Solved

Hi there, was wondering if anyone was experiencing being unable to drag and drop images from photoshop to illustrator. When I move the image between the apps on my desktop, the green circle plus sign appears in Illustrator like it's going to drop the image, but then nothing happens. I can still drag images from Illustrator to Photoshop no problem. I know I can export a PNG file of the image and then place it in Illustrator, but it's not the same. Both Illustrator and Photoshop have been updated to the latest iterations (AI v29.3, PS v26.3). Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!

Hi all.For some unknown reason, i've noticed lately that when trying to print a PDF, it prints a 2 page doc on 1 sheet.Via a few headaches of trying to work it out, i discovered that i need to, under "page sizing and handling", change the default from "multiple" to "size".Now the question is, how do i set that "size" option as a default, rather than having to remember to do it for each PDF i want to print ?Any help would be hugeley welcomed.Thank you

I'm having a problem opening existing PS files on PS 2021. When I try to open them PS opens and has the file title showning on the tab and the file image displayed in the Navigator window. But the file does not display on the work area/artboard. I'm on Big Sur, could this be the problem.

I open an Acrobat doc and click on share. I type emails in 'Enter name or email box'. Recent email addresses appear which I want to delete but I don't know how

I have renamed the files in my cataloge.  The files are Tiffs.  I want to export them as Jpgs into a different folder and have the jpgs use the new name given the Tiffs.  However, the exported jpgs revert back to the original file name. Am I missing something? I am running Lightroom Classic 14.2 on a Windows 10 machine with 32gigs of RAM.

Is there any way to remove the image preview in the resize dialog?

Hi, I'm trying to create a script for Photoshop that  will convert layered tiff files to png files with transparency.I created this script, but despite having transparency = true in the save options, the pngs are saved without transparency. They are also converted to sRGB when I want the original profile to be preserved and embedded.  #target photoshop app.displayDialogs = DialogModes.NO; function convertTIFtoPNG() { var inputFolder = Folder.selectDialog("Select the folder containing TIFF images"); if (!inputFolder) return; // Exit if no folder is selected var outputFolder = new Folder(inputFolder + "/PNG"); if (!outputFolder.exists) outputFolder.create(); var tifFiles = inputFolder.getFiles("*.tif"); if (tifFiles.length === 0) { alert("No TIFF files found in the selected folder."); return; } for (var i = 0; i < tifFiles.length; i++) { var file = tifFiles[i]; if (file instanceof File) {

Hello - I tried to update my CF2023 on Windows using the CF Admin tool's Package Manager. I clicked on Download and Install, it looks like it downloaded the latest version  to the server, according to the updates log, it downloaded Update 12, but the process didn't stop and restart the server.I did that manually, and my account has persmission to access the services, so that shouldn't be an issue.I didn't notice the update to 12 being applied.   I am bringing the Server from 6 to 12. I'm just trying to get the updates and the other packages up to spec.I've looked at different update guides... and there is a part of me that get's a little confused as to what files I need to modify and where to point things. As I mentioned that the admin downloaded the file and put it in one directory, but when I follow the updates instructions, and download the zip file, the instructions want me to point to that unzipped directory.. I think.I'm sorry, but trying to mak

I noticed that Photoshop has received another update, and the icons have been rearranged. Previously, the Lasso tool was located in the top left corner. I used to select the Lasso tool, outline some jeans to remove wrinkles, apply Generative AI, and achieve great results quickly.However, I have now spent an hour searching for this tool.Am I missing something? I found the Magnetic Lasso tool, but not the one I was using just eight hours ago.If anyone knows where to find it, please let me know. Thank you.

Hello All,I try this specific community ... no results in Photoshop community.The only answers I got were: - "crop tool never existed" ... nonsense!                                                   - "I have it" ... must be someone with an older version / before 17.2Here it is again:Since Feb 2025 upgrade (17.2) the crop tool is missing and the spot replaced by "Geometry", which has nothing to do with cropping. It's not there, regardless of using a jpg, psd, or other file. Any suggestions, please! Is it discontinued or am I too stupid to find it?? 🙂 Thanks

Reasonably new to Acrobat Reader Pro. The right/left arrow keys on my keyboard used to default to control page up/page down. Now, however, when I open a pdf, the cursor appears in the document (as if to select text) and the arrow keys control the cursor. How do I get page up/page down to be the default role for the arrow keys?

HElloWhen I import  clips into Premire Pro, There is no synchronization between the audio and the video.What can be the reason(s) of this problem and what are the posibble solutions to it? How can I fix it?(In the orginal clips, the synchronization is OK)

So, I'm having major problems editing. I can import fine, and edit fine, but any clips I play in Premiere Pro are playing in fast forward with choppy audio. I've looked online, but it's really hard to find any results when the issue has to do with speed, all I get back are "How to speed up or slow down clips" but the clips are fine, after export things play normally, it's the actual Premiere Pro player that is the issue. The only people I've seen with this issue online seem to have fixed it in the Audio Hardware preferences, but none of them actually say what they did to fix it, and I haven't found anything in it that fixed it. (Switching from MME to ASIO seemed to fix the play speed, but then I had no audio at all)My computer should have zero issues running... anything.AMD A10-7700k Radeon R7, 10 compute cores 4C+6G 3.40GHZAMD Radeon R9 380 4GB32 gigs of RamI really need to figure this out, video editing is a major part of my school assignments. Anyone have any suggestions. I've tried

I want this grid to fade away from bottom to top. I thought applying a gradient to the grid from white to the color of the background image would do it, but every way I try it (rasterizing, expanding, etc.) it either does nothing or the gradient is not applied evenly to the lines from top to bottom (sometimes the vertical lines have the gradient but not horizontal or vice versa). How do I do that, or is there a better way to achieve what I am looking for?

I customize my shortcuts in Illustrator every time I install a new version, but I don't know how to load this configuration when I reinstall the program. I can't find the file or I don't know how it's saved and loaded. I would appreciate it if you could guide me through this process so I can have my custom keyboard shortcuts for Illustrator functions in each new installation.

Hi everyone,   I’m working on a project where I regularly share PDF menus, and I want to make sure the files are easy to download without losing quality. Is there a way to save a PDF directly in Adobe Acrobat with the smallest possible size, rather than compressing it afterward? for example I wrote an article on [LINK REMOVED BY MODERATOR] and the file size is big as it contains images and tables, how can I make or save it in smallest size without comprosing on quality of media.

Hey all!I'm trying to make a bunch of business cards using a template en masse with a Excel document.This contains Inuktitut characters that I would like to remain in the finished product. I've tried it with and without the Inuktitut, all the cells are filled and I've done a search for all empty cells to be sure. Each time, the result is the same: invalid library. What could be going wrong? Here is what happened when I tried to investigate possible problems listed here: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/illustrator/using/data-driven-graphics-templates-variables.html#FacingissueswhileimportingyourCSVfile Your CSV file is not blank.I've checked.The spreadsheets that you've created using the latest version of Microsoft Excel are saved as CSV (Comma delimited) (*.csv) or CSV (MS-DOS) (*.csv) and those created using Apple Numbers are saved as CSV format with Unicode (UTF-8) encoding. Hi people, Until today and on all platforms, the low-level ExtendScript method Folder.prototype.create() was able to create a full path of non-existent subfolders within some root folder. For example, with the code    var myFolder = new Folder( Folder.myDocuments + '/dir1/dir2/dir3' );   myFolder.create(); you were obtaining the creation of all required subfolders (dir1, dir2, dir3) in case of non-existence. This behavior was consistent across all versions of ExtendScript that we knew of, and on all systems. As of InDesign 20.1 (not 20.0.x), and specifically on macOS, the above code will not always produce the desired result. In fact, only the dir1 folder will be created (if it does not exist), or only dir2 (if dir1 exists but not dir2), and so on. In other words, myFolder.create() only creates the highest missing folder in the hierarchy—so it will only work correctly if all parent folders were already existing. A particu

InDesign 2021, Big Sur 11.4, Font Explorer Pro 7.2.6I have a text box that contains a single character (the letter "a"). When I try to change the character, delete it, or delete the text box that contains it, InDesign flat out crashes, disappears. I can reopen the document to it's last saved state with no problems and re-save and continue working. It's a 60-page magazine so re-doing it in a new document is not an option. I can live with the text box stayting there forever but it's bugging me.There used to be a paragraph in there but I narrowed the problem down to this one character.Any advice?
