This post applies to Adobe Camera Raw plug-in.     Adobe Camera Raw team is sharing an early look of our new Reflection Removal feature, which removes reflections caused by plate glass surfaces from photos.    Note:  The feature currently only works on raw photos. Support for JPEGs & HEICs is added in the April 24 Update. There is a known issue on some Windows machines where the feature may produce a corrupt image. Announcing a new feature now in Adobe Camera Raw (17.2) – Removal of Distracting PeopleUnder the Remove dialog, under Distraction Removal, we have added an item called “People”.   This feature supports faster and easier detection and removal of distracting people in an image. It is offered as a Tech Preview in the Adobe Camera Raw Plugin-only and is available now. hi there,in camera raw i was used to find 3 options when i've had to use remove tool, now, without any upgrade or version change, the AI generate only one version... is it a bug, new feature or i've involuntary change some setting?  my environment:apple iMac 24" - 2023macOS Sequoia 15.3camera raw 17.5.1adobe photoshop 26.11.0

Hallo liebe Community,bei der Bildbearbeitung in CameraRaw kommt es immer zu einem Systemabsturz, wenn ich Entrauschen verwende. Ab der Mitte des Entrauschungsprozesses laufen die Lüfter meiner Grafikkarte (AMD Radeon 6500 XT, 4 GB) plötzlich auf Hochtouren und das gesamte System, also nicht nur Photoshop, stürzt ab. Mit externen Entrauschnungsprogrammen, wie bspw. Topaz tritt dieser Fehler nicht auf. Betriebssystem Windows 11 Pro. Der oben beschriebene Fehler trat auch schon unter Windows 10 Pro auf. Kann jemand helfen?Gruß Willy

When using Bridge to copy AI Denoise settings to 100+ files, it starts using increasing amounts of RAM, up to 80-90 GB. It seems to stop rising beyond that amount, however then the denoise process slows down with GPU idling most of the time, waiting for the next file to process.I've been experiencing this issues on both ACR 17. x and 18.x so far, on several different PCs with RTX 2080 Super and RTX 5090 GPUs. 

From Lightroom when I go to edit a Raw file in Photoshop and then filter in Camera Raw, the Lightroom settings are visually copoed over but all of the values sliders in the Camera Raw filter ar all set to zero. I have only just started to try and use ACR and prefer it over using the Lightrrom version but this has got me stumped. I like to use Lightroom for browsing albums and I like to make initial edits but now want to use some of the luminoisty plug-ins that are photoshop to take my photography to the next level.  I have included both Lightroom and Camera Raw scvreen shots showing that the settings are passed over (i deliberatly dropped the exposure to make the difference obvious) but the slider values are not. Hope someone can help. Chris  

I have the latest version of Adobe DNG converter but it doesn't recognise the ORF files from my OMD OM5 camera. Any solutions?

This post applies to Camera Raw.  Feedback for Lightroom Classic and Lightroom Desktop should be posted here.   Update February 2025:Adobe has introduced two Adaptive Profiles – Adaptive Color & Adaptive B&W.   Getting started with the Adaptive Profiles:  Access a profile inside the profile favorites menu.  In addition, there is a new section for Adaptive Profiles in the Profiles browser.  Enable the profile and adjust the ‘Amount’ slider as desired.  Use the rest of the Camera Raw tools just like you would otherwise.  Check out the Help Page for more detailed usage information. For more technical information on the underlying technology, please refer to this blog post.    Please try the profiles and share feedback in this community forum thread. It would help to include details like how you access Camera Raw (via Adobe Bridge or Photoshop), your computer system details, and as much information as poss

On the Mac side, when using the Adobe Photoshop Elements 2026 Editor and the installed Camera Raw 17.3.1 using Help>Install Camera Raw, if you open Camera Raw click on Browse Profiles, then click on any of the available profiles, both Camera Raw and the Photoshop Elements 2026 Editor immediately crash   On the Windows side Camera Raw freezes and has to be forced quit using the Windows Task Manager.

Não esta funcionando o Camera RAW, nessa versão, já instalei ele separado no meu macbook, mas mesmo assim não reconhece nessa versão. 

GPU Accelator IssueEverything was working fine, then out of the blue, I am getting the error “Camera Raw requires GPU accelator to edit photos.” when I try to open Raw files. I am running macOS 12.7.6.  I tried Photoshop 2021 and Photoshop 2024. Apple support said because I can see images in other applications, it’s not a hardware issue but rather a Photoshop issue.Help!  I have a new Mac on order but I need to get a project out the door. Thanks!

For more accurate results, be sure to include the object's shadow in your selection and/or expand its size.    Detect Objects uses AI to find the objects underneath a brushed area. The masked areas will now appear larger than the Early Access version of this feature. my photoshop was Chinese interface, When I use ACR 18.0 , I open the raw pictrue. The first was Chinese,but the second or third always switches to English interface, I must close photoshop,and open photoshop again, open a new pictrue, ACR18.0 was chinese. but alway switches to English interface. Many Chinese users have encountered the same problem as meI don't know why? please help me ,thanksmy computer was windows 10 , Photoshop 2025

I recenlty found when trying to preview any preset by hovering over it with the mouse in Camera Raw it would slow down, be delayed by 5 seconds or sometimes freeze up. If anyone else has noticed this, I suggest unticking the option called "Preview AI Settings On Rollover".It can be found by clicking the three dots icon within the presets panel. After doing this it should be performing much better. It worked for me.

OS: MACOS, W10Camera RAW smart filter (PS): 17.5.0.2318PS: 26.11.0 STEP TO REPRODUCE:I copy a camera raw smart filter with subject masks in it to a new file (to copy editings from a file to another),ACTUAL RESULT:when I try to create new mask for the new subject to apply the edits, it always recreate the old masks from the source fileEXPECTED RESULT:when I try to create new mask for the new subject to apply the edits, it generate a new mask based on the actual layer where the filter has been applied source file target file This is very annoying as it slows my workflow. Can you fix it as it was in the old PS version? TY.

I just saw a presentation in the Photoshop Summit 7, where somebody showed the Crop and Expand option in Camera Raw. I do not have that tool and can't find it. I am opening files directly into PS (not from within PS as a layer) by using FILE-OPEN, these are Nikon .NEF raw files and the crop tool does not show any option or check box for crop and expand. See attachment The demo was done in PS 2025 and CR 17.5.1 (2md attachment) - was that option removed? Camera Raw 18, PS 2026 on Win 11

Since the Lightroom update, the Remove tool only works after refreshing. I remove something, edit the next image, go back, and the removal needs to be refreshed. Even when I synchronize images, the removal has to be refreshed every time, and that only works incorrectly. Even removal without AI no longer works properly.
