Premiere (and other applications) seem to use almost all available resources on Windows, even now after upgrading to more RAM (32GB). It was the same before with 16GB and it's the same now with 32GB:     Why is Premiere using so much RAM and Processing power and also, anyone who knows Windows well, why is it showing such high RAM and CPU usage despite Premiere only showing only using 2.5GB RAM and 1.5% CPU ?

Hello, I've been developing my workflow to edit features using Premiere Productions. It's really great, but have two big issues. 1. The "show duplicate frame markers" doesn't work consistently in Productions. I think it's due to the media getting confused about what's in the "project" when the media is linking to a different "project" in the production?  2. Audio waveform issues. Sometimes, the waveforms will glitch out in the timeline - they'll be invisible, and I'll zoom in or out to the perfefct size and they'll show up, then disappear again. Also with multicam clips - they're great, but it's very hit or miss whether the waveforms will generate. See below for screenshots of "invisible waveforms", both in the timeline and the source monitor. This happens with multicam clips in general, and with a fair amount of audio clips when in a Production. Would love to hear how Adobe is working on fixing this or if anyone has found a way to avoid these issues 🙂&

Hi, I have about a 10 minute-long video in Premier Pro (I'm editing on MacBook Pro with external hard drive - MyPassport ultra is the brand). The program monitor is completely black no matter where I am in the timeline. I still have audio, but no graphics or video.  I saw clearing my cache could help but will clearing it effect/erase my project? Is the external hard drive a factor?  Some things I've already tried:- Reducing playback resolution- checked playback renderer in file > project settings > general. (for some reason I can't change the renderer, like its grayed out so I can't click drop down)- checked systems compatibility report (no issues showing up) I'm 60 hours deep into these projects, I really can't lose them. Any help would be immensely appreciated.

Hey everyone,I’ve got a question regarding LUT creation in Premiere Pro. I’ve applied multiple Lumetri Color effects to a single clip (stacked for different adjustments), and I’m really happy with the final grade. Now I’d like to export that grade as a LUT for reuse.But here’s the issue: when I go to export a LUT, Premiere seems to only save the first (or one) Lumetri instance, not the combined result of all stacked adjustments.Has anyone figured out a good workflow to export a LUT that reflects all Lumetri instances on a clip? Any tips or workarounds would be much appreciated!Thanks in advance!

Hello, in the new PPRO version my Intuos Pro tablet does not pan/scroll only partially (on the timeline not, in the bin lists it works), I mention that I am using the driver from 2021 which so far has worked ok, with new drivers the function does not work on any version of Premiere. As a professional video editor, I appreciate the new tools added in the latest Premiere Pro updates—they're genuinely useful. But when it comes to captions? It's a total nightmare. Whether I'm working in English or Spanish, I sometimes get results in Chinese, Thai, Portuguese... even Korean. Honestly, CapCut handles captions better than Premiere. Sorry, but both the captioning system and warp stabilization still need serious improvements.

I bought my wife the new Surface Laptop with Snapdragon for her birthday last fall expecting that the CC suite including Premiere would get ported to ARM Native as promised by Adobe. Thus far, emulation mode is a huge disappointment. She produces a lot of videos for her work, and the performance and rendering/encoding is much slower than her old Intel Surface Laptop 3. It also crashes all the time. Is the ARM Native port still planned? If so, what is the ETA? Some official communication would be appreciated in this regard. Let us know so we can either sell our laptops and get new machines, or know how long we should wait for.  

I have a 6-camera multicam sequence which is behaving in a very unpredictable way. Random segments of the video of outputting only total blackness. Looking at the multi-cam view, I see all 6 cameras on the left, and can see footage being output on the camera that I've chosen to be currently active. But the output preview on the right is totally black. Switching to composite video view still only gives a black screen, and doing a preview render still gives the same result. I can switch the segment of the multicam sequence to a different clip, and then it'll be fine, but then I switch back to the camera I want, and it's black again. I've tinkered around in the underlying sequence to make sure there's no effects or other settings there that would cause the video not to display but can't find anything that should effect it.This is specifically affecting two out of my six camera angles on this project. I've just converted an existing project to a Production. Now default keyboard commands are behaving erratically.Usually I use CMD + Up Arrow to jump to the head of my sequence. Now that command jumps to and selects the previous clip.Usually I use / (forward slash) to display the full timeline/sequence. Now that adds in and out points. I'm having this issue across different Productions. It perists after restarting my computer.Is this a known bug? Is there any AI software that can help with creating shortcuts or keyframing?

Anybody facing the same issue as mine? Premiere wont showing the import/export page but still responsive. And also when i typing on Effects panel to search my plugin, the text wont show up. So i turned off (untick) the GPU Accelerated UI and it works, but the timeline are so glitch-y (of course it's because that accelerated turned off). So i turned back on again, and i get back on my main problem again.Before this problem occurs, i'm using Premiere 25.0 just like usual. Is it because of my GPU that cause the problem?I did some things before posting this:1. Reinstall driver, switching between Gaming and Studio (Nvidia)2. Reinstall Premiere Pro 25.03. Dear Adobe Premiere Pro Support Team, I am currently developing a Premiere Pro extension using the UXP scripting API, and I am encountering difficulties when trying to access captions from a sequence’s CaptionTrack. Specifically, I can successfully retrieve the CaptionTrack object using sequence.getCaptionTrack(), and I can confirm its presence and properties such as id and name. However, when attempting to get caption items using methods like getItems() or getTrackItems(), I consistently receive errors such as: “Not Enough Parameters” “captionTrack.getItems is not a function” From inspecting the CaptionTrack object, I found that it has a method getTrackItems(), but it appears to require parameters which are not clearly documented. Just to make you all aware, having done exhaustive tests over a couple of hours, when exporting XML via 23.1.0 build 63, the 'Push' effect will stall your export indefinitely. Removing the effect from the timeline will allow a full export, as expected. This issue may have been resolved in a later update.

Since I have updated to the latest version of Premiere Pro my Lumetri Panel has become unresponsive. It doesn't matter what preferences I change in the Lumetri Panel, nothing seems to work. As I use predominantly use log, it is very important that I can toggle various settings within Lumetri. Previous to the update everything was working fine (apart from Audio Track Meter not appearing which is another problem). I have uninstalled the latest version of Premiere Pro and trying out the Beta version.Any reason why this is happening and the Lumetri Panel unrepsonsive? I have Mac Studio on Sequoia 15.5 / Apple M1 Max

I just bought a new computer (i9 Ultra 285K, 64GB RAM, NVIDIA 5070 16GB) to speed up my video exporting process and allow myself to multitask while exporting. However, as of the last week, I've found that if I try to pull up my web browser (Microsoft Edge) during the export, the export time estimation and percentage will freeze. Additionally, when I go to cancel the export, my Premiere timeline scrubbing will remain frozen, and I can only access certain features in Premiere. If I try to close the app, it freezes and stops responding. Even after forcing it to quit, it remains in my task manager and cannot be ended unless I restart my computer. I have more than enough RAM to accommodate my browsing and exporting at the same time (both processes combined take less than 35%). It's also interesting to me that Premiere itself seems to freeze after cancelling the export--almost as though my browsing shocks it into not or barely responding. Hi,I have a bunch of footage shot in log, without stabilization.  We show the client, who then tells us which clips they want for their archive.  It's easiest to drop each clip into a single timeline and then "render and replace" the timeline, which bakes the coloring and stabilization.  However, we now have a few clips that are also getting nested (mostly for speed and duration + stabilization, etc.).  Those don't work with Render and Replace.Is there an easy way to render multiple in/out points, with the effects, including effects within nested clips?  I know I can select a clip, mark in and out, and then add to media encoder, but doing that 20 times would be a pain, especially if there is an easier way.Thanks!

So I notice that  if I drop a clip on the time line and make several edits.  On my long form sometimes its100s of edits.  When I ad an effect onto a track it makes a list of attributes of that track in Effects controlsIf I make an adjustment to one clip, 90% of the time I want that effect on all of the edits on the time lineie. audio adjustments ect.  But, when I copy a clip and paste attributes to my other 99 clips I WOULD LIKE IT TO REPLACE ATTRIBUTES NOT ADD TO THEM!  anyone else have this issue?

Windows 10, NVIDIA 2090, 64g RAM, PP V 25.3 80% of the time, when I'm playing back video on the timeline, I'll press stop and the audio will keep on going for another 30-45 seconds. I can save the project, I can move the mouse cusor around, I can do other things in PP, but it seems the audio must continue playing for some time, before it finally stops. The video freezes during this, BTW. This is killing my productivity!

Hi all! So, I have been having this weird problem while I am using the media replacement option in Mogrts. Whenever I try to to replace more than one video in the respective mogrt, apart from the first video, all the subsequent ones come out as black and white, regardless of  their actual color. So far I have tried everything, but have been unable to figure the reason or the solution to this problem. Basically, it has stopped my work dead in its tracks. Any, insight or clue towards solving my problem will be very helpful.

I am using Premiere Pro on Windows 10. I am editing a vertical video and I changed the program monitor to 9:16 aspect ratio however when I open any clips in the source monitor panel, the monitor is set horizontal 16:9. I applied a 'transform' master clip effect to the files to get them in the right orientation but that doesn't make the source monitor flip. How do I do this? Thank you.

Hi, I have noticed that PPRO unpredictably scales/crops to fit to sequence's resolution dragged adjustment layerso adjustment layer of 1920x1080 dragged into 640x320 or 1280/720 seq becomes 640x320 or 1280/720 accordinly,  scaling from lower than 100% shows that the layer gets croppedwhile for 4k footage it doesn't upscaleI am building script that has to set adj layer scale in accordance with the seq's resolution, but cannot get to understand how to ensure the scale is correct as there is no way to extract real clip's box
