The radio buttons "participant role" default to "anyone".And when I try to change that in the properties the corresponding box is grayed out and can't be changed. Is their a way to change it?The problem arose because I was trying to get the signatures of both sender and receiver.The form requires two signatures. One from sender, one from the receiver. But when I set the "participant role" for the sender's signature and sent the form to be signed, I wasn't asked to sign it even when the receiver signed and filled the form.So I changed the participant role in the sender's signature to "prefill" which fixed the signature problem (when I sent it, I first get asked to sign it) but that sent the form already filled out and can't be changed because all the radio buttons were filled by default by me because their role is defaulted to "anyone".

Hello - We have one user that is having an issue where Acrobat suddenly won’t open.  What I find when this happens is that there are anywhere from 10-15 instances of Acrobat.exe already running on her workstation.  She is able to open it again after I kill those.  My first suspicion was that she was opening PDFs throughout the day and leaving them open, so the running process count would build to where there were too many already running.  However, I found that that was not the case.  She would open or create PDFs throughout the day but would always close them after she was done with them.  I started monitoring this remotely, periodically checking to see how many instances of Acrobat.exe were running during the day.  Most of the time it was 0.  Occasionally it would be 1 or 2, maybe 3.  Then back to 0.  Suddenly, she would have this issue again and there would be 14 instances running.  I can’t find any cause for this, and she doesn’t seem to be doing anything out of the ordinary.  I ev

Endformatrahmen funktionieren, aber leider passiert hier gar nichts, wenn ich auf Okay klicke.Ich kann es nur (annähernd) genau bescheiden, wenn ich eine mit dem gesonderten Werkzeug einen Rahmen aufziehe und doppelklicke. Doch das ist oftmals sehr ungenau. Warum funktioniert bei mir die Eingabe in die Felder im Seitenbereichsmenü nicht?Wie kann ich sonst millimetergenau zuschneiden?Danke für Eure Antworten

I have a form where fields completed a basic business card. The fields get pulled find but has the option to place 2 emails. With “Email2” to hidden when “Email” was not used. However, if someone places something in “Email2” but then clears “Email”, “Email2” breaks the long script  already in place. I want the “Email2” field to clear itself when its set to hidden. Adobe Acrobat becomes slow and laggy when loading pages in a specific PDF file.When I first open the file, it loads very slowly and briefly shows a blank (white) page After a page finally loads, navigating to the next page is also very slow.PDF details: getting-started-with-attack-october-2019.pdfhttps://www.mitre.org/sites/default/files/2021-11/getting-started-with-attack-october-2019.pdf I tested other PDF files, and they work fine and loads quickly 

Whenever I try and print PDFs from Adobe, it's common that the paper size of my PDF will be different than my printer's paper size (A4 -> Letter or Letter -> A4). Although the "Fit" option does work in centering and fitting the page to the destination, whenever I chose the "Custom Scale" option, I am able to make the content larger but it seems that the scaling is anchored at the top left corner and not the center. This makes the text/content appear larger but off-center. Is there a way to tell Acrobat to scale from the center or somehow center the document after scaling? Thank you!  

Hi anyone. Have started having issues with Acrobat XI Pro version just shutting down after about 5 seconds.Have unistalled and re-installed and same is happening. This wasn't happeniong pre new year and worked fine until Dec 2019.Anyone able to advise what is going on and how to fix it? ThanksDean

My boss has asked me to set up a contract to be e-signed. We have full acrobat suite but for the life of me I cannot get this to work.When I click e-sign in the top running tabs, I am only allowed to sign, but it just has two spinning beach balls there anyhow. If I click the ‘request e-signatures’ button at the bottom of the ‘all tools' bar, it does nothing. multiple clicks and nothing on screen anywhere happens. Before I just give up and use docusign, am I missing something obvious, or is this yet another ‘quirk’ of acrobat?

Hi, I need to uninstall Acrobat to be able to reinstall, but I get error messages so I can't uninstall. The error message was Error 2753. "Fulltrustnotifier.exe" is not marked for installation. If I try to open Acrobat, I get a message "Attempt to call a method that has not been implemented" then "Raise without Handler!" Can anyone help me with this? It's a mess! :-( Thanks.

Make all pages same size. Added some photos and pdf files to the end of another pdf file and they photos are huge while all the pages are small so it looks weird when you try going through the pages.Why is there no autoshrink button or something? So all pages go to the default or same size?

Pero tengo una genial idea para que esta apliacion sea la mejor del mundo y es que hagan lo hace liquid text en apple. Osea tener el pdf abierto y al lado tener como una hoja donde esten conectados los subrayados y si los pulsas te diren a ellos. El poder escribrir pero a lapiz digital dentro de esa hoja. Si podrian hacerlo de verdad que pagaria por este endemoniado servicio ojala lo hagan. Gracias. Confio en ustedes

Hi Adobe Community,I’m facing an issue with layer visibility in PDFs and would appreciate your guidance.I am creating a layered PDF using PDF/X-4 settings from Adobe InDesign 24. After generating the PDF, I tested it across different Acrobat versions:In Acrobat 8, 10, 11, and DC – the layers are visible and function correctly in the Layers panel. However, in Acrobat 9.0 – the layers are not displayed properly. Instead, it shows only “D (default configuration) – text only”, and none of the actual layers are visible.The PDF clearly contains Optional Content Groups (layers), and since it works in other versions, I assume the file itself is not corrupted.Could you please help clarify:Is this a known limitation or bug in Acrobat 9.0 related to PDF/X-4 or layer handling? Are there any specific export settings in InDesign that improve compatibility with Acrobat 9? I am trying to merge PDF files with camscanner generated files into a combined PDF. However, pages from each file are not proportional and I wanted to know if there is a way to amend this via the app? I do not have access to all the scanned documents anymore, so any way around this will be majorly appreciated!!

Hello,I have many .msg files (from outlook) in my computer. I want to mass convert them to .pdf however, if I do so I have to rename them, one by one, during the conversion process (they are all named Memo Style.pdf). I want to convert into .pdf with the same name as they have as .msg. Is it possible? How should I do it?

Hi - Not sure if this is the appropriate pathway - but is there a way to get a shortcut key added for redacting a page? Currently there is one for the redaction tool but we redact large amounts of whole pages and would love a shortcut to redact the current page and still use the menu to select a grouping.

I have a form with checkboxes that will create templates in the form to fill out. I would like to uncheck the box and have it delete that particular form. I do this now by searching for a certain fieldname on that page. If it finds it, delete the page. This is my issue:Say I have form 1 (page1), 2 (page2), 3 (page3) created. I remove 2. It removes and now there is form 1 (page1), and form 3 (now page2). When I try to delete form 3 now it searches for the specific fieldname, but it tells me that the field name is still on page 3, and thus can’t delete a page that is nonexistent, leaving form 3 (page2) still there. How do I get it to refresh (I have used “this.calculateNow();” before AND after deletion but dosen’t work) so it sees the fieldname on the proper page, ie page 2.Here is my code:if (trackerField != null) {        this.calculateNow();        var trackerField = this.getField("PageTracker2_" + cbName);        var pageToDelete = Number(trackerField.value);                // Remove

PDF’s. After an update the icons on my desktop are now thumbnails (showing the contents instead of just an icon). If I change to icons in File Explorer then all my thumbnails in Documents are changed to icons (no contents, just an empty folder icon). I can’t seem to restore to the original view. Thanks, Lee

Acrobat Pro is very slow on my Mac, and it makes work hard to finish. Even simple tasks take too long, which is really frustrating. I hope an update can fix this and make it faster soon.

My Adobe Acrobat Standard PDF file does not print. It’s not the printer because the printer can print other files. It’s just this particular file that doesn’t print. Can someone provide a solution or recommendation?jimjks
