Amal, an Adobe Employee has been answering that this is a feature of Select Tool of Adobe Pro/Reader. HiIn my converted file I can click on the endnote number in the main text and it does take me to the endnote at the end of the document. However, the reverse does not work - when I single or doube click on the endnote number at the end of the file it doesnt take me back to the text. A reader of the pdf file would benefit from two way mapping and I'm sure Adobe knows that and it can be achieved. I just don't know how.  Note: I am talking about simple MS Word endnotes not those from EndNote.Ilan

This shows up when opening Word on my According to another discussion here i have to delete the PDFMaker/Library/Application Support/Adobe/ MACPDFM/MacPDFM.framework/Versions/A/MacPDFM. 1. Go one folder level up and click on the PowerPoint folder (Group Containers > UBF8346G9.Office > User Content > Startup >PowerPoint)2. Drag the file SaveAsAdobePDF.ppam to the Trash the problem is the SaveAsAdobePDF.ppam doesnt show up

When I select specific text in a pdf to be redacted and then hit "apply", nearly all of the text disappears and the word "dummylink" is on every page in blue. I have tried the redaction at least 7 times and get the same result. I also tried saving the document as an optimized pdf, but nothing helps. 

Hello, friends. My employer has downsized its Adobe licenses and I no longer have access to InDesign. So HELP! InDesign was always my workaround when trying to put typographer's quotes into a PDF. I've looked everywhere I can think of for a way to use "typogrpaher's" quotation marks, also known as "smart" or "curly" quotes, in the PDF Text Box or Edit PDF tool.   Thanks!Steve

Adding a certificate (digital signature) to a fillable PDF form does not provide a check box to lock the document after signing it. On the fillable form I select the "sign" fillable box and the window pops up to add a signature, which does not give the check box to lock the form.On the other hand, on a non-fillable form, when selecting "Certificates" and then dragging a custom box after clicking "Digitally Sign", a check box is provided.I need to know how to lock a fillable form after putting a digital signature on it.I've added two pictures to show the difference between boxes.I'm on version 2025.001.20577 using Adobe Acrobat (64-bit)

My hate-hate relationship with Acrobat continues. Imagine you have a PDF that is really long, and there's one page that is blank, and you need to add a fillable field so you can send it out and people that get it can input text. I can't/don't want to scan the doc to create form fields because a) is a giant PDF and only 10 pages need for fields b) those pages are blank so it wouldn't find anything to make a form filed out of. I tried adding a text box but a) doesn't work as advertised b) you can't define the size, the text box shrinks down to the amount of text is in it. I need to be visually obvious, have a shape. I could do it by going in to InDesign, creating a blank page with a fillable form, exporting as a single page PDF then inserting into this long PDF. But I would lose the page numbers, and why would I have to do this?  So all I need to do is add a large fillable field that I can do in PDF. Google hasn't helped much. Man does anyone else hate

As per title Mac OS 10.15.3 (latest version)Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2020.006.20034 (latest version) The software freezes a few seconds after it opens. It happens with any and all PDF files and even happens if I open the application without a file. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software via the Creative Cloud app and it has made no different. The problem still occurs. Any ideas/suggestions?

Hello, I am writing to report a problem I recently encountered with Acrobat on Windows 11.Since the latest Windows 11 updates, Print production tools has not been working.I think I have found the source of the problem; at least I have solved it for myself, so while waiting for a potential patch, this may help others.For me, it was related to access rights to the Config.Msi folder, which contains the RBF files used by Acrobat. Windows was preventing access to this folder. I simply restored administrator rights to this folder and now it works again.I think the Windows update is trying to better protect users, but it conflicts with Acrobat when you try to switch to Print Production Tools mode.Is this a problem that will be patched?Thanks

Hey.  In my job I'm often tasked with redacting large documents.  When redacting these, it's often easier to split them into seperate smaller documents.  For example, if I have a 500 page document I'll split it between 180 pages and work on each document seperately. The same names, contact numbers etc. often pop up across all documents, so any information highlighted for redaction in "Part 1" of the split file (not yet applied) will need to also be redacted in Part 2 and Part 3.  Is there a way to copy over the highlighted for redaction bits from Part 1 to Part 2 and Part 3?  At the moment if I redact "John Smith" in Part 1, I then have to manually input to redact "John Smith" in Part 2 and Part 3.   Thanks!

Hello, I just reinstalled the CC suite after reinstalling Windows 11 Pro Workstation. When I launched Acrobat Pro, the application asked me if I wanted to automatically open PDF files downloaded from Chrome. I accepted. Since then, there has been a bug every time I open the application. I don't know how to describe it in words, so I recorded my screen. HiI used to be able to use the Microsoft Print to PDF feature in Adobe Acrobat Pro (paid account) but it has now disappeared from the print drop down menu.I've tried repairing the program but it's still not there.Any thoughts?Many thanks. Samantha 

Hi Acrobat users, I have modified an existing form to meet a client's request. To add visual impact, I want to conditionally format the fill colour of the Action drop-down list and the adjoining text field. I desire to use custom RGB codes for readability purposes. A sample report is attached. I am facing the following problems:The colour of the drop-down field does not change when a selection is made.The selection of an item from the drop-down list is not triggering the conditional formatting for the Comments text field.I am not sure of the correct format when specifying custom RGB colours. 2 different formats in the code to indicate the different formats that have been attempted. Below is my JavaScript code for the drop-down list.if (event.value==" ") event.target.fillColor = color.transparent; else if (event.value=="Non-compliant") event.target.fillColor = [“RGB”, 0, 0.41, 0.38]; else if (event.value=="Recommendation") event.target.fillColor = [“RGB”, 0, 0.7, 0.28];

Bonjour, Lorsque je suis dans le mode "Préparer un formulaire" sur Acrobat et que j'ajoute un champ de signature ou de date, je ne peux ensuite pas accéder aux options spécifiques de ces champs. I have a small company about 15 users divided into a couple of departments with different networking access needs. They each have Adobe Acrobat version XI installed on a Windows 7 Platform. Each user has a set of mapped drives that correspond to their department. The Disk mappings are all directed to the main shared Network Attached Storage (NAS) device. At any time there can be a number of PDF files open and being worked in. The same PDF is usually not opened at the same time from two different locations. The issue is that two users who do a large amount of the work, IE. Scanning documents and adding them to documents that have been previously created, are reporting the same issue. The issue is when they have the PDF document opened and they are adding new content. Once the new content is added they go to save the document and then receive the f

I’ve been using Adobe Acrobat to export PDFs to Word, but in some cases (especially documents with tables or multiple columns), the formatting ends up completely off. Does anyone here have recommendations for online tools that handle layout better? I've tried this PDF to word  converter, which is good but doesn't support batch processing. I’m open to trying other free tools if they work reliably. Thanks in advance!
