Hi all,This is a cry for help, I'm the IT Manager for an architectural firm.Some of our users are experiencing a lot of problems with Acrobat Pro, especially when the pdf are complicated drawings(we're an architectural firm after all :D).The file themselves are not heavy(like less than 5MB). I've tried basically everything I knew but it keeps happening, basically I did:-tinkered with various settings(new acrobat/old acrobat, latest version and previous versions etc)-unistalled and reinstalled Acrobat-unistalled and reinstalled all apps and the CC, using adobe cleaner and manually cleaning leftovers folder-changed windows profile Last weekend I did a clean installation of Windows and all other apps, Acrobat worked like for a couple hours anche then it broke again! One of the worst cases is one of our directors(the machine I did in the weekend was his), basically he cannot do anything: every time he opens a pdf it works maybe for a couple of pages but then it freezes and h

Hi,I have Adobe Acrobat Pro.   It lists in my "All tools" that i have AI Assistant (Full Access) and Generative Summary (Full Access) on my Adobe Acrobat Pro.    Questions1. what is the difference between these 2 new AI tools?2. Does that mean I do not have to purchase a separate plan at 4.99 per month I will be meeting with others who may only have Adobe Acrobat Reader.   If someone has Reader, do they have Full Access to AI Assistant and Generative Summary for free? thank you!

I am trying to edit a 5-page PDF doc with Adobe Acrobat DC. I should be able to edit all pages but can only edit pages 1 & 4. I can't edit pages 2, 3 & 5! It doesn't make sense!  It is not password protected, under Properties>Security>"Filling of Form Fields" is Allowed and under Settings>Scanned Document Editing Settings>Make all the pages editable is Checked. I've tried everything and wasted hours! There isn't a reason why certain pages are editable and others aren't. Please help!

Hello Community, A month ago, in the "Chinese" site of the company I work, we start to have an issue with PDF Documents. This documents can be opened correctly in Google Chrome, MS Edge, MS Word, FoxIt PDF, etc..., but we try to open in Adobe Reader some characters comes garbled.I already tried to install the newest version of the Adobe Reader, but the issue persists, then we are using the Google Chrome and MS Edge as workaround.However one of ours Service Desk analyst, fix the issue deleting and re-installing the font "NOTO Sans SC" again in the computer. Then I think that Adobe Reader is not recognising the font once the other application does.The issue happens in computers with Windows 10 and also Windows 11.Please, could you investigate why the Adobe Reader is opening the documents with garbled characters.I attached a screenshot as an example:Thansk and best regards,

I have a reasonably high spec PC running Windows 10, all up to date, and I have an Adobe CC subscription. I also have PDF thumbnails turned on for Explorer (which I need). Any time I try to Move or Rename a file in Explorer, it takes an AGE, sometimes it just hangs (as it has just done trying to rename a PDF). Moving just a very simple small file (<500kb) into a subfolder can cause Explorer to 'gather information for ages, with a silly graph showing how little it is doing! Other file types move with ease - this is PDF specific. I also find opening a file by double clicking it in Explorer (or using the context menu) can take forever, again, even for small files.I've tried uninstalling Acrobat / Reinstalling / disabling Thumbnail preview etc. No joy so far. Very frustrating.

I've got the same problem with my adobe acrobat pro 2020 release (classic) 2020.005.30793....Is it possible that there is no solution to this serious gap?

Hallo, ich habe das Problem, dass die Bilddarstellungen bei Adbobe nur als Schwarz-graue Rechtecke oder Hintergrundbild angezeigt werden. Scheinbar kann dies bei Ansicht geändert werden. Der Reiter Ansicht  oder Voreinstellung ist bei mir nicht zu finden und auch sonst komme ich da nicht so richtig weiter. Geupdatet habe ich.  Ich arbeite auf einem Mac. Wär super, wenn ihr mir da helfen könntet 🙂LG Martin

When using smart cards that have RSA keys and matching leaf certificates, which in turn are signed by EC CA certificates, acrobat reader fails at signing documents with such cards on macOS. On Windows the signing with these cards using acrobat reader goes fine.On macOS the signing with these cards on acrobat reader when using the matching pkcs#11 library goes fine. But on macOS, when we do not specify a pkcs#11 library, and acrobat using the OS' CTK framework (and the card's CTK Token plugin) to communicate with the card, no supported signing algorithm can be found.In fact, the only algorithms that the CTK framework presents (checks if the card support it) to the CTK plugin (BEIDToken) are EC algorithms. Having problems with pdf portfolio. its only printing the first file and skipping the rest, but its putting a checkmark next to them like they printed. This has happened to all of our computers.

Bonjour,  Sujet 1000 fois traité, avec des solutions qui fonctionnaient jusque là, mais avec mac OS sequoia, le problème revient et la solution "ancestrale" de supprimer les adds-on dans word et powerpoint ne fonctionne plus (dans word, on ne peut plus supprimer linkcreation.dotm, on peut juste le décocher temporairement mais la coche revient à la fermeture de word et on ne peut plus le supprimer (le - est grisé)).La suppression des fichiers dans le dossier "bibliothéque" ne fonctionne plus non plus. Si je désintalle Acrobat pro, plus de problème, mais ce n'est pas une solution... Avez vous une idée ??? La seule solution que j'ai trouvé jusque là, c'est de ne plus fermer Word ou powerpoint...

A little context for our situation. We create our documents in InDesign, export to PDF, remediate and deliver. We recently moved from PAC 2021 to the new PAC 2024 (which is great BTW) as our accessibility checker which has a new "Quality" tab. The things shown on the quality tab are not UA or WCAG errors but, rather, are things that improve the experience for the users. On our Tables of Contents (which we've done the same way for ever using the automated TOC tools in InDesign) we are getting a PAC 2024 quality error that reads "TOCI element links to an incorrect destination".  I messaged axes about the error because I was a bit confused by it and was told that the TOCI links need to direct the user to the Heading Level (H2, H3, H4, etc) but in our documents it's pointing to the page. This is a warning because if the user has low vision uses the zoom feature on the document to something like 300% they will select the TOCI and go to the top of their destination page instead of

Is AI Assistant for Acrobat included with my Creative Cloud Pro Plan?  When I try to use it, I get the message, "No requests remaining" even though my account profile says I have unlimited access to standard features of Generative AI and 4000 credits to Premium Features. It's a simple question.Please help.Thanks!

Hello Adobe Community, I’m encountering an issue with interactive form fields in a PDF document. When I try to fill out the form using Adobe Acrobat, some fields don’t respond as expected. They appear to be active but aren’t allowing me to input text or select options. Here’s what I’ve tried so far: Reopening the document Updating Adobe Acrobat to the latest version Checking the form settings (everything seems correct) Has anyone else experienced this issue? Hi there, we've made a great web form with Adobe Acrobat that anyone can fill in and signed copies go to the right person to file it but how do we know that the entries coming in are real and not bots? Sometimes the time between Viewing the form and Signing the form is zero which is suspiscious. Is there secure bot detecting tech on Adobe webforms? And if not, when are they introducing this?

I used Acrobat to add pdfs to a file (the project was designed by a vendor, so I don't have access to the original InDesign). When viewing on my computer, the hyperlinks are underlined, as I chose them to be. When I upload to our website, the links are there, but the lines are not. When the original file is open on my computer:  And when viewed online: https://www.estuarypartnership.org/sites/default/files/2025-10/LCEP-2025%20Year%20In%20Review.pdf. Note that if you click "Sunnyside Elementary School" on page 2 or any of the other links, the link opens. But no one will know there are any links to click without the underline. Can anyone help troubleshoot this? 

Hello,when I want to digitally sign a PDF, Acrobat crashes.The certificate is displayed, I can save the new file and then boom... I use the middleware "Nexus Personal" an a sign-card from D-Trust.Under Windows, it works, but under mac... pure frustration! Can anybody help me?

I am working in Acrobat XI. I'm up to about 70 fields and have plenty to go. Suddenly I cannot drag a field to change its order in the field pane. I click, hold and drag, and can see the little dotted line move, but when I unclick the field remains stuck. All of the fields appear to be locked against dragging.I could find nothing in the discussions on this problem and would appreciate any help. Thank you.EDIT: I should add - I do have "sort manually" checked under the Tab Order dropdown.

Why is the Acrobat add-in for office unable to create a PDF file?   Every MS Word file I try to convert fails., even simple ones.   Microsoft's own print to PDF handles it fine.Adobe is supposed to be the market leader in PDF.  Why can it not handle basic tasks?  What are customers paying for?

I have a PDF that is fillable and we use it to print report coversheets for our clients.  I would like to create either an Adobe Form or MS Forms to get the information for this to be passed to the PDF and then the print it.  The information is Year of a return, Type of Return, Name, Street Address and City, State and Zip.  My question is how do I take the information from an input form/screen and put it into the pdf to print it.  I'm using Adobe Acrobat Pro on a subscription.  HELP!

I have a landscape table where the Accessibility tags panel has the Table, TR, TH, and TD tags set correctly, but when I open the Tag Editor to add the scope to the headers it's not displaying correctly. How can I add the scope to this table?
