I'm working on a workflow that requires applying a certification signature with DocMDP P=1 ("No changes allowed") to a PDF, while also producing an LTV-enabled seal.ISO 32000-2 explicitly carves out DSS dictionary updates and document timestamp additions from the restrictions, meaning these should be permitted even under P=1. However, Acrobat has historically flagged such post-certification additions as invalidating the certification. A few questions:Is a fix on the roadmap and is there a target release? In the meantime, what does Adobe recommend for use cases that genuinely require both the highest certification level and embedding revocation info? I'd appreciate any official guidance, since the alternatives each involve trade-offs (CMS-only embedding doesn't cover the TSA chain and P=2 weakens the certification guarantee). Thanks.

After opening a document, clicking redact, and loading the entire original folder in to the redacting tool, specifiying what is to be redacted, I am getting a "bad parameter" error. I have successfully done this before so I was assuming it was a file issue. I unlocked all statements (werent even locked in the first place), checked for errors in file names, and tried again - still same issue. I am able to do a mass redaction for individual files, but I would like to complete an entire folder at once... Any tips?
This is a lie: I have given the program the permissions it requires and almost any time I try to open a PDF when the program is already running, I get this message. If I quit Acrobat and then open the file, it will usually open it (not every time but most of the time). I am attaching screenshots of my permissions on my Mac (MacBook Pro, 2023, Apple M2 Max, 64 gb RAM running Sequoia v15.5).Never had this problem before and this is a new computer (to me—just bought less than a month ago).
I'm trying to redact portions of a PDF document. I used the redact tool to select multiple areas within the pages. The tool successfully marks them, but when I try to complete the redactions by applying them, the 'Apply' function is greyed out. Not sure what I can do to allow the applying to happen. I am not working in documents that have an electronic signature, so that is not the issue.
Compré una notebook Samsung 4 y no funciona el Acrobat. Se pone todo negro y un cuadrado blanco.
If I am subscribing monthly to Creative Cloud Pro, which has more than tripled in price, in order to always have latest versions, why am I getting a message: Support Ending for Intel-based Apps This version of “Acrobat” will not open in a future release of macOS. Learn how to update to an Apple silicon version?
This was an option just last week… use it often.. I need to convert image files and combine pdfs.. but now those options are missing..
I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro version 26.1.21677 on Windows 11 64-bit.Recently, Acrobat started showing a white screen issue. The application launches normally and PDF files can be displayed briefly. However, after 1-2 seconds, the entire Acrobat window turns white and becomes unusable.Troubleshooting already performed: Uninstalled and reinstalled Acrobat. Reset Acrobat user profile folders. Restarted the computer. Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime is installed and up to date. Photoshop and other Adobe applications work normally. PDF files open correctly in Edge and Chrome. The issue occurs only in Acrobat. The application starts, menus and PDF files are briefly visible, and then the entire window turns white.I would appreciate any assistance in identifying the cause and resolving this issue.
There was recently a big update to Adobe and since that all the tabs (All tools, Edit, Convert, E-sign) are now completely blank. I need to be able to save documents as a certified copy for my job and that button is gone, I cant see that there is any other way to save it as certified when using the Menu > Save As button. I have checked for updates, I have deleted and re-created my digital ID and nothing is working.
Whenever I open up acrobat, toolbar shows fine. But as soon as I select an option in the toolbar, a white box covers 90% of the toolbar and I cannot see my tools.
After a document has been signed and saved as a certified copy by one user, some employees are getting this message at the top when they open the document themselves “The validity of the document certification is UNKNOWN. The author could not be verified.” whereas others in the company don’t get this and see the correct banner that says its a certified document. We all have the same licenses that are managed by our employer.
When I select the magnifying glass to search a pdf for text, the search text box does not allow me to type. Why is that? Is there another way to search for text?
How to change 8.5”x11” page to 11”X17”. Use pictures. I have this version of Adobe

As of a few days ago, after the first launch Acrobat works normally, but after the second launch the UI becomes larger. Nothing helps. Is it a bug in the latest version? (Windows 11, 4K resolution, 1 monitor).
We would like to update to the current supported version, 26.001.21529, but we need the full offline installer, not the web-based installer, because this server environment has restricted internet access and software deployments must be handled manually.
I am having an issue since the latest windows update and Adobe updates where opening up multiple pdf's take an extremly long time. The problem appears to get worse if the file is large and the more pdf' you have open th slower it gets as well. If you close adobe acrobat down and reopen the first file opens quickly. I have 32 GB of RAM on a 13 generation i7 processor so processing power is not the issue. I have also tried disabling the security and enhanced security as well as disabling the show online storage when opening files. I have also disabled the modern Acrobat interface.
All my settings in CC and acrobat desktop (mac) is in english language. It seems så fare that this is only happening on parts of Acrobats services… Anyone that knows what is wrong? Started yesterday, while i started making several links for review to a client. Some om them are not being possible to generate, asking med to type a name of the link, because the service does not get the indesign documents name automatically. Thanks in advance!
The plugin is basically an enterprise policy restriction to share files by users. The application that holds the PDF writes a boolean attribute to the file's XMP file. The plugin we create will read the XMP and based on the Boolean either allows or disables the access to create a copy of the file (Save as, export, print).More robust solution is underway but that will need time and we need a stop gap solution. So, we are going with a plugin that will be deployed by the IT to all client machines. The XMP file will be written by the application that stores or the PDF file with a Boolean attribute that will regulate if users can create a copy of not.In my plugin I need to read the XMP file and based on the value either allow or disable the option to create a copy. We are not worried about the usability here just that it needs to do the job anyway. This is a stop gap solution. We are good with all the code. Only question is how to enable our custom Adobe plugin? As we have not been able to
I have upgraded my Adobe subscription from Acrobat to Acrobat Pro specifically to make use of the measurement tool. However, when I go into work on a pdf the measurement tool is not available. I have double checked my subscription, done updates on and restarted my MacBook, sign out and then back in to Adobe, checked to ensure Acrobat is the default and nothing has worked. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I recenetly had a users laptop using a lot of disk space. I assumed this was either movies or music or other media taking up space. I discoverd the installer folder was filled with old .msi files from updates to the tune of 38GB. So I uninstalled Acrobat in full and the folder size fell by 8GB. I then used a script to delete unused files in that folder since it did not matter that I deleted them as Acrobat is now uninstalled. It got rid of 30GB of old unused .msi and other install files that were never needed by Acrobat. What is going on? All the other programs installed on the computer are using a total of 2.5GB of install files but Acrobat used 8GB plus 30GB that was never needed. How is this preventable to stop Acrobat conintuly filling up sapce on the computer.
I have upgraded my Adobe subscription from Acrobat to Acrobat pro, specifically to enable me to use the measurement tool. However, when I go into the app on my MacBook, it only offers me the use of the base level Acrobat. I have signed out, then back in again, done updates on my laptop, restarted my laptop, checked that my Mac is running the Acrobat app rather than the’Adobe Reader’, and nothing has worked. Any advice would be much appreciated.thanks 😊

I filled out some information for a client, emailed it to her and she dated the document. Once it was returned to me everything I typed and the date the client entered appears doubled. Can you help
