Hi Adobe Community,I'm encountering an issue with the responsiveness/scaling of my document in RoboHelp 2019. Despite my troubleshooting efforts, I'm still facing challenges in ensuring that the document displays correctly across different devices.When viewing the file, the page is not displaying complete content. It is half cut at the bottom of the page, making it difficult for users to access the entire document.I've tried various methods to address this issue, but haven't found a solution yet. Could anyone provide guidance or suggestions on how to resolve this problem effectively?

I wanted to check if there is an option in Robohelp Version 2022.1.188 with "Responsive HTML5" Output to aggregate separate content pages under "Author" into a single HTML5 page in the "Output". Please advise.If there is such option, please let me know if any other preset which has it. Thank you.

Can anybody help me how to translate snippets.All seems to be set OK:Language set to UKTranslate : yes But when I look in the tranlated project I get :assets/snippets/Notes/Note_Product_loses_guarantee.hts" is not definedor they are just not tranlated even though all was synced. Using Robohelp: 2022.3.93

Hi Something strange has just happened to a RoboHelp project I have been working on and off for some years. When I go to select a related topic, or a topic to link to, topics that match my search entry are duplicated (i.e. they appear twice). Looking at the preview offered, I can see that one topic is up to date and the other is an earlier version. However, when I look in the project Contents folder there is only one topic file.  Somehow or other RH seems to be holding on to an earlier version of files I've updated (where?) despite there being only one HTM file for the topic in the Contents folder . This is especially annoying as I can see myself wrongly selecting an out-of-date version. A screenshot of the duplication is attached. Any ideas? [Version: 2020.4.173]   TIA Geoffrey

Hi I've just encountered the frozen thumbnail issue with 2020.8.34, so I've bitten the bullet and attempted to download the latest version of RH. But when I go to my Adobe account and display the list of Adobe products I've registered, I don't see RH listed. I've been paying the monthly subscription for a couple of years now, so Adobe must know I'm a legit user. Presumably RH is not in the registered list of products because I didn't explicitly register it (though I would have thought it would be automatically registered when I bought it). So how can I download the latest version? I could probably downlaod it directly (rather than through my account), but presumably I would ned a product key to install it … and I don't have a product key (and don't recall getting one at th etime). Any ideas?TIAGeoffrey

When we generate the help file using RHTML, it picks a random file and makes one of the characters uppercase (title case). It's happened twice now. For example, we have the topic filename Program_Summary_window.htm and it changed it to Program_Summary_Window.htm for the generated file. This works fine on my system either way but when our programmers take it, it doesn't "reference" properly. I'm guessing they are not taking a whole, "fresh" file but are merging it in with the old one from the last release, but I am waiting to hear from them. Regardless, how can we stop RH from changing the case in the filename? Why is it doing this? Is it taking the filename from the topic title (which is upper/lower, sentence case)? BUT for whatever reason, it's NOT doing that to others that are set up the same way. Also, last release (month), it did it to a different file. This release (month), it picked this file. Hello, I have created a few WebHelp systems with RH 2019 and since the feature has been available I've been including the map Files in the Output, however, in all cases when the published version of the WebHelp is opened the first page shown is the default page and not the corresponding page. ie: When WebHelp was created with RH 2017 we could map the pages to our site so that if the user was on the "all about green" page of our system and pressed help they would be taken to the "all about green" topic. Right now no matter which page a user is when they press the Help button they get the default page.I would like to have this functionality in our Webhelps output from RH2019. I don't want the default page to open, I need the matching page to open.I know that in the first few versions of RH2019 Map Files were not at all included but it is now. Does it seem likely that the mapping isn't working yet, either buggy or not fully available, or are my developers making an error when they impleme

Good morning, I'm not even sure where to start honestly and I'm hoping you may be able to provide some advice.  Adobe has provided support previously and advised that the way our project structure is set up is not the way it was meant to work at all.  Here's the story.   We build internal KBs for our customer service department based on each client and plan.  We work with Medical health insurance so each plan will have it's own benefit structure like cost of copay for dr. visit etc. and plan materials.  The vast majority of the content is internal processes that are the same across the board.  These were literally all set up and pages copied into every project.  (lots of projects).  In 2015, we designated one plan as a "parent" for these internal processes, hyperlinked to the parent project, and set up external content search for the children plans so the search function would pull the topics that did not live withing the project anymor

Hello, I currently use: RoboHelp version 2022.2.22 Output: Frameless Skin: DarkOS: Windows 10 / 64 Bit And I have the following problem: I need to display the output in a browser (Chrome) in fullscreen mode. The browser's forward and backward buttons are not available to me because they are not visible in full-screen mode. So I want to create two topic page buttons for this that can be used as forward and backward buttons. I created the 2 buttons under “Theme buttons > add”, gave them names and also stored symbols. The keys appear correctly in the preview and in the output. Now I have entered the following for the buttons in the section under “Theme buttons > Javascript”: Page back key: window.history.back() Page forward key: window.history.forward() I then saved everything and regenerated and re-displayed the project using Frameless/Dark. This is another peculiar bug (?) we've encountered, but we find it impossible to use exact search in a Frameless output if General > Language of the output preset is not set to English. With exact search, I mean surrounding a query with quotation marks, e.g. "onder bepaalde voorwaarden". When we use this query in a Dutch project with a Frameless output generated in Dutch, no results are found. Search results are only shown when we generate the Frameless output in English instead.RH version: 2022.3.93 ILLUSTRATEDDutchEnglish

I'm using RoboHelp 2022. When I try to edit my topics, I keep getting a message that says "It is read only content." Does anyone have an idea why I'm getting this message? I am able to edit the html in RoboHelp but not the normal view. I've tried closing and reopening RoboHelp. I also checked that the topic is not marked as read-only in Windows.

I have 6 RH2022.3.93 projects that are independent of each other. Not 1 project with 6 sub-projects - 6 separete .rhpj files.Also, only generate PDFs currently, no online content - old school.Company now wants to create a RH website project with 1 home page listing all 6 projects as hyperlinks.I know I can create a Frameless output preset for each of my 6 .rhpj projects, but how do I tie all 6 together?Any suggestions/ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I have an index structured as follows:Chapter 1             Subchapter 1                       Content                       Content...As you can see, it is composed of chapters and subchapters. I have a cover where I display the chapter name using data-field "chapter-title", and I also want to display the subchapter. However, I can't find a way to do it; I use data-field "subchapter-title" or data-field "section-title", but it gives me an error. Has anyone managed to do this?

Hi there, I’m using Robohelp Version 2022.3.93, and I’m facing some issues.In the output, when browsing the topics in the left panel, with each click, all the topics flash, and if I click on one of the first topics in the list, go down with the scroll bar and select another one from the end of the list, instead of staying focused on the last one chosen, the left panel automatically scrolls up. Any suggestion on how to fix it?

Hello tech writers and Adobe employees,  One of my colleagues is having trouble importing xlf files that came back from the translation team.  I had generated the files for him to send to the translation team including the mapper file since he didnt have the right version of RH.  he has v2022 now.  He received the translated files, placed the mapper file in the same folder. When he tried to import, he gets the message "Invalid folder.  pls select a valid language folder".   I used the same RH project, and tried to import the xlf files after putting the mpf files in the same folder.  I am also getting the Invalid folder error message.  I would like to  attach a zip file which contains the mpf file and the translated xlf files but this site does not allow it.  pls advise if there is a way to resolve this error.  > Thanks. - Bob

I am using RH 2022.3.93. I tried inserting a simple MathML html into my frameless help topic by using Insert > HTML Elements > Embed html. I also tried adding it directly using the Source ("</>") tab. But then RH changes my html so it does not work. It moved the </math> line from the bottom to the middle of what I pasted. Is there a trick to keep RH from corrupting my html that I added? 

I am using the RH 2022.3.0 (frameless).I want to have one help topic containing a list of all my technical references. For example:[1] Smith, John, Dummy's Guide to Physics. p 332.[2] Jones, Sarah, Nature, Dec 2022, p3.[3] Harington, Steve, "Atoms explained", p542. I would like to use an ordered list, so that the numbers are automatic. And then, on other help topics, I want to provide links to those technical references. For example, I would like the following: According to most physicists, atoms are real [3]. where the "[3]" is a link which takes you to the third entry of the page of references. Does anyone have any idea how to do this?

Hello, Search results don't display from the output (frameless), even though it says there are results. It does work directly from View Output in RoboHelp, but it's not working in our test environments. I think this post is similar: https://community.adobe.com/t5/robohelp-discussions/search-stopped-working/m-p/13852327. Is there a fix? Thank you!  

We are facing an issue when we try to translate our project.We export our content as XLIFF. When we re-import the translated content via XLIFF, Snippets are not there anymore.I first tried to import only the snippet separately >> the correct places are found everywhere in the entire English project and replaced correctly. Hello,I am currently using Robohelp 2022 and my organization has created multiple condition tags which we link our topics. We only have one output for our organization so we added these condition tags as dynamic content filters so that when user's search the frameless publication they can use these as filter options to narrow down their search for the content.It works great, but there is an undesired aesthetic within the filters, there are underscores between the words for the condition tags for the output.Based on my reading this is something Robohelp inherently adds when creating condition tag; however, I wanted to check with the community to see if anyone knew of a way to remove the underscores.Below is what is display for our employees when they select the filter option on our published version which corresponds to our condition tags.Any assistance would be greatly apreciated.Thank you, Natalie Barry  

There is a screen that is a called within the application and I can't not get the Robohelp screen to display.Is there a way to get Called screen to display?   If  this is totally confusing, is it possible to schedule a date and time to show you via TEAMS? Please advise. Thank you Sharon Restoule 

I am writitng help for a mobile phone app and use a browse sequence to navigate my readers through the help. This no longer works in RoboHelp 2022 - the buttons are not in the output. I tried using the Charcoal Gray template provided by RoboHelp but this doesn't work either (no browse sequence buttons - but this default skin also works fine in RoboHelp 2020).
