Hello, Currently I am using Adobe Acrobat X Standard on Windows 7 Ultimate. I'm trying to convert .msg files in a specific folder in Outlook 7 into a single .pdf file. I know how to right click the folder in Outlook then click Convert to Adobe PDF. My question is, is there a way to limit the file size for the conversion? The file sizes are very large. When opening the PDF after the conversion, the files take a very long time to open due to the amount of data I have stored in the file. I thought if I can limit the file size upon conversion it might not take so long to open the file after the conversion? Is this at all a possibility? Thank you.
Adobe AI does NOT work well in the legal environment. It often stops responding; the filters prevent many documents from being reviewed, without issuing any warning, and the product simply stops responding mid-result. Lawyers are recommended to use Co-Pilot instead, which does a great job on legal documents and doesn't have any of the baked-in problems with Adobe AI. It's a great idea and potentially a huge timesaver, which is unfortunately not well-suited to the legal community, where 'controversial topics/words' are prevalent.
Hi, I've had my Adobe membership for nearly a year I'm just waiting for canceling my membership without paying the cancellation fee. So, my understanding is after one year of membership you can cancel for free ?
Hi, So I've researched the above a lot and tried the settings in the browser and also inside Adobe Acrobat itself. None of it works, all of it is currently turned off. I've tried turning them on and off in different combinations, restarting etc. etc. yet Acrobat opens, lags the hell out of my PC and is driving me up a wall. It's a work computer so no access to registry etc. Please assist. Thanks
About every tenth file I open I get a blank screen. This has been going on for about a month. I've shut down, restarted, deleted preferences, and reinstalled Acrobat twice, and still having this problem. Quitting and reopening the file works, but I'm having to do this about twenty times a day. No one else in my department is having this problem. I have the current version of both Creative Cloud and Acrobat Pro for Windows 11 installed. When I try to save as PDF/A (archival PDF), I get an alert that I have to manually install Preflight to Acrobat Pro to save as PDF/A. In Acrobat Pro pops up a link to install now. This link takes me to the Adobe page to download and reinstall Acrobat Pro and the loop starts over. I tried uninstalling Acrobat Pro before reinstalling and not doing that. I searched for an Acrobat Cleaner Tool but what I found only works with a standalone version. What do I do now? Windows 11 Pro 64x version 24H2 Creative Cloud version 6.8.0.821 Acrobat Pro version is 25.1.20756 [Title edited for clarity]
I've been using Acrobat for years and have never had an issue where the external editor will not open. I've tried:Changing to a different editorChanging to the Acrobat editor and back to an external editorModifying the JavaScript settings (unchecked everything using several scenarios) Any suggestions? I see that Tuesday, October 12, 2021 there was an update... Could the new update caused a bug? The only other things I can think to do is try to repair the installation or try to reinstall the previous version...
Wie bekomme ich von meinem alten Computer mit Wi10 Acrobat auf meinen neuen Computer Wi 11?Wer kann mir helfen?
The Zoom In (+) and Zoom Out (-) buttons, and the zoom percentage text box disappeared from my toolbar, and I can't get them back. These controls are only accessible through the menus or the undocked floating panel. Re-docking the panel doesn't bring these controls with it. Right-click "Show Select & Zoom Tools" doesn't even list them.It appears that this issue only occurs when Adobe Reader is set to 'open new documents in new windows'. The drop down % bar only shows in the toolbar when 'open new documents in a tab' is enabled.I very much prefer to have new documents opening in separate windows, but I also want the drop down % icon to show in that mode. The same tools should be present in both views. Availability of tools or where they can be pinned should not depend on a setting for opening new documents. It does not make sense.Adobe won't let me report this issue, perhaps because I have a free version. Is there any way to tackle this? Is there anyone from Adobe reading along and w
Greetings all, I have a PDF of 10 pages that I'm trying to split into single pages. I go to the Split function, tell it what folder I want it to split to, and ensure that the page number is set to one. However, when the function runs, I get the following message. I want it to be split into 10 documents, not 5. If I try to split the two page document, I get an alert saying that the File already has 2 pages or fewer. Thank you very much for any help you can give me.
Please help someone! I'm trying to translate a formatted/ table based document into Czech. I thought I had purchased the Acrobat AI upgrade (apparently not) so tried to ask the AI assistant to do it. it initially went ok and whist it wasn't in a format I could download, the numbered sections were clear enough for me to add them individually to my original document. Ii couldn't download, so copied and pasted to Word in the meantime. I decided to upgrade to see if it could do a better job as apparently I ran out of searches (not the correct term). Paid / logged out and back in etc and started again. dragged and dropped the same document, asked if it could translate etc, just like before. Was told it could not translate the document and had the (cursing removed) nerve to suggest I copied and pasted each paragraph into Google, and then pasted that into my document. When I suggested it had literally done exactly what I had asked of it about 2 hours ago it's g
Hello everyone,So I've created a form with a dropdown that triggers separate, dependent dropdown to show a group of choices based on the selection from the driving dropdown. Everything works perfectly however, some sales reps report that the PDF form malfunctions with dropdowns not updating or freezing up. Below is a snippet of the code looks like in the "Validate" tab's "Run custom validation script" field of the DRIVING dropdowns. The code is much longer than this with other entries, but generally consistent as you see. Again, everything works perfectly even though my form is very dense with many dropdowns and fields referencing others, all stitched together to produce one final summed Part# and Total Price.I was forced for the moment to "dummy down" my form but it resulted in many more separate fields/dropdowns, and manual entries. if(event.value == '4"x8"x48"')this.getField("SPC1").setItems([['24" OC','24']]);else if(event.value == '2"x5"x96"')this.getField("SPC1").setIte

I have done everything I can to try and fix this problem, including uninstalling and reinstalling Acrobat and nothing is working. I cannot print color pdfs. They always print in grayscale/black and white. I've checked whatever settings I can find, printed as image, you name it...still the same thing. I'm using Windows 11 Home and an HP printer. I'm so incredibly frustrated!
When I write a doc in English and send it for preparation it goes to echosign.jp. When I open the document that is sent to me the instructions are in Japanese. How can I get Adobe pro to provide the instructions in English? - without having to change my location with a VPN.
I have a flyer that was created, which contains three images with alt text. The entire document is tagged, and I have been manually working on the reading order. The reading order looks correct, but every time it gets to the image it doesn't read the alt text at all. The screen reader is only reading the text. How do I fix this issue? Thank you!
I have created a fillable PDF. I created it completely in Acrobat Pro DC. Now that the functionality is in place, I need to rearrange things a bit. Somewhere along the way, it has combined individual text boxes in to one. I don't see any easy to move a text box without moving 2 or more that I don't want to move. Is there a way to split these up back into individual pieces? Thanks!
Acrobat had been working great until today. I was scanning multipage documents no problem. Now, out of the blue, acrobat will pull all of the pages through the scanner but only first page shows up scanned within acrobat. I can add single pages to that original scan but I want to scan multi-page documents all at once again. I uninstalled and re-installed my printer/scanner and still no luck. I am going to try and uninstall and reinstall acrobat here shortly.
Post Content:Hi everyone,I work on creating downloadable guides and technical reports for our solar energy website — https://nedes.us/ — and we often use Adobe Acrobat Pro to combine multiple charts, installation diagrams, and product images into one PDF.The problem is, even after optimizing images before import, the final PDF sometimes ends up being over 50 MB. I’ve tried:“Save as Optimized PDF”Using Reduce File Size under ToolsChanging image downsampling to 150 dpiBut the results aren’t always consistent.Could anyone recommend best compression settings or workflows for PDFs that contain lots of visuals but need to stay under 20 MB? I’d also love to know if Acrobat handles embedded vector graphics differently from JPEG/PNG images. Thanks for your help!— Hamza
