Hi,I have inserted footnotes in Word, containing the String "TopicAlias", followed by my help ID (both with or without a space between). In the import setting, the same string is configured. Is there anything else I need to do? No help IDs are generated during import. I use RH 2019 classic and Word 365.Best regards,Robert

I've just started exploring the RH 2022 Trial version and already have a conundrum: while trying to set up the .css, I was confronted with text boxes Class and psuedo class.What are these and how do I label them?While I'm at it, any general advice would be appreciated; 2022 seems a quantum leap in difference from 2017. thank you,Lon

One of my team member is not able to login to view this training video on Adobe RoboHelp:https://learningmanager.adobe.com/app/learner?accountId=97540#/course/2197999When he tries to login, he keeps getting the Login dialog box.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------When I try to login, I provide my company email ID and then click Continue.It shows me this screen:I select "Company or School Account". Then, it takes me to the Adobe RoboHelp - Level 1 course.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Any thoughts?   

Robohelp 2022.8.34 I just compiled my help system, and the search isn't working. I know I didn't change anything in the Frameless output preset or the Skin. It was working before, but now it's not. When I type in the search box, autocomple works, but no search results are displayed. Any thoughts?    

Using the basic Azure_Blue template, I specify a logo image in the Header (Preserve Aspect Ratio=Yes, width=150px). In the output preset I put in a Title of "Help." The Mobile and Table configurations don't seem to leave space for a wide logo; meaning there's a dramatically shrunken logo next to a normal-sized "Help." Is there any way to allow more space for the logo in the Mobile and Tablet configurations? Or, alternatively, specify a different logo for them?

I'm very new to RoboHelp. The process I inherited wasn't well documented, so I've had to figure almost everything out as I go, which has been both fun and challenging. Our process is to download html files into RoboHelp for edits. I'm currently able to edit files just fine. I make the edits and then re-upload the html file to Visual Studio. However, when I create a NEW page from scratch in RoboHelp and go through the process of uploading it to Visual Studio and then our IT deploys it, the new page doesn't appear when I search within our 'Help.' If I type the URL containing the page into the web bar, the page loads, but the page is not searchable. What step have I missed to get these pages to populate?

Good morning all, My team has published for the first time using RoboHelp 2020! One thing of note is in the projects search results, there is a line of text ".p.searchsummary0_###" where ### is a seemingly random string of numbers. This looks to be related to a wSearchContext span? I have not been able to determine the cause so figured I would post the question here. Another project with identical settings (as far as I can tell) was published and its search results do not include this string. Thanks!

Hi All, I have a very simple project consisting of two Topic folders. One folder has two Topics in it. Both of these topics are less than a page in length, with embedded Captivate files. The other folder has 28 topics in it with no content. I'm just setting up the skeleton of the project at this point.When I create topics in a folder, Robohelp places the topics in alphabetical order; a real pain as I'm typing them in the order I want them to be organized. So I go to move the topics, but can't. Just by grabbing one topic and trying to drag it around, Robohelp freezes, nothing happens for more than 20 minutes and I quit the program. What could be causing ths program to run so sluggishly that it is unusable? Thanks in advance for all help!Craig

I created a frameless template for my team to use in RH 2022, and have been able to export/import it successfully in my own projects. However, one of my teammates has tried importing it into her own file and she gets an error message saying the template needs to be upgraded before she can import it. We are both using 2022, but not sure if she has a more up-to-date version than I do? Is this something to keep in mind, that depending on which version of RH 2022 you have, the template needs to be that same version?

Trying to produce sensible Word output and I can't get formatting to work. I don't seem to be able to associate Word styles with RoboHelp styles. The Style Mapping panel in Output Preset > Word Document is blank despite pointing the thing at a Word doc with defined styles.I tried setting up Styles in the template content css thinking this might do something, but no,The document needs autonumbers with levels too, but the numbers aren't even appearing in the preview.... Any help would be much appreciated as I've been struggling with this for a few days now. I'm using the BlueLagoon frameless skin in RH2022. For some reason, a weird gray line displays at the bottom of some of my topic pages (not all). I figured out that I can fix it by removing the line in the "../outputs/..../BlueLagoon/layout.css" file, but when I regenerate the project, all of my changes are overwritten and my changes are lost, causing the line to reappear. Is there another way to remove that line from within the skin editor or, at the very least, not overwrite my changes?  

We upgraded a RoboHelp 2017 project to a RoboHelp 2020 project. In the old project, we used Webhelp outputs. You could click on a link in our applications and the Webhelp output would open. In the RoboHelp 2020 project, none of our help links in the application that worked previously are working/linking to the new project. It seems unable to open “index.htm”. We have tried different output types (Frameless, Microsoft HTML Help, Responsive HTML5) but none of them open. We are thinking it’s something wrong with the project, as the old project worked. Has anyone had this issue? Possibly I just need to open a case https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/enterprise-support.other.html#robohelp. Thank you. 

I am using 2022.2 and have the same error message generating Word output.  Interestingly (or frustratingly!) my output was a duplicate of one that works just fine from the same project, just with different Table of Contents, and Condition, Expression. I'm customizing the frameless studio skin and have tried to figure out how to skip this front page and have the project open to a topic page or, even better, remove the tiles on this page and insert a topic.  I don't want to use the tiles.   

How does one regenerate the Index for all project topics for WebHelp? Many of my topics are outdated. I'm currently using version 2022.1.188. There used to be an "auto-generate index" function that no longer appears available? Thanks!

My TOC contains links to external web pages. And for those links, I want to add an icon to indicate that the link goes outside of the project. I went to Properties > TOC Icon & then uploaded the custom icon. But for some reason, the icon does not display when I generate the output. I also want the link to display in my search results, but they don't. Am I missing something?

I am using Windows 11 and Robohelp version 2022.2.22 and nothing happens when I use the Check for updates option. I did see that was a problem with a previous version. Should this be working for 2022.2.22?

Is there a way to generate an output in a way that only some files inside the project are updated in the output folder and others that are still in work stay as last generated in the output? Or at least send to publish (with the Publish function) only some specific files? Seems I'm in a deadlock My situation is that I'm currently updating a number of files in the RH project folder. Some of them cannot be finalized untill the end of the  month, whereas I have a couple of files that are ready to be published to the site. But seems that there is no way in RH to generate an output only for some files that are ready to be published. You can generate an outout only to the whole project. Am I correct? Please advise how to work in RH if you use your project to constantly update the content, but you need to generate the output only for some files that are ready to be published while some other files are still "in work" status and cannot be published. Thank you for your help

We have an ask from the customers. In the Frameless responsive output that has a home page/landing page with tiles, the ask is to somehow upfront add a revision history of updates that are published in the help.Any ideas/suggestions how this can be added?

RoboHelp 2022.2.22Hi,I am encountering an application error while editing any Frameless Home Page or Topic Page template.  Whenever I click an object that has a css psuedo-class such as Left Panel > selected-title:hover or Search Box > search-textfield:focus, I get the error. All other 'standard' objects such as Header > container, I am able to edit and set styling properties without any issues.   For reference, this is the error:At first I thought it was a problem with the project I am currently working on. However, after opening the Adobe supplied samples, they too produce the error when I select psuedo-class items. My project uses the Frameless Orange template, but I can reproduce the error with all of the frameless templates.  Here's what else I've tried/checked:Close RH, deleted the .RH folder, then restart RH Projects, templates & output presets paths are set to local hard drive; no cloud-based folders usedCreated new Frameless

Hi guys, I wonder if RH has freeze pane feature like excel.I'd like to have several lines keeps showing at the top of page when readers scrolling down.Or can you recommend me other similar features if any.?  Thanks in advance.
