So when i start my adobe acrobat reader all of the tabs load up from previous session and i have no idea when it is done so when i click print to a certain document it says it cannot open a document. it says that several times and then freezes and crashes. Is there any way to make it so when i go print the document that the features which returns the documents from previous session paueses and then resumes when i am done? Thanks in advance!

I have a lot of proposals.  It says the files are to big to diwnload all at once, so I have been downloading them 10-20 at a time.  But they also need to be adjusted sometimes, it is just a lot of steps without the sync option.  

Can anyone tell me how to create PDF 'Certificates of Attendance' for every person who attended an event using Adobe Acrobat Pro?  Each certificate needs to bear the name of the person so will be using variable data from an excel workbook as txt file.  I THEN need to email each person their own certificate. I was hoping there was a merge function that would allow me to create the personalised certificates and then send the certificate to each person in one or two actions. Is this possible?  I tried using a tutorial which provided java script however I’m unable to get the script from the tutorial - this could be to do with the security I have on my company device.  Grateful for any help.

Hi there,There are multiple colleagues in my workplace and they have this same issue.They cannot open PDF attachments properly.They receive emails with PDF attachments from multiple sources. Some of the PDF attachments do not open properly. They just open partially for 1 sec and then close.Even if we download and try to open in in Acrobat locally, it is still the same.We have 1. repaired Acrobat2. reinstalled Acrobat.No luck.If we send this email to someone else, someone else can open the PDF attachment without any problem.Also, the affected users can open the downloaded PDF or the attachment itself on MS Egde.So it is likely that there is an issue with the current version of Adobe Acrobat.The version is Adobe Acrobat (64-bit) (25.001.21151).It is installed on Windows 11 23H2.Some are not affected by this.We have already tried changing settings on Acrobat (such as Security, protected view etc).Settings have been modified on Outlook (however it appears to be the issue of Acrobat).Could

My company has several users who are receiving the below error when opening certain .pdf files with Acrobat. The odd part is, this only happens when they are not working in the office. When working remotely, on or off the VPN. 

Once I create the PDF, I find that the links generated are off by 1 page (even though the page number is correct in the Table of Contents). Of course, having the link go to an incorrect page is of little help when I have to re-set the links manually. Thanks.

One PDF gives "Cannot find or create the font 'Arial,Bold'.... when opened, and the formatting is gone and nothing is on the PDF word wise. Opening the PDF in Edge works fine. Opening the PDF yesterday was fine. Another employee was able to open the same PDF (on a shared drive) just fine and had no errors.I restarted the computer, repaired Adobe, ensured the font was installed on the computer, uninstalled Adobe Acrobat - restarted again - and then installed it fully - and restarted yet again - and it still gives this error for the PDF.I opened the PDF in Edge and it was fine, then printed as PDF again (renaming the file), but the error shows on the new PDF as well.Other PDFs appear fine. The original PDF opens fine, so I had the user duplicate the work and save it and THAT PDF opens fine.Is there any known fixed? Its not a work stopper and we found we can work around it since another staff can open it, or the user can open via Edge, but the concern is this continually happening on the

Need to change the Adobe Acrobat Pro PDF tools panel from left to right. When I opened a project I've been working on for weeks the tools panel was now on the left. I had it on the right and none of the "fixes" suggested change anything. I need this for work.

Hello, I'm creating a GPM sheet for pool applications and need assistance with my final task. I've created a dropdown list that toggles the visibility of 3 types of sheers. My goal is whenever the user inputs the LF (Sheer1LF), the GPM (Sheer1GPM) updates with the number associated with it in the "SheerGPMScript". I believe I have to use valueAsString, but I'm not too great at applying it. Here is the sheet for anyone who wants to take a crack at it.

When auto-tagging a document with the auto-tag document function it appears to tag certain formatting elements in a different font from the original document. I currently have a document fully in the Aptos font family but when auto tagging it and then checking the embedded fonts somehow Times New Roman appears as an “unembedded” font causing it to flag as an error in CommonLook. This is an issue. First screen shot is before auto-tag, second screenshot with the Times New Roman is after auto-tag. Where is this coming from?

I need to change a PDF to Word 

Hello, On a new Windows 11 laptop, I have installed Acrobat and when I start it, after some sec (5-10) a blank popup windows appeared and acrobat freezed. No possibility to close it, just possibility to kill it via the process manager tool. I updated it to version 2025.001.21233 64 bits without success. Behind the blank popup you can see the Acrobat view, confirming that the Blank popup is an acrobat popup. Of course, I tried to repair / Uninstall / Resinstall acrobat without success. Who face similar issue and what was done to unblock the situation ? Tks for your support. 

I am attempting to write on a simple pdf using a wacom tablet and my adobe acrobat program which I pay hundreds of dollars a year for. I just want to be able to write overtop of student lab report submissions in my handwriting and save myself time. I have gone through online forums, I have chosen the free draw pen, I have selected the pin tool to hold it in place, I have gone into preferences to set it to always recognize the pen, I have set it so that it should not have any pop up selections for the selection boxes…. nothing has worked. Every time I try to write it gets stuck and decides to select the first letter I write and makes it impossible to actually handwrite over the file. Why am I spending over an hour on this very basic function? What am I missing? 

Hello, I am trying to use the automatic page numbering for my adobe PDF document but it keeps counting the hidden templates. There are 5 total templates, 1 being the main template and the other 4 are hidden that are spawned when a button is clicked on the main template. The page number is showing as ‘Page 1 of 5’ on the main template although the others are hidden. How can I stop Adobe from counting those hidden templates? Or is there a workaround I can do? Thank you!

I am using Acrobat Standard 2020 to convert/combine multiple html files into a pdf. These html files contain both text and images. The problem is that the resulting pdf has the images split on two pages, like this:How to fix this?My first question is if Acrobat is reading the css file? Or it completely ignores the css file?Second question is, if it is reading also the css file what should I change in the css file?Inside the css there are blocks like this.section_img {text-align: center;padding-top: .25em;margin-bottom: 0em;page-break-after:always;}I tried also princexml to convert but it has a similar problem (while it does not split images on two pages, it truncates them)

Does anyone have any insight as to why my esignature form keeps changing? All users are on the latest version of Adobe Acrobat but the e-signature form is different for different people and we cannot understand why.   We have just written procedural documents and the e-signature is different. One version is looks like this which is what they all want: For others it looks like this which is not what we want: Why is there a difference? Thanks Kevin

I have a drop down menu of options where the background colour changes based on the choice picked. Created PDF fillable forms for new hires and been using for years. All the sudden when sending the forms as "Request e-signature" the recipients fill out the forms and receive the below message which redirects them and makes them completely redo the form. "Something went wrong. To proceed with completing this agreement, we will redirect you to our classic experience, which will clear any signatures and initials you entered in this agreement." Have contacted support twice with no help. We use the forms daily, so very important that we get it working correctly or we'll have to cancel our subscription and try to find another app that allows us to successfully create forms and send for signatures.

Every time I download the Acrobat PDF viewer x32 bit for my SnapDragon Windows Surface 7 laptop, the program forces me to login and sign up for Pro to use it. I don’t need Pro. And when I login that isn’t enough to satisfy the requirement of the program and it forces me through to purchase Pro and if i close out then the whole program shuts down with it.I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program a number of times and I still cannot simply use the free version it seems. Can anyone provide any insight or direction to another download link?

I created an interactive PDF in InDesign. The overall tab order is correct and flows properly between fields.However, when tabbing into a radio button group when the pdf is opened in Acrobat, focus lands on the first radio button that was created instead of the first option in the group. This makes the form feel sloppy and inconsistent.I have already tried reordering the fields in Acrobat under Edit → Prepare Form → Fields, but that did not change the behavior.It appears Acrobat is prioritizing widget creation order inside the radio group rather than the document tab order.Is there a way to control which radio button in a group receives focus first when tabbing into the group?Thank you for your help!
