Hey all, Awhile back, when I upgraded my Illustrator, I found out that it no longer came with the Pantone colors. I dug around online for awhile to find the remedy, and was told you can either get a Pantone license or if you still have an old copy of Illustrator you can extract certain files from it and move it over into the new Illustrator. Well, I somehow found out how it was done and did just that, and "voila", I had my Pantone books back in Illustrator, albeit, they are older versions, but honestly, I'm okay with that, as the bulk of colors I use are still in the older books. So, I just recently upgraded my Illustrator again, and guess what? It wiped my old Pantone books out again and I no longer have them...again. I do still have the old Illustrator version to retrieve them from, but can't remember how to do it now. Can someone here coach me where the old files can be found in my old computer backup and where I need to place them again? Much appreciated! Thanks!

Hello everyone,I want to write a script that for whatever fill color I have selected, it would create a gradient that goes from 100% to 0% of that same color. I kinda successfully done it with the help of chatGPT, but the code keeps on creating new gradient swatches every time, piling up in the swatches panel. Is there a way to place the gradient directly into the defaultFill without using swatches? I tried giving the swatch a name, and then deleting it before recreating another with the same name, but that also removes the color from items using it (they turn to black). Weirdly enough, when I delete the swatch from the UI, that doesn't do that. Any help would be appreciated...

I have a huge collection of photos up on adobe's server as a long time user of Lightroom CC. Now that Lightroom Classic CC has been added to my plan I decided to try it. It took 4 days to download my photos. I though maybe this was a result of adobe servers configuration not to use too much bandwidth. Then I discovered Lightroom Downloader is much, much, much faster. This is apparently a known bug as searching for itI came across multiple Reddit posts telling the same experience and it has also been going on for quite a while. Is there any chance the software itself becomes as fast as the downloader? Another big problem for me is, at the moment, the fact the imported photos folder is not taking creating the same structure as my Lightroom library (I carefully divided photos by events, month and year). I know the operation would make it difficult to create album folders for albums taking photos from composite albums (meaning by that albums that are composed of different photos

I'm subscribed to Creative Cloud since 2023 and receive the reduced monthly fee because of my education status.Just last week I found out that, due to my education status, I am also eligible for a free licence of Substance 3D. Therefore I applied for the Substance package, was verified and a one year license was added to my Adobe account without any problem. However, today I received an E-Mail that my monthly fee for Creative Cloud is now 78€ per month and was sent via PayPal. I was confused and logged into my account at Adobe. There was a pop-up that told me they were "Unable to verifiy my education" status and therefore I lost my education status for Creative Cloud. I need to verify again. I am wondering: How is this possible? I literally verified my education status just seven days ago for Substance (and this license is still active so there was no problem with the verification). Why do I need to verify it for Creative Cloud separately again? Both products are in exactly t

Suddenly I'm having problems with opening the editor in Elements 2025. I immediately get a pop-up ad, I close the ad, but my photo doesn't load, and I'm told the editor is busy. I have to close and reload the editor all over again. How can I fix this? Thanks

i got a key assigned to"select in to out".   Now, I put a in and out mark on timeline.  press F3 -- and it selects the entire (sub)clip.  Not between the in/outs I just placed i say sub clip. bcause i start with a single import into V1/A1.  then extract out pieces from that by marking in/out and extracting.    But sometimes I don't want to extract, I just want to zoom or pan  on a section.  To get there currently: I'll mark in on one frame, then out on the very next frame and extract. That gives me myleft margin for applying effects. Move to the right, however much needed,  and mark in on one frame, out on the very next and extract.  Now I've explicitly marked where I want the effects to happen.  But I'm losing frames I don't necessarily want to lose__and it also seems like a fairly stilted process.  Is that the only way to do it, since select in-to-out seems to expect hard edits?  And why bother with

After the last update, the floating AI window has disappeared. I can still do some AI stuff if I right click on a selection, and choose it from the dropdown menu, but the pop-up that appeard with any selection is no longer there. Have they removed it, or is this a bug?

I'm paying for the yearly Acrobat Reader Premium subscription, yet the mobile app declares me as a free user. Switching accounts hasn't helped neither. When I click "restore purchases" it tells me that my subscription was cancelled or has expired. And then when I click "Subscribe now" for Premium, it keeps on telling me "Purchase successful. Waiting for feature activation" (without asking for any confirmation), but always end in an error. "Manage subscriptions" takes me to my ACTIVE subscription, but the app still won't allow me to use any premium tools. This has been bugging me for months and I couldn't find any support phone number or mail address anywhere! Might as well stop using it for good at this point.

I want reflection of this image at this point. How to decide which point to select from this option?

Bonjour !

In Adobe Premiere Pro version 25.6.3, the Radial Wipe effect no longer has a place to put value for the Wipe Center. And the ruined all the past edits that includes this effect. Would you please bring it back? It seems like a mistake.
