I'm using Windows 10 - most of my adobe files have a filebox icon on them and I cannot open the files. See attached image. Some of the files are fine. I have been trying to resolve this for over a year. Any suggestions?Thank you for any help!

I think adding these would make editing videos here a lot more easier without also having to pay for premiere pro

Hi Im jocelyn Im 9 I hope you like it

I'm encountering a fun new problem today: I've generated proxies for all of my project footage (watermarked low resolution Quicktimes) and for some reason one entire bin of footage is not toggling between proxy and full res footage in my program monitor. (Others are working fine - same cameras, same process.) It shows that they are attached and the media file path, and they all appear normal when I view the proxy files in the finder - the new little 'proxy' symbol on the clips in the timeline even turns blue, and yet it does not show the proxies and scrubbing is prohibitively choppy. I've tried detaching and reattaching them several times, resetting computer, clearing cache, nothing seems to work. A note that I had to generate these proxies on my Intel laptop (thanks to Premiere crashing constantly on my M1 Mac failing to handle C70 MXF files - another as yet unresolved issue in another discussion board), but I wouldn't think that's the issue? Please advise, my workflow is becomming mo

I am running Adobe ACrobat Pro version 2025.001.20438 on Mac OS Sequoia 15.3.2.  When I try to add eSignatures ai M aable to fill out the receipents, including their names but when I go to place the fields the cursor remains a cross.  I am able to successfully add signatures to other files withoput problems.  I tried saving the file using Save As Other to a reduced size just to see if making some filel change would change the way eSignature was working, but no luck.  Suggestions?

I have a muppet style character whos head is like a ball split in half. Lower half is chin, upper half is head.I want the upper half (head) to move up and down in response to the audio track of dialogue to look like its talking. I can get the head reacting using expressions but the movements are small and the position gets skewed. How can i adjust the height and position of the head talking? I'm an AE newbie learning off tutorials so any help is appreciated.

I cannot for the life of me generate a transparent MP4. I am taking an MP4 generated in Adobe Express, pulling it into Premiere Pro, and exporting it with either: QuicktimeAnimation8 bit + alpha or: QuicktimeApple ProRes 4448 bit + alpha and get the exact same MP4 back. I have tried this on two different machines (Mac Mini m4 and MacBook Air M4) with the same result. I have tried it with MP4s with an animated backgroundMP4s that come from a transparent PNG and renders as an MP4 with a black backgroundMP4s with black backgroundsMP4s with white backgrounds I am at a loss. Anyone with any insight on this? Thank you!

I have my video project here, with all this empty space at the end. I can't see any way to delete it. How can I set the correct end point? Please help! Thanks!

We have a new Lenovo P16 ThinkPad with an Intel Ultra 7 155H and an NVIDIA RTX 1000 Ada.Rush can start normally, and you can click create a new project. As soon as an MP4 file is in the preview of the media selection menu (the Explore looking like window), it freezes and crashes. Also, in Premiere Pro there seem to be some issues with lags or bad performance. So far I have updated to the latest NVIDIA Studio Drivers.Adobe Cloud and Adobe Apps are also updated.I also tried reinstalling. In NVIDIA and Windows settings, I chose the NVIDIA GPU for Rush. So far, nothing helped.Maybe somebody can relate and give me a hint on what to try next...

Hi,I am having a problem with my gpu preview. It's greyed out and I can't enabled it. On the performance tab, it says gpu is compatible and available. I can check the box in gpu performance and animated zoom, but somehow I can't enabled it. This is not the 1st time that it happened. It happens every now and then and it happened again today. I decided to ask it here in the forum cause I'm really pissed that I can't use it again. My gpu drivers and illustrator are both updated.I am using a dual screen. 1 is a monitor-tablet Huion gt-191 and the other 1 is just a normal 23" Samsung monitor. Here's the specs of my pc:CPU: Intel I5-6600RAM: 8GBGPU: Nvidia Gtx 1060 6gbI hope you guys can help me. I really need to use my illustrator as I have work to do. I can't work without the GPU preview Thanks!PS. sorry for the bad english. Not my 1st language

Is there any hot key to snap anchor point of a shape to the center of the shap? video also attached.

I've created a form with multiple drop down lists. I have selected Auto Size for the font size.  It works great while I am working in Adobe - the text is sized to fit within the cell.  However, when I open the file as a PDF (like my client would receive it) the auto size doesn't work and the client selection is too large to fit in the cell.  Am I doing something incorrect to make it work on the PDF?

Running Captivate 12.5 on Windows 11 and it is basically unusable for me. Here's why:1) I can only create Blank slides. If I select any other kind of slide when adding a new slide, it doesn't create it.2) I cannot add any new element of any kind to any slide, whether it's a new/blank slide or a previously existing slide. I can copy paste and I can edit things that are already in my slides, but that's all I can do.

I just found out about the proxy workflow, so I followed a tutorial yesterday that showed me how to create a proxy preset and then an ingest file, which also added in a watermark so I could tell when I was working with the proxies. My footage is all 1920x1080, some mts, some .mov. Some is 59fps and some 30. I've read that I can't transcode the 59fps to 30 because it will slow it down, and this is all interview footage which has audio. So I tried to keep the same frame rate as the original and used a Cineform codec with 1280x720 quality 1, and the watermark (image overlay) added. But it keeps changing the size to 1280x853.All of the proxies it made with this preset are squashed vertically and have black bars above and below, and they're bigger than my originals. What are the format, preset and codec settings to use for this type of footage on a mac so it can be the same width and height as my original, but smaller and easy to run in a proxy workflow? I've read that the H264 preset is too

If anyone could help out with this problem, I would be most grateful.I started learning After Effects at the beginning of this year and apart from a few glitches, I am really enjoying the course.Except that AE will sometimes refuse to allow me to change my font.As soon as I click on the drop down menu from the Character panel, a pop warning appears. After Effects: Unspecified drawing error.I need to click on the OK button at least 4 or 5 times to get rid of the pop up because it keeps reappearing as soon as I click on the OK button.Very frustrating!I have found that AE is slightly more compliant when I open the program as the administrator. Can someone help me out with this problem?

With the latest PS update, whenever I hover over the image I'm working on with the move tool, the layer I am hovering over is highlighted with a blue square. I guess it's supposed to denote what layer I am hovering over? How do I disable this? I didn't ask for this "feature" to be enabled and it's REALLY annoying.See screenshot when hovering over text layer.

After applying CF2021 Update 19, the following three services failed to start:Add-on ServicesODBC AgentODBC ServerI was able to get the add-on working again by reinstalling it, but the ODBC services are no longer working. I even rolled back to update 18 and ODBC services are still failing to start. Any guidance with this would be greatly appreciated.

Upon creating a LottieFile it doesn't look aynything like my comp. I only have Nulls, Shape layers and Shape layers with masks in my comp. There's also a Wiggle expression active. I'm not expierenced enough with AE to understand the issue, let alone the solution.
