I'm trying to combine multiple files into one PDF. I have 40 individual pdf pages that I want to make one pdf that is 40 pages in length. I then want to edit that document, rotate pages properly and save it. Used to be a simple and straight forward process. What am I missing?I am choosing combine files to a pdf, but regardless of what I choose, it apparently creates a portfolio made up of individual documents. I also want to rotate pages that were combined (some of which were landscape), and there is no way I can see to do that without literally going into each document, rotating and saving.Any help greatly appreciated.
I have a question about Acrobat Preflight and JavaScript.I’m using the built-in Preflight profile “Convert to sRGB” from JavaScript via:Preflight.getProfileByName(“Convert to sRGB”)I noticed that the profile could not be found until the Preflight tool had been opened/added in the Acrobat interface. After that, the exact same JavaScript code was able to find the profile. Is this expected behaviour?Does the Preflight JavaScript API require the Preflight tool to be initialized in the user interface before built-in profiles become available to scripts?Or should built-in profiles always be available through Preflight.getProfileByName(), regardless of whether the user has opened the Preflight tool?I’m trying to understand whether this is by design or whether something is misconfigured on my system.
Hello,We are experiencing an issue with Adobe Acrobat after performing a silent update of Adobe Acrobat Reader 64-bit.Initial installation:Adobe.Acrobat.Reader.64-bit.26.001.21563.X64.exeSilent installation arguments used:-sfx_nu /sAll /rs /msiThe installation completes successfully. After that, the user signs in with an Adobe account that has an Acrobat Pro or Acrobat Standard license. Acrobat then switches correctly from Reader mode to Pro or Standard mode.A few hours or a few days later, we deploy the newer version:Adobe.Acrobat.Reader.64-bit.26.001.21651.X64.exeWe use the same silent installation arguments:-sfx_nu /sAll /rs /msiThe update itself completes successfully and Adobe Acrobat is updated. However, when the user tries to sign in or launch Acrobat afterwards, the following error message appears:Attempted to use a method that has not been implementedAfter this error, Adobe Acrobat cannot be launched or used anymore. The only workaround we have found so far is to completely unins
Periodically I experience an issue where I add several comments to a PDF, share that annotated file with others using the "Share" button, then a day later notice that all or some of my comments have been duplicated. See below from an incident that happened today: In today's incident, when I opened the file, one version of each comment used my photo and my name in title case, and one version of each comment used a red and blue cartoon avatar and my name lowercase all one word. I deleted all the cartoon avatar comments. Then restarted Acrobat. When I opened the application again, a third of the deleted comments were still there, but this time it showed my photo instead of the cartoon avatar. I deleted all the comments by the lowercase, one-word version of my name. Then closed the file and opened it again. This time, the same comments had returned again, but showed a gray icon for my avatar. WHAT IS GOING ON?!?!?! This same issue happened on two different files that
Over the last two weeks I have been unable to use the Adobe eSignature function; unable to send requests using the Desktop app or the web interface. The Desktop request eSignature is in an endless loop after typing in the email address of the recipient. Web Version: Doesn’t matter if I go the below URL or use the link from “Creative Cloud Desktop” - > “Request e-Signatures” I always end up on a page that displays the following error.Error: Something went wrong - We’re sorry for the inconvenience. Please try again later.https://acrobat.adobe.com/link/acrobat/sendforsignature/ I have tried both my personal and business Adobe license, both have the same problem.
Is there a way to permanently disable Adobe Collaboration Synchronizer? For reasons beyond my control I am not allowed to use cloud storage. The Collab Sync process holds files open, meaning I often cannot regenerate a PDF file if I've viewed the previous version of this file in Acrobat. I can get around this by using task manager to shut down the Collab Sync process, but it's a pain to keep doing this.I found a different solution which was to locate and delete the AdobeCollabSync.exe file - which works for a while. But Creative Cloud is constatnly pushing updates which include reinstalling this file. I'm looking for a permanent solution to eliminate this process.
When I hover my pointer on top of a page this annoying box pops up and show me the ‘summary’ of the page, how do I get rid of it?I have already turned off the ‘Generative AI’ preference, and it was no use.

I just replaced my old computer and downloaded Adobe to my new one. Problem is, every time I open a new tab or start the program, I get a Get Started pop up. There is no option to skip or don't show this again. It might not be bad for the normal user, but I make hundreds of PDFs a day and it's a time killer!
It appears that the AI Assistant is not reliably aware of Adobe Acrobat’s own interface or version-specific behavior. When I ask basic, practical questions about Adobe Acrobat (64-bit) version 26.001.21563 on Windows—such as how to color fill in a text box or how to view the same PDF side-by-side for same document review— the AI Assistant becomes unresponsive or appears to load indefinitely when I ask these types of interface-level questions.Could someone clarify the intended limitations of the AI Assistant within Acrobat? Specifically:Is it designed only for document summarization and content analysis, rather than UI or workflow support? Does it have access to real-time knowledge of Acrobat’s current interface and version changes? Are there known limitations or bugs when asking for procedural UI help (e.g., form filling, split view, tool navigation)?I’m trying to understand whether this behavior is expected, or if I’m encountering a malfunction or misuse of the feature.
This issue has been-posted before, but a solution has not been found….Whenever I open PDF documents in Adobe Acrobat Pro X, it stops working while a dialog comes up that says "preparing document for reading".Most of the files I open are a combination of engineering drawings and text. This dialog freezes Acrobat for several minutes until it is finished. It does this with most documents, but not all. It also does this when I use the "Combine supported files" feature in Explorer, and when I print documents to the Adobe PDF printer. Once I create and save a document, it does not come up, however, I have noticed that documents that are new to me, or created new, seem to have this problem. What is this? Why is it set to come on by default? And, most importantly, how do I turn it off or disable it?Is it possible to go into the setup for Adobe Acrobat pro x and uninstall this "feature"? It is entirely useless to me, and very unwanted.-------------- I have tried the

For a long time, I could edit a photo with Photo Shop Elements 14 and save it as jpg, bmp, tiff, … and deal it on my smartphone. But now a photo edited with an Adobe program can’t anymore be opened with another Adobe program (FREE Adobe Acrobat Reader) Kind regardsRonny Vandenbussche79 years old an not so happy with such decissions!
Hi everyone, I’m running into an accessibility issue with PDFs that I hope someone can shed light on. I’m using JAWS 2025 and testing tagged PDFs in both Adobe Acrobat Reader and the Microsoft Edge browser. The problem: footnote links that point to content on the same page do not work properly with JAWS. These links are formatted correctly as hyperlinks, and visually, they appear and behave like standard links. However, when I activate them in either application, JAWS does not follow the link—there’s no movement, no announcement, and no indication that the link activated at all. Some notes:• When the footnote link points to a different page, it works fine—JAWS navigates and announces the destination properly.• I’ve tried refreshing the virtual buffer (Insert + Esc), but it makes no difference.• The PDF is properly tagged and includes standard link annotations.• This happens in both Adobe Reader and Edge (Chromium). Has anyone else seen this issue? Is it a known limi
When i load a pdf thats a photo into acrobat, i can see it automatically “straighten” it and skew the whole image a few degrees. Its absolutely driving me insane. I cant seem to undo it or restraighten it. Where there was once a full photo pdf is a tilted page with white uneven corners. Please help me solve this 🙏
How is it possible to use Acrobat Pro XI. I have instalation and serial number, but after instalation on my computer the software doesn’t work. It is crashig after the opening the any of pdf files.
How do I fix table regularity when I can’t open/select one of my cells to edit? I have an irregular table. I was able to set the row span for the first of two cells that are merged across multiple spans, yet the second sell that needs the row span adjusted will not open the Cell properties (pictured below with an arrow pointing to the empty cell that is not listed as a TD or TH, yet it’s a TH in the accessibility tags tree).
Are there still designers or UI specialists in the Acrobat development team? Can you read this:
In the new UI, add-ons don't display their icons, and the pop-up menu doesn't appear above the clicked tool; it appears a little further down, above the displayed document. Are these bugs, or is the new UI truly designed against common sense? Thank you. New UI: Normal UI (aka Old UI):
Hi thereI have hundreds of comments on a map file. My workflow used to be:make the correction select Set Status > Completed* and the comment disappeared from the side panel. This no longer happens automatically meaning that to remove the comment from view, I have to click on the filter, turn ‘Completed’ on, then select the filter again and turn ‘Completed’ off. I have to do this after every 5 or so comments to remove them from the map so I can see what I've done, so not ideal at all. Architecture: arm64Processor: Apple M4 MaxBuild: 26.1.21563.0AGM: 8.0.1CoolType: 11.0.0JP2K: 4.0.2.54782 *I actually want to just click on a checkbox and the comment disappears using the ‘unchecked’ filter but that no longer works either!! Another issue for another day, I suppose...
I use checkmarks to go through a document to varify both text and numbers. After my first page the checkmarks reapear on the next. If i continue and make checkmarks and so on it becomes more on the next. If i then go back up the checkmarks from later pages comes up on the early ones. Why is this happening?
