I built my personal adobe profile 25 years ago for graphic arts and use Illustrator and Photoshop frequently. 14 years ago I started a business and use Acrobat to create invoices and bids.I recently started using e-sign and was annoyed when all of the responses came back to my personal email and not my business email. So I changed my login to my business email and requested Adobe to migrate my files from my personal profile to my business profile for streamlining. Mind you I have thousands of files amassed over the last 12 years to migrate, so I get it that it would take awhile, but to go one by one, as was suggested, would take me weeks of migrating the files in that way.  It took several hours to completely explain what I wanted and have my issue ushered up the chain to someone who said they could help. When i am trying to preview a pdf document in file explorer, it now says "the file you are attempting to preview could harm your computer, if you trust the file and the source you received it from, open it to view its contents".   When i go to the document properties, under General/Security, there is a check box at the bottom to "unblock" the document. Is there a way to remove this security feature so i dont have to do this?  I have been using adobe pro for years, and this is new, never happened to me before. Thanks in advance!

I am on the most up to date version please can you explain why this is happening? I have tried three different printers and they all print blank pages. The print preview within the app shows only blank pages as well

Is there a way to upgrade Adobe Reader to Adobe Acrobat Pro without having to sign-in to an account? I just want to have reader fully upgraded before I hand the computer to a user, so they aren’t stuck waiting for it to upgrade.  It seems like this upgrade process repeatedly gets stuck, sometimes requiring me to reinstall reader entirely before trying again. It’s frustrating because there is no progress bar or indication its trying again beyond a vague "there were some issues, we’re trying again”. Can we please just get an MSI or MSP that upgrades the app without having to go through the download and fragile install process? Preferably with a log to tell us exactly why it might fail? It just seems very counter-intuitive to spend an hour or more trying to get a single user upgraded to Adobe Pro. 

Hello Acrobat Community. I hope you could shed some light to my problem with Printing to PDF.I have successfully created PDF Files named “1” and “2”. I try to embed it on the Acrobat File “TEMPLATE BASE”. The first page of the file (CONTROL PAGE) have 2 buttons where you can upload the pdf files “1” and “2”. I have uploaded both files successfully, unfortunately when I PRINT TO PDF, the resulting PDF File named “PRINT” shows random characters.I have attached the mentioned files.I hope someone can help me, I tried searching and doing the recommended solutions but nothing changed the results on the print.Looking forward on the community in shedding some light.Thank you,James

I need to plot CAD site plans to PDFs and whenever I do some lines on the drawing show up much lighter than others, seemingly at random as many of these lines are from the same layer in CAD. The lineweight problem can be solved when unchecking the smooth line art box in preferences but the lines are, obvioiusly, not smooth. They are chunky and difficult to see detail. How can I find the happy medium of smooth line art that doesnt have varying lineweight?

I have a single-user version of Adobe DC. However, I need the programme for my desktop computer and my laptop when I am travelling. Recently, I have had to log out first so that I can work with it on the other computer. Does anyone have a good idea for a workaround?That means, I use it only on one computer at a time, but now I have to sign out first, which is very laborious.

My Adobe account was originally with my educational institution, but it has been my personal account for several years. However, when I use DocuSign, it still shows my educational institution as signatory and not me. Of course, this is creating a lot of confusion when I ask to sign a document. None of the information in my account setting refers now to my old educational institution other then the original order number that ends with the letter EDU (just to make this clear, I have been paying the full subscription fees as individual for years now). What should I do to make mysefl the signatory?

After I already canceled my membership to adobe acrobat pro in February (before the free trial is finished), I still received an email this month stating that my payement method failed. Why are they still billing me even after cancelling the membership withinthe free trial (I received the cancellation email) ?

An unintended consequence of adding password to the PDF Form is, I cannot merge data fields to export to Excel. Does anyone have a solution around this? I am expecting 1,000 applications. I need the information to export to Excel, which means I have to open each document and remove the password. I cannot send this form out without a password because these people would alter EVERY single field on the form to give me what "they want me to have" instead of answer the questions we have asked them.Any Ideas? BTW the form is already live.

 As shown in the photo, When I use a highlighter, it breaks between words.(especially when switching between Korean and English, or between letters and numbers)I tried OCR again, but it's the same.How can I continuously highlight between words without breaking?

I have a Creative Cloud Pro plan. Acrobat Pro is listed as included on the plan page, but it does NOT appear under my actual account entitlements in my CC app. I have tried restarting my CC app (mac). OS is updated.

One of our customer doesn’t like the mouse hover display of alt-text. They want it to be disabled. How to fix it. 

Using the Acrobat ribbon/PDFMaker Add-in in Microsoft Word to export a PDF fails to bring the alt text to the PDF. This is with the ‘Enable accessibility’ box checked in the Preferences. I have tried on a work and home computer in case this was a device-specific issue.WebAIM seem to have had the same issue as recently as Oct 2025: WebAIM: Word and PowerPoint Alt Text Roundup. Although I did think this was working at some point in the last year or so.The work around is using the Save as option (ie on Microsoft side not Adobe). Do others have the same problem? Is this on Adobe’s radar to fix?

I am having a problem comparing two versions of a file. Getting an error message which reads "Acrobat could not Compare the Documents Completely."I uninstalled and re-installed Adobe Acrobat Pro and got same results.Windows 10 Pro.Adobe Acrobat Pro is version 23.2048. (20421).I also tested using the suggestion in this thread.Open Acrobat>help>About Acrobat.Navigate to Acrobat>Edit>Preferences>Security (Enhanced)>disable "Protected View" and "Enhanced Security"> Click OKClose and reopen Acrobat and try comparing files again.  That failed with the same error. Original settings were restored.Sample image or error: I gett he same error, regarless of whether I choose the Compare Text Only option or not.

When I go to complete my Digital Signature, it wont allow me to Sign. I have tried Saving the Doument, Checking for Update, Uninstalling and Reinstalling Adobe, Creating a new Digital Signature......  

I bought Adobe Acrobat Pro XI . Recently due to a hard drive failure I had to reinstall Adobe Acrobat Pro XI in a new computer. The product was registered to my Adobe Account online. While reinstalling, I used my key from my Adobe Account but it constantly says invalid key. So, I installed the product as a trial and signed in with my Adobe Account ID and password but every day the program asks me to license it before using it. I hit License button and sign in with my Adobe ID and password and it goes away only to reappear in 24 hours. Need to have a stop to this madness.Best regards, 

When I open the PDF Document in Adobe, we got an addin Imange, as you can see in the imanage it shows the option like Open, Save AS.But when I do any edit on this document for example sign the document then the options in iManage addin will fade. Can you please tell on how to fix this issue??Why changes made to the document are not saved to imanage?

***I am running Acrobat Pro on a MacBook Pro running Tahoe***After around six hours of ChatGPT guiding me through about twenty five failed attempts to make this work, I am hoping a smart human can do what AI cannot.I have a rating form with a 0-10 point rating scale. II want the form to display an icon that represents the number.  I have the icon images ready to import into Acrobat. I do not care if the form lets me select the icon from a drop down menu or the form converts the number I enter to the icon or I click multiple times to.cycle through the list of icons to select the one I want.  I just want the end product to display the icon and not the number.Can someone help me with this?

Something has changed and I do not have a soluton. Please advise. I have created created posters of 24" x 30" (to be printed on 8.5" x 11"). I print these via the "Poster" in the Page Sizing & Handling, set the Overlap to 0.25, click on Cut marks and Print. This has always provide great cut marks on top of the image, allowing me to splice together for creating the 24" x 30" poster. But now, the cut marks are only appearing out side the image, and no longer apear on top of the image. (I do have a final trim box inside the full poster) Print drivers are up to date as is the software. Please advise.

Hello,I'm having issues when creating links in a PDF file with Adobe Acrobat (Pro) (Continuous Release | Version 2025.001.21288 |64-Bit). When I create the link to another PDF while the original PDF is in location A (a network location, that is addressed with the absolute location: \\netServer\netFolder\fileName.pdf), the link works fine and the linked file is opened in Adobe Reader displayed.This is how the link is created (German version):> Verknüpfungseigenschaften > Aktionen > Aktion hinzufügen > Aktion auswählen > Artikel lesenAktionen > Datei öffnen > FileEnglish should look like this:> Link Properties > Actions tab > Select Action dropdown > Open a file > Select... Any PDF file takes 30 seconds to open regardless of whether Acrobat is open already or not. This is happening on a brand new Dell XPS laptop. I've used Adobe apps on Dell PCs for decades and have never experienced this issue. It has completely disrupted my workflow.
