suggestions?

I feel like I'm just missing something simple, but I used to be able to set up a mask and then move through the video and edit the mask (move the points) and change the way it looked. Now it seems to stay the same without morphing. I like the new object mask. It is awesome. But is there a way to also do the old way, where you can control what's going on? 

Tried with version 25.6.3 and 25.6.1....neither will work. It's like dynamic link is broken. I have cleared the media caches. I have restarted my computer multiple times. I have done fresh installs. Nothing is working. I'll bet that because Media Encoder is just version 25.6 and premiere is 25.6.x....well there it is. This isnt a bug report yet, its a sanity check:I'm working on a largish project (for me at least), and sometimes when I open the project I get a crash:Windows successfully diagnosed a low virtual memory condition. The following programs consumed the most virtual memory: Adobe Premiere Pro.exe (17144) consumed 147442409472 bytes, ImporterREDServer.exe (25508) consumed 1148080128 bytes, and ImporterREDServer.exe (19560) consumed 1090265088 bytes.That 147gb that premiere wants is vaguely consistent.  I have been hardware troubleshooting the system for several days, getting chatGPT to analyse errors, and it keeps changing its mind over whether the root cause is system or software. Bonsoir à tous, Je travaille actuellement sur un montage auquel je n'ai apporté que très peu de modifications (j'ai ajouté 4 extraits plus au moins longs issus d'une autre source vidéo et j'ai rajouté un peu de lumière) par rapport à la vidéo d'origine.  Auriez-vous des conseils à me donner pour conserver au maxium la qualité originale de la vidéo ? J'aimerais avoir le moins de perte possible même si avec l'export forcément, la qualité risque de baisser un petit peu. La vidéo d'origine est en 25i pour un format de 720x576. J'ai passé la vidéo en 50p (en la glissant simplement dans la timeline avec une séquence réglée en 50 images/sec) pour un meilleur rendu, car il y a beaucoup de mouvement et de vitesse.  Le débit d'orgine est de 5600 kb/s avec un balayage entrelacé.Pour l'export, j'ai l'habitude d'exporter mes vidéos en H264 en veillant bien à cocher rendu à la résolution maximale et utiliser la qualité de rendu maximale. My frame size for export is 1 pixel off vertically and horizontally. I'm exporting for a website and it needs to be precisely 767x407. in the Sequence settings its correct but every time i try to export the thing it automatically adjusts the frame to 766x406 which is incorrect. What's more annoying is when i try to manually correct it the settings simply snap back to 766x406. Nothing i do seems to work. Please help 

Hello, with Adobe Premiere Pro overall I am experiencing a lot of lagging during playback. It is some time since I updated it, so I decided to update. I believe that I was using Adobe Premiere Pro 25.0 and I updated it to the newest 25.6.2. After the update, I exported two of my videos containing also the drone footage from DJI Mini 4 Pro (.MOV file). And it seems that there is some problem with the latest version of Premiere Pro and these DJI footage files. I was watching back the videos that I exported and everytime the drone footage came into play, it froze on the first frame. Up until another cut to a footage from my camera. I opened the Premiere and it did the same thing in the software. I am working with this kind of drone footage regularly, so I had to downgrade back to version 25.0.  Is there any way to resolve this playback issue? I didn't try to play footage from any other drone than this, but I am afraid that there is some problem with reading that codec,

Hello Adobe Community,I am currently developing an Importer using the Premiere Pro SDK.The goal of the importer I am working on is to function purely as a dummy clip.When a file is dropped onto the timeline from a CEP panel, the Project panel, or Windows Explorer, it should only store the start time and duration and then be removed.In other words, the clip itself does not represent actual media.The behavior of the Premiere Composer importer plugin matches exactly what I am aiming to achieve.At the moment, I have successfully implemented importing as a single clip, and this works as expected.However, I have been unable to implement the behavior where multiple streams are recognized as a single clip, but when dropped onto the timeline, they are expanded into a stacked, layered structure.To be honest, I am not even certain whether this kind of behavior is achievable at the Importer API level.I have already spent a significant amount of time working on importer development, but unfortunate

The UI will scale/transform in a buggy way, my pointer turns into a spinner, (not responding) will appear in the program title. I cant switch to other running programs, and when I can, those other programs respond very slow, I get a temporary black screen. What's wrong, how can I fix this? New Nvidia driver from January 5th seems to have resolved export crashes on Nvidia 50 series cards.Leaving a report, the driver released yesterday seems to have solved the problem of export crashes in Premiere on Nvidia 50 series cards, which is my case. I did a clean install and restarted the computer. Since I don't have a large amount of video material to test with larger videos, I'm not sure if large material will crash. I tested it with a personal family video 4k , a little over 15 minutes long. Exporting in both Premiere and Media Encoder didn't crash; it was very fluid. When I place a 4K video into a 1080x1920 project sequence, it doesn't automatically fit the video into the sequence. Instead, the scale value becomes 100. I have to manually fit %50 the video using the properties section. Why doesn't it automatically fit the video into the sequence when I place it?

Hello, I have a multicam XML file (six cameras, one audio recorder) generated from Tentacle Sync Studio, everything is already synced. What would be the best way to open it in Premiere Pro as a multicam sequence, displaying the six cameras in a multiview window, so I can edit like in "switcher mode"? Also, is there a way to display the original TC on each camera view? Appreciate the help, thanks!

Riddle me this Adobe Community...I began a massive documentary project in 2016. Every year or so, I would do the old "open a fresh project and import the old one into it." Everything hummed along fine for years. The project was once housed on a wonderful Pegasus drive, and was later transferred to a faster G Raid Shuttle. Last year, the gears began to grind HARD.- Opening this project takes about ten minutes.- Saving takes almost a solid minute.- Despite the sequences being HD on a Mac Studio, there is a bit of a lag when hitting play. - The absolute worst, time sucking, "pull your hair out" issue is exporting. It can take 5 minutes just to get the export window to open. Sometimes the export window doesn't open at all. I've done it, and then some. Refreshed the project, cleaned media cache, rewriteen the audio pek files several times, reinstalled Premiere Pro, hunted around for specific clips that cause hiccups to rule out corrupt media, on and on. I'm running a MacBook Pro M3pro with a second monitor via Display port (using a calldigit hub via thunderbolt).im trying to plug an HDMI monitor (via hdmi output on the computer) so I can have a clean program signal from Premiere and although Mac OS recognises this monitor and lets me use it as a second extended screen, Premiere isn't pumping the signal once I check its box on the Playback settings page. I was planning on messing around with trying to get back into editing again after a few years off. The other day when I was editing a video I didn't run into these problems, but now my text positions aren't lining up at all?All of them are either wrong or different to each other, in the photo I've highlighted the red, which is the position and green, the anchor points. I've tried looking it up online but I couldn't find anything, tried new projects, restarting premiere, restarting the computer but I think I must have formatted it and I don't know what I've done. Hi, Can't send an audio clip from Premier Pro to Audition for editing. Reinstalling both apps doesn't help. Error 0xc0000142. Using Adobe Premiere Ppro 25.6.3, Audition 25.6. Any suggestions?  Thank you.

Prior to me opening up Creative cloud, my co-worker informed me that we would be using the Creative Cloud applications at our company. My co-worker also elaborated that there was no instruction manual to assist a person (PDF instruction manual for download) in finding out how to properly run these applications. I said "alright, I will be down there to see what you are talking about. When I arrived, I told her that anything you purchased, had to have a instruction manual.
