Hello (@S. S) Souvik, thank you very much for your answer and time. I have looked into the Preflight tools and did not find the aforementioned profile. Perhaps it isn't included in the base libraries? I have checked profiles as well as fixups in all the available libraries: Acrobat 2015, Essentials, PDF Standards, Prepress... Nothing popped up. I have also checked the custom fixups, but nothing relevant either: Sidenote: removing the XMP metadata will also remove the PDF/X-6 compliance. Can you provide further assistance? Thank again for your time, David

Hello @S. S I tried to run that terminal command and I'm getting a "No such file or directory" when running it. I drilled in to my /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Acrobat/ and thats where it ends. No additional Acrobat folder inside and nothing called Updater. I have 11.0 (empty) a DC folder and Framework folder (also empty). I had auto update turned off in Preference so I tried to re-enable that to try and run the terminal again, still error and still no folder in the App Support.

Hi @scotw74004221,
Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble.
Do you see this error message even when the updater is disabled from the preferences?
I have forwarded this to the developers and will get back to you as soon as possible. I request your kind understanding and patience while I work on a solution.

Hi @ProPato,
Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble.
From the screenshot, it looks like a permissions issue or the process on how the form is created.
Would you mind sharing a few details for further investigation:
1. The app version you are using (go to Home-> Profile-> About Acrobat);
2. The Android OS version of your device;
3. Both the files whose screenshot you have shared above for us to test in-house.
Also, please ensure you are on the latest version of the application for the best experience.
Regards, Souvik.

Hi @lp_01,
Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble.
As an initial step, try resetting the Acrobat preferences as described here https://adobe.ly/3FsmZB9...
Please run the Acrobat cleaner tool https://adobe.ly/4hhbdHh, reboot the computer once, and install the application using the direct link https://adobe.ly/4bwQePm and see if that works for you.
If neither of this work, please help us gather the logs from your machine: https://adobe.ly/4hhbdXN. You can upload logs using this tool and share your Unique log ID with us.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Regards, Souvik.

Hi @Darryl_8798,
Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble.
If multiple users need different levels of access, you can consider using Adobe Licensing Management to enforce Shared Device Licensing instead of user-based activation.
The other option would be to suppress Acrobat from upgrading to Pro. To do so,
1. Go to Registry Editor;
2. Go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\FeatureLockDown
3. Create a new DWORD (32-bit) Value: bDisableUpsell and set its value to 1.
Hope this helps.
Regards, Souvik.

Hi @cari-ann_4544,
Hope you are doing well. Thanks for writing in!
To answer your question:
Yes! When you insert a new page into a PDF, headers and footers do not automatically carry over to the new page. Instead, the new page is treated as a separate from the existing header/footer settings.
You can try the steps below:
Go to Edit > Header & Footer > Add... .
Note the current settings (text, alignment, font, etc.).
Click "Cancel" (so you don’t overwrite existing headers yet).
Go to Edit > Header & Footer > Update... .
Click "Apply to all pages", including the newly inserted page.
This method reapplies the same header/footer across the entire document, including the new page.
Hope this helps.

Hi @Heather33300573y2l5,
Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble.
Here are some of my comments which I believe could be causing the issue:
Word’s Export to PDF Misinterpreting Styles
Even though your Word document uses styles properly, sometimes the tags can be wrongly assigned due to Word’s XML structure.
Custom Styles in Word Not Mapping Correctly to PDF Tags
If you've customized the Heading 1, Heading 2, and Heading 3 styles, those may not be mapped to the expected tags.
Word’s Accessibility Checker Does Not Validate Tag Structure
Word’s built-in checker only ensures that headings exist, but it does not verify correct tag assignment in the final PDF.
That being said, if the document’s structure is completely broken, you can try re-autotagging it:
Steps:
Open Check for Accessibility > Autotag Document .
Acrobat will attempt to reassign the correct tags.
Check the Tags Panel to confirm if the headings are now properly structured.
Hope this helps.
Regards, Souvik.

Hi @Michaelikus,
Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble.
You can remove cache files by following the below steps:
Access the Library Folder:
Open Finder.
Click "Go" in the menu bar.
Hold down the Option key and click "Library".
Alternatively, you can click "Go to Folder" and type in ~/Library .
Locate the Cache Files:
Open the "~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Media Cache" folder.
Open the "~/Library/Caches/Adobe" folder.
delete the files within the folders.
Empty the Trash:
Right-click the Trash icon in the Dock and select "Empty Trash".
Also, you can stop Acrobat from creating auto-save files, which can lead to cache memory consumption by going to Acrobat> Preferences> Documents> uncheck "Automatically save document changes."
Hope this helps.
Regards, Souvik.

Hi Souvik, I do think adding a link to a PDF should really be as easy as copy and paste or at least someting like an "insert link" button in the text propreties context menu. Actually, this contexte menu give very minimal possibilities. it does lack many options like vertical align, link insertion, bullets and numbering, image insertion, etc. The "new interface" even position the menu right above the place where I am trying to write... This feals it just hasen't been really thought trough. I was really going to say, "I shure will follow you link!" but I realise the web site is althogether an other site where I should create a new username and password, and really, I feel these comments I made should juste be normal user interface standards, and I don't want to waste any more time. As an Adobe employee, please feel free to relay my comments and make your software easy to use, not alway having to find new ways to tweak and trick the interface that lacks these standard options. Regards, p.s.: Even this textbox I am writing in right now has more options than Adobe Acrobat's comment's text boxes!!! Seriously.

I found a way to stop Acrobat from adding to 'start at login'. Or at least on my computer: Go to 'Activity monitor' kill all Adobe tasks. Go to 'Machintosh HD > Library > LaunchAgents' and delete the file 'com.adobe.ARMDCHelper.cc24ae...0d.plist. Go to 'Machintosh HD > Apps > Adobe Acrobat DC' and delete the file 'Adobe Collaboration Synchronizer'. After doing this Acrobat gives three warnings when starting, but - in my case - the app-helper is not automatically set to start in the background. Acrobat still seems to works.
