Last week I started to edit an image in Acrobat Pro and have opened the file today to finish the editing. It seems to be different now and wont allow me to edit the way I always have. I used to be able to highlight certain shapes, lines etc then delete them from the drawing. It is now trying to force me to use Adobe express and wont allow me to edit as normal. Is there a way I can stop this happening?

I have an issue when editing a block of Japanese text in Acrobat Pro. Basically, all the text format options work as they should; ranged left, centred, ranged right – however the 'justify' option does not do anything? I am working with horizontal Japanese text and everything works with English. I have tried other Japanese fonts, but the problem persists. Any thoughts for a possible fix would be greatly appreciated. 

We've been experiencing repeated timeouts when using Adobe Sign, both on the web and in the application. The error message displayed is:"Sorry, something went wrong."This error causes the document to reload and results in loss of progress, as changes are not saved. Are there any known fixes or recommended solutions to resolve this issue?

Hi all, I need to make a change to my current PDF form. In my old form one text field would auto complete depending on the export value of a drop down menu. I did this with a very simple script used as a custom calculation on the text field:  event.value = this.getField("Dropdown1").value;I would set the export value of each option in the drop down as the value that would be displayed in the text field. I now need two text fields to auto fill depending on the option in the drop down. I'm not very familiar with script and some help would be greatly appreciated.  

On my end, Adobe Acrobat fails to render some math formulas and text for a long time. The first screenshot shows the output in Adobe Acrobat, basically, everything is missing. The second is from macOS Preview. Adobe is the only viewer that fails to render any content, compared to Preview, Skim, Chrome, or even Safari.  The only solution I found is from 2 years ago, by unchecking "use local font", but this is no longer available. ----------------------------------------------------------------- 

(MAC) Why when i try to add images into acrobat, I can only add screenshots, but not IMG_ 's. Also is there a way to add more than just one image at a time.

Recently purchased a lifetime version of  Acrobat Pro DC 2019. Every time I try to activate I get sent on a loop. At one point in the loop it actually offers a trial version or purchase. Any thoughts?

i created the text box inside the pdf and saved it. Now the size is 20KB . after i just changed the position of textbox(not texts, just position of the text box) . but this lead to additional 4Kb of file size incremant. is this because of incremental update mechanism? if not why is that? 

I have two nearly identical Windows 11 machines, with virtually the same hardware (HP Pro Tower 290 G9 Desktop) with virtually the same applications installed.  In each case, Acrobat Reader is the default app for .pdf files, and Icons are supposed to be displayed on files in Explorer, while content Thumbnails are displayed on foldersOn one machine (Topaz), everything works as it should, but on the other (Fifi), the icon on .pdf files is the same as the Icon displayed on image files, such as .jpg .png etc. I have tried all the suggestions I have found on the Web (re-assign “Open with”, rebuild icon cache, re-install Acrobat etc. In explorer, I can check the box to “Always show Icons, never Thumbnails” and the Acrobat icon appears on .pdf files, as expected, but the content thumbnails on folders disappear – not what I want.Also, I noticed that if I open a folder containing .pdf files on Topaz, the acrobat Icons show immediately, but on Fifi, I see the acrobat icon flash on

why does merging pages result in the first page being correct but all other pages are blank.

My Adobe Acrobat Reader DC just updated to a 64 bit version and the process seems to have deleted my Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard, which I use to update pdf's.  I want to get it back. 

Can someone please explain in simple terms if there is a fix to this. When I take a screenshot and paste it into a Word doc, the image is perfectly clear.  When I save the Word doc to PDF the image is very blurry.  It has not always been like this, previously images in a Word doc converted to PDF were very clear, but for some reason they are now blurry 😕😕  I have not changed any settings. See example attached. Is this fixable?  If so what are the steps?

I've had this problem once before & a full scrub. Then reinstall fixed it..I think? I can't remember! I just tried the regular unistall & reinstall, but I think I run to a scrubber program first???  Apparently there are no agents? & I can't find their hours anywhere, I have a deadline I need to meet. Somebody please help me...lol

Need a document scanner, that can be controlled directly by Acrobat Pro to do the entire scanning process from start to finish, that is Mac compatible. Have used Fujitsu high end flatbeds under Windows [at work] that scan directly with Acrobat Pro, so assumed that there were some that worked also in similar fashion on a Mac. Running Sonoma 14.6.1. Have not tried a Twain compliant Epson DS 77 II [did not work] and a SnapScan IX1400 [also did not work]. And had to send both scanner back. I do not want to use the scanner manufacturer software to control the scanning and I do not want to resort to the Mac OS Image Capture to do the scanner and then move the PDF into Acrobat Pro. Since I have seen it in the Windows world [with a 2015 vintage Fujitsu scanner and Acrobat Pro], I have not been able to find a Mac compatible scanner that the companies say will 'actually' work with Acrobat Pro in this manner. Appreciate any Mac users who can confirm that the have a scanner model that can be run/c

My pdf has gone bad while editing, how do I go back to the version from last night?

When I select multiple tags in the tags panel (some are empty, some are not) and I use the "delete empty tags" button, but no tags are deleted. How can I get Adobe Acrobat to delete empty tags again? I am using the old adobe layout if that changes anything.

I successfully installed Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017 in Windows 10, but when right-clicking any file in explorer I get the following error which keeps popping up!This is in Dutch, but says it cannot be start because the parallel configuration is not correct.When I uninstall Acrobat, the error disappears.  Any ideas?

I had Abobe Pro 7 but with the fan not working on the old laptop I can't access it. At one time I had the entire Adobe suite. I paid over $3000 many years back when I was teaching. All I can say is you shouldn't have discontinued Adobe Fill and Sign. I used to be a huge Adobe fan but your customer service and products have gone way downhill. 

I was having trouble viewing newly downloaded PDFs on my Android Phone today. I came here to the community to ask a question. Next thing I know I'm being asked if I want to allow the Creative Cloud to download and install. I chose yes. It downloaded and installed, and when I try opening it, it just keeps on displaying the terms. Over and over again, after I close it and reopen it, it displays the terms. I see no place to accept the terms. Now I'm wondering if I don't really do anything with Adobe except use it to view PDFs do I need or can I use the Creative Cloud?

I bought a license for Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017 and installed a freshly downloaded version from the Adobe Website on Mac OS 10.15.1. After login with the Adobe ID I get the following screen and cannot open Adobe Acrobat. My review of available documentation on creating signature indicate that I should find the "signature preference" window but I can find this. Could they be referring to another version and if so, how do I create a digital signature with Adobe Acrobat 9 pro?The source refers to the following:Right-click the signature field, and select Sign Document or Certify With Visible Signature.You can also create an appearance using the Signature preferences: Edit > Preferences > Signatures (Windows) or Acrobat > Preferences > Signatures (Mac OS). 9 Pro does not show "signatures' option on preferences list.Jayne Leuterman
