Mac OS Tahoe - SafariSo I have a collab Acrobat in the cloud (acrobat.adobe.com). The PDF has over 50k comments from different users.I need to use the search field (Cmd F) or hit that magnifying glass at the top right, in order to find a specific comment. But the keyword search ONLY pulls up words from the PDF document itself, and not from all the comments.How do I search in the comments?!

Hi All,My Acrobat Pro program has crashed twice when attempting to save a multi-page file produced from a number of scans.  I have sucessfully scanned and saved the introduction and the first two chapters of a book I am having reprinted.  That was about 80 pages in three separate files to which  the OCR recogition software was applied. When I attempted to save a subsequent chapter with the same settings as the previous three I was presented with a blank screen (see screenshot) instead of the save as dialogue box.   I called the Adobe help number and the tech took control of the computer and "saved" the file.  I asked him about why the crash happened and he said it was "just a glitch" and as a result of his intervention it would not happen again.   I saw the saved file in the file list on my computer's file manager, or whatever they call it these days.  I never thought I should open the file.  When I later opened it all my sett

I was using Acrobat on an older Mac system (10.4) and was able to print large or enlarged PDFs in Poster (tile) mode to several pages that I then taped together. Once I upgraded to Sonoma 14.5 and the latest acrobat reader version, I was no longer able to do so. The poster tab is greyed out and when I go to advanced, I am unable to uncheck the box to print as image and it says that that is the only way to print in OS14. Is there a work around or update that will allow this in the near future? I am really hurting as I need this feature to print patterns for my job.

Following this process:Open a PDF → Use a Dynamic Stamp → Click the "Share" at the top right. Add a name and a brief message (2 to 10 words). Click Send or ok or whatever.  Adobe hangs at that point.  Does this after a fresh reboot. Does this every time now starting this week (9/22/2025).Tried uninstall/reinstall of Adobe Pro and checked for updates.Did a Repair Installation then another check for updates. Tried going to %Appdata% and deleting Adobe folder and letting it rebuild.Tried contacting support but they are TERRIBLE. told me repeated (3 different techs) to just reinstall it. NO HELP.

E-signature requests state that they are sent but nor myself or the recipients ever receive an email. I have tried sending using the desktop app and also the web app.The requests populate on the in progress page. Have tried sending to many different email hosts - none seem to work. Please help! Cheers,Evan

I am using Adobe Acrobat 8 to make changes to PDF files.In Batch Processing -- Crop Pages it will not let me add a custom size. It says that the page size may not be reduced. I tried it two ways: 1. With a document open that was 9.5in by 10.25in. Crop Page to 10in by 10.75in to create some space around the document. Did not work. Gave me page size errror.2. No document open. Set size to 10 by 10.75 with same page size error. I am able do the crop under Document -- Crop Pages. Works great, but I need a batch process for this.We created a Crop Pages process on other files and it worked just fine. Any ideas as to why it's not working now?Thanks!

Hi, was this ever resolved, started experiencing this this week, but adobe support have said its windows and nothing to do with them.

I run Adobe Acrobat (as administrator) from my Desktop.Acrobat displays a list of recent files.I open one of the files in the list.When the file opens, I get a pop-up "See new Acrobat features".I open my Preferences> General> 'Messages from/to Adobe' and uncheck 'Show me messages when I launch Adobe Acrobat'.I click 'OK'.This closes the 'Preferences' page.I close the file I opened earlier.I close Adobe Acrobat.Test****I run Adobe Acrobat (as administrator) from my Desktop.Acrobat displays a list of recent files.I open the file I used above and the pop-up re-appears.I open my Preferences> General> 'Messages from/to Adobe' andthe 'Show me messages when I launch Adobe Acrobat' is checked (even though I unchecked it as above).My Questions!************WHY is the 'Show me messages when I launch Adobe Acrobat' being re-checked between opening, closing and re-opening the file?Additionally, my mouse wheel is tempoarily disabled.

How do I enable ai assistant on adobe acrobat. My issue is that if I uninstall it and install adobe reader I can use AI Assistant but as soon as it upgrades to adobe acrobat pro it goes away.  [Moved by moderator from the Using the Community forum]

Opening an attached pdf from the new outlook app with Adobe Acrobat Pro installed locally, throws a windows application error saying the memory could not be read. When opening a pdf file from file explorer there is no problem or error. Not sure if this is an Adobe Acrobate Pro issue or New Outlook app issue? I can just click ok and prompt goes away. PDF opens fine as it should, it just always will pop up with this error message everytime I open a pdf attachment on a mail, which I then have to actively click ok.I had this problem on my old computer for a long time, tried everything. Couldn't find a resolution. Just got a brand new laptop, with new installs of Windows 11, New Outlook and Adobe Acrobat Pro. Everyting is up to date. I am now haunted by the same issue. This is not good for my OCD 🙂Also, I have run virus scans to make sure it isn't a virus causing this issue. Used Copilot for assistance, still no luck. If anyone out there has solved this. Would love to hear from you.

I opened a PDF created by another company and simply wanted to delete a few fields and add a company logo.  The app is so slow I can barely use it...  Just to move the logo I've pasted using the arrow keys is an excruciatingly slow process.  Moving left or right or up or down "5 clicks" can take 30 seconds.  Seriously adsurd...  I.e.  Get up and walk away from the machine while it is trying to move an image within the document or even simply scroll. Yes, my machine can handle this app.  Brand new iMac w/ 256gb of ram.  Acrobat acts like I'm using an Intel Pentium from the mid-90s.  I run Illustrator all day / every day without an issue.  Acrobat is unusable. Surely there's a solution???????

A complete wipe, and reinstall OF AN OLD VERSION and the forms work, update to the latest version and it breaks.  We need a way of mass rolling it back from our machines. Over 100 PCs have to use Adobe Pro in my organization. We do not have the manpower to manually roll them all back within a reasonable time period.  

I have and AEM Designer built form. I can add row instances.  What I need is in each row I want to include a check box and another button else where of the form. And when I click this button It will refer to checked boxes in rows and perform tasks such as delete that instance or include a new instance below etc. Do you have any idea how we can do that?

I've created a form with roughly 50 check boxes and 25 pull-downs. I duplicated the first three and pasted them in position.When I tested the form, when I clicked on one check box, all the check boxes became checked.How do I unlink them so that clicking on one box will only check that box.Thanks

When I try to delete certain pages from my PDF file (which is larger than 3,000 pages), I get an error message that states "expected an array object." I am unable to delete these pages. How can I fix this problem?

In classic Acrobat you could add an audio either by selecting a file or creating an audio by recording it direct into Acrobat from the comments section. In the new Acrobat the “record” an audio option seems to be missing. Is that feature still available? If so does anyone know where the Acrobat developers have chosen to hide it from the logical spot it was in the classic version (used to be next to “select audio”.

I just tested to see what the ChatGPT can do when I uploaded a password protected pdf document. I told it to make and printable format. It then asked me if it wanted to add trim marks and bleed, and made a pdf i can download.  It had removed all security preferences! I looked up what AI said about this and it said it was not able to remove password restrictions. However, this ONLY applies to the password OPENING THE DOCUMENT. It can remove everything if it can open the document. So, why can't you make it so it can't remove ANY restrictions! without this it does no good to have print and edit restrictions!!

Just switched to new UI, and this item keeps appearing at the top of the recents list on launch.I have tried completing the tutorial. I have deleted the item from the recents list. I have deleted ALL the recents list. I have turned off the recents list altogether (setting recent items to zero).No matter what I do, every time I launch Acrobat, this item reappears at the very top of my recents list with a time stamp of "just now". Like it's being automatically opened and closed every time I launch without my seeing it. When I switch back to classic UI, I can delete the item and it never returns. Until I switch back to new UI, then it starts all over again.Anyone know how to get rid of this (yet again) really annoying and nagging "feature" in new UI? Screenshot below.Thanks!

But why can't it simply be an option to autofill every item instead of forcing you to change the name. I'm trying to fill out cut sheets and they will all have the same field names; Part number, fixture type, etc. and this has consumed a good deal of my time unnecisarily. Whether it's regulated by a body of some sort or not there should 100% be an option to not do it. 

Hello everyone, Over the past month, I've been experiencing frequent crashes on my PC when using Acrobat Reader Pro alongside Microsoft Edge. Typically, this happens when I've been reading for an extended period and then switch to the browser, causing Edge to crash and my entire PC to display a black screen.I've tried various solutions to resolve this issue, including running "sfc scannow" and "CHKDSK" commands in Windows, as well as uninstalling Acrobat Reader. Unfortunately, none of these attempts have been successful. Occasionally, when I close Acrobat after Edge crashes and my PC becomes unresponsive, I encounter an error message that says "Exception unknown software exception (0xe0000008)."I'm currently using Windows 11 and would appreciate any advice or further steps I can take to fix this persistent problem. Thank you.

Someone at our organization created a PDF with fillable form to send out. Some of them come back normal, but some come back showing the text entered in the fields duplicated or ghosted. I checked the original and there are no duplicated fields.On my own computer, they look normal in Acrobat Reader, but when I print them all of the fields text is doubled, impossible to read.The user can manually delete the text if they highlight and click delete.
