I've created a form with several areas where calculations are carried out. We recently updated to 25.001.20937 and we have the acrobat pro licens however when its installed i reviewd the tools and it looks like the option to request e-signature is no longer there, Ive tried removing the app , reintalling through exe, the microsoft store and the adobe creative cloud app and still seeing the same issue

I am looking for a date picked from a date field to be transposed into a text box, but in a different format and preferably in different boxes. Date Field -saledate: 11/19/2025 Text boxes-text1: Novtext2: 19text3: 25 Is this possible?

I bought a copy of Acrobat 7 and used it for some time, then I didn't use it for a while, I got a new computer and wanted to install it and use it again. It installed fine, but would not activate as the activation server was not found. Will someone please tell me how to activate it so I can use it? How do I load my perpetual version of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC on a new replacement computer? 

It's been around 10 to 15 days now that more and more bugs suddenly have shown up when using Acrobat: different kinds of freezes/reaction delays and outright malfunctions (inserting comments into pdf-Files: exact location cannot be selected any more; selecting color for typing/adding content is blocked or e.g. showing blue when actually red was selected). My latest "delightful" happend just now: typing in comment, cursor is moving, letters are invisible!). My mental health is fine but I think Acrobat is trying to drive me crazy.

Im having issues when using adobe to print i only want to print one copy of file that is multiple pages but for some reason it will set 3 everytime. What ive noticed is that when using menu>print it gives me 3 copies but if i hit the print icon on the right of the screen it will default it to one copy. To fix this issues when the print menu comes up i would go to printing prefernces and set the "number of copies" option to 1 instead of 3. It would save for that file but if I went another file and went back to printer prefernces would set it back to 3 for a different document. I cant seem to figuer out whats causing it to set back to 3 in adobe when i chose a different file to print out. This does not happen if dont use adobe to print.

In the past, I've created Acrobat pdfs with embedded sound files which also worked in Reader. After reading the instructions several times, I can embed a sound file which will play once and then not again. In addition, Acrobat tells me over and over that multi-media and 3D content are disabled even after I use the trust this document.I tested this on my old files and sure enough they no longer work.And Acrobat Reader, when opened, will show the link to the sound file. When I click on it, Reader closes.Does this issue make sense to anyone?

I'm trying to create a document that allows the user to click and fill in checkboxes, and also be able to use the "fill in form fields" toolbar option to click and add text throughout the document wherever they want.  Once the document is prepared as a form and checkboxes are added, the "fill in form fields" button disappears.  Is it possible to create a form with checkboxes that can be clicked into, and still be able to click to add text throughout the form? If not, what do you recommend? i know i could add a text field into the form, but i want the users to be able to click wherever they'd like to add comments that remain visible on the page. this form has to be easy to use for people that it will be sent to. thanks so much.

In Acrobat, the Guided action function seems to have a bug.  This is for both items created in and imported from any version of Acrobat.  This effects both Mac and Windows it seems, at least in all of my testing.Has anyone been able to get the Instructions 'Pause' option to work?  It creates the popup, but unlike the Action Wizard, the Button doesn't work.  The same script works on Action Wizard but not in Guided action.  This seems to also effect Actions made in WITH the new version, as it still has the option to select pause when providing instructions to the user.Am I going crazy? Or has anyone else ground a work-around for this?

Hello there! After an update to Acrobat DC, I am having issues with viewing PDFs. The issue is only with Acrobat DC, no other apps are affected. And it happens both on my laptop and monitor screens They appear with a yellow tint, and the text is not clear – it is usually easier to view.I can make the background white by selecting Preferences-Accessibility-Use Windows Color Scheme (as I had seen in another thread), but images, colours, and font is still not correct – the yellow haze still remains, and text is hard to readI have tried editing options in Print Production and “Output Preview”, although this doesn’t do anything. And I have checked the graphics card options, and the resolution on my screens, but these are as they should be.  The symbols also appear to be double-lined or bolded in the UI: I have uninstalled, removed all preferences, deleted all Acrobat DC files, then re-installed, but the issue still persists. Here are my PreferencesBut no matter

I need to make the date field read only, I've tried this code this.getField("Datec").readonly = true; but doesn't work. Could I please get any idea? Also I need to copy the date field data into a text field or copy the date field data in another Date field. Any suggestion?  Thank you

Updated IOS to Tahoe 26.1, show icon preview selected in view options - but pdf thumbnail icons only show in Finder when view options set to large icons. I don't want this. I want small icons, but would like to see the PDF thumbnails. I have tried removing adobe and reinstalling, trialling a different user, setting preview as th default (not adobe), rmoved thumbnail cache, etc etc. Nothing seems to work. Please assist. 

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Acrobat Professional for my Mac several times (per Adobe support advice). My license has only ever been used on this same Mac. It assumed my license was invalid, gave me a free trial for a bit, and now I can not do anything with the software.

Hello.I have been trying to find a way to delete the history of my typed text inside the Fill in form field from previous actions, and i cannot seem to find any option regarding this.I regularly type text inside a PDF using Fill in form fields for text.My problem is that all the text i previously typed inside other past PDF's was saved somewhere.And whenever i want to type something new, my adobe pdf freezez until he loads my previous typed text, and it looks like thisAfter some time it manages to load some of the text i inserted in the past, but i cannot delete them manually, as a was doing from time to time, because the boxes are out of cluster, or out of reach to see the x buttonNormally, it would look like thisAnd i would manually click the x button located at the right end of my previously typed text.How do i delete all this inserted text that was used in the past, so i can work smooth with this Adobe PDF ?I tryed using the solutions i found about fill in forms, but they only talk

I was looking in the event log after Acrobat crashed and found this. Adobe trying to uninstall itself but it doesnt have the correct permissions. I have not initiated any uninstall commands. I saw this a couple times in the same day. I checked for updates, repair installed. Why is adobe doing this? What is kicking this off? Forgive the quality of the screenshot, it was taken from a remote session.

I feel like a broken record, or for you Gen Zers, a corrupt MP4 file.   I launched Acrobat today to check accessibility on a PDF, and I get blasted with your New Features, AI features, like Adding Fake Images.    Yet nothing on streamlining the accessibility fixes in Acrobat. PDF's are an industry standard, we are now required to make EVERY PDF accessible (work for state Govt.). I spend hours upon hours cleaning PDF's to make the accessible, table headers, rows, columns, H1, H2, alt text, div tags, no tags, image tags...... I beg you Adobe, please focus on using AI to make things better for those who NEED to have these accessible... Please... No more 8 fingered people created using AI.

Have tried it multiple times with many different documents.

Having a issue when I try to print a drawing to pdf in Creo (Cad) software Adobe names the file name is "Creo Parametric - ?456-001-001-B470-00001" The ? is some sort of symbol and the main issue I have is the added extra 001 to the file name and this naming shows excatly the same in Title of the Document Properties . Why is it adding the extra numbers? Can I change some settings to just use the doumnet name which really is just 456-001-001-B470-00. 

I have used my Creative Suite, including Acrobat X Pro, for two years on my laptop without any problems. Today it won´t start up.  I have used the repair function in Programs. Still the same result.I have of course also checked that my license is still valid, which it is (and other apps in the suite work). Any ideas how I get this to work again?

I started my subscription to Acrobat Pro in April 2025 and have been paying for the subscription (R438.15) and i get the invoices via email, but when i log into my profile to view all invoices it says i do not have an active plan? How can i get this resolved?
