I work with a 3rd party application that generates PDF files by a given template. I noticed that the produced PDF files are not read correctly in Adobe Acrobat/Reader when the ‘new’ layout is applied. When using the ‘old’ layout, the Read-Out-Loud reads the document as expected.The app settings are unchanged.The PDF file is tagged, and PAC (PDF Accessibility Tool) reports the structure as valid. Acrobat also shows the structure, ordered according the expected reading order:  I’m attaching a very simple PDF file that demonstrates the issue. I’ve encountered system crash/error when logging into Adobe Acrobat Home, immediate error message “The page is having a problem. Try coming back to it later. You could also: Open a new tab or Refresh this page”Edge Error Code: “STATUS_ILLEGAL_INSTRUCTION” Open in new tab or refresh page does not work at all.Not working even cleared browsing history as well as all cookies. Not working in InPrivate too.This has been lasting for a whole week since last Friday.Seeking for assistances, thank you.

When I try to open some larger pdfs, Acrobat says it has timed out and says open in what’sapp. I don’t even have what’sapp on my computer.  This has never happened to me. I attached the image of the error message below. 

bonjour à tous, depuis plusieurs jours, acrobat plante ou se bloque lorsque j'ouvre un document, que ce soit avec un fichier lourd ou leger, j'arrive à faire circuler les pages mais ça bug en marche arriere, ca plante ou se bloque souvent. j'ai pourtant la derniere version.. étrange ..  aussi, il arrive que lorsque ça bug la fenetre windows prenne l'apparence de l'ancienne version de Windows vista ! ..

I created a pdf using the perl library PDF::API2. It adds text to a pdf file in the bottom left. When I open the pdf in the browser (Chrome/Edge) or even PDF24, the text is shown. But when I open the pdf in Acrobat Reader, it isn’t shown. Please help me try to explain this

HOW DO I STOP THE WINDOW FROM RESIZING EVERY TIME A PDF IS OPENED FOR MAC ACROBAT PRO DC

I have used Acrobat on my Macbook Pro for 14 years.I recently changed my subscription to Teams and I have lost the ability to save to the cloud directly.I only can save to my Mac.I deleted and reinstalled Acrobat and problem persists.Why?

I have dealth with Adobe since the 1980s.  Great Company.  But I am retired now I don't keep up with the nuisances of technology.  So I opened a form I greated for a Yatch Club like I have done for the last 10 years. And behold.  The toolbar is nothing, like chinese icons on the right and left.  I just want to change a format of text without going through a videos or entering college again.  You have made it so hard and un-intuivative that it unfuctional to me.  I spent 3 hours trying to figures out why everything changed.  This is an old Microsoft trick, change the menu and everyone will think everything is new.  Sorry guys.  Microsoft Word still basically works the same.  I will use them and save as a pdf.  You really dissapointed me on this one.  I just don't understand anymore.  But I am old so I apolgize, Adobe get your act together (KISS).

Hi community,  My Latex document contains formulas, and these seem to be the source of errors during autotagging. This might be a bug in Acrobat. Perhaps someone here has a solution for me.  I have attached a minimal example, both in form of the source document and as the result. The result has1) Characters missing 2) Randomly added big opening brackets To replicate: open the input PDF, start the 'autotag' feature. The result gets apparent only after scrolling away and back. However, the errors get saved with the file. The added brackets are not 'editable' and I have not found a way to remove them.  Any help is appreciated! 

I’ve just upgraded from Acrobat Pro 2020 (perpetual licence) to the 3-year 2024/Classic track equivalent on Windows 11. One of my primary uses for Acrobat is compiling portfolios of emails in Outlook 365. Previously in the 2020 version I could export the emails, then open the portfolio and make minor changes (set a horizontal/vertical window split view and add a “To” column to mimic an inbox).These functions are no longer available in Pro 2024/Classic. An entire right-click context/submenu is missing when the portfolio file is open.Screenshots below: 1) 2020, showing the availability of the “View” context menu to make changes to columns and the use of a vertical screen split and 2) 2024, showing the lack of this menu.The lack of functionality is appalling. I also attempted to contact support via the website chat and my query was terminated without ever speaking to anyone. I have a lead magnet pdf made in Acrobat with several hyperlinks. The pdf is sent through Flodesk, with a link to the pdf, but when opened on an Iphone the hyperlinks says “Safari can’t open the page since the address is invalid”. Is there another way to make the hyperlinks to make sure they work on all devices?

How do I fix table regularity when I can’t open/select one of my cells to edit? I have an irregular table. I was able to set the row span for the first of two cells that are merged across multiple spans, yet the second sell that needs the row span adjusted will not open the Cell properties (pictured below with an arrow pointing to the empty cell that is not listed as a TD or TH, yet it’s a TH in the accessibility tags tree).   

Hello, still a bit new to adobe and not really finding my answer.Im trying to just have 2 boxes, one of the left for “Yes”, the other on the right for “No”if the box on left is clicked, it would show pages 10-15, but if it is not clicked, it would delete those pages instead.

Acrobat 25.1Mac OS 26.3.1 (a) Just discovered droplets and they sound great, but every time I make one I get the same error. “Droplet is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash.” I’ve gone into Security and Privacy and allowed the app to open by entering my admin password, but then the very next time I try and use it, I get the same error message all over again. Is this a recurring problem or is there a setting I have wrong somewhere?

I am using Acrobat DC latest version for PDF compare.I just doing textual compare alone, no formatting compare. purely text only.  But while doing it shows the below error Below is the option i am selecting while doing Textual compare In the below report it shows space between the word “proponent”  but visually there is no space between that word in PDFit shows as error any one know why it shows. I also copied that content from the file and paste in finder it not show any space refer the below screen shot.  I also compare the same file in Acrobat 8 it not show this error.ThanksGanesh.R

I have 30 years of desktop calendars from my father’s estate.  These are “At-A-Glance” paper desktop bundles, with 2-days per page.  These are loose leaf, 3.5” x 6”. I want to scan them using Epson document scanner (high speed - not flatbed). The challenge is to combine each 2-page day into a single page of the PDF, ending with 1 master PDF file of the entire year.  This may require some script to reorganize the pages. Example - right-hand page of day 1 is the left-hand page of day 2.   This goes beyond a mere stitch function.  It’s stitching 2 pages together after the pages have been shuffled into the correct sequence. If I attempt to organize each page after scanning, then combine pages, I’ll most surely have a jumble.  I can accomplish this with camera scanning or flatbed, but this slows the process considerably. I hope someone has already found the solution.  Would greatly appreciate any info. Thank you. Doug

Hello,Product: Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020Version: Up to dateWhenever I go to edit a PDF the options under Format that it lists are all various forms of Z@Rxxxx.tmpI have to scroll all the way up to select a real font such as Arial. When typing with a tmp font it shows up as symbols. I have already tried updating to latest version, repairing installation.I have also tried to change the default font in the preferences menu but it did not do anything. I have also tried use local fonts but it also did not do anything. Any guidance is appreciated.

When I use the "Fill & Sign" feature to annotate a plain PDF that DOES NOT have preset fillable text fields/boxes (I’m not trying to fill in a field/text box), it no longer shows a dropdown of my previously typed text when I start typing (see first image below). It used to show previously typed text and I could just click on what I needed and it saved me so much time at work. I am running "Abode Acrobat (64-bit) (25.001.21288) which is the newest version as of March 24, 2026. I'm using Adobe on Windows 11 Enterprise on my work computer. This still works on my personal computer though (see second image below). I am running the same version of Adobe on both computers. My personal computer is using Windows 11 Home ver 25H2. I have tried several "fixes" for my work computer Adobe that I found in other Adobe Community Posts that did not work. I have repaired installation, checked updates, went to “Preferences”--> "Forms"-->”Auto-Complete” and the auto-complete box was already set

Before converting my Word document to a PDF I made sure everything Microsoft word flagged in the accessibility check was fixed. That included adding Alt Text to my images. Then I used "saved as" to save my document as a PDF and checked the box to include document structure tags for accessibility. When my document was converted to PDF and I ran the accessibility check, none of my images have the Alt Text that was added to the images in Word. Now Adobe want's me to re-add Alt Text for each image which creates duplicative work. How do I make the Alt Text from my word document come over when I convert it to a PDF?

How can you turn off these annoying pop-ups in Acrobat. Why did Adobe think this was a good idea? They are so distracting when I am working.

I can no longer drag pages from the Pages Thumbnail sidebar onto my desktop to make a new PDF of those pages. I haven't tried to do this since the last update came through... Hi, I'm trying to sign a PDF with an official certificate from the FNMT (the official certificate issuer in Spain). I can import it into Windows 10, validate it, and use it to sign in other applications without any problems, but when I try to sign it in Adobe Acrobat Pro, the option to use a certificate doesn't appear. I can use the personal certificates he created, but the certificates from the Windows certificate store don't appear. If I try to sign by setting up a new digital ID, I can select the certificate, enter the password, and add it.  But when I click the Next button, the "Sign with a digital ID" option appears again with the same two digital IDs as before, and nothing happens.I've tried all the solutions: disabling Protected View, reinstalling, unchecking revocation verification, switching from PKCS#7 to CAdES, etc., but nothing works. I've tried it in another version of Adobe Acrobat Pro and in Acrobat Reader with the same results, so I think it may

ARGH how do you turn off all the pop-up messages, since the last update I get all these pops ups I have removed the program reinstalled it, and searched for answers to no avail. If I turn off the settings/preferences messages and apply I come back and it is reset again allowing them. I think it's time to switch to Bluebeam!
