Hi Everyone,  "Bottle to the Sea" we work on a "big" project of a pdf form with significant javascript.  the template and all fields are 'locked', we have got the document translated in multiple languages. We continued to develop the code in parallel to the translations happening.  The Challenge we face is to "copy" the code from one document to all the different version in different languages. We had hoped that simply opening "all Javascrip Strings" in a text editor and pasting the final version of the code would allow us htat final update. Unfortunately seems that Acrobat massively struggles with this approach (code actually does not copy properly) Any idea or advice ? 

I just paid for the subscription for AI, but everytime I try to use it, a popup asking me to signup again appears.  This is frustrating.

Looking to have a form that can populate when I enter one rate. I need a javascript that seems relativley easy. When I enter a rate in "Box A" I would like "Box B" to formulate, however I would like a price range to be added. Example:"Box A"- (Price for snow removal) Rate can be anywhere from $40-50 to calculate "Box B" (salting rate) which would be $30 for the range of $40-50.00  Any help is appreciated!!!  

I've tried:1a) uninstalling   1b) reinstalling (and I get : manual installation required) then this message  again when i try to use "save as other" in menu.  This happens from both the browsers (google crome & firefox) 2) restarting the computer and trying  (1) again.  same message. 3) restarting the computer, trying using the cleaning and the repair. Same Message 4) checking for update....all up to date....   Same Message 5) uninstall using the uninstaller.... restarting the desktop, reinstalling .....  Same message.. 6)  internet is good any advice!? 

I was cleaning my cloud in my ipad, and I had 2 documents. I wanted to deleted the old one to keep the most recent one and I deleted it. I went to adobe website, on my files, Delete Files, but there is nothing there :(... How can I find this deleted file? It says it's supposed to stay on the trash for 30 days. Thank you.

Hi everyone, I’m facing an issue with Adobe Acrobat while trying to digitally sign a PDF. The “Fill & Sign” tool opens fine, but the option to add my digital signature is greyed out. This happens even on documents that are not password-protected or restricted. I already tried checking the document properties, enabling permissions, and even creating a new digital ID, but the problem remains. I need to send signed PDFs to clients, and not being able to add a signature is becoming a big problem. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it related to document security settings, or something to do with Acrobat’s configuration? Any suggestions for reliable fixes would be appreciated. Thanks! 

I used to be able to press my function key [F4] and get the page thumbnails to display. This was, of course, functioning just fine prior to all of Adobe's updates regarding its AI indoctrination campaign--not a fan, can you tell? Now when I press [F4] I get the "Ask AI Assistant" prompt. I have gone into my preferences and swtiched off the generated AI functionality--that hasn't helped at all. Hopefully someone can shed light on what the (new?) keyboard command is to toggle on-and-off my PDF document's page thumbnails? FYI, I work at an accounting firm, so 'collaboration' is not a saught after feature nor helpful when we prepare corporate tax returns. All I want right now is for my [F4] button to toggle page thumbnail display. ----------On a side note, it's been awhile since I've been on the Adobe user fourms. Hello,In Acrobat Pro I have created a signature, that is displayed in the signature tab.I don't succeed to display several signatures in the signature tab. How to do it (ie : how to create another signature and display it in the signature tab) ?Actually, inside acrobat pro or on the site acrobat.adobe.com, I see that I can have only one signature. How to have more than one signature ?Because, according to the document I have to sign, I have a different signature to apply.

Hello! I work for a monthly magazine. Last month, we were able to share PDFs online in Acrobat, invite writers and proofers to said PDFs, and have everyone commenting on/editing in the same PDF. Suddenly, this month, it seems that anyone who doesn't have a paid Adobe account can't access the PDFs. On my end, it looks like they're shared on the file (they've been invited, and the permissions say they can comment), but on their ends, they can't comment or see other comments. Did something change? We don't have the option of providing all of our freelance writers and proofers with Adobe subscriptions. Halp? Not sure if this is at all related -- yesterday, I was unable to access ANY of my PDFs, like, from EVER until about 5 or 6 p.m. This made for a very stressful press day where a bunch of people had to redo work they'd done over the weekend. Not sure what happened yesterday (but interested to learn if anyone knows).

When editing files, persons in my organization have been using the following workflow:Open the PDF, typically via whatever method is selected as default Overlay text onto the PDFSelect "print" and "Microsoft print to PDF"Select the file from the explorerPrint to fileAccept The expected result is identical to the save operation in theory, but instead deletes the file from its shared drive.  I have advised users to use the "save as" function, but print should not be destructive. Please advise.

May I have some help please?I use OCR to allow me to highlight and mark up text of scanned or prepared PDFs. Mostly these are unencrypted academic documents. I find that Acrobat Pro DC often does not OCR text when I click Edit. Instead it leaves the scanned blocks as images denoted in the upper left hand corner by the landscape icon and pop up text that says "This is an image". Is DC capable of OCRing these images? If so, how do I force the application to OCR?Thanks very much

Hi all,We us PDF files at work, we make an order in Exact and make it a PDF. When I look at the lay-out in Exact it is all ok. When I print the whole lay-out is almost 1 cm to the right. So... I don't have all things on paper.What can I do to change this? It is on all computers, not only on mine!Thanks!Daisy 

Hallo zusammen, ich muss recht häufig in Adobe Acrobat 2024 (Classic) mit digitaler ID PDF-Dateien signieren und ärgere mich über die Fülle der unnötigen Dialogfelder, die durch immer die gleichen Klick-Aktionen meine Zeit stehlen. 1. Ich habe nur 1 digitale ID konfiguriert und diese als Standard gesetzt. Kann ich die Anzeige der Dialogfelder zur Auswahl und Gestaltung der digitalen ID deaktivieren, d.h. die Standardwerte einfach ohne ständige Abfrage verwenden? (Nutzerunfreundlicherweise kann man nicht mal auf Enter drücken, man muss die Maus zum Klicken auf den Knopf benutzen) 2. Nach der Auswahl der Signatur fragt ein dritter "Speichern unter" Dialog immer ab, ob man die Datei wirklich überschreiben möchte. Ja, das möchte ich immer und nicht jedes Mal danach gefragt werden. Gibt es eine Option, dass beim Signieren einfach die vorhandene Datei genutzt und überschrieben wird, ohne jedes Mal nachzufragen? Falls dies alles technisch nicht gehen sollte, würde mich interess

Tested new AI Assistant with some 2-3 pages US English PDFs. Intentionaly added some typos and grammar errors. It always say something like "Based on the provided text, there are no apparent spelling errors in the document." If ask it to check again, somtimes it catches few typos but not all. In my opinion it is something basic that AI Assistant should be able to do.

Pfeil bzw. Hand Symbol HalloEine Benutzerin bei uns im Unternehmen hat beim öffnen des Acrobat Readers jedesw mal das Hand Symbol (für Schwenken) in der Auswahl auf der linken Seite . Sie benötigt jedoch das Pfeil Symbol (Auswählen). Ich habe die Einstellungen mit meinem Acrobat verglichen und wir haben die Einstellungen angepasst. Dennoch erscheint bei ihr jedes mal die Hand, währenddessen bei mir der Pfeil erscheint Gibt es irgendeine Idee wie wir diese Einstellung so ändern können dass der Pfeil erscheint wenn das Dokument geöffnet wird? Es ist scheinbar egal ob ich das Komumnet mit Pfeil oder mit Hand speichere. Es öffnet in meinem Fall immer mit dem Pfeil Symbol. 

Windows machines seem fine printing PDF portfolios. The problem started only after a MacOS update + using Acrobat's Portfolio function. The application will only print the first PDF of the job and the remaining PDF's will fail. This points to a compatibility bug between the new MacOS version and the Acrobat build you're using. Adobe’s Mac software sometimes lags behind OS updates (especially big MacOS releases like Sonoma or Ventura), and PDF Portfolios are a known weak point—they rely on legacy tech that doesn’t always play nice after major system changes. Specifically: Acrobat may fail to process multiple print jobs from the portfolio because of: Changes in how MacOS handles print spoolers, Security sandboxing of files inside a container (Portfolio), Or broken scripting bridges between Acrobat and MacOS printers. Steps to reproduce (Portfolio > Print All > fails after first doc).

HiI have been handwriting annotations in PDFs with Acrobat Pro DC for a year and it worked fine, almost as well as on paper. I did not have to select the Comment/Draw mode. I could handwrite with the pen directly with the Hand Tool selected.About one month ago, it all changed. Since then, I cannot handwrite with the pen directly in the Hand Tool mode. And in the Comment/Draw mode, the handwriting is really bad: every letter is smoothened and deformed, and small letters are often replaced by a dot. I should add that I work on Microsoft Surface Book 2 with a very high resolution touch screen (2160 x 3240). I have tried check for updates and repair installation, but it did not help.  I also bought a second Microsoft surface pen, but it was still the same. Could someone help please?

I am trying to split a pdf if 2 pages into 2 separate pages. I have the 2 pages on my screen but do not know what to do next. 

He creado unos sellos personalizados para acrobat. Antes cuando daba al botón "paleta de sellos" se me abría una ventana con las imágenes de todos los sellos disponibles. Ahora el botón no abre nada. Puedo seleccionar los sellos desde el botón "sello" pero la ventana que se abría antes desde la paleta era más rápida e intuitiva. ¿Como puedo recuperarlo? Muchas gracias

I travel a lot and like to post images across sites, and for clients when required. My usual process is that raw images are edited and saved as JPGs in a subfolder and I put these within the original date folder.When I return home, I export these relevant date folders as a catalogue (where I make sure to include the JPG subfolders) and then import them to my desktop. These tend to get grouped together (not ideal) and then my JPG images no longer appear after this. It's very confusing as this is the only format I use at this stage in the process. Anything afterwards I dabble in PNG, SVG or WebP. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Hi Adobe community,   I'm using Acrobat 10 Pro and Acrobat DC reader in my system, working fine a long day. Suddenly those applications have an error occurred, Error is {All the comments are merging as a single paragraph} Note: I tried to reinstalled the both application, deleted into the program files folder of Adobe, tried slightly registry editor; but that issues wasn't resolved. Let me know the permanent solution of this issue.   FYR, find the below attached snapshot for installed software versions and OS version.   Kindly review and let us know the solution.   Best regards, Prakash S   

I have had contuing issues with this over time (a year or more). Doesn't matter how many times I reset and restart, it will not retain my Units, always reverts to Inches (not useful in a matric world!); and will not get rid of all the AI crap over the screen - reducing my actual usable workspace.The AI issue is becoming more of the issue now, as it restricts my productivity. I have reinstalled and updated numerous times - can I just get it fixed! Please!

I have been trying to view a file from the irs page for their document. I have installed the Acrobat reading form from Adobe, but still getting this message: "The document you are trying to load requires Adobe Reader 8 or higher. You may not have the Adobe Reader installed, or your viewing environment may not be properly configured to use Adobe Reader." Can anyone help?
