I work with blueprints sent to me in PDF. I was using Acrbat DC and was able to easily select a line or object to move or remove it. I could also edit or create the text in boxes. I was forced to upgrade to the subscription version Acrobat Pro 25 001 209997 and now I can't use it at all. It's extremely slow and I can't easily select a line and delete it like before. Now when I try that all I can get is a select box that's larger than I want and in a random place not where I want it. It must be a setting but I don't know how to fix this.

We are experiencing an issue where PDF files become corrupted immediately after opening them in Adobe Acrobat.This started recently and is happening more frequently. The files are not corrupted before opening, but after opening them in Acrobat they can no longer be opened, neither in Acrobat nor in other PDF viewers.This occurs with different PDF files and from different sources. In some cases the files are opened from a network or cloud location, in other cases locally.We would like to understand what could cause Acrobat to corrupt PDF files upon opening and how this can be prevented.Environment:– Adobe Acrobat version: 25.1.21111.0– Operating system: Windows 11Any guidance or known issues would be appreciated.

I am using Acrobat on an M4 MacBookPro runing macOS 15.7.3. After upgrading to Acrobat Studio, AI Summary quit working! To make sure the problem is with Acrobat and not something else. I tried AI summary on PDF Expert (which I also own) and Google Gemini (free, but must use Chrome). Both of them work responsively, while Acrobat gives me the error message "Something went wrong. Please try again." However, retry doesn't change the outcome! Moreover, after the "upgrade," Acrobat hangs when I start it from the "Creative Cloud" app! I wonder why Adobe would push out such an unreliable "upgrade" that actually breaks a working product!

I am trying to upate a fillable PDF that I created previously. This PDF has normal text fields and fillable text fields as well. When I attempt to make changes to the fillable fields (deleting, changing where the fileds are so that when you tab it goes to the correct fillable field when being filled out, etc.) and then save the changes, it will not save. I get the following message : "The document could not be saved. Cannot save to this filename. Please save the document with a different name or in a different folder". When I make changes in Edit vs Prepare a Form, the changes save no problem. I tried updating Acrobat but still no luck

Je suis en train (d'essayer) de créer une application (éxécutable sur PC), en python, me permettant de faire un montage (imposition) pour l'impression professionnelle (imposition en 4 poses suivant les formats). Pour l'imposition, il n'y a pas de souci j'ai trouvé ce que je veux. Par contre pour enlever les traits de coupe sur le fichier original, je n'arrive à rien. J'ai essayé avec "PyMuPDF (fitz)", "_removeDrawing", "ReportLab", "pikepdf", "PyPDF2" mais rien n'y fait, les traits de coupe ne disparaissent pas... Il faut savoir, que certains fichiers ont des images à fond perdu, donc on oublie le recadrage et d'autre ont les traits de coupe à cheval sur le débord, donc il faut vraiment que je trouve une solution pour les effacer et non les cacher ou recouvrir. D'aitant plus que les fichiers que je reçoi sont d'origines multiples et variées (Indesign, illustrator, photoshop, canva et autres solutions plus ou moins performantes.Quelqu'un aurait-il une idée? PS: je ne suis pas progr

Is it possible to create a signature field in Adobe Acrobat 2020 Pro and also use it as a text field if needed? It should then also be usable in Adobe Acrobat Reader (free version). If not (which I suspect), is there a workaround to achieve this? ...in simple steps.

We're having this issue pop up among random users where the C:\Windows\Installer folder is filling up with tons of .msp files that belong to Adobe Acrobat at about 1GB each. This one machine I am currently looking at has over 300 of these files. Is there a reason as to why this is happening? I create manuals in InDesign and export them to PDF from which they're printed as either double sided A4 pages or as double sided A3 booklets.  The problem is with the A3 booklet prints: On at least one page three text boxes (unlinked and with different paragraph styles) and a line shape drawn in InDesign move. They are on the bottom 3cm of the page and none of the text or images higher up on the page nor the images or text on the master page that was applied to the page are affected. On the print, the text in one of the text boxes even flows to the next line and it has an indent where there shouldn't be.  If it was the whole page that was affected I'd imagine it's to do with margins, but the fact that it's only the bottom area that's changed has me confused. Other people print the pages so I'm hoping there's something I can do on my end. I've attached a screenshot of my InDesign document and an image showing how it printed in A3 booklet.

For some reason the default font has changed and I can't change it -even if I continue typing in a text box that has text in a different font it reverts to the default font.  It doesn't give the name of the font.

In the current Acrobat Pro (Unified UI), what is the reliable way to view or edit document-level JavaScripts embedded in a form? The Document Properties dialog does not show a JavaScript tab in my build. I use a Dell computer to build my forms. Built them and now can't access the scripts to edit them. Help! Please!

I have Adobe Acrobat Pro under a new profile from my organization/business and I have the option to send for e sigs as per usual but all of a sudden now when I try to send pdfs out for signatures, I keep getting "authentication failed"and another message that says "Request e-signature services aren't available for the profile you selected when signing in"The head of this organization says he has no issues sending for e sigs on his account but I do, anyone know why?

Hello,I've the Adobe Lightroom Plan that accoriding to the website includes Acrobat Create PDF / PDF services as web service. However, when I login on their website, it does not show any Acrobat products. It tells me for a trial or asks me to buy the Acrobat product.Can someone help? Thanks.

I am attempting to create a form from an existing pdf. With one particular PDF I get errors when I either:- Use the Auto-detect form field- Attempt to manually input the fieldsWhen attempting to use the auto-detect Acrobat freezes, goes into a 'Not Responding' state and must be force closed. This same behavior occurs when I add a single form box manually.This only occurs with one PDF. I have done several others. All of these PDFs were created and exported from InDesign. There is nothing fancy in them. Its text, boxes and tables.Attached is a diagnostic. I am not sure how helpful it will be, as Acrobat will hang indefinitely while the diagnostics is running and will crash immediatly after diagnostics are stopped.

I am trying to get acrobat reader, no free trials, no upgrades. I am in a loop, I am being forced to select an upgrade plan for pro, which I do not want or need. I downloaded the official reader download, but it auto updates, and in my case, there is no icon to follow the opt out instructions from, the client does it immediately in the background. I cannot run the product, because I am not putting in credit card information when I have no BUSINESS with adobe. Surely there should be a much simpler way to stop this. 

Hopefully someone can help me get answers. I have a premium subscription and have been using the read aloud feature for a good 20 days now but for the past two days no matter what device I use the online voices do not load. If I log out of my account the function will work but for only 2 minutes as a free user. So it's not an app issue. Is there usage limit that I'm unaware of?

Is there a way to close the left panel in Acrobat DC Pro on a Mac using a menu item or a keyboard command?  I can do this for the rightside panel but not yet the left.Thanks.

I'm finishing the editing on a PDF of a book I wrote. It is going to be spiral-bound, so I figured out at some point how to move the entire block of content on each page .25" to one side to allow for the spiral-binding holes.  I forgot, though, that since each page of the book will be printed on both sides, every other page in the PDF needs to be moved the opposite way .25".  But now I can't recall how I did it in the first place.  Please help!

I'm using this calculation script:event.value = this.getField("PREVO").value + " & " + this.getField("COPREVO").value; is there a way to ensure that the & symbol doesn't appear when PREVO is blank? Or if I only have information in PREVO and not COPREVO?  

I'm working on updating a pricing/billing form for work.  If any single product is waived or exception priced, then the form needs to be signed by the sales person submitting it.  I have added a drop-doown for each product that says it is either "Standard Pricing" or "Exception Pricing".  I have another fields which notates whether the form requires a signature or not; this is a simple "Yes" or "No".  I want latter field to automatically swap from "No" to "Yes" when any field has "Excepion Pricing" selected.  I'm not super fluent in Java, but I have been able to determine this would be done in the custom calculation section of the yes/no field. The older form that I am updating from used a calculation on each of the standard/exception pricing fields to send an update to the yes/no field.  The issue with this is if you take any of those from exception to standard, it changes the "need signature" box to No, even of another field is remaining in exceptio
