Adobe Premiere

basically premier backend data moved from one default location to my desired location in storage. Now premier pro is not opening . is there any way out  without moving it the default location as that volume is full need free space.

For some assets in my production, when I reveal in finder, it sends me to a folder--not the asset--and the asset isn’t actually in that folder. So I open media file properties and the file path lists three different locations.  If I search for the filename on my drive, there is only one asset, and it is in one of the locations listed--but not the other two.  I thought this might be a duplicate file problem but for many of these assets there are no dupes. Any idea what’s going on? 

Is there a way to filter out clips with a common prefix in a bin? To do various turnovers, I’m finding it helpful to export the sequence to a standalone project, then sort the thousands of source clips by category. When I have, for example, all our archival stills source clips in a bin, it’d be helpful to “filter out” temporarily all clips starting with our archival stills naming convention (TT-S####) so I can easily see if any stragglers that are something else (ex. production sound) got in there by accident.

There are still issues with generating waveforms in the timeline/source window. "Generate Audio Waveform" in the clip menu does literally nothing, mayhe that option is just there for ornamental purposes?  This has been a problem for years and you have to finally fix it. What ia going on??

Created an ellipse mask for a Gaussian Blur layer, and enabled animation for Path and Transform/Position for that Mask.  Path and Position do not follow the path/positions set at various keyframes in the video.  I create a keyframe with one set of positions at point A of the video, and another set for point B of the video.  The Path/Position settings do not change as set when the editor moves from point A to B. In version 2025, I used to be able to move the Mask manually around the image at various points in the video and the keyframes with position settings would be automatically created at each point.  Now it seems I have to click the Add/Remove Keyframe control (diamond) each time to create a keyframe.  That said, because of issue #1 above, these keyframes are useless.  I would like the keyframes to be created automatically when repositioning the mask, and for the mask to follow the path/positions that I am trying to set for each keyframe.  This used to work in version 2025 when the

Old problem, still here. I saw a few posts about this from like 10 and 5 months ago, saying it was fixed but it is not. I have latest version of Premiere and happens every time I switch from Editing to Audio workspace. I have to then close Audio track mixer tab and reopen in Windows dropdown menu to make it work. Is there no bug testing before they release new versions at Adobe???

I make changes to the timeline and it will not play.  If it does start to play it will not stop, or will only stop after sometime.  Began right after updating to 26.0

When I work on two computers, my projects always disappear. How can I get them back? They are located in the One Drive folder (Windows 10-11) 

With the latest 25.2.3 (Build 4) version of Premiere, again the Waveform bug has re-appeared. Waveform generation starts, but then if you delete the media from your project, rather than Premiere stopping the waveform generation for that particular file, it just freezes at the point the waveform generation had got up to, and won't progress any further. It will stay like this forever, unless Premiere is closed and then re-started. Can this please be fixed again?

Hello! The audio panel "audio track mixer" is not working after the premiere pro update. Build147. There is simply no information in the audio track settings window.  I can't apply any effect to the audio track, just because the window is empty.

No way to manually tweak the mask if the tracker goes wrongAdobe has come up with the new 'Mask Tools' in the new version - Premiere-26, but they forgot to include the 'automatically adding keyframes for every change in the parameters" feature in the new "Mask Tools". The only way is to click on "Tracker" controls to track forward or backward. What if the tracker goes off at few points? There is absolutely no way to manually tweak the mask, reposition it and register that keyframe unlike After Effects. They have given the stopwatch next to all the Transform controls but when I add keyframes, it doesn't animate. I tried tuning on/off the tracker, but still it doesn't work. This is a serious glitch. I hope Adobe will fix it soon!

I often use "Maximize Panel Under Cursor" with the text panel (working on a 14" laptop), but instead of centering on the highlighted transcript, it often jumps to a random section. This makes it really difficult to stay focused on the part I’m working on.

In Premiere 2021, when I open a sequence from another sequence, it opens it up on another panel. And when I finish my edit with that opened sequence and then I close it, it goes back to the sequence that I opened it from.Now in Premiere 2026, when I have multiple sequence panels open, every time I close an opened sequence, it just goes to the very next sequence on the left of the one I closed, rather than the actual panel I was working on before opening that sequence.This is a problem. I want to return to my original timeline panel after closing a sequence that I opened from that timeline. Premiere used to remember which timeline I was working on when I close the new panels. Please fix this. Go back to how panel closing was in Premiere 2021. Thank you.

I tried to make shapes with (Guassion BLUR) when ı drop the effect on my video in “Premier Pro 24.6.8” when ı upload New version of “26.0” theyre gone in ;Opacity and Effects , I meant how can i bring them again on my new premier pro version? please help me to figure out this situation. I put images of 2 diffrent version my premier pro the first is 26.0 as you can see , İn effect or opacity side not have shapes or pen tool but in old version i have?. 

We have some MOGRT with media in it. If we place a media with fields, the are not correctly transformed within the MOGRT graphic. It does interprete the media as progressive. Very easy to see, when the media is scaled. It may be happed only with subcomps within the MOGRT AE project. The media is correctly configured within premiere- as upper first.If we open the media by doubleclicking onto the media inside the Essential Graphics window, there it is interpreted correctly. In the viewer window, when we change to upper field only - it does show only one field.When we try to view only one field of the MOGRT graphics - there are still both visible.

I'm using the automatic transcription tool available in Premiere Pro to edit my videos, but I've noticed that when I right-click on a filler in the transcript and select the "ignore this filler" option, the rest of the sentence in that transcribed block disappears – causing the rest of the transcript to be out of sync.Transcriptions are in Portuguese (BR), I´m using Premiere Pro 26.0.0 (Build 72)As an example, you have a quick screen recording I’ve done of the issue. As you can see, the whole sentence present on the 10:27:11 - 10:46:56 mark disappears after ignoring the filler. Closing the project and reopening it doesn’t fix it, nor does changing my workspace. I’m happy to provide any additional info if needed Thanks in advance.

We've all had the experience where Premiere couldn't auto-sync audio and video, and so we switch the timeline to Audio Time Units and get to nudging. (I've also recently learned that you can use a multi-camera source sequence to auto-sync and merge audio and video). That is only where my problem begins. Once the video and audio are "linked" together, either through merging it myself or via multicam or nesting, THE AUDIO IS NO LONGER ALIGNED! This is after Premiere supposedly aligns the audio by its exact waveform, or I do it manually by eye. I've tried switching the timeline back to frame count after aligning via ATUs, trimming the video and audio,  and then merging, and it still happens. Here's an example of auto-synced multi-cam on my timeline. I am exporting directly from Premiere, not via AME. I have used some mogarts but I have made sure all the fonts are there and synced. I keep getting an error half way through the export stating "a font that is required has changed restart the export."   I have tried a few fonts, Algerian, Arial, I have made sure they are authorized and I keep getting this error. The first time it exported ok, and ever since, all exports fail with this error. I cant go through AME.   Obviously this is somthing new as I never got this issue till 2020, does anyone have any ideas on what the cause is please?

Premiere v26.0にて、エフェクトパネル内にエフェクトプリセットビンが表示されません。旧バージョンで開くと表示されるので、最新バージョンのみ問題が生じているようです。 エフェクト横の3本線から「新規プリセットビン」を選んでも反応しませんし、エフェクトコントロールから新規のプリセットを保存しても反映されません。 アプリの再インストール、アカウントからのログアウト、PCの再起動等ひととおり試しましたが状況変わらずでした。対処法にお心あたりのある方、ご教示いただけないでしょうか。 よろしくお願いいたします。 ▼Premiere v 26.0▼Premiere Pro v 25.6.4
