Hello. There are a few bugs that have been around for a few months now.The worst one is that when I'm editing text, the keyboard shortcuts aren't disabled as they should be, and they were before. So while I'm typing random letters it does all kinds of actions that it shouldn't do. Like take me to the beginning or the end of the timeline when typing "i" or "o", etc. These should be disabled when we are typing text and the text tool is selected. The output is completely random; a few times you type those letters and everything is ok, but then most of the time they activate the keyboard shortcuts and sometimes it types the letters, sometimes it doesn't. I can't believe this bug hasn't been solved yet. I do a lot of videos with significant text and this bug is extremely frustrating.And another bug I wanna report happens when copying different elements on the timeline that have the FilmImpact effects. For instance, I copy a text that has the Block Motion effect a few times and then suddenly

I work in Japan.I transcribed audio, but because my def language was set to english, it got transcribed wrong.But because Adobe devs are so smart, you can't clear or delete transcription by just clicking "delete". There is also no re-transcribe option or re-transcribe into another language. So I look it up online, apparently you have to swap out the transcribed audio with the source. Which I did. But guess what, the changed audio does not come up in the transcription window. So I can't transcribe it.   Lord almighty give me strength. Somebody help me.

I have looked to change the language in the ctrl+f12 console with the command application language fr_ca and it does not work. Uninstalling it is my last resort i would need to ask a member of the tech team to do that and i would rather not at the moment. My preferences in my creative clouds are all set to french canadien. Has it anything to do with the update?

So I'm kinda new to the multicam game, but I get it for the most part. My biggest issue, for which I have formaulated a complicated workaround but need a simpler one, is that the audio channels are behaving strangely in the resulting sequence from my multicam. I want the audio channels to act like they would whenever I create a standard sequence - but they're not. Some of the audio plays through left only, some right, I can't really apply "fill" effects to switch sides. One channel, for some reason, plays audio really muffled. Anyone experience this and know a quick solution? 

I'm trying to copy a timeline and rename it, but it seems that copying and renaming a single timeline works fine.However, if I copy a new timeline first and then try to rename it, it fails.Are there any sample code or API examples for this? I'm unsure if the new timeline needs to be activated or if there are any additional steps involved. Thank you. PR on Mac, ver 25.5

This morning Adobe let me know that there are updates of several Adobe apps.After installijng them Lightroom and Photoshop remained on my desktop app-page, but Premiere disappeared. The Sequence Tab on the Frame.io panel flashes non-stop. Tried restarting program and computer but no change. Seems to have started in 25.6.3. Browse Tab does not have the same issue. 

Hi.. I have two video clips that are overlapping a you can see.  Due to the way the footage is output, the last few frames of the first clip are duplicated in the first few frames of the clip. Each export/download of video, the number of overlapping frames is different, thus, presently it's a very manual process to align them, and a bit tedious. I found if I set the top clip to Difference Blend Mode, I can nudge it to the left one frame at a time until the screen goes completely black. I'm wondering if using UXP if I can automate this process... basically nudge one frame at a time, and analyze all the pixels to see if they're all black. First question I have is, is there a method to analyize the current frame output in this way?  if so, please advise how... 

I'm trying to edit the timeline subtitles in Premiere Pro, and I'd like to be able to add, modify, and delete certain subtitle segments using the API.However, I can't seem to find the corresponding interface. Are there any documents or tips on how to do this? Thank you.

Adobe Premiere V25 (including current update) has made in app encoding impossible. A two minute cuts only video with titles takes 11 minuted to encode. Yet if I send it to media encoder it take one minute. I am greatly frustrated and perturbed. I spent three hours this morning tech'ing through my network 10gb card and harassing IT. The card was not the problem.  There is no excuse for this issue, it was bothering me, so I jumped through every hoop I could find to no avail. I landed at the truth Adobe Premiere is unusable for rendering output in a rational amount of time, and I am upset by this. WTF adobie!

I am trying to create an automation in Premiere Pro and I would like to add the user input via a dropdown menu but through an standalone prompt window, not the Automation Blocks inputs panel. The Automation Blocks manual says I should see a block named "Modal Input Dialog" in the "User Interface and Comments" section that does exactly what I want, however I don't see it in my Automation Blocks block editor panel. Is this block only available in the After Effects version of Automation Blocks? If so, @Mathias Moehl could it be made clearer in the user manual which blocks are available in which version of the extension? For reference, I am using Automation Blocks for Premiere Pro v1.1.012.

I am experiencing a playback issue in the latest version of Adobe Premiere Pro.When I use the L key to increase playback speed (2x or higher), the video playback becomes unstable after a few seconds. The image becomes choppy, and GPU-based effects such as blur or mask-based effects appear misaligned or detached from the subject during playback.Important points:- Normal playback speed (1x) works correctly- Paused frames are correct- Final export/rendered files are correct- The issue occurs only during accelerated playback- This did not occur in older versions of Premiere ProSystem specifications:- OS: Windows 11- CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X (16-Core, 4.30 GHz)- GPU: Water-cooled NVIDIA RTX 4080 SUPER- RAM: 128 GBAdditional details:- The issue occurs with both 60fps and 30fps footage- Resolution: FHD (1920×1080)- It happens even when:- Playback resolution is set to 1/4- Switching between Hardware Acceleration and Software Only rendering- GPU drivers are up to date- Mercury Transmit is disable

Hi everyone, I've been consolidating my movies from 2025 and all was going well until I hit our videos from a trip to Vegas. My timeline has a combination of portrait and landscape videos, and the portrait ones show up fine. For the landscape ones, they're showing up in a portrait frame and I can't figure it out. If I fit to frame I see the entire video but it's still in portrait, and if I rotate it using the option to the right it fills the frame but now it's sideways. I tried asking AI but they're all asking me to go to menu options that don't exist. 😂 Thanks!  

Hello Neil   Although this is a very old post, I would still like to respond to it because the issue remains the same today. I feel exactly the same way; every time I update the Adobe apps, I worry whether everything will still work smoothly afterwards.   I have set my system to install Adobe updates automatically (because otherwise I always put off updates for a long time, and this way I am always up to date), but this can probably backfire if something doesn't work and you want to revert to the older version. For reasons of storage space and organization, I have set it to delete the old version (and settings are probably also deleted with it). But if that doesn't work, you're stuck because you can't go back. It would be very useful to have a function that deletes the previous settings/apps, but only after 30 days or a customizable number of days, for example. Or if there were a general cleanup function that would allow you to delete old settings (some of which still contain

Hi! My EDL is giving sequence timecode in and outs that don't correspond to my timeline. It will say 03;00, for example, but if I go to 03;00, the clip isn't there.  All the offending clips are marked split delay, and when I unlink audio and video, the issue resolves.  I assume split delay means that audio and video from the same source are staggered or something, but would love more intel on what this means and why the timecode isn't what's in the timeline! Hey everyone, I'm trying to edit a podcast in Premiere that was shot from a Sony A7S III in s-log3. The footage, however, is being converted to rec709 automatically and I can't figure out why. I've read similar posts on here and tried what they suggested (right click>modify>color> override media color space) but nothing seems to bring back the "flat" looking s-log3 and allowing me to apply the LUT I want. Can anyone please help me out? I'm losing my mind over this. I'm on a M1 Macbook Pro and have never had this issue before. I've attached screenshots to show my settings and how the footage is looking when it should be looking like standard log footage. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi,I can no longer use my Adobe Premiere. One day I’m editing normally, and the next day I can’t even open or create any project because the software stops responding before the workspace even loads. As a result, the frozen window prevents me from using any other software. Please understand that it’s not the operating system that is frozen—only the Adobe Premiere window. All drivers are up to date. I’ve already reinstalled the software and even Creative Cloud. All other Adobe programs work normally, including After Effects. When this happens, I have to force the machine to shut down using the physical power button, because trying to shut down or restart results in hours on the “shutting down” screen that never completes. After countless attempts, I managed at least to access Premiere’s settings tab. I allocated more RAM, cleared the cache, and during the uninstallations I removed every single trace of installation folders so that the reinstallation would be as clean as possib

I use Premiere Pro regularly for work to transcribe audio and create subtitles/closed captions, but I’ve recently run into a really strange issue.My captions no longer appear in either the Program Monitor preview or my exports. Ich würde gerne die SmartTags meines Atomos Ninja V verwenden um schon vorab meine Clips grob zu ordnen. Nur finde ich kein Weg die Infos in Premiere zu impotieren. Auf der Atomos Webseite wird vorgeschlagen den weg über DaVinci zu nehmen. DaVinci will die vom Ninja V erstellte FCPXML auch nicht öffnen. Wo könnte der Fehler liegen?

I've recently downloaded the Automation Blocks Plugin with the hopes to create some template video files within Premiere that can easily be updated. The batch replace from a spreadsheet tool is incredibly useful and is effective at updating almost every parameter I would want. The only thing I am now struggling with is how to update source text as Adobe have now moved this into the text panel instead of properties in Premiere 25 so I can't seem to get Automation Blocks to detect the source text as a parameter to then be able to edit in my spreadsheet. Has anyone figured out a work around to this? Thanks
